Floatinghead's dream adventures

Had a real awesome dream last night that felt like it took ages...

I was at home and I had some kind of map in my hand. I looked at it and remembered that I wanted to drive to Berlin (which is very far away from where I live ^^). I told my mother goodbye and got in my car. I marked the way I wanted to drive and started. The strange thing for this dream was that it was like RL. There was nothing in this dream that was unnormal (except for me driving to Berlin haha). I drove down a road and noticed that I forgot to turn right and got on the wrong road. I looked on the map and looked where I was driving. The next possibility to turn around was in a village about 1 kilometre away from my current position. At that point it felt like I already drove for a few hours. When I got into the village I stopped at a gas-station and went inside. I looked around and it was a real small shop. I looked at the magazines and took one. A guy was standing next to me and grabbed one, too. The magazine was full of pictures about nature and that stuff. On one of the pages was a naked women and I was like "What is she doing there?". I walked to the other side of the shop and grabbed myself a bar of chocolate. I went to the cashier and she told me that I don't have to pay anything. On top of that she gave me another candy bar. I thanked her and went into my car. I noticed that it was evening already and I thought about where I could sleep. The first thing that came into my mind was sleeping inside my car. This seemed okay but then I remembered that I forgot to take my sleeping bag with me. I thought about driving back home to get it so I called my mother. I told her that I was going to drive back to get the sleeping bag. I looked at my map to see how far it was. My home was about 40 Kilometres away from my position. I got back in the car and got on my way. At that point it wasn't evening anymore but it was midday :O
Another realistic but strange part about this dream was that I really had to drive the car. I had to move the gear shift and break when another car was in front of me and that stuff. Suddenly I noticed that I forgot again to turn right. I drove up a really big hill and saw a sign of the fire-department. I thought about going there but when I arrived at the top of the hill I woke up.

This dream felt like it took ages because I really felt every hour. In reality I only slept 2 hours :O

Dream Fragment - checkered

Early on in the night I remember standing on somekind of black and white checkered board, around me are other platforms which are striped and checkered black and white, some other people are with me.

Bunny comic

I am with an old friend who I haven't seen in a while - he is showing me what he has been working on recently, a dark humor comic book - in the same style as the simpsons 'Itchy and Scratchy' I flick through the comic book - the images are nice, it seems to be about a floppy eared bunny - kinda like this:



But nicely colored in, one frame has a detailed pic of a giant beetle, another has a skeleton. My friend tells me that he just did the penciling, which didn't look as good as what they do now after being colored by someone else
