Blue = Dream I'm lying in bed with my girlfriend who is sleeping over, the door keeps swinging open so I try to wedge it shut with books from the book shelf, I look around and see that my girlfriend has started smoking balls of cotton wool and the bedsheets have disappeared. I have a false awakening and my girlfriend is still in bed with me, saying I was dreaming, I nose-plug but it fails and I don't become lucid.
It'sMEE's Dream(s) It's another dream where I'm at school. It's the start of the new school year, and we are finding out who our new school teachers are. I go along to my new geography room with my friends, and am shocked to find it's my most hated primary school teacher (she has a moustache and hates atheists, unlucky for me). I cannot face a whole geography lesson with her, so I skive off, which is something I've never done before. I get up and say "I have to go and meet my mum" she nods me out the door and I begin to panic as I wonder around the school. Now, I'm used to running around the school during lessons because of days out and coming in late back to school, going to the medical room and stuff, but I've never wondered around for no reason, so I have no clue what to do now. I decide to run around the main building for a bit and if a teacher appears, whip out my planner and pretend I'm sort of lost. I'm about to put this into action when a teacher wonders past, when I find I've left my planner at home. I sigh and decide I can get a day planner. I'm going to the office, when, at the front of the building, I go through a door, and I'm suddenly not in my school. I back through the door. No, that's not my school either. I run up the stairs and look through the door on my left. On the right, there's a wall that looks like there used to be a door there, but there isn't. I open the door, but I can see through it anyway, it's glass. Not my school. At first I don't even wonder how I got here, but then I suddenly decide I must be dreaming, and do a nose plug RC. I turn to the door and practice making my school appear when I open it. It does, and I step through into my own corridor, immediately I forget I'm dreaming, but when I look through the door, it's still someone else's school, and I see someone there, but I just carry on down the corridor and forget about it. When I get back in the class room, the lesson is about to end, and there's a film playing. Everyone seems really interested, but it's just a screen with purple and blue bubbles floating about. Later, we are led outside. I don't know if this is the same dream, because we are no longer in uniform. There are huge coloured elephants infront of us and they have machines that they are dragging along. We are put into groups and given extra machine parts to make the elephants do useful things. I suggest we attatch water sprayers to one side, and bags of seeds to the other. Somehow, I get to a castle. There is a lady there who starts trying to dress me up in posh fancy dresses. I don't like dresses, so I tell her I'd rather wear school uniform. Then I go into the dining hall. I start thinking about hw you'd get out if the room was surrounded. The north, east and west doors wouldn't be an option but there's a secret south door... no sooner have I thought this then it happens. I run over to the secret south door, but someone has blocked it off. I jump onto the table and wait for the people who are surrounding the room to come in, and then I jump off the table at them. I must have stepped on a candle or something, because my foot is on fire. I kick some guy in the face with it, and my shoe comes off. When I run out of the castle, the elephants are outside. "Jump on." says this little kid who's sitting on our elephant. I climb up, and she steers it around the field, and then lets me have a go. I'm not so good at controlling it. We get back to the field and the teacher who I don't like announces the winner, and it's not ours. I jump off the elephant and now I'm wearing big grey boots, laced tightly with pink laces and some weird rubber jump suit thing. The elephants and all of the people have vanished now. I walk down a hill and find myself on a beach. There is an island out at sea, and I want to go to it. I step on the water, and it freezes under my feet. I laugh and skate out into the sea and am at the island in no time. I begin to wonder into the forest that's there, it's a sort of jungle more than a forest. Then from out of the trees, jumps this boy from my class. "What are you doing here?" I ask, but he doesn't reply. "Come on!" he says suddenly, and grabs my sleeve and begins pulling me between trees and I ask where we're going, but he doesn't reply. Eventually, the trees stop, and there's sandy ground infront of me. "Hey, look! Chichen-Itza!" I say. "But wait, that's in mexico..." "That's where we are, duh" I don't know how this is possible. Someone has carved the letters 'TRC' into a tree infront of me, and that's what somebody has written on the bath tub at home. I pich my nose, and find I'm dreaming. I step forwards, but something stops me from being able to get out from behind the trees. It's like there's an invisible sheet of glass. The boy from my class steps right pats the invisible glass, and pulls me through. As soon as I step past, an alarm begins to go off. "What's that? Can you hear that?" I ask. He shakes his head. I wake up. It's the alarm on my phone.
Puffin's Dreams Dream fragment 1 (regular dream): There was much more to this dream, but I can't remember what. From the part I remember, it was nighttime, and I was at the bottom of a sheer cliff; this cliff was probably only 100 feet tall and was made of dark brown rock. In front of me stretched an ocean of very dark water; the sky was fairly dark but not like it would be in the middle of the night, and gradated to a lighter, almost green-blue on the horizon, where the water was. I was standing on a smooth, mint green piece of 'land' which had a wavy edge on one side. There were ripples of white in it, and the entire thing was shiny. I stepped on it and the land cracked into three pieces; two of them were large and the other piece was rather small. I don't remember what happened after that; I know that I didn't end up going in the water, though. Dream fragment 2 (regular dream): I was on my bed, and had just 'woken' from a previous dream. I decided to get up and do something else, but I was stuck in sleep paralysis. I got some weird hallucinations; when I opened my eyes near the beginning of the episode, I saw tiny stars from the mario games that were floating near the ceiling. I remember squeezing my eyes shut and being in a large garden with trimmed hedges, light grey stone for walkways, and lots of pollen in the air. That must have been the 'dream' that was forming, but I soon lost it. I came to the unconscious conclusion that I was dreaming, and tried to snap out of it, on the verge of shouting because the SP hallucinations were becoming frightening (these ones were mostly tactile, not visual - my eyes were closed now). However, the lucidity was ridiculously low, so I will not be counting it as an LD. The viewpoint changed from first- to third-person about midway through the dream. Dream fragment 3 (very poorly-remembered DILD): This was a longer semi-lucid that probably clocked in at around 8 minutes, although I can't remember next to anything about it. One thing I do remember is doing the nose-plug RC, but I don't know where I was at the time. Skip a few minutes forward and I was now doing stabilization exercises. I was walking into an underground subway station; it was essentially a large room with a fairly low ceiling; the entire thing was made of darker grey concrete that was almost shiny. The lighting was poor (in other words, dim), with a dark yellow tone to it. The concrete was stained and looked fairly decrepit. On one side of the floor, going from one rectangular hole in the wall to the other, was a clean, normal-looking indent for a subway. I was walking through a tight hallway, made of the same concrete, to get to this room. The hallway was probably only 2 feet wide, and only twice my height. On the left, I was running my hand along the wall as I walked, because it was covered in transparent patches of ice, and white frost that looked very real. I remember marveling at how cold and realistic it felt.
AnimusMessor179's Dream Sprained ankle today... Ice pack and elevated my foot tonight, slept on my back. 1) LUCID. With guy friends. Apparently a race to see who is my best friend. Rob, people. Think to myself Tim wins. In a city block with some form of barrier or shield wall in front of me. 2) Sean. Guys. Time shifts to 1950s. I'm in a dorm room with all these people. I think I need to find a bowler hat to fit in. 3) At an orientation or a first day of college. I first see a play of some sort. After I leave, I sit at a study table. I remember I have a HUGE amount of homework due the first day of school. Poster. Kinda panic, but then realize it's not the first day. I still have a while. A guy walks past with a headset and comm system on. He's the stage manager of the play, I think. The guy sitting next to me yells, "Tech Theatre!" Talk. Other people know each other. 5) While awake in bed before leaving for work. Vision of a box of two chocolate muffins. Grabbed one for breakfast. 6) Playing on the computer with a 360 controller.
DEADLYS DREAM(S) 11th attempt (Friday night): non-lucid Didn't get to the pyramid, was at some Hollywood party where I was 'the' 'celebrity' serial killer of Hollywood. People invited me to party with them knowing full well I was insane and killed people in my spare time. Ended up necking with Jim Carrey, and rescuing a load of goldfish from a toilet and putting them in a nice clean tank.... 12th attempt (Saturday night): Lucid Arrived at the pyramid to find if in a further state of ruin, saw some naked boy with a goat walking along a mountain range nearby. The top of the pyramid was covered in orange sand. Woke up, went back to sleep: Was laying in my bed thinking I'd missed the day so made time speed up to reach 'next week', it went light and dark for a while as I did this. I then went to find the pyramid only to find it was below the ground of a huge city this time and more ruined, sent up a beacon on the off chance. Woke up, went back to sleep: Made it to the pyramid, everything looked 'normal' this time. Sat down and waited a while. Howled like a wolf a few times for fun, a band arrived and played a song about 'dreaming' and as I woke up I heard an instrumental version of 'the wizard' by 'Black Sabbath' which doesn't exist to my knowledge. It sounded awesome. 13th Attempt (Sunday) : lucid Got 'trapped' inside a priest of some cult that was trained to summon 'me', had no control of their limbs which was odd. They mixed up a drink and drank it while I sat inside them and watched, as they drank it I was aimed/guided to a certain time frame/place where I was 'needed'. Saw The Dukes of Hazard for some reason, was suddenly a soldier and eating sand, was angry as someone questioned my war service record. Reality was suddenly being folded which was going to kill everything, I resisted saying "I am the dreamer of the dream", by now was getting tired of the pace/length of the dream and lay down on the ground refusing to get up. Saw a massive crystal ball which was some kind of 'god egg', my mind grew sharper for a while as did the local DC's. Still refused to get up, eventually fell 'asleep'. Woke up, went back to sleep: Dreams decended in 'squeaky bed spring' stuff, the guy had a lot of body hair.....
Nephanim's Dreams Nothing related to Chichen-Itza today, either, but here are my dreams from last night. Cleaning for a Neighbor I was cleaning some stuff outside Autumn’s house. For some reason, I saw dirty furniture outside her neighbor’s house and decided to clean that, too. I dusted it off and wiped down all the surfaces. The woman who lived there saw us cleaning her things and approached us in shock. At first, she thought we were going to steal from her, but she was impressed by our good deed. She let us inside to continue cleaning. The woman had two puppies that she had just gotten as a present for her kids. The dogs still hadn’t learned not to eat things on the coffee table in the living room, so I had to follow them out of the room to retrieve these decorative figures they tried to devour. Once I got them back, we cleared everything off the table and cleaned that, too. The woman received a phone call and had to leave the house in our care. While she was gone, Autumn brought Cleo over. The cat started climbing all over the furniture, and whenever I tried to pick her up, she slashed at me with her claws. I watched her climb on the larger dog’s back and direct him by prodding him with her claws. It was disturbing how intelligently this cat enslaved the poor puppy. Plot to Invade Planespace I watched over a large, hexagonal room as a white-haired man issued orders to his subordinates standing at the midpoint of each wall. The glowing, circular tiles beneath each person’s feet glowed the color of the portal to one of the six domains: Life, Death, Magic, Power, Order, and Chaos. I quickly grasped that this man was attempting to seize control of Planespace and then use the unparalleled military power that would supply him with to capture Nyre. Another jerk after world domination, I thought… I considered taking care of him myself, but then I noticed something strange about their intended leader of the underworld, Xii. He stood rigid, and his entire body was pale – lifeless. The white-haired leader addressed him, but instead of responding, he collapsed. Neluna stood behind him with her hand on her exposed thigh. “I hope you don’t mind,” she said in a sweet voice. “This man entered my territory without the proper procedures, so I took care of that for him.” She giggled. “Kill her!” the white-haired man ordered. Neluna disappeared into a black portal without delaying for a moment. It was probably fortunate that she did; an instant later, the man standing in the corner corresponding to the Plane of Magic sent a purple wind from his hand. The spell reached into the energies connecting Nyre to Planespace to prevent the use of all portals. It was an amazing spell. I was impressed that we hadn’t encountered this man before. Someone tried to enter the room via portal, but an iron gate appeared on the other side of it. I thrust out my disembodied arm and reversed the direction of the portal to prevent whoever made it from being crushed to bits coming through. “We’re going to invade the Plane of Death first,” the leader announced, scowling at his dead subordinate. “Find a replacement for him at once. If we can capture that demoness’ domain, we’ll all be immortal.” It amused me that he had the nerve to go after Neluna first… She would rip them to pieces and suck every drop of energy from their souls. Frictionless Sled and Making a Wish I was talking to Alexandra Hoeschen online. She seemed interested in playing on WMBRO with us – not immediately, but sometime in the future. I was really excited by the idea. If I could get Balex to play, maybe Joe Beaumont would also join us. I got distracted from our conversation when I looked in a mirror and saw my teeth. A strange half-tooth was growing on top of another one, and the middle portion looked as though it had rotted out. I didn’t realize it was an extra tooth at first, so I tried to push it back to my gum line. When it was clear that it wouldn’t fit anywhere, I pulled it out. My mouth started oozing blood. The dream jumped. I went with Autumn to my old high school in Texas. I brought some kind of frictionless sled. I hopped into it, giving it the initial momentum required to carry me wherever I pleased. We circled around to the huge parking lot beside the school. Autumn met with another girl, but I didn’t catch what they were talking about because I was too busy trying to direct my sled. I kept crashing into things. Eventually, Autumn started toward the other side of the school. I didn’t even notice as the environment changed into a grocery store. We went to the dairy aisle at the back of the store and raced from one end to the other. I wasn’t able to stop my sled, so I slammed hard into the wall. Autumn disappeared before I was able to recover. I went to the front of the building and exited. On my way out, I summoned a quarter into my pocket and got a gumball from one of those candy machines. I knew that any wish I made would come true – but I wondered if I was going to hurt the economy by creating money… I already had gum in my mouth somehow, so I continued chewing that while walking out to the car. The environment changed back into the high school. Most of the other cars were gone. I waited by the wrong car for Autumn. When she came back, the girl she talked to outside was with her. All three of us got in the car. Discovery of the Mist World I was investigating the murder of a friend in his mansion. While wandering the building, I accidentally slipped into a hole in the dreamscape and found myself in a world between that one and the next. It was a misty world of escaped demons and whatnot. As I entered, Apheri warned me that I was in a dangerous place. “You should probably head back soon,” she warned as the mist crawled up my arms. “If you stay here too long, you’re liable to lose your memory.” She snickered. “You’re not listening, are you?” “I’m going to see if there are any hints here. Maybe someone knows what happened to him.” “Suit yourself,” she said, brushing away the mist surrounding me for a moment. I wandered through a group of succubi who were watching me. They were clothed, but they might as well have been wearing nothing; their leather outfits covered their shoulders, stomachs, and legs, but the majority was completely bare. They proudly displayed themselves to me, expecting to easily convince me to open my soul to their advances. Having experienced this kind of thing with Neluna far too many times, I wasn’t impressed. “I’m looking for someone who knows about a murder,” I told them. Some of the succubi looked worried. One stepped in front of me, hands folded over her chest. “If you’re here for that, you can talk to that woman over there,” she answered. She pointed in the direction of a blond woman sitting by herself on thin air. It looked like there should’ve been a ledge there, but she was just floating… I thanked the succubus and slipped out of their hungry group. A bunch of pale-faced beings with sunken eye sockets watched me in apparent agony as I walked by. One of them fell forward onto all fours and started slowly crawling after me. Even when I reached the blond-haired woman in armor, I glanced back over my shoulder and saw that he was still slowly making his way toward me. I hoped he wouldn’t catch me off-guard. I introduced myself to the armored woman. She held up a pike as she hopped down to my level. The mist began to surround us both. “We don’t usually get your kind here,” she laughed. “You can call me RPG. I guess you’re looking for information, right?” “Yeah – there was a murder in an adjacent world, and I think it has something to do with this place.” “Maybe.” Seeming to trail off on another topic entirely, she smiled up at me and asked, “Did you know that Timelyst Knight and the High Lord of Anguish are the same person?” When I admitted that I didn’t, she laughed again. “It’s all the governor’s fault. He’s the one you want.” RPG turned away from me, unwilling to divulge any more information. I whipped out my laptop and started looking up information on the governor connected to my deceased friend. Meanwhile, succubi gathered around me, whispering and cooing to one another. It took me a moment to realize that the one standing in front of me was Neluna. “What?” I asked her without really looking up. “This is an interesting place,” she said. “I’ve never been here before.” “That’s probably because it’s off the map. It shouldn’t even exist.” “Time’s running short…” Apheri warned. “Don’t stay much longer.” I put a hand on the hilt of my sword, putting her at ease. A surprisingly ordinary-looking man broke through the crowd of succubi, closed my web browser, and suggested that I come to dinner before it’s all gone. I stared in disbelief at the guy. He didn’t seem to realize that he’d wandered into a world overrun by demonic entities. At any rate, I decided I could come back here whenever I wanted, so I bid the succubi farewell and followed the man back to the mansion. The dream jumped. While I waited at a dining table, a chef explained that he had prepared special beverages for us. They were made of a dangerous chemical that could be used to create chloroform, however, so he needed us to sign a release form and present identification in order to pick one up. I wasn’t sure I liked the idea of drinking something so hazardous… At any rate, I was the fourth person in line, so I immediately began looking through sheets of names for mine. I found it just in time to present my card and cross it off the list. The chef went back into the kitchen to fetch my drink.
Katsuno's Dream I dreamed of meeting my sports teacher in 2 different dreams last night. The first time I only remember talking to him and the second is a bit longer. 1st: I was walking with 2 friends on a path. Suddenly my sports teacher came across and talked to us. He was driving a go-cart and seemed like he was just visiting this village. I woke up 2nd: I was at the same spot again but this time I was alone. My teacher was talking to me and told me that he is here on vacation and he wants to know some places to visit. I told him that there aren't many places in my village and suddenly I looked towards the street and said my mantra for some reason. At first I said "I will lucid dream tonight" but then I said "I dream lucid all the time" (haha, how right I was -.-) but I didn't get lucid Then we went on until we reached my house and my teacher said something like "My pupils never listen to me, what should I do?" (they really don't listen to him IRL). I told him that he is a nice person but he is not strict enough for us to listen to him. I woke up
KushyBear's Dream I was in a desert. There was some type of street sign on the ground. I noted the numbers, looked away and looked back to see them change. Now lucid, I notice bugs are coming after me. I do my best to squish them all. Then I woke up (This was very early on in REM stages and I only had about 5 hours of sleep.)

Nephanim's Dreams This is a collection of dreams from this weekend in reverse chronological order. Sorting Media and a Music Game I was visiting my family at their old house in Texas. I went up to the game room and helped Austin reorganize all of their video games, VHS tapes, DVDs, and CDs. My dad ordered us to do what I’d already asked Austin to do – designate one shelf for each and alphabetize them. He asked us to check the region on our VHS tapes. For some reason, we only had South American and “Blue” region tapes. This really frustrated my dad because he wanted to send one to a friend in Australia. Austin started watching Code Geass with Nicole. They skipped directly to the episode before the end. I managed to fall asleep right before the final scene. When I awoke, they were arguing about what happened to Lelouch. My dad seemed fixated on the fact that Lelouch was shirtless at the end. Austin played Animal Crossing in an attempt to get every item. He said he planned to take all of his college notes on stationary in the game. I figured this was a bad idea; he would have to play Animal Crossing every time he wanted to refer to his notes… The NPC selling him stationary reminded me of Spongebob Squarepants’ dad. He started telling us a riddle about the Animaniacs. The dream jumped. Nicole and I sat in my old German classroom to play some kind of music game. Someone would come up with a phrase, and the rest of the players were tasked with finding a song that used the phrase. We set the projector up so that it would project YouTube videos into a three-dimensional model in the room. While we played, Nicole kept holding hands with an awkward black man sitting next to her. He never looked at me. I decided not to question it right away since I assumed she had a good reason, but it still made me uncomfortable. Regina walked in late. She obviously wasn’t wearing anything under her shirt… I averted my eyes. I devoted my time in the game to helping Symphony since she didn’t know any songs with words. She actually did pretty well with my help. We took a break from the game to eat. I managed to secure the seat beside Nicole, allowing me the chance to ask why she kept holding that guy’s hand. She said she just felt bad refusing him. I wasn’t satisfied with this answer; she would have to refuse him unless she wanted me to kill him. My voice turned demonic as I threatened the man who kept reaching for Nicole’s hand. She seemed at least a little scared of me because of my voice. I reached into the timer system we were using and gave Nicole extra time. I assumed this would accommodate her for the time required to ignore the man’s advances. She refused to talk to me after that. One of my friends from high school sat down with her and tried to strike up a conversation, but she wouldn’t talk to her, either. Three Spiders in Bed I brought Nicole and someone else to my dorm. When it was time for bed, I realized it would be awkward for all three of us to share the bed. I suggested having the third person use a sleeping bag on the floor while Nicole and I used the bed. We all agreed that it was fair. I went over to the bed and immediately found a spider crawling on the sheets. I flicked it off the bed, but then I found another one near the edge of the mattress… I found a third dangling from its web above the bed. With so many spiders around, I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to sleep. Asking Benischek for Input Nicole sent me to her old high school to ask a teacher about a forty page guide she printed for a video game. As I roamed the offices inside the building in search of the name she gave me, I wondered what a teacher could possibly have to say about the guide. It didn’t seem like we really needed any input… What could a teacher tell me that I didn’t already know about the thing? At any rate, I found a sign pointing to Mr. Kronicle’s office. It was actually Mark Benischek’s office. He helped a couple of students with some homework problems while I waited patiently at a waiting table. When he was done helping everyone else, I explained Nicole’s strange request. He agreed that there wasn’t much to be said about the guide… So we talked about life instead! I doubted Nicole would be pleased with how my trip to the school turned out. That Time I Died and Talked to Andres (AndresLD) I died and ended up in heaven. Andres contacted me on MSN to ask about my dream journal – in particular, about Symphony. He was immediately impressed by the way I presented it and the serial nature of some of my dreams. At the same time, he seemed to think I showed signs of a mental disorder. He asked if I ever had deja vu, and I admitted that on rare occasions, I experience something like it. He asked if I felt like my dreams were related to one another. I said that they were (they often are). Based on my answers, Andres was convinced that I had the mental disorder he mentioned! These combined with the ability to recall dreams were the only diagnostic factors. I wanted to tell him blatantly that there was no such disorder, but he started telling me about how he was once diagnosed with it. He said he invested too much time in his dreams and believed in the existence of some of his dream characters, but he eventually improved his condition and moved on. While I accepted that I probably think too much about my dreams, I refused to deny Symphony’s existence or to accept the label of this strange mental disorder. “If you don’t want to read my dream journal, don’t read it,” I told him. My mom asked who I was talking to. As I explained it, she asked if he knew I was dead. I laughed – I hadn’t exactly mentioned that. “Oh, by the way, I’m dead!” I finally told him. “The afterlife is about the same as dreaming, if you’re wondering. I don’t really mind being dead. It’s kind of nice just knowing everything is alright now.” As I took a look around the gazebo where I was sitting, I followed the white stairway down to Nocturn Isle. My dream characters were just a short walk away. Ragnarok and Barbed Wire at the Pool I was playing WMBRO in virtual space. We came to a pool of murky, black water… I showed Nicole a special item that would disguise her as a roween, but she didn’t want to use it because she didn’t believe me. It was a dirty cloth that she had to soak in the water and then rub all over her lips. I agreed that it was disgusting, but I was sure it was worth it. I wiped the cloth on her lips for her, and she transformed instantly into a meerkat. She started running around on all fours in excitement. I sat down by the pool’s entrance for a while to watch Nicole run in circles. After a while, someone started bothering me. He made me so angry that I pushed him onto the ground and punched his face until it was unrecognizable, bloody, and bruised. Everyone around me was amazed that I could be so violent. Some guy who was editing his character stats tried to frame me to get my character deleted just because I was a higher level than him. Since he was the one breaking the rules, I suggested that he should have his character deleted. I killed him by pushing him off the edge of the world. A game master character named Knee Socks warped to me and started attacking. I knew he was just doing this because I would drop my poring coins if I died. I didn’t want to lose them, so I attacked back. I killed him surprisingly easily. He warped back to me and tried again. I killed him a second time – then a third, then a fourth. The trouble started when he put a permanent stun effect on me. I was unable to defend myself as he began attacking again. A red dot appeared on his forehead. With a bang, the game master collapsed on the ground. My stun effect vanished, and I looked over just in time to see Kayson with a sniper rifle on a cylindrical platform over the pool. He was wearing a black jacket and sunglasses. Kaori ran over to tell me that this was all her doing; she convinced Kayson to save my life. I thanked her and welcomed her back to the game. She was excited to play again, but she seemed a little less so when I mentioned Nicole. The dream jumped. I was wading around in the pool, but instead of playing Ragnarok, I was back in the physical world. Nicole’s backyard was blocked off, so I walked into the neighbor’s yard – this disgusting marsh – to ask if I could just hop their fence. Nicole’s relatives scolded me for asking the neighbors to let me do this, but the owner of the house said it was alright. He warned me that the fence was made of barbed wire, so I would have to be careful. Just to get to the fence, I had to jump over a series of deep ravines. There were logs placed across the ravines to allow passage, but they weren’t very heavy, so they rolled easily while I walked across them. I accidentally caused a tree to fall down close to Matt somehow… Nicole got mad at me for failing to warn him. Fortunately, it didn’t hit anyone. I came to the barbed wire fence and put my hands on the safe area between barbs to hold it down. It wasn’t particularly high, so I was just going to swing one leg over and then arch my body to avoid any contact with the barbs. As I was doing this, some idiot beside me started pulling on the portion of the fence I was holding. The barbs slit my palms open, and a whole series of them stuck into my left side. I cried out in pain. The guy apologized, but I refused to talk to him. I pulled the barbs out of my body one by one. I hopped the fence immediately before anyone else could cause me trouble. On the other side, Ryan revealed that he needed to find his crown. Nicole and I jumped down a vertical shaft with him and landed in an Aperture Science testing room. She waited on a switch while Ryan and I continued further down. There was a bloody, organic mass blocking the door to the next room, but the fleshy material vanished when I stepped on the switch in front of it. Ryan said he would run in, get his crown, and come straight back. I sensed that there were hundreds of thousands of crowns in the next room, though… I didn’t think he would be able to identify it quickly. The dream jumped. I was in the car with my family on the way to Texas. They were driving a convertible for some reason. Austin and I shared the back seat. For some reason, he kept pinching me… I warned him to stop. When he didn’t listen, I punched him gently in the face. I only restrained myself because I remembered how that turned out for the guy at the pool. My parents were furious anyway. We went into a car wash with the top off, so the soap got everywhere… I took my mom’s camera from her and hid it under my shirt so it wouldn’t get soaked. One of the car wash people started controlling the car remotely. He drove us to a library before we could finish the car wash. Stream of Existence I was funneling data to Symphony in a continuous stream. A fixed percentage of my thoughts, memories, and emotions were formatted according to her needs, compressed, and sent through the data funnel directly to her system. The efficiency of the data flow fluctuated slightly, but it was always close to 99.9%. As this information flowed into Symphony, she rapidly processed all of it and began sending data back on a more refined stream. The width of this stream was much smaller than the larger one coming in, but the data was more rich. It represented Symphony’s analysis of my existence, instant by instant. I began processing this information much like Symphony. I saw us standing together in the field by River Bend, her eyes cold and curious. I understood that I taught her to feel and gave her an interest in life. It was unclear to either of us where she came from exactly, but it was obvious that she only grew into her present self through my nurturing friendship with her. Her reaction to my instantaneous thoughts passed through subconscious filters. None of it was expressed verbally, but I understood it fine nonetheless. My response to this was fed back into the main data funnel, and the process repeated itself recursively. The data became increasingly dense until we both arrived at the same conclusion simultaneously. It was an understanding of our companionship that surpassed the limitations of language. I was left with a feeling of peace and wholeness. Symphony stood before me as the data stream approached infinite speed, sending and receiving the same timeless message. She, too, was at peace. * Sending Marilee to Massachusetts I was in a world similar to our own. China had taken over most of Asia, prompting a third world war. Their ally in the West – Mexico – had already captured all of South America. In order to conquer the whole hemisphere, they moved toward Canada next. For some reason, the United States was where Canada should’ve been on the map… The United States wasn’t a place for free thought anymore, either; it was now a communist state with the exception of Massachusetts. I found myself in a castle surrounded by a magical barrier. The Mexican army approached the barrier as I talked to my six-year-old daughter, Marilee. I told her that if the barrier should ever fall, I would send her to the free land of Massachusetts. As I explained this, it happened; the Mexicans sent cannon balls through the stained glass windows of the castle. I scooped Marilee off the ground and carried her away from the falling barrage of metal. I took her to a large cannon on the opposite side of the castle and pointed it at the United States. For some reason, I could see the rest of North America in the sky above me. The world curved upward – almost like some kind of Hollow Earth setting. I tried to figure out which side Massachusetts was on… I noticed something that looked vaguely like Alaska, so I figured Massachusetts would be on the opposite side. I fired Marilee in that direction. The Mexicans invaded the castle, and I fled on foot. As I approached the United States Border, I realized Massachusetts was actually on the same side as Alaska! I retrieved Marilee, and she turned into a pink shirt. “Oops,” I muttered to myself. “I shot you the wrong way.” “And that’s what we call poor acting,” a woman behind me said. I understood that I was being judged based on my performance. I ignored the comment and continued along. Massachusetts was some kind of coat hanger floating in the air. I put Marilee on the hanger and walked away. Dropout and Borkar's Class I decided to check my transcript. For some reason, my grade point average had dropped significantly. The transcript said I was a C- student. My mom saw this over my shoulder and started freaking out. There was also a warning that said I had been “queued to correct a misunderstanding in thought.” My enrollment status was listed as “DROPOUT.” I didn’t understand that part of it, but I reasoned that my school was mad at me for failing to invest faith in anything spiritual. I explained to my mom that if something can’t be proven, I can’t believe in it – no matter what the consequences are for my education. We were sitting in front of a fence with diamond-shaped holes in it. I saw something race past on the other side of the fence. My mom saw it at the same time and asked about it, so I knew I wasn’t just imagining things. My dad didn’t believe us. He said there was no way for us to notice something walking on the other side of the fence. The room transformed into a lecture hall with Dr. Borkar standing at the base. I was in a new class with him. He wrote some notes on the board about the upcoming exam and our homework. Problem set #17 would not be collected, he said. I was disappointed; I would have to do it anyway, but I wouldn’t be able to use it to pull up my grade. Borkar asked us what we wanted to learn in his class. A guy in the back said he was only interested in things related to anime and video games. Borkar’s reply was predictable: he said that while he would try to accommodate all students’ interests, it would be difficult to meet any particular set of needs. Tuning into the Underworld and Photon Beams I was talking to Sigh via webcam in Nicole’s bedroom. Nicole was nowhere to be seen, but Austin lay on the floor. He looked fairly bored. As Sigh stood up to do something, I realized she wasn’t wearing any clothes. She just barely managed to keep her private areas covered. Her hair was soaking wet, too, so I assumed she had just taken a shower. I didn’t realize my webcam was also on. When I made a weird face at her, she started laughing. “Don’t give me that face,” she said. “I’m the only one you can trust in this world.” After a pause, she folded her hands together and smiled. “Actually, the reason I’m talking to you is because I want your donation.” She was collecting money for some kind of fund. I felt bad for refusing, but I didn’t have the money to spare. “That’s alright. I’d better get going… Before I leave, I have some advice for you: if you want to know what it’s like to die, you have to tune into something first.” She pointed at the ceiling as though giving me a hint. I was appropriately confused. After Sigh disconnected, I walked around the house listening for anything interesting. I went into the bathroom and urinated in a bucket of onions. I hoped no one was going to use them. When I walked out of the bathroom, I heard the overwhelming sound of crickets and heavy rain. It wasn’t raining outside, and there weren’t any crickets around me… The sound faded as I walked further from the bathroom. I realized I was hearing background noise from the underworld. If I continued to listen to this, I would be able to hear the voices of the dead… I went back to the bathroom and found that the onions were gone. Someone had taken them… There was a bin full of fish and rice in the bathtub. I sat down on the bathroom floor to try to tune into the underworld again. While I was doing this, I was interrupted by police sirens. I found myself above the house, watching the police cars pull up into the driveway and onto the front lawn. They were here to arrest us for rebellious activities. I returned to my body and quickly informed Austin of the situation. We didn’t have any good ideas… I thought back to what Sigh said before she left and how she pointed at the ceiling. Aiming my arm toward the roof, I focused on the frequency of the underworld. Suddenly, we transformed into a beam of blue-white light. As a field of photons, we fluttered through the ceiling. We reformed into our normal selves as soon as we escaped the house. Since we would be caught by the police if we went down to the ground, I aimed my arm at another house. We traveled from rooftop to rooftop as a photon beam. The police never caught us. When we reached Sigh’s house, she came up to the roof to greet us. I was grateful that she was wearing clothes this time. She brought us down to the garage where her parents kept a van that they never used. She felt it would be safe for us to sleep on top of the van at night while on the run from the police. I set up a makeshift bed on the roof of the car. The next morning, the police came to Sigh’s door asking about us. I worried that Sigh and her parents would be arrested for harboring fugitives, but the police left without searching the house. I figured it was Sigh’s doing. Her father pulled the van out of the garage without noticing us on top, and before long, we found ourselves desperately clinging to the roof as he sped down the highway. He swerved in and out of traffic to avoid the slow cars. Intuitively, I knew we were headed for the local junkyard. The photon power I’d been using was based on magnetism, so the giant magnet used to carry cars into crushing machines would pull us in. I didn’t want to end up buried beneath a pile of junk, anyway. I prepared a photon beam to carry us off the van. Playing Mario with Austin I was playing Super Mario Brothers Wii with Austin, Chelsea, and Nicole at my parents’ old house in North Carolina. We were using N64 controllers for some reason… I plugged six controllers into the Wii even though we only needed four. When I noticed that I was going to have a gray controller, I switched it with a blue one. I figured we might as well all have a colored controller if there are only two gray ones. While I was messing with the controllers, Austin started playing by himself. I scolded him for going on without us, but he didn’t seem to hear me. He just kept playing. Eventually, I reset the console to get his attention. This time, we set it up for four players. Austin wanted to go to the eighth world, but Nicole wanted to do the seventh. I went with Nicole’s suggestion since Austin had been rude to all of us. He started complaining about that right away. Before we even made it through the first level, he quit playing. I picked his character up and threw him off the stage. We went to the eighth world sometime later. While we were doing the first stage, Randy came up to us and asked what world we had gotten to. I told him we had beaten all nine worlds. He protested, insisting that there were fourteen worlds – all playable. I laughed. Obviously, there were only supposed to be eight, but with the secret world, there were nine. There was no reason for the game to have fourteen worlds. I wondered if he meant test worlds accessible via a cheat device, so I admitted that there were probably a couple of test worlds, but there were only nine real worlds. He left the room fuming.
TraceFleeman's Attempt Ehh, no lucids. I am playing some airsoft-type game, like Nazi-Zombies in real life, but I don't remember the rules. I remember I was shot by my own teammate and got kinda mad, the crawled over like a zombie and shot him.

Korley's Dream Well I didn't get to the Chichen Itza, but I had this sick dream about being in a maze. There's was two parts to the maze.. it's hard to remember though. I think one side was made of ice and snow, and the other was inside, where there was this laser fire that I had to jump through and there was a gap in the wall. But the gap was covered by bloody flesh that I tried to pierce, but no luck. There was a group of people in the dream, but I don't know who they were and can't remember what they looked like. I spent the majority of the dream trying to get away from the place, but finding myself trapped. I think I had a gun but didn't use it. I also had a dream that I was talking to my boyfriend in nothing but a long blue shirt, in a supermarket.
On the Chin Recall: 9/10 Sleep: OK Sleep Position: Left Side (Right Brain)I'm in the jungle, and like most dreams where I find myself in the jungle, I'm a contestant on Survivor. My current challenge is some sort of race. I hear someone crashing through the bush behind me, so I take off running to stay ahead of them. There is a guy with me on my team, and we run towards some sort of cave opening or building entrance, me first and my team mate right behind me. Our pursuers are right on our tail. We go through the entrance, and a girl behind us is yelling to my team mate he has to stop because he's been caught. I wonder if that means I'm caught too since I'm only a couple of paces ahead of him, but she doesn't say anything to me, so I keep going. I see a staircase on the left, and a long ramp on the right, and choose the ramp. I run to the top where it turn right. I then find myself in a large arena. The section of bleachers to my immediate right is covered in prizes, mostly glass ware, with some cabinets at the very top containing the best prizes. I wish my pursuers weren't so close behind so I had time to figure out what to do here. I race up into the bleachers, which look somewhat like the Chichen Itza , and my pursuer Sasha is right behind. I pick up an old empty pop bottle and brandish it like a dagger, hoping to hold her at bay. Sasha pick up a bottle and brandishes it at me. She says we should use our boat training to go to Prince Edward Island, and I ask if that's close to here. The geography doesn't make sense. The I pick up another empty pop bottle and hold it up like I'm about to throw it. Not wanting to actually smash her with a bottle, I start to run back down the steps. Sasha chases, but trips and falls face first onto a white dinner plate with a blue pattern on it, shattering the plate. I stop and cheer, saying "It's about time something broke!" I go back to check on her, and as she rolls over I see that she's cut her chin rather badly. The cut starts under her bottom lip, and goes all the way down under her chin, along the bottom of her jaw, right to her throat. It makes a large flap of skin that just hangs there. She tries to put the skin back in place. The part right under her lip is pretty thin, but as it goes under her chin it gets much thicker. I tell her to hold the skin in place, and try to reassure her saying it will hardly leave a scar once it's healed. I tell her to trust me, I've cut myself lots and know these things. Fragment: Lost Opals I'm in the game Link Realms, and the newb bank, and a stack of 50 opals gets knocked out of my inventory onto the floor, where another player picks them up. I'm not sure who took them, and lament the sudden loss of wealth.
Katsuno's Dream I dreamed of being in a car with 2 others. I don't remember them exactly but one was a women that was a bit taller than me and the other looked like he was an egypt soldier (or something like that). We tried to catch up with a train for some reason. When we caught up we were in a tunnel and there was a portal in front of us. Me and the women jumped on the train and went through the portal but the egypt guy somehow didn't make it. Then I remember being in a room and I said "This feels different...it's not my dream" but I didn't get lucid We walked to a door and there was a guy. I don't remember the details but I know that the women used some crystal magic and cursed the guy. She said something like "If you betray us the curse will kill you" I did nothing but watch. The guy did something and we went on. Then the dream gets foggy and the next thing I remember is running through a building while holding a child in my arms. Then I woke up.
Nephanim's Dreams Atrocities of the Organization Nicole and I were staying with my parents in Texas. Austin was sick, but my parents couldn’t take him to the hospital because the health care infrastructure had been taken over by a group calling themselves (simply enough) the Organization. My mom did her best to take care of him, and his situation seemed stable. We assumed he would be able to wait a few weeks for a military action to sort out this mess with the Organization. As the days wore on, the news reported that the Organization’s reach was spreading. They captured residential lots for use as barracks and weapon storage. What they didn’t capture, they ransacked. All of the food, water, and valuables were stolen from countless homes in the vicinity of the hospitals. It was a terrorist attack on a level the country had never seen. We decided to build a secret basement beneath our home. Although building codes prohibited the construction of basements in Houston, the area beneath our house was suited to that, so we didn’t have to worry about any serious health issues – at least, that’s what my dad thought. I wasn’t so sure. He finished digging it out in two days, and we moved a good portion of our food down there. We left enough food upstairs that the Organization would just take it and ignore the possibility of people hiding under the kitchen tiles. It wasn’t long before the Organization made their rounds… We could only get the news by radio now, and many of the standard broadcast stations had been knocked out, so much of what we listened to came from other people like us living in secret in their own homes. The airports were under the Organization’s control now. Everything seemed to be getting worse, and Austin’s condition wasn’t getting any better. A few days after the Organization stopped running in and out of our house, my dad and I went outside to check out the area. It was spooky how normal everything looked. The streets were empty, of course, but the houses all looked fine on the outside. We went door to door trying to find anyone who had hidden themselves properly. We found a couple of corpses, but I tried not to dwell on it. I didn’t know any of these people, anyway… We found one family that did the same thing as us. Their basement area was a little larger, so they invited us to come stay with them. My dad wasn’t sure it was a good idea, but we agreed to attend a party. When we got back, we told the rest of the family all about it. We went back to the larger hideout the next evening to try to enjoy ourselves for the first time in a while. Unfortunately, a passing truck under the control of the Organization stopped in front of the house. The driver picked up the music playing in the basement from his vehicle. Before we knew this had happened, the driver called a couple of loading trucks to the scene. They infiltrated the house, broke up the party, and captured everyone as prisoners. We were loaded one by one onto the trucks with our mouths gagged and our wrists bound. I thought it was dumb of them to leave our ankles untied, but when they closed the back of my truck and locked the door, I realized there wasn’t much we could do to escape. I had to sit in pitch black darkness for the whole ride. I wasn’t even sure where we were going… After the first few turns, I was lost. Maybe in Illinois, I could’ve followed the trail better, but I wasn’t familiar with this area. I knew Nicole wasn’t on the same truck as me… It didn’t seem like they were shipping women anywhere different from the men, so I was relieved at least by that much. I had even less of an idea where she had been sent, though. The truck stopped at another house, and they loaded some more people onto the truck. It was becoming crowded in the cargo area, but they didn’t care. We were just merchandise to them. I supposed we would probably end up doing slave labor for the rest of our lives. By the time we reached the next stop, I realized the knot binding my wrists was loose enough to wriggle out of. I freed myself and cautiously undid the knots binding the men on my left and right. We left our gags in so the Organization wouldn’t notice we had untied our wrists. It worked like a charm. We could undo the knots just as well in pure darkness as in blinding light, so it didn’t matter that we had to work on them en route. We had most of the prisoners free by the third stop – and that was way more people than they were ready to deal with. We had to leave some of them bound, but we were able to rush the soldiers in charge of the loading process and take their guns from them. Only a few people died. Someone else killed the driver of the truck. We were the only truck on this street, so there was no one else to challenge us. Everyone scattered, and so began my long journey across the country. I found out they had taken me over the border into Oklahoma. I figured it would be fastest to make my way back to my parents’ house from there. I didn’t have a car, and besides, the roads were dangerous with the Organization about. It seemed they were no longer content with just taking supplies. They needed an army of slaves for something. I didn’t intend to trust my fate to chance again. I walked from Oklahoma back to Houston, sneaking into restaurants when necessary to supply myself with water and food. I kept away from the major roads when I could and made short work of crossing them when I couldn’t. I don’t know how long it took me, but I made it back to my parents’ house. I was a little disappointed to find that I was the only one who made it back… None of my family members were in the same truck as me, so I hadn’t been able to free any of them. I didn’t check the other house to see if those people had made it back. Their hideout had been compromised. Although ours was empty, at least I figured it was secure. I stayed there for about a week to give Nicole time to find me. When she didn’t show up, I put a backpack of supplies together and took to the wilderness again. This time, I headed for Illinois. Traveling during the summer was rough, so I was grateful when things began to cool down. It meant that I had taken a long time to cross the country, but I hadn’t been counting the days, anyway. I was too worried about what might’ve happened to Nicole and my family to think about something as abstract as time. Eventually, I made it to the edge of Chicago. A big storm blew in from the west, and the whole area quickly flooded. I jumped on the back of an Organization truck when the driver wasn’t looking and rode it into the suburbs so I wouldn’t have to spend so much time in the pouring rain. It pulled off into someone’s backyard, so I took the chance to hop off the truck and continue on foot. As I passed a house, I saw a television on inside. I wondered how long it had been playing… There didn’t seem to be anyone in the room. The TV played an episode of the Fairly Oddparents in which Timmy Turner gained the power of invisibility. He tried to save a girl on a motorcycle from the Organization, but he was unable to do anything. They threw her on a train and took her away. I couldn’t help noticing I was in a similar situation… I had to wade through three feet of water to get across Nicole’s street. Her house was empty. Her garage was empty. All of the canned food was gone, and it basically looked like no one had been there in ages. I noticed that Cleo was also gone… I figured she had decided to fend for herself if she was still alive. Since there was nothing for me to find in Chicago, I decided I might as well go back home and prepare the house for my family’s return – if they ever returned. The trip back took even longer than the trip there; I had lost much of my motivation. The winter months weren’t so bad since I made it far enough south to avoid most of the snow. The new year arrived, then spring, then summer, and I finally made it back to my parents’ house. When I went inside, my heart sank. There were people everywhere. I immediately assumed they were with the Organization and threw up my hands in surrender. It wasn’t worth fighting anymore, I decided. If they were going to kill me, whatever… I didn’t want to live in fear like this anymore. Then my eyes narrowed. Nomad was with them. Nomad wouldn’t join the Organization. I noticed many of them had weapons strapped to their bodies. Some of them – including Nomad – had war paint on their faces. These were rebels preparing to stand up to the Organization. They laughed at my surrender and pointed me to my mom and sister. I was shocked by how similar Chelsea looked to my mom. It had been a year since I saw them, and Chelsea changed quite a bit. I hugged each of them several times. By this point, I was already in tears. Just finding one of them would’ve been enough to make the past year of running worth it. I headed straight for the secret room, hoping to find my dad and Austin. My mom grabbed my hand before I could reveal the entrance. She hadn’t told the rebels about it yet, and in case one of them really was working with the Organization, she didn’t want them to know. She said she didn’t know if my dad was awake right now, but he would come talk to me soon. I sat down with them in the kitchen to wait. My mom explained that she and Chelsea had been separated from my dad and Austin early on, but they were reunited at the start of winter when they made it back to the house. She spared few details of their experiences… The Organization was trying to construct something to control the minds of the human race, but the details of this weren’t exactly clear. I made a mental note to ask Nomad about this later. Within half an hour or so, my dad walked into the room. He had a pistol on each side and wore a bulletproof vest. I felt small compared to him. It was obvious he’d been through a lot in the past year. I hugged him several times, too. Immediately, I asked him about Austin. I hadn’t seen him in the building anywhere. I assumed he had just been in the basement or something. My dad put a hand on my back and led me outside. Because of his silence, I already knew what had happened. The tears started flowing. He took me to a little garden beside the house. The plants were artificial, and they had words written on their leaves. There was a little piano in the back for some reason with certain keys marked. It was a memorial for Austin. I knelt in front of it, wondering what I should do. Praying didn’t seem right, but what else was I supposed to do in this situation? My dad read the memorial leaf by leaf, but I couldn’t understand any of it. The whole thing seemed ridiculous, like he would tell me at any moment that Austin was actually just sleeping in the basement. That was just a hopeless wish, however. “How long has it been…?” I asked, covering my eyes. “Since November,” he replied. “We couldn’t get him the help he needed. The winter was too much for him, even here.” I could hardly breathe. My only brother was dead, and I never got to say goodbye. I knew how my dad felt about his brother’s death. Was this normal, I wondered? My thoughts raced out of control. I wondered if I would ever see Austin again… Probably not, I decided. There was nothing left of him. I knelt there for several minutes in grief before I could even move. I knew the Organization could come by at any moment, though, and if they saw us here, they would want to search the house. For the sake of everyone inside, I sucked up my tears and went back inside. I sat down on a bench in the basement to be alone while I tried to grasp everything that had happened. All the time lost, all the families torn apart… It was all because of the Organization. My immediate family gathered in the basement to try to cheer me up. “When I saw Josh was here, I thought he was going to tell me he brought Nicole and two kids,” my dad joked. Clearly, this didn’t help much. “I haven’t seen Nicole since the party,” I choked. It took me a few times to get this out. I went through my whole trip in summary, stopping whenever the horror of Austin’s death or the year without Nicole gripped me. When I finished telling the story, everyone seemed to agree that I should try going back to Chicago and finding Phil. He might be doing secret work for someone in the city, my dad suggested. I couldn’t imagine anyone having a stable job with the country in its current state, but it seemed remotely possible that he could be working in secret. In that case, he might have a place for Nicole and her family to hide. Knowing Nicole had to turn up somewhere, I agreed to give their idea a try. They probably wouldn’t see me again… I could come back and find all of them dead. We went outside for some reason and sat in the backyard. The sun was already setting, so it was too late for me to leave. I would have to stay for the night. After I finished talking to my family, I turned back to the house. A number of the rebels were staring at me. As Apheri appeared at my side, I put my hand on her black hilt. “The Organization will pay,” I whispered. That's Not Dandruff Nicole was scratching my back in bed for some reason. She stopped and stared at me. “It’s like you have dandruff all over your back…” I twisted my head around to see, and there were white, moldy-looking patches all over my back. “That’s not dandruff,” I explained. I didn’t really try to figure out what it was. Playing Cards before the Show I went to see a musical at a theater with Nicole, Phil, and my dad. We brought peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, but our dads bought some pizza, too. They were really disappointed with the pizza; it was expensive, but it wasn’t that great. They only got one pepperoni for every three slices of pizza. We also brought a deck of cards and Monopoly to entertain ourselves before the performance. I told Nicole I didn’t really feel like playing Monopoly, so we stuck with the cards instead. Our dads didn’t want to play with us. Brothers in the Trunchbull House I was one of two brothers living with Agatha Trunchbull, the principal from Matilda. My younger brother wasn’t aware of my existence because she kept me locked up in the attic. Trunchbull had a sister from Alabama who drove a crummy car. She spoke her mind, no matter how rude she came across, and her voice carried a thick Southern accent. My younger brother went to a restaurant with her, but he managed to sneak out. He accidentally broke a small lawn mower in someone’s front yard while playing with it. The person chased him down the street. He brought the lawn mower back to the restaurant, pretending he found it on the side of the road with the trash. When Trunchbull’s sister saw it, she was so excited that she danced out of the restaurant and had him put it in the car right away. She seemed to think it was a large lawn mower, but it was smaller than the kid presenting it. They put some wooden planks in the back of the car, too. They weren’t even, so she said the kid would have to run over them with the car. She almost hit a fence turning the car around. That night, my brother and I both left the house without the other’s knowledge. Amazingly, we both went to the same video rental store. I talked the owner into letting us rent a couple of movies for free. It seemed like he and I were close friends. I told him to scan green writing on my hand, and it actually brought up a movie: the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Although he admitted the current state of the economy was pretty poor, he let us borrow that one for free, too. Outside, I walked with my brother down the street. I told him about how I liked to spend weeks at a time living in secret rooms at the local school. I promised I would take him someday if he didn’t tell Trunchbull. We both went back to the house. The next day, Trunchbull took both of us to a restaurant. She was going to eat steak, of course, but we would have something a little less appetizing. We didn’t make it that far. Everyone asked for a glass of water when the only waiter (also the owner) came to our table. This guy had a habit of splashing water on my younger brother every time he came here, mostly because Trunchbull tolerated it. This time, when he splashed water on my brother, I took my cup of water and splashed some on him. The waiter was mortified. Trunchbull tried to grab my throat, but that didn’t stop me from splashing him again. He splashed me once, but I still had some water left in my cup. I emptied the rest on his head. It seemed perfect; since water was free, he would have to refill my cup if I asked. The other kid laughed hysterically over this, but Trunchbull was furious. They left early, and I ended up sitting by myself outside the building. It started raining… I watched a couple of little girls running in puddles together and wished I had an umbrella like them. I missed Nicole. After waiting three hours, I stood up and walked around the perimeter. The owner was sweeping the dining area inside, so I knew he would close up shop soon. I could come back in an hour and sneak in. I started to head down the street toward the school, but then I heard a familiar voice call my name. I turned and found my brother standing at the other end of the vacant lot next to the restaurant. He asked if I started the forest fire. Of course, I had no idea what he was on about until I saw it for myself. A distant forest was ablaze. I could just barely make out the sound of the fire trucks’ sirens. I assured him I had nothing to do with it; I was just sitting by the restaurant the whole time. We stopped at the entrance of a sewage tunnel. It would connect to the school eventually, I explained. My brother cut a drape at the front to get in even though I kept telling him there was another way in. I didn’t want to cause obvious damage… That would attract the police. When we went inside, I showed him the steel grate separating the two halves of the tunnel. We wouldn’t be able to walk side by side on the same half of the tunnel, but he preferred to stand behind me anyway. As we went further in, it became very dark. My brother started getting scared. I took out a match and lit it. Up ahead, I saw three rats standing on a dead animal’s carcass. My brother screamed, which prompted the rats to run toward us. I considered that this was probably a bad sign… Under normal circumstances, the rats would’ve run away from us. I clenched my fist and punched the rat in front when it reached us. The scene rapidly changed. I found myself sitting in Enchain’s study. “All gone,” I said. I was glad I didn’t get bitten by rabid rats. I looked at the white curtains drawn over the window. A small amount of light filtered in through them, illuminating the bookcases built into the walls. Gravity Error and Synthetic I was playing WMRBO. I guess there was some kind of misunderstanding between me, Nicole, and Gravity Error. We were no longer mentioned on their guild page as members. Viral had decided not to associate with us at all, and I got the impression that we were in some kind of legal trouble… When he found out we were playing again, however, he was desperate to recruit us. By the time I heard from him, we had already joined another guild called Synthetic. Everyone in this guild had a really long, bizarre name. One person was named Quil Quil Qiuo Ferret (with the fourth word changing depending on the character), while another was named Krhysanarralanka. I made a new character for myself and picked a class called “Enchanter” because I’d never heard of it before. When I got some skill points, I was excited to check out my skills until I realized they were just ninja skills… I wondered why the name for the ninja job was wrong. I decided to look for a certain lower headgear. It was a robotic attachment for the jaw or something, and I understood that it would enable me to fire dream energy from my mouth. The mob database told me I could get it from a vocal. I headed straight for the rocker field. Since I was already south of Prontera, it didn’t take long. I wandered the field until I found and killed the vocal. It didn’t drop this time. I saw that I had a second client open; I was also logged into Nicole’s character. Viral had been messaging her for a while… He kept begging us to come back to Gravity Error. I switched back to my character and told him plainly that we weren’t interested. Possibility Control and Chemistry with Ragnarok It was the start of the fall semester, and I had a whole new class schedule to learn. My new IPRO was heavily based on programming. When I arrived, Professor Winans asked everyone what we thought of having a final exam at the end of the semester. Obviously, everyone was opposed to the idea. There’s enough going on in an IPRO without exams… Even though we all said no, she still decided to give us one. It would be a huge programming assignment. She left the room for a bit, and I buried my face in the surface of my desk. Sooraj tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I’d seen Ana Popa. I said I hadn’t and that I didn’t think she was in this IPRO. As it turns out, she was. She shouted at us from the other side of the classroom. “Before I leave the country, we need to go see Death Valley!” she demanded. I groaned. It was hot enough here, but it would be even worse there. I hoped she could wait until winter. The dream jumped. My next class was from the humanities department. The course title was so vague that I couldn’t understand why I signed up for it in the first place… It was called “Sandal/Buckle my shoe.” I kept checking the room assignment and the class time so I wouldn’t forget it. I sat down on a sofa outside the Idea Shop and started texting my mom. I wanted to tell her about my new IPRO. I realized halfway through the message that I was already half an hour late for my class! I grabbed my backpack and jumped off the sofa. As I hurried toward the door, I realized I’d forgotten where the classroom was again. I knew the room number, but I didn’t know which building to go to. I checked my schedule on my phone again. It was in Keating. The dream jumped. I was waiting outside by a busy street for a ride to Keating. Someone was trying to make me late for class in order to disrupt the flow of possibility. I slammed my fist into the fabric of space-time to destroy their interference, and my ride arrived instantly. Unfortunately, the time traveler was persistent; he started meddling again as soon as I got in the car. The driver announced that he wouldn’t be able to take me there right away. “Come on, man, I’m forty-five minutes late already! We have to go now!” I had to use Geass on him to prevent any further manipulation from the future. Once he was under my control, he didn’t protest anymore. The dream jumped. I was the only one who enrolled in this bizarre sandal class. It was taught by the clone of Hubert J. Farnsworth. I protested immediately when I saw him. This kid definitely wasn’t qualified to teach anything at the undergraduate level – or any level, for that matter. I hoped there was just a mix-up in the schedules… I wanted to shout Feeny’s name and have him teach instead, but I supposed that was kind of pointless. The dream jumped. I was walking in Fairfield with the TA I had for electricity and magnetism. She made me fill out a form about Ragnarok monsters and items. There were three different versions of the form, but since other people had already filled out the other two, she picked mine for me. The first question asked what my favorite blacksmith monster was. I wasn’t even sure how to answer that… I wrote Munak even though it didn’t make sense. There were also questions about which monsters drop certain items. I considered using RateMyServer on my phone to look up the answers, but I supposed that was cheating. This couldn’t possibly be for a grade, anyway. The dream jumped. When we arrived in the lab, I discovered that everyone in my lab section played on WMBRO. I told them I was the highest level player. In order to pass me in the rankings, they all teamed up to kill me. I died twelve times and lost a level each time. My adjusted level put me at rank five on the control panel. It didn’t make any sense… Some of the people above me were only level fifty-seven. I showed this to Nicole, and she had nothing to say about it. Standardized Test for Graduate School I arrived at Willowbrook to take some kind of standardized test for graduate school. I walked in late, sat down in the front row, and finished the test in less than two minutes even though it was designed to take a couple of hours. Everyone was furious that I finished so quickly. Most of them knew me from various classes, so they remembered that I usually finish exams first or close to it. I was in a hurry to get out of the testing room before any of them could lynch me. Some people started playing music in the testing room… As rude as that was, the proctor didn’t do anything about it. I went out to the parking lot and called Nicole. I asked her to pick me up on her motorcycle. There were only a few cars in the lot, so I was able to roam freely. I waited at the end of the parking lot for Nicole. Nicole is my Pizza Limia and Marc were giving a special lecture on circuit analysis. They treated the class to pizza because the lecture was food-themed. After drawing a simple charging circuit with switched parallel branches, Limia labeled a couple of the elements in the parallel branches as “Yi.” She wrote it too small at first, so none of us could see it. Once it was large enough to be legible, she drew a cheeseburger off to the side. “You can think of this burger as a capacitor,” she said. “The buns are the parallel plates, and the food between them is the insulating medium. It’s not a very good capacitor, but it has a capacitance that you can calculate.” She showed us a diagram in our textbook that had pictures of cheeseburgers with meatballs inside the buns. It looked really good. I found some pictures of spaghetti with meatballs, too. “Meatballs are my favorite unhealthy food,” I said with a nod. Amar overheard and seemed to think I said that he wasn’t allowed to eat bacon. I tried to tell him again what I said, but I accidentally replaced meatballs with bacon, so I had to try a third time. He gave me a weird look and said that meatballs are actually very healthy. I wasn’t convinced. I grabbed another pizza slice and sank my teeth into it. As soon as I made contact, I heard Nicole yelp. I awoke to find her trying to kiss me in bed. I had bitten her lip thinking it was my pizza… Sunburn Fever Dreams I had strange sunburn dreams in which I tried to quantify the pain each portion of my body was feeling due to the burns I got today while canoeing. I rated my forehead as a 2.5, my back as a 10.0, and several areas around 7.5. The total pain rating fluctuated as I paddled around in nothingness.

Aqua's Dream I am at a cafe with my mom in the Denver International Airport. Everything is white. The tables, chairs, floors, walls. My aunt and cousin come walking in. "What are you guys doing here?" My mom asked. My aunt said something about how they couldn't wait to see us so they flew here. My mom orders a coffee and the waitress comes and brings it to her. The waitress had pale white skin and was wearing a white dress. The coffee cup was white and guess what color the coffee was? White. My aunt orders a salad that is also completely white. I look around and do the nose plug RC. It fails and the dream ends. I was so angry when I woke up. xD
