Lucid Dreams
These happened really late in the morning, like reaaaally late. I woke up several times, and the last time, the clock said 10:43am. I thought, ehh, I'll get up in a bit, no sense in trying to LD now because I never do this late. Then I conked out again anyway. I remember dreaming about my dogs chasing and torturing frogs in the back yard like they do irl. Gucci brought one inside and was trying to half play and half chew on the poor thing (irl, I occasionally happen upon a little frog jerky on the living room floor). So I shoo the dog away so I can get the little corpse and throw it outside. When I pick it up, he's still alive! He appears unwounded, just in shock and perhaps playing dead. I hold him very gently, and go to put him in the koi pond in our back yard. He does a couple little frog licks on my hand, which felt like grateful kisses. I set him in the koi pond, which has suddenly turned into an ocean shore line (YAY oceanfront property, finally). I watch as he floats for a moment, then does the breast stroke and swims off. I suddenly become lucid, because HEY, I don't have an ocean in the back yard! So I start skipping along the shore, and take to flight. It was already night when the dream started, with the only light coming from our backyard floodlights. But now that I'm lucid, it goes completely dark. I REALLY need to learn how to summon light. I tried all kind of things. I even closed my eyes and spun, trying to change the scene. Usually that would wake me up, but it didn't this time, which is good. But it was still dark. I just kinda stood there, in a black oblivion for a few moments, and woke up due to frustration. But I didn't wake up, it was a false awakening! I thought I woke up, and Danny was getting up to get ready for work, and I could hear the kids getting ready for school. But then I remembered I already went through this like 4 hours ago, I should be alone right now! So I just got up out of bed and went down the hall, ignoring the pretend family members. The hall opened into an entirely new scene. It looked like a romper room: lots of kids and a few gym teachers, multicolored foam blocks, toys and books. I suddenly remembered that I wanted to try the basic TOTM, to shrink down. I looked at one of the teachers, and asked her if she knew how to cast spells, because I want to shrink down to the size of a bug. She said "I sure do!" Then she pointed me to 4 different children, each holding a magic wand. She told me to choose which one I wanted to cast the spell on me. So I chose the boy in blue. Everyone stood around me in a circle, and the boy pointed the wand at me and said an incantation. I felt like there was an invisible power, forcing me downward. At first I thought I was shrinking, because I went from being at eye level with everyone, then knee level, then finally ankle level. But they looked the same size, so I couldn't have shrunk. I looked at everyone, then myself, and I realized all that happened was I was just sitting on the floor. Lame job there subconscious. I thought I might just grab a teacher and have some consolation sex, but my dream body that was on the floor phased into my waking body in my bed. Oh well, at least I remembered and attempted it one last time before the end of the month.
This DILD is cool because it is the precise type of LD I was having that sparked me into googling lucid dreams, and subsequently finding DreamViews. Since then, I haven't had many DILDs like this, so I was happily surprised to have another one. This is how it went down: I'm having a nonlucid dream about Aaron from my last job. He's really cute and we were going to hook up in real life, but we ended up not for several reasons. Anyway, in the dream we were at work after just having clocked out. We were just standing around kissy kissing. The dream jumped forward to us screwing in bed. I'm suddenly lucid, and I think what triggers it in these sex dreams, and what triggered it in the past ones like it, is that I kinda felt like I had just woken up and feel myself in my bed, but at the same time I still feel someone on top of me and we're still kissing and having sex. I know it's not real, but it feels real. And it's just a matter of minutes before I wake up completely. Anyway, so in this one, I can feel Aaron doing me, I'm grabbing his butt and having a grand old time. He kinda sits up for a minute, and my mind is suddenly filled with the worry that he's gonna wig out demon-style on me. So I just stick my hand in his mouth to get the biting over with. He won't bite down, so I stick my other hand somewhere that would make ANY honest man get pissed, and he bit down hard haha! So I rolled him over on his stomach, grew a boy part, and got 2 good thrusts in before waking up. It was probably around 8am when I woke up, and it took me an hour or so of tossing and turning before I felt some vibrations. So I don't classify this next lucid as a DEILD, because it was way later. But maybe it was, whatever, it was a super fast perfect seamless transition into lucidity, that's all I care about! So I was lying on my stomach finally feeling drowsy, and I felt the vibrations. I relaxed and watched the back of my eyelids like I always do, though I didn't see anything. I concentrated and focused the vibrations some more, and I felt like I could safely open my eyes now. When I did, I thought for just a moment that I woke up for real, because I was in the same position, staring at my bedroom wall. But then suddenly an image of Mickey Mouse appeared on the wall, just in shadow form, and then it darted out the window with a cartoonish "zooooom!" sound. Haha ok, I'm dreaming and can get out of bed now. I got up and went out the bedroom door into the hall. I was blind in my left eye, but it looked nice and bright outside. So I thought if I went outside my other eye would work better with all the light. I went out the sliding glass door, and it worked, I could see better! I remembered that I wanted to go into a mirror again instead of a TOTM. So I turned to go back into the house. I'm standing in front of the sliding glass door and I think "Fuck it, I wanna phase through it." It felt just like going through the mirror. But when I got through, it changed the way my house looked a little. I saw a mirror hanging on the wall that doesn't exist in real life. I walked up to it, preparing to go through. This time, the reflection was not me, it was a blonde haired, green-eyed, mischievous looking young lady. She looked at me like she was gonna be trouble. When I moved, she moved in unison, but it was a bit off. I stared at her and asked her "Who are you?" She said with a really creepy grin, "I'm you." DOH I woke up.
I had 3 DILDs back to back early this morning. They weren't DEILDs because I didn't fade from awareness into the dream. Each time, I would just be kinda drowsy, then I'd get lost in some HI, the dream would start for a few seconds, then something would trigger me into lucidity. Still fun. I don't have alot of time, had some crises this morning and I forgot some stuff, so I'll just run through what I remember. I thought I had just woken up, but I felt weird. I started to get up slowly, wondering if I was lucid, and I felt it right away. But when I got out of bed and headed for the door, same thing as last time: it felt like my blankets were stuck to my body. Again, I just ignored it rather than fussed with it, and went out the bedroom door. Again, as soon as I left the bedroom and was in the hallway, the blankets were gone. I decided to do one of my personal goals, which was to just wander around, and let the dream do what it wanted without trying to control things. I walked outside and it looked like it was dusk. My vision was kinda blurry, but I just went with it. I sat down in the front lawn, and looked at the grass. The blades were really big, green and hairy. I touched one, it was really rigid too. I picked it, and it started oozing a green puss like liquid. It appeared to be oozing more than it could possibly hold. I squeezed it and a whole bunch oozed out on the ground. Gross. Then I felt randy, changed gender, and found a dude. Had some fun and woke up. I pretty much did the "had some fun" part 2 more times and that was that. Sorry for the lack of detail. I felt kinda blah when I started the dream, so I didn't give it a full go anyway.
I woke up around 4am to pee, then had a hard time getting back to sleep. Then Danny's alarm woke me up at 5am, then I went back to sleep at 5:30am. Then my alarm woke me up at 6:45am to get Chris up. I set my alarm for 7:10am to take him to school, and went back to sleep. In those 25 minutes I managed 2 short lucid dreams: When I went back to bed at 6:45am, I got vibrations almost instantly. I had the perfect amount of tiredness from all that waking up I'm guessing. They waved over me a couple times before I was able to focus them over my whole body without fading. As soon as I got it right, I felt the sensation of my body curling up a little, and scooting around the bed, though very subtle. I'm finding that this transition is getting more and more subtle, which worries me. I don't want it to become so subtle that I bare;y notice it and then just have a false awakening. This is the point in time where I would usually have a really intense demon experience, which are obviously hard to miss lol. But vibrations getting ever milder and milder, followed by really faint proprioception is making it more and more difficult to tell if when I open my eyes it's a dream or real. My even worse fear is that I won't feel the vibrations anymore, therefore miss altogether that I'm transitioning into a dream and then end up having a nonlucid/FA. ANYWAY, sorry for the pre-dream wall of text there. So after the vibrations settle, I open my eyes. I actually do it twice because I'm not sure. I slowly get out of bed, but with some difficulty in removing blankets and pillows off of me. I felt a bit caught. Then my body magically rose up into a standing position without me even trying, which was helpful lol. I knew at this point I was lucid for sure. I start walking to the bedroom door, but I feel invisible blankets all over me, and I'm having a hard time removing them. I remember guessing that it was because my sleeping body could still feel them, and it was carrying over into the dream. So I decided to ignore them, and went through the door anyway. This was a good idea, because as soon as I opened the door, the feeling of all those blankets was gone. I think ignoring the problem helped, along with opening the door which acted enough as a subtle scene change to help me stabilize a bit better. I felt like my foot hit a sleeping dog, and then I saw Daisy run up to me, I pet her and let her lick me. I felt her teeth and thought she would bite, but she kept her mouth open. Good girl. I open the front door, and it looks like an overcast morning, but plenty light enough to see. But when I step out of the door, which is usually to the right of the garden, suddenly it opened to the left of the garden. I even had to step over it to continue. As soon as I did that, the sky turned super dark grey, and started to pour down rain. I said "NNnnnoooooooo I can't believe it." I was upset because I wanted to try the advanced TOTM again, but now I could barely see. So much thunder and lightening too. I think now, in retrospect, I would have had a more fulfilling experience if I had just gone with it instead of using all my energy to change the weather. I chanted at the sky, saying something like "The clouds must dissipate, I want to see the sun." I was even singing this at some point. The clouds moved away and showed blue sky a few times, but it never disappeared completely. I got TOO obsessed about having a perfect blue sky when I could have just switched my focus to some other task/adventure. I'm making myself remember this as I type it, because it will help me, and I'm always preaching the same goddamned thing to my DVA students. Anyway, I'm staring hopelessly at the sky, then I woke up. I start drifting off again, passively thinking about walking around in college. I go unaware, straight into a dream where I'm walking in a stairwell, talking to old college buddies. I was making out with one against the wall and making plans to have sex with him. I become lucid after a few seconds, because I remember that I was JUST lying in bed not moments ago, thinking about this. Super quick DILD, I love it. I know that the alarm is going to go off at any minute, so I just resign myself to some lucid sex. I can't find the guy I was originally making out with, so I searched a bunch of rooms to find someone else. I switch gender and grabbed some other ok-looking guy in the cafeteria. Things were going really really well on the table, but I started losing my vision. I focus really hard to make things clearer, then the alarm went off. Oh well.
I believe I had my first true DEILD this morning. I'll try to remember the details (it happened sometime between 7:30am - 9am), and I slept way in after that, so I don't remember a ton of details. But I know I had vibrations 3 times, and each time I went straight into a dream where I was in my bed and had to think for a bit to make sure I wasn't really awake (my room is starting to look too correct lol). There was literally seconds between each dream, where I didn't move, just felt the vibrations and immediately went into the dream. I also did the advanced TOTM! It was just a little blurry and pretty short because of how unnerving it was. At any rate, I woke up at 5am, went back to sleep, then 6am, sleep, 6:45am, sleep, 7:15am, sleep (lol, school mornings are rough). When I went to bed at 7:30am, I was so tired by this point that I felt the vibrations come on only after a few minutes of just laying there. I waited until I could start to see a picture, and I opened my eyes. It was my room, and again with the strange orangeish light that's almost my only giveaway that I'm dreaming. Still, I get up very slowly just in case. I look at my hands, and the tip of my right ring finger is missing which confirmed lucidity. I give everybody a good wiggle and leave the bedroom. Not thinking of the TOTM right away I decide to go outside and have a look around. I feel like flying (I don't usually, but now I'm starting too more. I think that's good because I bet I'll get to see and do more stuff this way hehe). I shoot straight up and as soon as I can see over the houses, I notice a huge river that doesn't exist irl. Then I think of the advanced TOTM and I bet I can manipulate this river into a cretaceous ocean once I'm underwater. Ever since I chickened out in my last attempt, I formed a plan: find water again, have a cage or some kind of underwater enclosure that lets me see but not get hurt, and one of those electrocutey things. It's a tall order I admit, but I'm really determined! Anyway, I flew up to the river bank, and I noticed a partially sunken inflatable blue canoe, big enough for one. I landed next to it, pulled it out and it immediately popped into shape. I sat down inside it, and it shoved itself on down the river. I willed it to form a glass shell over the top, which it did (but it didn't close properly, which I will discover later). I forgot about the weapon, oops. To my right in my new "sub" is a little control panel with a few unmarked buttons. I pretend I'm punching a combination for "The Cretaceous Period" and I say it aloud as I'm pushing the buttons. The submarine sinks to the ocean floor, and it's brown and murky and a bit hard to see (a little visual snowish). But I squint and pay close attention and move forward across the prehistoric ocean floor, looking for life. Sure enough, I see something that looks like an alligator at first, but as it got closer I noticed it was a mosasaur*. It was weaving left and right along the ocean floor, then it saw me. It paused for a moment and looked at me and I froze. It looked angry, like it wanted to get to me but didn't bother trying because I was protected. Then it swam off. A whole school of mosasaur came next, weaving back an forth like the first, all in unison. They all swam past my little nautilus, and each and every one looked at me all pissed in the same way as the first, then continued on. I was so scared, I thought I would wake up. Then they were gone, and I decided that was good enough for the task and I willed the sub to resurface. As it was moving up, it started filling with water. I just hoped it would make it up before I drowned. It didn't. But I was able to breath, I just wasn't breathing water. It felt like there was always a mask of air in front of my face, and water never came inside (which is actually normal for even my nonlucid underwater dreams, there's always a bit of air there). I could see the glimmer of the water's surface just above me when I woke up. I felt vibrations right away, and knowingly phased into an LD in my room the same way. I got up and thought of the basic task (greedy). Already I wasn't sure how this was going to work, so I just left the bedroom and went to the living room. I stood in front of the piano and said "shrink" but nothing happened. I said it again, but this time I squatted down on the floor at the same time, hoping my subC would fill in the blanks lol. Nothing. So then I remembered someone on DV saying to just make everything around you grow instead. So I willed the furniture to grow, and all that happened was they stayed the same size, but the legs got really long lol. Then I woke up. That one is going to be way hard for me. I'm going to need a plan again, like maybe using a mirror portal or going up a beanstalk haha. Same transition again (I'm already thinking how cool it's going to be to blog the fact that I did a true DEILD, as well as noticing that the 2nd was shorted than the first. So this one may end up being even shorter, oh well). Again, I "awoke" in my bed immediately lucid, got up, left the room and headed for the living room. I saw Danny (irl he's at work). I was glad I saw the DC version of him, because we had a bad fight last night irl, but this DC doesn't know that hehe. I hugged him and he bit my hand, demon style. I slapped him on the side of his head, and he returned to normal. I said "Let's go outside." We went to the front yard. It was cool, and cloudy. I said, "I can fly, want to come with me?" He said sure. I got behind him, and put my arms around his chest and locked my fingers. With effort, I jumped straight up, and we started to sink immediately. He was so heavy! I forced us to go higher, which worked, but it was hard to steer with Danny in my arms. We were heading straight for some trees, but I forced us to the right as hard as I could. I said "It's really hard to steer while holding you." But I managed to get us up higher, and over the houses. I said "Want to see something cool? Just over those houses is a really big river!" So I flew us to the river so he could see it. We just hovered over the rooftops, watching the water move for a few moments, then I woke up. Gucci was barking irl so I got up and let him in. I went back to sleep and had a few FAs, all related to confronting Danny about our fight last night. That's all there was. *edit: not pliosaurs, they were mosasaurs. I googled different ones and it was the mosasaur that were more alligator-looking.
Updated 09-10-2012 at 10:40 PM by 905 (wrong dino name)
I went to bed late, around 1am, because I stayed up watching underwater dinosaur videos on youtube (TOTMers will understand ). Anyway, I fell right to sleep, but I woke up at about 3:45am and couldn't get back to sleep. I was frustrated because I knew the alarm was going to go off at 6:30 for work. And the frustration was making me more awake. Finally, I heard Danny's daughter get up at about 5:15am, just as I was getting drowsy by going to my "happy place." I rolled over one last time in one of my prime positions for LDing, not intending to LD, but rather get comfortable so I could get at least one more hour of sleep After a few minutes, I got the vibrations. As usual, just a few cycles would wave over me, and I am getting better and better at focusing the vibrations. It's hard to explain, but sometimes I can control them and intensify them, which catalyzes the WILD. After the few cycles, I felt my body slide across the bed involuntarily, like I was being pulled gently across it. Then I opened my dream eyes slowly. I knew I was in a dream immediately because it looked just like the bedroom from our last apartment. The dream character version of Danny was lying next to me, and he got up to get ready to take me to work I'm guessing. I waited for him to leave before getting up myself. I was excited because I couldn't believe I could WILD on a work morning, especially after only a couple hours sleep and a 90 minute WBTB. Anyway, as soon as he left the room, I floated up out of the bed, and flew/floated around the room. I thought to fly all the way up and phase through the ceiling, but I lost momentum and just kinda bounced my hands off it. It's really amazing how I'm starting to copy some of the experiments I read about other LDers trying. Anyway, plan B, I decided to just phase through the wall, since I was always able to go through mirrors. I went through the wall just beside the window, and I remember seeing a layer of sheet-rock in my peripheral vision, then wooden lats, then about 4 inches of empty space, another layer of wood lats, then I was outside. The morning sun was just rising over what sorta looked like my old apartment complex, except I was high up, as if I came out of the 3rd or 4th floor. The grass was bright green and dewy, and the air was cool as I flew between the buildings. As I rounded a corner of one of the buildings, I looked down and saw a big blue and white beach ball. I aimed downward so I could get it and play with it (at no time did I think of the TOTMs, which was fine because I wasn't sure how soon the alarm would go off, and I was just going with it, ya know?). Anyway, I picked up the ball and flew up with it, but the ball got really blurry. I don't think my brain can process all those images at once sometimes lol, so I just dropped it. As I rounded another corner, it turned to night, and I could see downtown Dallas all lit up beautifully like it always is irl. I suddenly realized I was impossibly high up, about to pass over a cliff. It was a little scary at first, but I went for it. I floated easily over the cliff and looked down, there were tall buildings down below, waaaay deep down below.. like Grand Canyon deep. I didn't feel vertigo, just awe. A little way past the canyon was a large field studded with juniper trees. I decided to land and walk around. The grass was so cool and soft. I like being barefoot in my LDs, this is a product of becoming lucid in my sleep environment and pajamas, I think. I turned and looked about 90 degrees, and I saw something way up in the sky. I could never tell what it was because it was too dark, but I'll say this now, I swear it looked like the silhouette of Elliot and E.T. on the flying bicycle. I darted back up and started to fly after it, saying "E.T. phone hoooome" and giggling to myself. "They" kept slowly going higher and higher, and so did I, with one outstretched arm. But I couldn't get to it. Pretty soon I was struggling, and doing a kind of breaststroke to try and reach them (ALSO something I read in another journal..). I couldn't reach them, and I could feel my heart beating like crazy, and I wondered if it was beating that fast in real life, and if this would wake me up. After a few moments, I did wake up, but my heartbeat was totally normal. Isn't that trippy?!?!? That whole dream was maybe 5 minutes, but I felt like I had slept a whole hour.
I woke up at 5:14am when Nicole woke up for school. Then again at 6:45am to get Chris ready for school. I dozed off again and got up at 7:10am to take Chris to school. I went pee, got some water, cleaned a pee puddle because Nicole forgot to let Bella out, then went to bed at about 7:30am. I woke up at 9:34am, then tried to go back to sleep. I lay a while before finally feeling some vibrations. A few waves came over me before I finally got that feeling of sliding involuntarily across the bed. I thought for a moment that I might actually roll off the edge like Xanous does in his DEILDs, but the sliding abruptly stopped. I felt like I was already in a dream, and still aware yay! But when I tried to open my dream eyes, they were glued shut. I was still dreaming, and I could feel my bed, so I just got up and felt for the door, blind and all. I opened the door and went into the hall, feeling my way all the while. I was already thinking about the advanced TOTM, but the chance of regaining my eyesight, going back in time and finding water seemed pretty bleak at this point. I clapped my hands, shouted for more light. I even wiggled my hands in front of my face and could barely make something out, but I was still for the most part blind as a bat. I found another door that doesn't exist irl, and opened it. LIGHT halleluiah! I found myself in an oyster dive, overlooking the ocean. It looked like a delta in the everglades, that stretched out to the gulf. Only thing between me and the water was the front door of the dive and a parking lot and some sand. I went out the screen door, and stepped into the parking lot. I could see the bright orange sun getting close to setting, so I knew I needed to work fast. A little dude dressed in a white suit, who looked like that little guy from Fantasy Island, was there to greet me in his car. He said he would drive me to the shore. I said no thanks, I didn't want to drive or walk because I'm running out of time and the scene tends to change on me when I do that. So I remembered my mistake from my last lucid, and that I should have flown to my destination. So I did a little running start, and managed to fly/hop like a wounded bird and quickly made it to the shore. The little dude met me there in his car anyway. It was still light out, but the sun had just set. And the water now looked black, arrrghhhh. I think of the task and don't want to blow it, so I bravely step into the water and start walking to the deeper part, preparing to dive in. I don't know how I'm going to see down there, and I'm not even in the Cretaceous Era. So I'm about shin deep now, and as I'm pondering how I can make time travel and light happen, I see two somethings under the water, racing straight for me, creating huge wakes. I turned around and ran straight out of the water, and angled right. I looked over my shoulder, and the little dude was still on the beach. Two gigantic animatronic pliosaurs shot out of the water, and one of them ate the little dude! I just kept running along the beach. I was having a hard time running AWAY from the beach, more like I just kept running along the shore line. I lost my sight again and either went nonlucid or woke up briefly, I can't remember. I'm glad I had my 3rd successful WILD with no breaks in consciousness, and that I made it in the water at least somewhat. And hell, my subC was even able to conjure some cretaceous beasts, so I feel like it was half the battle. Facing those beasts again though is going to be a struggle, especially since now I know I left one of them hungry:
Horrible insomnia last night, but thank goodness I'm off today so that I could sleep in and have an interesting DILD. I woke up at 3am, then fell back to sleep at about 5:30am, when Danny was getting ready for work. I could faintly hear him in the kitchen getting his food together. Right before I fell asleep, I had some vibrations, but they were really short, mild bursts. Not enough to keep me aware, so I passed out cold. The first thing I remember was a nonlucid where I was reading some kind of health journal in bed. It's interesting to me how the words were not jumbled, and what I was reading seemed to make sense (until the last 3 words): Something about congestive heart failure.. something something patients experience these symptoms etc etc in a bird. HAHA?! In a bird? I said I must be dreaming. My room Looked different and my comforter was not mine. So I slowly got out of bed. I had the strange feeling that not much time had passed, and that Danny would still be in the kitchen in real life, so I wondered if I would bump into the DC version of him. I did, and he came up and kissed me. I noticed that he had rearranged all the living room furniture, including some furniture that we don't own. I laughed and said "Good work on the living room there buddy, been busy eh?" He hugged me and said "Yeah, I know, I'm awesome. There's still a blank spot on that wall though, and I need to change my cell number." I wanted to tell him what a cute DC he was, but I didn't want him to explode, so I just said I needed to go do stuff, have a nice day at work. I went to the dining room that we don't own, and thought about how I want to see if I can switch back and forth between feeling my real body in bed, then back into the LD. I laid down on the floor, but things started to get dark, and I was afraid I would wake up, so I hopped back up. I went into the living room, and Danny was gone. The room wasn't very well lit. I saw Daisy run up to me and give me some love. I went through the house trying light switches, but nothing worked. So finally I went for the front door, which looked different and had a weird lock that I don't own irl. I could hear rain on the other side. I opened the lock, then the door, then what I saw was probably the coolest LD scene I can remember. It was raining, and flooding the driveway and road. There were these bushes in the front yard that were so emerald green. Everything was so vivid, and hyper-colored. More vivid than in real life, and I'm starting to think that my extra vivid dreams are extra clear like this, because I don't have visual snow in the really clear, vivid dreams. Whereas I have visual snow in real life, which translates to some of the less vivid dreams. Anyway, I wasn't going to go outside at first, because of all the rain, then I thought screw it. I'm glad I did, because the scene that unveiled was amazing. Instead of a row of houses that should have been there, there was a playground with a huge jungle gym set, and just behind it was a giant italian villa, only way more colorful. To the right was a huge silver and crystal palace, and to the left was the Dallas skyline more or less. I looked at the villa and there was an outside elevator going up, but it didn't stop at the top balcony, it just shot up through the sky like a rocket. I said I'm so going there right now. Oh and Ziggy escaped and went for a swim in the flooded driveway, but I retrieved him and tossed him back inside. I started for the gym set, but I was barefoot. I summoned some shoes, but there were no matches, just a bunch of odd sized boots. I threw some on that looked similar enough. They felt cool and wet from being rained on. Though the rain had now stopped. I walked to the base of the gym set, when I noticed a guy talking to a girl about real estate. I decided to be funny, and I shook my bootie at him. He stopped talking for a bit, like I distracted him haha. I climbed to the top of the jungle gym, singing some Lucia di Lammermoor. Couldn't get out the high E, so I laid down and tried again, no luck. Stupid dream voice. I stood back up, but now that villa and the palace were gone, just the Dallas skyline. But I could see, just a short distance between the base of the other side of the jungle gym and downtown, was a little street that was adorned with lights, just like Little Italy in NY. I decided to get down of the set and go there. I had the choice between a rope ladder with plastic bars, or the pole. It was a looooong way down, and I feel pain in LDs too, so I avoided the pole and went down the ladder. As i started down, it went immediately to night, but I could still see since I think there were floodlights on the playground. I stopped briefly and looked at the pole.. I should have gone for the pole instead, would have been faster. I need to fly more, hell. i got to the bottom, then everything went black. I clapped my hands, saying more light, over and over. But my voice was so weak. I suddenly "woke up", but it was into another lucid. I was instantly in a bed in a strange bedroom, sitting straight up. This bed had bed posts, and holding onto one at the foot of the bed, was a man dressed like a KKK member. But his costume had floral print lol. Still kinda creepy. He was facing me perfectly, almost like a reflection (except for the KKK part of course). I waved my hands back and forth really fast, and he mirrored me perfectly. Then I flipped him off with both hands, same thing. I said, I gotta get out of this room. The door was right beside him, damnit. I got up, and ran for the door. He ran towards me, so I put my hand out to block him, and my hand ended up in his toothless mouth, and I woke up. All the annoying things about this dream were worth that one, beautiful vivid scene. I wish I could draw it for you guys.
I woke up at 6:45am to get Chris to school, then I fed the fish, got some water etc, and I went back to bed at about 7:30am. I started getting vibrations and buzz sounds almost right away, I was that tired (because I stayed up until 2am, and Danny woke me up at 5:30am to go to work.) Anyway, I felt a couple waves of vibrations, then I completely blacked out. I think staying up that late killed my WILD transition because I was just too sleepy to stay aware. Anyway, I was dreaming about walking around the library at SMU. I was running my hands along all the tables, feeling really nostalgic. I even said to myself "I really miss this place.." Then I thought, this isn't real, it's just a memory! Then I knew I was lucid. I immediately though to try telekinesis, because of Xanous's lucid from yesterday (see, this is another reason I read y'all's journals and workbooks ). The library looked a bit more like a book store, with books merchandized on tables, rather than being lined up on book shelves. One table had 3 small pink books stacked on the corner, so I focused on those. I waked my hand, willing them to levitate, but nothing happened, just like with Xanous's first attempt lol. Then I simply reminded myself that these books aren't actually there, just projections from my mind, so I can make them do anything I want. I flicked my hand, and they jumped up into the air, then plopped back down. That's my first ever LUCID experience with telekinesis (had a few non lucid ones). I was super happy about this, so I went to the other side of the table that had some bigger, heavier books stacked up. I concentrated even harder, then tried to make a shoving motion with my hands, but I suddenly felt a little crippled. I shouldn't have done that, I should have reminded myself again that the books aren't real, so there's no need to do more than a tiny flick of the hand. Doesn't matter that they were bigger books. Anyway, I tried it again, and this time I was able to do the shove motion, and the books moved. But I started feeling weird, kinda dizzy and a little jerky. So I thought about doing something else. There were 2 escalators next to eachother (which looked like elevators. Basically there were 2 elevator doors, but when they opened, they revealed escalators), so I imagined that engineer from Prometheus appearing on the escalator as soon as I opened the door. Instead, it was a tall, naked, shriveled up looking man. I was like ew, no, do not want. That's all I remember about that dream. Later I had a non lucid where the president of america (it was Bush jr though) came up with the idea to make August have 30 days instead of 31. His logic was so that the year would have an odd number of days instead. So I was throwing a fit because "365 is ALREADY an odd number. What a stupid fucking president." I was also mad because the cakes I made on Sunday now had the wrong expiration date on them, because he took one day away from the month.
Had a fun time this morning. I woke up at about 5:30am, but couldn't get back to sleep until well after 7am. I had a DILD but I've forgotten some of it since I had a WILD after that. I don't remember anything before this now, but I remember I became lucid because I was trying to read some words on a card, and they kept dancing around all crazy. So I started walking down a hallway, all happy that I'm lucid. Then the thought hit me that I wanted to go through a mirror and find those demons, to ask them the proverbial questions: where did you come from, why did you harass me, then why haven't you returned? .. you know, that old chestnut. There was a really pretty full length mirror on the wall, with a decorative white border. I remembered that I designated 4 knocks was the combination to get me to their "lair". I knocked 4 times, then went through. The glass was really stiff, but I got through. It seems like the glass gets stiffer and stiffer, each time I go through one. Anyway, as soon as I got through, There was a plastic film in the way, and just on the other side of the film I could see a football player in an orange uniform. He pulled me through the plastic and said "Oh good, you're here!" But when he pulled me through, he left me suspended in midair lol. He went down the hall and said "This way!" then disappeared around the corner. "Hey! HEY YOU!! How do I get down?!" No answer. I could pivot left and right, but I was stuck in the air. I finally managed out of sheer will to get unstuck and I plopped down on the floor. I followed the direction the football player went, but I suddenly became over aware of my glasses. (We JUST talked about this yesterday in irc, can you believe it!) I took them off to see if I could see clear or not in the dream without them, but it was a little blurry, so I left them on. As I reached the end of the hall, I could hear a voice singing opera. I realized I was backstage, behind a huge red velvet curtain. It looked alot like the met stage. I opened the curtains slightly and peeked on stage, where I could see a tenor rehearsing an aria with piano accompaniment. I "think" it was "La donna e mobile" from Rigoletto. At this point my glasses were really bugging me, so I took them off. When I did that, another pair appeared. I took off maybe 5 pairs of glasses before I woke up. I woke up and went back to sleep a 2 more times I think. When I woke up the next time, I was really relaxed, perfect temperature, nice and quiet, and I felt like I was moments from going back to sleep again. I felt the vibrations again, but this time they were really mild. In fact I heard them more than I felt them. This is kinda hard to describe, but it seems like that every time my hearing started to go, the sound of the fan got really weird. And I was also kind of able to control it a bit. It was a little disturbing at first, and it felt like it was keeping me from getting to sleep. I just let it cycle over me several times, until finally I felt like I was transitioning into a dream. I was really focusing on staying relaxed, and not getting too excited about the fact that I was about to have my 2nd WILD ever. I had the sensation of moving across the bed, like something was pulling me. Such an interesting sensation. I waited for images to appear behind my eyelids so that I would be able to open my dream eyes. I started to see some letters, and math problems, or chemical formulas appear. I decided to risk it and I slowly opened my eyes. I knew I was in a dream already (it felt just like my first WILD), because right when I opened my eyes and saw my bedroom, my body was lifted into a sitting position by an unseen force. I got up and started for the bathroom mirror, and noticed a digital clock on the floor that I don't own irl. The numbers were all jumbled and kept changing. Before I went into the bathroom, I asked if anyone was there. No reply. I went to the bathroom mirror and looked at myself. Sure enough, I always look about 25 and totally babelicious. Sigh. Anyway, this time I thought to "set the combination" first. One knock for the HP dimension, 2 knocks for some kind of Vampire dimension, and 3 knocks for the demon's lair. I said it aloud with each one. (I messed up though because 3 knocks was supposed to be alien planet, and 4 knocks is for the demons, curse you cohesive flow!) Anyway, I knocked 3 times, and went through the mirror, which still felt a bit stiff, but I could get through regardless. I was spit out into this huge grocery store. It was beautiful, green and silver. It almost looked like a palace, except it had aisles of food products, and fancy eating area. I was SO MAD. I felt so deceived by my subconscious. So I walked around, looking for some DCs to beat up or something, I was mad and I wanted to take it out on someone lol. I walked past a table where some people were sitting, and I saw these hot twin guys. I thought "Twins TWINSSSS" they looked at me and smiled. I turned around and turned boy. When I turned back to the table, there was an even hotter guy leaning over it, talking to the twins. I played with that guy, then myself, got a bit bored then woke up. I didn't accomplish the goal, but I did have my 2nd successful WILD, and still got to do alot of fun stuff. Still, I need a new list of goals. I'll still probably use the mirror, but I may not try so hard to force the outcome.
I became lucid when I was teaching DCs how to fly, from a sort of weird 3rd person perspective. It seemed odd that I was actually able to fly, so I realized I was dreaming. Once I became lucid, I just grabbed the closest male, and we started making out. He had me shoved up against the wall, and we were french kissing pretty intensely. I suddenly became hyper-aware of the feeling of his tongue in my mouth. Which was bad, because then it grew really fat and really long. I spit it out, and it started whipping me in the face lol. I just kinda squealed and pushed him away. I reached out to feel if he had a boner, and he did. So I said "Watch this.." and I switched gender and pulled mine out. He just looked stunned, and said "How did you DO that??" I said "Well, I'm lucid dreaming, so I can do whatever I want." So he asked "Well I'm dreaming too, how come I can't change my gender?" So I said, "Well, you have to be fully accepting of the fact that your real body is asleep, in bed, and this is all happening in our minds." Then it dawned on me "Oh duh... you're just a DC." He just scoffed at me and stomped of in a huff. I guess that tiny spark of realization that this was MY dream and those people and the dude with the tongue were just DCs in MY dream, helped anchor my lucidity. Because then it hit me "I want to walk through the mirror again!" I had this all worked out in my mind from waking life: I was going to explain to those "DEILD Demons" that if they don't appear at MY discretion (vs. theirs), that I would track them and hunt them down via mirror portals. 4 knocks is the combination. If they wanted to discuss this with me now, they needed to be on the other side of the door when I opened it. If not, then I'm going in the mirror. I actually said all this quite loudly, in speech form, and my voice seemed to echo for miles. SO I opened the door, and there was a little old man standing there. I asked him if he had a message for me. He looked confused. Now I was pissed, because they completely ignored my request. So I was going to use the mirror in the bathroom, but I got distracted by a larger one on the wall. I took it off the wall for some reason, and was deliberating on where I wanted to put it. Why do I always deliberate over the mirrors before going through? So annoying. I finally set it down, and just as I was about to go it, I WOKE UP. I think the demons did it. They're so going to get it.
I think I finally got this thing down, thanks to some advice I got from RareCola, who's currently in Sageous's WILD class. I went to bed at about 2am, then woke up at 5am and went back to sleep. Then again at 6:30am and went back to sleep. Then I heard the kids get up at about 8am, so I got up and shut my door. When I went back to bed, I got on my side, and after a few minutes I could feel vibrations. Not that uncommon for me to get there, usually I just lose consciousness and fall asleep after that. But this time, I remembered something RareCola had said, about what I should should do next time I get to the vibrations stage. I should look for the HI or HH to form, then open my dream eyes, and I should be in an LD without losing awareness from awake to sleep. So I stared at the back of my eyelids, and since it was already somewhat light out, it looked orange and blotchy. But the vibrations started making it look like there were flashes of light, with little sparks of electricity. I remember thinking at that moment, that I don't really feel any SP. But I didn't really dwell on it, I wanted to try out this thing. After a few seconds, the vibrations stopped, and the blotchy sparks on the back of my eyelids were beginning to form into an image of my bedroom. I had that brief feeling that if I opened my eyes now, that my real life eyes would open and I would wake up for real. But I've had past experiences with FAs like this, and I learned to just go for it. Anyway, it worked! I opened my "dream eyes" and I was in a somewhat deformed version of my room. It looked the same except it was orange and blotchy, like the back of my eyelids a little bit. I can't believe I didn't wake myself up from the excitement of this accomplishment. I got out of bed really slowly, and left the bedroom and went into the living room. It looked like a completely different house. Since I had already done both TOTMs, I couldn't think right away of something to do. So I went to my default gender change thing and explored that a bit. At one point I looked up to see my transformation in the mirror, and then it hit me "Mirror! I want to find an alien world by walking through a mirror!" I tucked the 2 feet of pipe back in (be jealous boys, be very very jealous), and went to the mirror I was just looking in. Strangely, this wall had several different sized mirrors. I kept deliberating and deliberating over these mirrors, trying to pick the right one. I finally decided on one that was barely big enough to squeeze my head through. But that's what I do, I almost never completely walk through these mirrors, I usually just take a peak first. So I stuck my head thought the little mirror, and I really had to push hard to get it through, and on the other side was what looked like probably just the next room lol. So I took my head back out, and I remembered that I wanted to use different numbers of knocking on the mirror, to act as a combination to get me to different places. I had it all worked out: One knock for werewolves, 2 knocks for vampires, and 3 for an alien world. (I had 1 and 2 totally wrong in the dream lol, I think one was supposed to be to go to Hogwarts, oh well.. the point was to do the 3 knocks). I knocked on the mirror 3 times, and stuck my head through. I saw something really strange. It was a shoreline, and it was entirely populated with these white creatures. They looked like a cross between a beluga whale and a seal. The beach and the water didn't look too strange, but the sky was really cool. The entire right portion was indigo, and the left side was deep blue. Separating these 2 hemispheres was an impossibly tall arch. The base of one side of the arch started in the sand, and it went all the way up to this cloudless sky, and ended in the sea. It looked like it was built by somebody or something. It was 2 toned, purple and white. It didn't look like it had a function, other than dividing the 2 sides of the sky. All I could think of was, "Damn! I need to draw this scene so I can post it on DV!" I was pretty semi-lucid or even non-lucid at this point, and the rest of the dream was me struggling to sketch the beach. Overall I'm just so happy with the seamless transition, and remembering to do the mirror combination, and actually making it to someplace that clearly wasn't earth. I wish I was good with photoshop or whatever it is you guys use these days, it was a really cool little place.
I've been having non lucids lately where murderous people are after me. I'm never all that scared in them, in fact it feels no different than running from someone I'm playing tag with. I mean, I never truly fear for my life, but I do try to get away. In this dream, a woman had captured me and was holding me hostage in my own house. She was explaining how she wanted to kill me and mutilate my body. And she had bloody body parts from other people scattered around. I was back to being a teenager, because one of my boyfriends, Dave, tried to come over. But the lady told him I wasn't home or something. So as he started walking home, I thought "I need to get out of here. I'm going to get my bike when she's not looking, and ride away!" Oh and side note, I think she already killed my parents. Anyway, she turned and left the room for a moment, so I easily slipped into the garage, opened the door, and started walking my bike into the street. I had a hard time getting my bike going there for a minute, and I was getting that excited/scared feeling you get when you're about to be tagged "it", but I finally got the bike going. I saw Dave half way down the block, and I yelled "Dave!" He stopped walking and turned around, and I hopped off my bike and ran to embrace him. His hair was all wild and red and curly like I remember it being when he was 19. We kissed, and then I broke the kiss and saw that 3 crazed murderous people were right behind him. I screamed!! Then either I woke up briefly or just went into blackness. The dream restarted, where I was at the police station with Dave and his family. The cops got the bad guys, and Dave's family had graciously decided to let me live with them. Not adoption exactly, just more like becoming my legal guardians. I remember being so excited that I would get to live in the same house as my boyfriend I was given some paperwork to sign, and it was really hard to do! The pen wasn't working well, and I was having a hard time just writing. I became lucid once I realized that I only have this kind of trouble writing when I'm in a dream. But I was too wrapped up in the story, and Dave, to do anything with it. I just went over and hugged his mom, then proceeded to make out with Dave before waking up.
Alright I have a TON of notes for this one, because several important things happened to me in the course of about 10 minutes. For time's sake, and the sake of recollection, I'll go straight into describing the dream. I was dreaming about being in our backyard, and looking at what damage the drought as caused some of the plants. I noticed that one of my bushes had spontaneously grown tomatoes in the center, though it was not a tomato vine. I poked at one. Then I noticed one of the citrus trees looked dry as usual, and the ground surrounding it also dry. But it was mysteriously missing it's little decorative brick border. Also, it was too close to the fence all of the sudden. I looked at the place it should have been, and there was an entirely different plant (like a basket topiary), in its place with the brick border. I thought, "This isn't right, OH I'm dreaming!!" This next moment is extremely important.: Right after becoming lucid, and for the few seconds before remembering that I want to complete a TOTM, I became very aware of the fact that I had only fallen asleep a minute before. And while the transition was by no means perfectly seamless, as there were a few moments where I couldn't account for the time exactly, and I had blacked out a little. I'll explain in a bit why I know how much time had elapsed, and why this is important. Anyway, moving on. I remembered the advanced task of the month almost immediately, as the thought of completing the basic task flashed through my mind. However, I knew I didn't have much time (you'll see why in a minute), and the fact that I was in the garden was going to make it hard to find a pen and paper. So in a panic, I willed something, anything to write with, to appear. A Bic, black ink pen appeared on the ground. YESSSSS I thought. I grabbed it, and not even bothering to look for paper, I tried to write something on my arm. I was able to scratch my arm a little, which hurt, but the ink wouldn't come out or show up on my arm. I wishfully looked at a table on the back porch, and I saw a pice of ripped manilla paper that Chris usually likes to doodle on. Double YESS! I ran and grabbed it, and quickly scribbled on it, and it worked. So I tried to think of something to write from my waking life, and the first thing that popped into my head was "Last night, I cooked chicken for dinner." I even recollected quite clearly the actual dish, as it was something I had never made before. I wanted the sentence to be simple though, and started to write, "Last night, I.." Then I got distracted by some scribbling that was on the top of the paper already. I don't remember what it said, but when I looked back to the sentence I was writing, it was all gibberish. I scratched it out and tried it again, just under my first attempt. Exact thing happened again haha! So this time, I made myself focus on the task. I mean, we're talking pain in the brain, making myself focus on writing this tiny little sentence without getting distracted. I finally got it all written out, and I remember being ecstatic that I completed both tasks within the first week of the month. Then Danny's snot rocket ritual (in real life) woke me up momentarily. I fell back to sleep, and again lost a little consciousness, and reappeared in the garden. I became instantly lucid again, because all the plants were jacked up in the same way. And this time Jason (RareCola) was there. This is also important for 2 reasons which I'll get to later. I was so excited to see him and show him the "journal". In this second lucid, it actually had grown from a simple piece of ripped paper, to a big book that looked like something that would be on Harry Potter's bookshelf. I opened it to the first page, and there was my waking life entry! Although, it now said "Lst nghnit, I cked CHKN fr dnnr," though imagine that with some Ns and Rs backwards. I explained to Jason that this happens apparently if you look away, then back again, at my journal. Then I turned some pages and there were drawings that Chris had made of bears, and dogs, and other animals. Same magic. If I looked at a bear, then turned the book around, then looked at the bear again, it changed. It looked all poofy, like it got its tail stuck in an electrical outlet. Same thing for each animal drawing, and I showed each one to Jason, who found it remarkable. At this point in time I think my lucidity became a bit hazy, but then I got it back, or I woke up briefly then fell back to sleep and got lucid again. Which one I can't recall, but I DO recall being lucid again, and going inside the house, being so proud of my TOTM accomplishments. I decided it was time to celebrate, since I couldn't really think of anything else to do. So I summoned a DC and we got it on. I actually awoke from that final lucid, because my DC and I heard a soft buzzing noise. I told him, "Oh that's just Danny in real life, brushing his teeth with the electric toothbrush." Then I woke to the sound of the electric toothbrush. Now, how did I know exactly how much time had passed in these lucid dreams, and furthermore, how did I know that I had little time before the dream would end? First, we set our alarm this morning for 6:30am. And Danny ALWAYS gets up first (because his bathroom ritual takes about 10 minutes, whereas mine takes 5 or less). At any rate, it's always the same ritual: 1. Peepee for 2 minutes (I swear he has a horse bladder), 2. Snotrockets in the sink (3 minutes), 3. Wash face and comb hair (3 minutes), and 4. Electric toothbrush (2 minutes). Then the bathroom door opens and it's time for me to get up. So, when I first became lucid, I knew it had to be between 6:30 and 6:40, because after the alarm went off and Danny went into the bathroom, I tried to sleep in for those 10 minutes, and I felt some mild vibrations. When Danny's snotrockets woke me up after the first dream, and I went right into the next lucid dream, I know I had maybe 5 minutes left (hair, face, and toothbrush). Next, why was RareCola's presence so important? First of all, the advanced task was his idea. And it's particularly noteworthy that he just realized in real life, that I don't actually keep a written dream journal (only online). Also, the night before this lucid sequence, Jason and I were talking about the subtle differences between a DEILD chain, and simply having multiple DILDs. I realized that I was really having the latter, because I couldn't honestly recall a single instance where I truly went from conscious wakeful awareness, to a lucid dream, without skipping a beat. There has always been a few moments of time, and fuzziness, and unconsciousness that I couldn't account for. So when I became lucid in that very first DILD, I couldn't help but think of our conversation, and I made that attempt to bring, into this DILD, the analysis of how I became lucid, and of how long it took (which I knew because of Danny's ritual), and of how I could really concretely admit that there was a moment of loss of awareness between those vibrations, and being in the garden and not lucid, then lucid moments later (holy run on sentence batman!). Finally, I find it truly remarkable, that a DC and I both heard Danny's electric toothbrush, and I had the true, acceptance of what this was. I was in a dream, and my body was in bed, and my sleeping ears were gradually picking up more and more of the sound of his toothbrush in the bathroom. I felt like I existed simultaneously on two planes, if only for a few seconds. I managed to stuff a shit ton of activities in just 10 minutes!
I managed to go to bed at 11:45pm, but I don't think I fell asleep until a little after midnight. Then I woke up around 3am, and had trouble getting to sleep (weird heart palpitations, not a racing heart, but it felt like it was doing somersaults in my chest.. not painful, but disturbing and annoying). What followed next was a series of nonlucids and more importantly, false awakenings. I needed to wake up irl for work by 5am, so I kept dreaming that the alarm had woken us up, or that we slept in, that I suddenly owned a clock radio that kept coming on and Dean Martin was singing Christmas Carols. Finally I had a FA where I had gotten up before Danny (ALWAYS the other way around, and I questioned this), let out the dogs and started getting my food ready for my long work shift. I reached up for something behind the stove, and accidentally knocked a blue pot off it's hook. It fell partway behind the stove, so I'm struggling to get it and hang it back up... when I think to myself "I don't own this blue pot, where the hell did this thing come from?" I kinda stood there for a few seconds, holding the pot, a little confused, then boom! "Abandon this project, I'm dreaming! " I stood in the kitchen, kinda bouncing with excitement, trying to remember the basic TOTM. It hit me right away, "Perform Surgery!!" One issue with this task is if you want to go full on and transport to a hospital, it may take a bit of time and control, and I wasn't sure what time it was irl. The alarm could go off at any moment, so I wanted to waste no time whatsoever. So I went to the living room couch and tried to summon a patient. Nothing. I went to my son's room, hoping to find a patient sleeping in there. I found Chris asleep in there, but no way was I going to perform surgery on him. At no time did I loose lucidity, I even remembered that he was at my mom's irl, but no way am I gonna cut up my son in a dream. And you can cross Danny off that list as well. I went back to the kitchen, trying to figure out what I was going to do, when I glanced at the window and saw the reflection of a man behind me!! I whipped around and it was a tall, slender Hispanic man with a very pallid expression on his face. I asked him right away "Are you here for some surgery?" He said "Yeah." I said, "Well you're in luck, because I'm a wiz with knives," and I proceeded to the kitchen and grabbed my chef knife, fillet knife, and paring knife. I told him to lie on the couch and explain to me what was wrong. He said that a previous doctor had fixed a "kink" in his intestines with a bandaid, and put a little microchip in there as well. I guess to monitor the kink or something. He said the microchip was causing him extraordinary pain and wanted it removed. He laid down on the couch for a moment, then got up and said he was going to his car real quick because he brought his own anesthetic. I told him that's fine, I have some too just in case (I knew I didn't have any, so I was going to just put water in a little flask and will it to work as anesthesia). He came back and said he didn't bring it, so I went to the kitchen and got the water. I held it up and said "I will this water to act as an anesthetic." It didn't look any different, but I didn't care. I wasn't the one who was going to drink it! I gave it to the man and he took a swallow, but choked on it a little bit. Then he took his shirt off and laid back down. It looked like he was drifting off a bit, but he was kinda restless. So I starting rubbing his chest gently, speaking softly, "Sleep, sleeeeeeeeep..." Of course this action produced an erection and I took advantage of it a little bit. I'll skip those details. (I was hoping it would help him pass out!!) It didn't work, he was still conscious. He even asked me if after the surgery, maybe we go out to dinner sometime lol. I said suuuure, why not. He wasn't going completely out, and I was running out of time. So I said I need to start cutting anyway, but he'd be just fine. I held him down with one hand, took the little pairing knife with the other, cringed, and made an incision in his belly. He groaned in pain and tried to sit up, but I pushed him back down. There was no blood. But I could immediately see the loop of intestine with the bandaid. Turned out it was kinda good that he was still conscious, because he was able to talk me through it a bit, and didn't seem to be in pain anymore. (I guess my subC is too squeamish.) I pulled out the little loop of intestine, and noticed the little microchip, which looked more like a tiny stone, sandwiched between 2 of the baindaids. He said just to remove the chip and leave the bandaid, so I did. I was just about to push the intestine back in and sew him back up, when Danny coughed irl and woke me up. Still success! I can't believe I could cut the guy, especially while he was conscious! Surgery went well overall I'd say though.
