The Cusp

This was a long left brain dream, which makes it hard to remember. I only recall choppy fragments, which are not necessarily in order

-I'm exploring an unfinished warehouse with Olivia from Fringe. We climb to the second floor, and have to take a hard to reach rope ladder to the third floor. From here we see the office of the red head chick with the robotic arm from Fringe, and know she was behind this. The 4th floor is even harder to get to, and when Olivia climbs up, she has to walk precariously across some wooden beams. I follow her up and we find the room where the experiments took place.

-I pass through a small red rift and enter into a parallel universe. This was the world we used to predict the floods in our world. I walk through some stuff I don't remember clearly, and see another red rift. I'm a little confused, is there supposed to be another one here like that?

I poke my face through the rift, farther and farther until the world on the other side is clear. I see meteors falling from the sky, lots of them. Some break up into smaller chunks, and just pummel the earth. I step through the rift to try to assess the damage these meteors are doing. There is lots of smoke and the orange glow of fires off in the distance, but the area I'm in seems more or less intact.

I wonder how accurate this will be in predicting events in my world, since it's a parallel dimension of a parallel dimension.

-I'm in the street with two other of the experimental test subjects when I was young, Peter and Tyson. The meteors start to fall, and we look for somewhere safe. We consider going into the lake, but the waves from the impacts are too violent. I remember a group of houses that were untouched and we head for those.

One house in particular had something to do with the experiments, and we climb up to the balcony, our bodies changed somehow. We get inside and fight a group of men with powers and wands.

-I'm walking in a parking lot with Olivia, when when a group with powers from the experiments walks up to us. They summon whirlpools at their feet that sucks people in. I'm impressed and intimidated that they can manifest these dream like powers in he real world, but I know enough about dream control to defend against it. It's an attention trap, so I immediately turn away and ignore it so it has no power over me. Olivia however gets sucked into the whirlpools.

All the people who got pulled in have become zombie/demon things, and I don't want to touch Olivia to pull her out in that state. I find a rope, lasso her, and pull her out.

-In school, some informer give me a clue and says to pick up my gift. I look at the desk and ask if the woman has anything for me. She hands me a book in german, and an army medal. I ask if the medal is mine, but I'm just taking it out temporarily like a library book.

Someone sees me with the book and says something about MK ultra.

-I'm on the school bus, identifying others who were part of these experiments. We're attacked by this mysterious group who cause our faces to melt and run. It's like our faces were made of wax and exposed to heat. I know it's another attention trap and ignore it, even though my face is completely melted.

There was so much more, so much weird stuff that I can't even describe.
