I'm taking refuge from the zombie apocalypse in a sometimes house, sometimes store. The front of the store provides us with lots of supplies, but we disagree on how to use them. I try to convince the others we should each have our own emergency supplies on us, and that we should stash supplies in fallback position in case the zombies get in and we can't reach the food anymore. But nobody will listen to me.

I notice the side door won't close properly, and zombies could easily get in. I won't be able to sleep at night knowing that door is so easily circumvented. I go out to the back yard which is fenced off and inspect the fence. Two people with me say the zombies could get over it easily, but I disagree because it's topped with barbed wire that will snag the dumb zombie's flesh.

I turn to see the rest of our group have been overrun by zombies, which are making their way towards us en masse. The three of us hop the fence at the gate and run for it. We run into a warehouse, but there are zombies everywhere. We have no choice but to go up to the top of the building to get away. We hide in the attic, which is clear for now. One of the guys turns into a mouse and crawls between the floor boards. We're to follow him, but his route just pops back out into the attic.

The zombies have now found us, and we run for the stairwell, but there are zombies there too. The zombies get my two companions, and I'm now on my own, the last survivor. I manage to get away and run into the garage where I'm confronted by a lone zombie who grins at me demonically. I recognize this zombie, who was present during all of the attacks. In fact he was the very first zombie, patient zero.

My only weapon is a box cutter, and I use it to slash at the zombie's throat. Over and over I slash it's throat, cutting deeper and deeper until finally it's head flops backwards. I take a few more hacks at it's spine until I finally sever it's head completely. The moment the first zombie's head comes off, all the other zombies disappear.

Had some mundane work dreams too, not worth recording.
