I do this all the time. If I'm in an environment with lots of people, such as school, I'd usually "see" a good number of possibilities of interactions with whomever I would choose. First choosing those that I could predict most well, going as deep as I could in a conversation or actions, then moving to the next person. But when I'm alone, or just choose not to do that, I'd bring people in and create whatever I like. It's pretty fun and about 99% of the time, I feel it too.
