Heh, this one is interesting. Just recently I had an LD that took place in a dream academy of sorts. This dream academy was actually a giant pink glittery void with a bunch of clouds. I took some lessons, graduated, went to exit (for some reason the place promptly turned in to my living room) and was promptly terrified by the thought of a kaiju from a creepypasta called Red (if you want to know what he looks like, google "red nes godzilla creepypasta" and go to google images). And, because I knew my annoying-ass subconscious would somehow twist that in to the dream, I looked out the window and saw his face in the branches of a tree (as in, a face made out of branches; not his actual face). I immediately went to the dream teacher/guide that had taught me a bunch of LDing stuff I already knew and I asked for assistance on how to get over my fear of Red. |

1. I saw a U.F.O. and saw two boys with laser come out of it, chasing me until I ran to my friend's house and was cornered by them, only to find out that they had FAKE lasers. |

oh and in a recent dream, my stuffed animal looked at me when I stared at it from the side. scared the shit out of me during the dream which promted some awarness allowing me to perform a reality check, tho it failed me unfortunatly. |

I've had a lot of really weird stuff happen to me in dreams.. but one of the weirdest I'd have to say was in a non-lucid I transformed into a girl BUT NOT JUST ONE GIRL, TWO that's right I was conjoined like a conjoined twin, RIGHT so I'm a male and here I am turned into a conjoined twin girl and THEN to top it off some guy has sex with me. I'm sure there's more weird stuff than this and I'm just forgetting, all my dreams are weird though. I once had a lego man dance battle where I controlled it like a marionette and the person who controlled the other lego man was a clone of myself.. |

I dreamed I was a girl in a non lucid dream....and you guessed it, I fingered myself and that shit was just really really awkward |

I'm not sure if I understand the question now that I've read the examples. I thought the question was like... what were the most unnexplainable things that've happened in my dreams? The weirdest, I won't bring up. But some of my most thought provolking dreams were these: |

We may guess that in dreams life, matter, and vitality, as the earth knows such things, are not necessarily constant; and that time and space do not exist as our waking selves comprehend them. Sometimes I believe that this less material life is our truer life, and that our vain presence on the terraqueous globe is itself the secondary or merely virtual phenomenon." H.P. Lovecraft
Nerq, I think you are right: this thread probably does not match the original poster's original intent. However, I would argue that just like when interpreting the US Constitution, original intent is not what determines how a thread is interpretted, nor should it necessarily in my opinion. As Forrest Gump said, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." and that certainly applies to when posting to dreamviews as well as to dreams themselves. Just like a dream can take on a completely new meaning over time through dream interpretation and introspection and selective memory and future events in the dreamer's waking life making him or her realize what the dream "was" truely about, a thread on dreamviews in seen through the lenses of interpretation of different responders each of whom brings their own bias as well as the bias of responses that came before them that they have read in the meantime. By now, a reply about what is the most supernatural thing that happened in a dream would be almost off topic in this thread even though it is on the original topic but it is not what most of the thread is about. The nice thing is that the original poster can rephrase the question spin it a slightly different way and post a new thread and most likely get an entirely different set of responses which may or may not match the original intent once again. |

-I was kissing a beautiful girl when her tongue became the tentacle of an octopus... that was really disgusting! |

Box77, your dream of being transformed into Lucifer (which sounds like a really bizarre and kind of interesting dream) reminded me of a dream I had as a kid: I dreamed I had died, and God was showing me my life recorded on VCR, and every time I had sinned, the video was paused, and would not be continued until I thoroughly and genuinely regretted that sin. I failed this test, and went to hell, where to my surprise everyone was dressed like for Halloween or Mardi Gras, and we danced around a bonfire. |

It's interesting how we build our ideas about hell and heaven. The first time I visited hell was in a LD, it was something like a church without roof and without people, it was on the bottom of a pool full of water. This time, Lucifer looked like a pretty handsome priest. I know we talked but nowadays I don't remember a word about that conversation. |

Ah, ok: see by that definition almost anything in a dream is "supernatural", but actually it is perfectly natural for dreams. I thought by "supernatural" you meant something that defied the dreamer's or other people's expectations of what happened in dreams (shared dreaming for example) or dreaming of supernatural such as demons, and that's why I agreed with Nerq that most responses probably did not match original intent. Of course, based on your explanation, I now know that I did not understand your original intent, however, my argument still holds that it really does not deeply matter whether I correctly understood your original intent or not, as long as I posted in good faith replies which I thought were on topic based on my interpretation of what on topic was. |

That's why I missunderstood as well. When the question said what is the most supernatural thing that's happened in a dream, I thought you were asking what kind of supernatural things had potentially happened in people's dreams. Not if they had seen things in normal dreams that didn't exist. That question is a bit harder. I'd define the 'supernatural' theme's in my dreams as absolutely natural, more or less. |

All interpritations whether on point or misunderstood are welcomed. you and Nerq's post actually provided a very interesting thread idea that I might even consider making. anyways all is forgivin and it's perfectly understandable when others at times misunderstand a thread title or certain wordings in a post. |

about my use of the word "supernatural" yeah when people refer to a dream as supernatural, it is not meant to be taken in it's literal terms, it is meant to describe a particulat type of dream. For most people, dreams usually holds basis in the persons natural reality. these type of dreams are far more subtle and closer to the dreamers actual reality. there are times when the person has dreams inwhich they are friends with a particular famous person or something along those lines but those wouldn't really be the type of dreams people mean when they mention supernatural dreams. supernatural dreams are meant to refer to dreams that are far beyond the bounds of subtlety. these dreams take place in a dream reality that deals in pure fantasy, these type of dreams make up the stereotypical dream most people think of when the idea of dreaming comes to mind. These type of dreams are the dreams that take our real life fictional movies about si fi, fantasy, animation and brings those things to life in our dreams. |

I was being pulled by my arm across a room by some unseen force. |

The weirdest dream I have had was about 5 years ago, and I can still remember it visually. I was running away from some demons and ghosts with a classmate of mine in primary school, however I could not run fast enough. My classmate managed tog et saved but then a ghost caught up with me and I went from running to walking and the ghost went through my abdomen and its head slowly being pushed out of my stomach and my skin was coming off with it. The ghost changed into a ghost form of me and it was like a spirit of myself was being sucked away and it slowly came out of me and went flying into the sky at which point I woke up. I can even remember that there was a storm and everything was dark and black. |
