Can flying get boring

Can flying ever get boring? I am just wondering, because it is probably universally accepted to be the best thing, maybe along with sex, to do in a dream. What can be more fun than rushing through the air, flying in between the giant landscape below you and the clouds above you. You could probably do it night after night for years and the only reason you would try something else is out of curiosity.

It's fun if you make it fun

But you can try invisibility or you can walk through walls

Or be a super hero to make flying more entertaining.

It just never gets boring, but really nothing in a lucid dream does.

I will happily spend the precious minutes I get in a dream flying or shooting fireballs because as soon as I wake up I'm confronted with waking reality.

Greetings to you, my Dutch friend.
I would be glad to have those few minutes of lucidity because I can't even remember my dreams let alone get lucid. But I don't think flying can get boring either, I really think it is the best thing you can do, perhaps next to sex but it is so much more unstable.

I've always liked to think that when JLB invented the telly he thought it would solve all the world's problem. Now it's just routine. I think flying is the same - I think if we could fly in real life it would become routine eventually. Maybe it would become routine sooner than we think?

Yeah but the kind of flying we do in dreams is not the kind of flying that is possible in real life, I'd bet that some lders out there have better expieriences of the birds themselves. And lucid dreams are often short and unpredictable and our senses are altered in a way that is not possible in real life, so I don't see flying become boring routine in lucid dreams.

You know, some things are just so joyful that it's hard to ever get bored of, even if you are doing it over and over again. Even if you do get bored, you just need a tiny break or introduce some variety to fully enjoy it again. Things like music, sex, company of loved ones, fresh air, good food, playing games, running around, dancing. You see what I mean? For flying to become boring routine in real life it would only be because our ability to fly would be quite limited. Some things, like the ones I mentioned are the things that make life worth living and just don't become boring routine easily, and even if they do, with a little break and, or, some variety it is fun again.

Never gets boring.

After 1000's of lucids flying is still my number 1 funnest thing to do, I always get a joyful feeling from flying its very exhilarating.

It would only get boring if you let it. If you flew using the same method the same speed at the same location every night for a year, yeah I would be pretty bored. Having a very clear, lucid dream helps make it more fun and rewarding, as well.

For me, sometimes it's boring after 20+ minutes of doing it.

Really? How real did it feel and how good could you fly? Could you fly through landscape, flying up and down, feeling the accelleration in your gut while doing so, feeling the wind against your body? I don't know.. Maybe it can get boring after 20+ minutes but even then, the next night you will probably want to do another 20 minutes

Absolutely everything is exciting in a lucid dream.
Simply staring at a wall or opening a door can overwhelm you with joy and excitement.

Flying? Boring? In the same sentence? With Lucid Dreaming, it's not just the flying.. but where too? To a Different country,world, dimension? As the say "The sky's the limit"

Yeah, I think that's one of the coolest things about lucid dreaming - there are no borders, the dream keeps going on forever in all directions, and there is always something new everywhere.
