A bit more than a year.

And... I just noticed that my 1-year anniversary passed without me noticing. x)
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

well, I would always lucid dream naturally when I was younger. but since August is when I actually got into it, learned about it, and try to do it
      From my rotting body,
      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.

I've voted for 1 Month, because I have only "attempted" to lucid dream since I joined these forums.
However, I've had lucid dreams all my life, I just didn't know there were ways to improve dream recall and induce lucid dreaming.
I remember that I had many lucids as a child, but as I became older, my dream recall became worse and worse to the point where I only remembered ~1 dream a month.
      Dreams are simple.
It's the painfully simple things the human mind cannot comprehend.
After all your mind is trained to understand the complexity of the waking world,
not the simplicity of the dream world.

Wow these results are pretty interesting, could be a coincidence but I believe the large ammount of people at 6 months could be because of inception hmmm

I got into lucid dreaming about 8 years ago when I was in 6th grade and looking online for a way to avoid nightmares. Really glad I discovered it. I've never really mastered it, I've just had LDs on and off, but I've been working at it again recently and making some decent progress.

Only a week. I have not had a lucid dream yet, but I think I'm getting close.

About six months since I've most recently been trying with dedication.. but before that I tried for a few months about a year and a half ago without any success.. I just went through some boxes in my basement to give things to goodwill though, and found a journal from Sept. 2006 when I had my first ever lucid dream, which I think sparked my interest to start intentionally having them.. I read S.LaB's Lucid Dreaming when I was about 14 though and have always been interested but unfortunately didn't put any effort into it/doubted. But now, it's sweet.
