I want to be a pirate captain. |

Well obviously we are all here because we want to learn more about lucid dreaming and how we can do it ourselves. |

I want to be a pirate captain. |

I love lucid dreaming because it basically ties in everything I like. Very mind expanding and hell, who doesnt want to fly? I still havent had a fully lucid dream, but I can tell my deamenor thoughout the day is alot better over the last 2 weeks. Think all the meditation, eating better, stopping smoking that I have been doing is all tied in too of course, but I wouldnt have done those things had it not been for lucid dreaming. Sleep schedule is better than ever, hell Im doing great and I havent even started |
|
Well, we spend a third of our life sleeping. Why let it go to waste? |
|
I have just always been able to since I can remember. I started lucid dreaming when I was super young...like around 5. I would love to be able to have more control over my dreams if that is possible. Flying and jumping super high are something I like to do, or just do crazy off the wall stuff in front of people that I would NEVER do in real life haha!! |
|
I initially got into lucid dreaming because I realized how fun it could be. |
|
Oh man sliced bread IS pretty damn hard to top. |

You're reading my first forum post |

To explore other worlds and infinite possibilities. |
|
I love knowing that when I enter my dream anything could happen, my mind never ceases to surprise me with weird and wonderful things and it makes for a really good break from day to day life and lucid dreaming helps me to make them more real and sometimes more interesting. |

Well, my main goal is/was to beat up some nightmare monsters and get less nightmares, because I had plenty. But I changed this by changing the food I eat before going to bed. I don't get that many nightmares anymore. (Although they aren't gone.) |
|
Lucid dreaming goals:
Fly( )Tame a recurring wolf that has been in about 10 different dreams/nightmares ( ) Fly on a Night Fury from HTTYD ( ) Ask my subconscious why I have so many nightmares ( )
Fight agent Smith ( )Ride a huge spider to a battle against a beenest ( )
Face all of my nightmare creatures and beat them ( ) Be a god ( )
That's a funny question since I guess most of the time I'm wondering why people DON'T lucid dream. I'd say its simply the endless possibilities of being able to do anything you can imagine, that seems like the initial reason. |

To escape the real world. |

flowers shall grow
and I am in them
and that is eternity.

Basically because I'm really into history, and I want to use Lucid Dreaming to travel back to those times which I've studied and been absorbed with for hours on end. I mean, who wouldn't want to meet Ghengis Khan over a friendly cup of tea? Mathius, your goals are really awesome |
|
Just to manipulate life in general, oh and fly. |
|
To make use of my sleeping life. It's pretty worthless without at least trying to remember your dreams. |
|
1) It's exciting and fun |
|
Right now im exploring the world of beyond dreaming. Havent gotten to far yet. |
|
I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
Besides the usual reasons... I want to ask my subconscious some things and recall past DCs to ask what they mean. |
|
Adventure, whether they're memories from your past or sceneries your complex mind imagined for you. |
