First.

I was at an odd party. I knew I was dreaming, so (for Serial Dream RPG) turned it into the city of denn.
There, It looked like I had my shotgun. It didnt end well.

Where Is Denn??

I was in a large open field. There were about 5 guys around different spots of the field each doing presentations of a computer game or something. They were all dressed in their armor and after I had watched the presentations one approached me. He said he really liked my sword. I had one sword on each hip, one was a special scimitar and the other was a very fine looking but not so special short katana. The man was talking about my katana so I said he could have it if he could beat me in battle. He made his way to me, my view went to third person and I saw a man creeping around from behind. They both came on and took me to the ground, after a bit of a struggle I defeated them both and they disappeared. I picked up my swords from the ground and walked over to a friend. Soon we were in my local city running through busy intersections dodging traffic. We got to the bottom of a long street and I stopped, my friends kept going and then for some reason I realised I was dreaming. I walked over to a lady and asked her what way the town of Denn was. I was still in the middle of the city and she pointed in some direction. I could see trees the way she pointed but not enough for a forrest. I ran as fast as I could towards the trees, I ended up on all fours running flat out. I got to a tree but still in the middle of the city. I thought I should climb the tree and get a better view so I might see Denn. Shortly after climbing the tree I could hear a narrator that sounded a lot like David Attenborough talking about how monkeys were introduced from another planet many years ago. They came from a cloudless planet and didnt like it here because we are destroying the planet. Then I woke up

Havent had many lucids lately so this is good but im really disappointed I didnt make it to Denn. Most of yesterday I was incubating what I will do when I get to Denn. Im going to try to get back into my dreaming, I have to get to Denn!

NOTE: this is not actually a dream, this is what happened to me as I was falling asleep last night, so I guess the closest It would be would be hypogogaic (spelling?) imagery.

While I was falling asleep, I felt as if I had some energy blockages that would prevent me from reaching the town of Denn in my dreams, so I decided to investigate. I turned my mind's eye inward to examine the source. there appeared to be a relatively large monster blocking a portal or an opening of some kind. It realized I had noticed it and took a combative stance. I was in reploid form, because I had planned on visiting Denn. I charged in and slew it with a bit of effort with my energy blade. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, smaller enemies started appearing, they seemed to be shadows of some kind. again, I attempted to slay them with my energy blade, but their wounds would regenerate instantaneously, and there were a lot of them. they begun clinging to me, latching on with some sort of bear hug. I carved and slashed, but it was ineffective. I returned my attention to my physical body, still vaguely aware of the internal struggle. then I got an idea. I focused some energy, and siphoned it to my mind's eye body (i guess that's what you would call it). I used the energy to create a ball of light above me before they were able to suck the new energy out. they turned to ash. I tried eating the ash, but it was tasteless and dry... gross. I spat it out and willed it into the portal/hole thing in the wall that was being guarded. I immediately regretted this decision, as I felt it run down my spine, it was a very creepy sensation.

Unfortunately I have no dream recall from last night, so I'm not sure if I actually was able to visit and defend Denn or not.

I don't know if this actually counts or not... I'll post it unless someone says otherwise.

I have vague memorys of the side quest for july orcs invade den dream.

I am sitting in the brush in the forest holding a sword
I am at the edge of town near buildings
I walk through the forest and spot a group of maybe 7 or 8 orcs talking at the edge of town
I shoot an exploding arrow at one
It kills them all
Many orcs come after me
I run through the forest and hide inside a bush
I hear them searching for me around for a long time and they eventually give up and go away
I go through a window of a building
I look through a window and see a group of orcs gathered in the streets
I sit on the floor next to the window and smoke a cigarette
I put it out and take out a pistol and unload on the group of orcs through the window
A couple run at me but I kill them before they reach the window
I climb through the broken window
I see orcs far down the road at both sides
I summon the sword I was holding before
I walk towards the ones at my right
I make my sword bigger
I sword fight four of them at once
I slash one in the face
As I'm blocking an attack from one another hacks me through my back
I just force the sword out my back and heal my wound instantly
I turn around ( I am pissed)
I lift up my hand and make him burst into flames
He squeels and growls as he dies
I look around and the all start to back away confused and scared
I turn one into a ice block
Another I shock to death with lightning sending him flying backwards
they all start to run
I rise into the air and turn into a demon. A purple demon that is extremely ripped with large bat wings.
I am sick of this and decide to leave
I fly and sit on the roof of a building or maybe it was some kind of house
I smoke a joint
I lie down and stare at the sky for awhile
I am really tripping out
the sky seems to warp and change colors plus my high feels pretty intense
I fall asleep on the roof

I was not lucid.

I found myself walking through the forrest in the land of Aud. It was a thick forrest and quite dark as the trees didnt let a lot of light onto the forrest floor. The trees were very tall and there was a creepy feeling about. I was with my brother and a guy I didnt know, I dont really remember seeing what my brother looked like but the other guy was short and very solid, I believe he was a dwarf.

Instead of my customary weapons I had a short bow. It was made out of wood and didnt look anything special. I was holding a bamboo arrow ready at my side. The other guy also had a bow, his was even shorter than mine and barely even resembled a bow. It was more like a slightly bent, thick chunck of wood.

I took the lead over a small creek and up a slight incline. The track got steeper and at the top were some small coins and other junk. Nothing of any real value. We walked off and very shortly came across a dwarf couple. They were very nice and told us if we could bring them some dragon hide that they could cover our weapons or armor with it to make them far stronger. The other guy said this was not a problem getting the dragon hide but something else was a bigger problem than that, I dont remember what it was. We walked off and the dream slowly faded and I woke up.

I decided to visit my inner world last night before I fell asleep, it has been months since I was there last, so I felt like I should drop by for a visit.

My inner world is a vast ocean, water stretching as far as the eye can see, but at the same time, it is guarded by the iron sphere it is encased in. there is a house I've never entered, and an island that serves as the only known landmass in the sea.

When I entered, the first thing I noticed was the island was gone, sunken into the ocean. I set to work repairing the shield, as it had fallen apart since I stopped wearing my charm. after a few minutes of pumping energy into the shield, I decided now was as good as any to explore the house that was built so long ago, yet never entered. I opened the front door and... blackness, the entire room was filled with some kind of thick black void. I tried changing it to an easier to recognize form, and had half-materialized the room, when several bug-like entities entered into my awareness. I punched one out of the shield, damaging the insect severely, teleported after it, and set it on fire. the other insect, centipede like, attempted to attack me from behind. I punched it, crippling it, and set it on fire. I re-entered the shield and repaired the small hole.

I returned to the house and decided to change the paint color. I mentally cycled through some colors, until I decided on a tan color.

Something wrapped around my leg and pulled me under the water.

The view was magnificent, as the sun shone through the water, I forgot I was being attacked. whatever was pulling me down impaled me on a spiked wall, draining a significant portion of my energy, rendering me barely able to move, as well as reminding me of the situation. The entity that dragged me down was right in front of me now, it was an advanced form of big daddy from the bioshock series. It's drill was moving towards me slowly, to intimidate or scare me, or both. I threw a blast of ice at its face, causing it to recoil. I tried doing a combo punch or something, but I still couldn't move my body. the ice melted, and it tried to drill me again. knowing I wouldn't be able to attack it physically, I summoned a pistol and shot it in the face, knocking off the helmet. I saw its face, a puppy. I figured this was to distract me, I wasted no time, I pulled out a shotgun and blasted it to oblivion. it's body floated to the ocean floor.

I was exhausted in both body and mind by this point in time, so I rolled over and fell asleep.

Damn that was annoying, I'm walking around my house and suddenly I'm thinking about my underwater inner world, then I'm in it.

The armored figure had a lot of friends, I had caught glimpses, but I didn't believe it, I was exploring the ocean floor, there were apperantly dead armored figures everywhere. they came to life, I gutted one of them after I opened its armor with an exploding ice crystal. I knew there were too many to fight, the were all relatively powerful, I switched to reploid form and Jetted to the surface of the water, they grabbed my feet and tried to pull me down, I yanked them out with me, as a giant spherical mass of enemies. I threw them out of the shield, attached thrusters to them, and forced them out a portal that I think went to the moon. I now have a headache from closing the portal behind them, and the worst part is there may still be more of the fuckers.

July side quest

I focused my intent very strongly last night, I think a bit too strongly perhaps, because I don't remember much of anything, but I did get this.

I am in a forest next to a small hill, it seems to be a clearing of sorts, but there are some sparse trees in the immediate area. I have the impression of an orc face, but that's about it.

I'm going to try again either way, but I think I may have done it.

I was in HH, practicing different attacks, I shot ice blasts from my blaster, they came back and damaged me, I yanked an Ice shard out of my skull, it cracked apart to reveal an energy sword (It was a BIG ice chunk). It has blue crackling lightning arouind a blunt metal core, I seem to be able to charge the blade untill the lightning appears solid blue. there are several bits sticking out at the guard? (the part between the handle and the blade) that remind me of the master sword.

I was walking through an old torn down industrial area. It was quiet, there was nobody around and for some reason I thought I was dreaming. I pinched my nose and it failed. It was the first time the nose pinch had ever failed me! I glanced at my hand quickly and put it back down by my side. I thought something was a little strange and glanced back at my hand to see six fingers! I grew an extra finger out of my hand just to make sure. Yup, I was lucid. I couldnt remember my goal and walked for a little while trying to remember. Then I remembered I wanted to go to Denn! I looked around and there was a forrest only 100 meters away. I ran towards it flat out. The forrest was more of a swap and had large platforms elevated at least 10 meters above the swamp. I started onto the platforms and made my way into the forrest.The swamp looked a lot like this only it had far wider platforms and was higher off the ground.



It was layed out in what seemed like a large grid. I wanted to memorise the layout I was in so I could draw it when I woke up but I didnt do a good enough job. I ran up a little stairway onto a slightly higher platform and then back down the other side. I ran right past a guard of some sort. He had basic but nice looking leather armor and a long spear. After running past him I ducked down behind a chair. I could see him through a rather large gap in the chair. However he could see me too. He slid his spear towards me. I grabbed it and as he pushed it in for the kill. I adjusted my weight and lifted my feet from the ground. As he pushed the spear in it simply pushed my body with it. I flew back safely, out of reach of his spear. He came in again and this time I doged it then grabbed the spear again and pulled it in towards me. With his thrust already sending him forwards he came tumbling down infront of me where I kicked him out cold. I turned around the make a stealthy escape but there was another. I easily took care of him, typical guards with no skill at all. After finishing him off I turned around to see two more, one on each side of me. I wasnt worried, they were no threat. As I still didnt have a weapon I used the same technique as the first two, dodging their attacks which was very fun and a lot more interesting with two at the same time. When the opportunity arrived I pulled them both in and kicked them into submission. As I started to make my escape I woke up into an FA.

I am crouching by a fire in a lush forest in reploid form, trying to get my body to fall asleep, and waiting for a friend of mine to appear who happens to be interested in the RPG. I think I see them, but I realize it's just my mind playing tricks on me and I will them away, they dissapear.

I had just finished forming my reploid form around myself and felt a surge of power and pride. I was about to enter the forest and wait at our campsite by the fire so we could fight some orcs together, but it didn't work.
Instead, I was pulled into some sort of room, It would have been cozy had the place felt so uneasy, it was lit by a fireplace, there was a skeleton man sitting in a chair turned away from me, I knew he was a skeleton man because I caught glimpses of him from behind the chair. He was saying something incomprehensible, (although I have trouble understanding speech in HH) He started laughing like an evil villan and the room fell apart. I began falling. I tried jetting out of the place, but the gravity was no use, I tried using the teleportation unit, but it didn't work either.
Out of nowhere, the skeleton man, or a skeleton warrior of some kind, planted daggers into my shoulder blades, dislodging my arms, and struck me somewhere else that I don't remember, rendering my legs usless, and me unable to move.
Another entity, A large, warrior type creature walked up to me and took my energy sword, I could do nothing. This angered me, I may have shouted something, but if I did, he didn't react. I tried to move, to attack him, but I was broken, and he was getting further away. I looked at my body and realized how extensive the damage was. I summoned all the strength I could and pulled myself together (literally) and charged the energy sword on his back. I leaped, grabbed the energy sword, and drove it into his spine. he tried to take a swipe at me, but I was gone. I attacked again, we had a brief teleport exchange. I won by the skin of my teeth, but I won, and sheathed my energy sword.

Spoiler for Dream:

I am fighting something in a forest, I don't remember seeing the face of the enemy I am fighting, but I am fairly sure they are orcs. I come across S, I loan her a spare energy sword so she may fight with more efficiency. I have vague memories of receiving it again after the battle.

-Later on?-

I am walking around up behind my house on my brother's paper route, I notice there is something on my back, I reach for it and pull it out, It's a well made boffing sword (foam sword made for practicing combat without as much pain as wooden swords, or something like that) It's almost too long to wield in one hand, but not quite. It has a skull for a hilt, but otherwise looks like a prop version of my energy sword with a gray and white Halloween color scheme. I draw the other blade, It has the same theme, but much less ornate. I notice how akward it would be for me to fight with two swords, but I don't do anything about it for now. I sheathe my swords, noticing it to be a bit difficult to sheathe the first sword I drew, due to its length, and continue on my way.

I accidentally WILDed last night and got a bit closer to Denn.

As I begin to fall asleep I imagine a scenery I want to go to. I see a forest from above. There's a tall tower there. (Now that I think of it, that sounds familiar.) "In this faraway land, without the tower," I say. The tower disappears. "Something great is about to happen." My view moves a little to the right, revealing a village surrounded by a wooden wall. "The town of Denn, constantly under attack by Orcs and other things." The view returns to the area the tower left when it disappeared. "In this grove a hero is about to awaken in front of a mirror." Then I am standing in front of a mirror. I see my reflection. I try to summon my keyblades. No luck. And the dream ends. (Or begins from the start.) This time when I see the grove, I'm playing some game. I control my character to follow some guy who gives me new powers once I reach him. Finally he gives me my weapons. Two yellow lightsabers. The dream starts again. I'm still playing some game. I summon my keyblades. One of them has a skull on the handle on one side, and a photograph of a thunderstorm on the other. It's blade is colored red and black. The other one is yellow. It has a large ellipse-shaped part after the handle with a skull on it. The dream ends and I go through many FAs.

Damn gaming dreams, controlling a character ain't too fun in a lucid. But I still almost got to Denn.

I think I bought something from the store? I wish I remembered what it was.

I am in front of a checkout stand at a supermarket of some kind, It has a high ceiling, and it reminds me of Walmart a bit. I don't remember what I am buying, but I reach into my pocket and pull out a penny/button, a paper clip, and a string. Being slightly embarrassed at the lack of money, I swipe a card in the credit card swiper thing. the total rings out to 0.00. I am confused by this, it reminds me of the Denn rpg, but I forget when the clerk says, "that'll cost you nothing."

Attempt at re-visiting Aud.

Spoiler for Lucid Dream:

I am in my house, in the kitchen. I am lucid. I feel the wooden floor with my feet, then the carpet on the stairs. The dream feels real. My brother and dad are there, I tell them they are dreaming, they believe me (they are just dream characters though, I can tell now). I practice instant transmission. I do a front flip and at the apex of the jump I instant transmission to a landing. I instant transmission to the other side of the room, and turn around into a wall, because I had already turned around mid-transmission.

I remembered a dream goal, I ran upstairs, feeling the smooth wooden floor and the carpet with my bear feet. I touched the wall and with my hand resting on it, I shouted, "I WISH TO ENTER THE LAND OF AUD!" nothing...
I ran into my room, looking at my form in the mirror, I considered donning my reploid form, but I felt I did not have the energy to do so without waking up. I put my hand on the mirror and shouted, in a voice that sounded slightly squeeky, "I WISH TO ENTER THE LAND OF AUD!" again, nothing.

I went downstairs and the dream faded to the view of my eyes closed. I recalled the dream for a bit, then sat up, noticing the difference in the amount of power I felt from the dream and my physical body, I immediately knew the amount of intention and energy it would take to visit Aud upon waking, and it was slightly more than the amount I had at my disposal in the dream, I felt a power surge in my right arm, the one that I felt the mirror with in the dream.

Town of Denn
(...) I decide to do the RPG task and decide to jump on the crater and use it as a portal for the RPG dream. I close my eyes on the jump and when feel my feet on the ground I open my eyes and I’m there!.
At first I found it a bit different from what was supposed. I mean, the sky was bright blue, the houses of the village were all white and there was a general sense was of a happy sunny place. In front of me, downhill, I could see beautiful planes and hay stacks. On my left I saw these streets with white houses aligned downhill. On my back there was the main entrance to the village – through an arch, leading to a higher hill on top of which there was this big white building that at first looked like a church, but it had banners and flags and was for sure a fortress or castle.



On my right also downhill there was an alignment of stands covered by tents, of what looked like a medieval fair. This fair stretched to the main entrance of the village with a few open air stands. That’s when I realised: this is the town of Denn, although in my version it looks a lot like the traditional villages from the Alentejo province in the South of Portugal.



Lots of people were moving around, all dressed in medieval clothes and I approached one stand to see what they were selling. I have no idea what it was, but now in retrospective, it might have been arrows – they had boxes full of these pointy metallic spikes with what seemed to be tiny dragon wings on their back tip. Don’t know. Then I saw a mirror on one stand and decided to see myself there. That’s when I realized I had my normal look, wearing an aquamarine dress. No! I had to enter my character, so I looked for a more private place with a mirror to change myself. I entered the main village street, right behind the stands. There was a kind of tunnel on my left, between houses, leading to an inner court and because there was nobody around, I went inside and found a room that by chance was full of “antiques” – I guess in this context, they were useful working instruments - including a large mirror. The light was very dim, but I could see my reflexion quite well so I started changing my look to my warrior me. It all turned out quite well, but for some reason My face also changed and I was now a red haired girl with a long braid and tiny brown eyes. I was cute, but a bit annoyed of not looking more like myself – I wanted black hair and big brown eyes. It took me some time, but I finally got it. Meanwhile I think I lost very precious time. I need to be less obsessed about how I look and just keep going.
At this point a guy comes in and I realize he is the king! And he is totally drunk. I wonder what is a king doing drunk in such a place, that looks like the back rooms of the servants – oh, maybe I actually know...
He starts hitting on me, saying he never saw me before but that I’m hot. I avoid him, moving around the room and he is insisting, trying to catch me. He thinks that my running around is my way to arouse him. I feel tired of this, want to go look for the tavern, when a group of people come inside all worried. They were looking for the king, afraid he was doing something stupid (as he was). As they try to grab him and take him away, I decide to sneak out before they start asking questions.
I go deeper into a hallway I find connecting to other deeper rooms and I think I found some kind of kitchen.[/B]



Everybody is so busy carrying stuff from one place to the other, it’s very hot and there are these servant boys taking a rest in a very dark corner with a few wooden benches.
I sit with them for a while, no one ask me questions as they are either too busy or just plain tired, but then I wake up.

I feel amazed with the originality, the beauty and the detail of this cartoon reality I landed on. After a while I remember I should look for the forest but then how to get there? I don’t want to use another portal because on my last jump I almost woke up. Then I see a subway station and I think maybe I can take the metro and imagine the last stop is in the forest. But I also think that will take too long and I’ll loose lucidity by then. As I think of solutions, Hermione Granger from Harry Potter appears in front of me and handles me some candies of various colours she says are magical. Each of the colours are related to a place dominated by those colours. So if I wish to go to the woods, I should take a green one. I thank for the gift and I store the candies in a pouch. Unfortunately I don’t have enough time to take the green candy because I loose lucidity and just continue roaming in the town for a while.

When I stop I am on top of a hill over the Town of Denn. There’s an earth road spiralling through some stone walled terraced gardens to the centre of the town. I see farmers working, I see people taking water from a well, I see merchants, etc. People are dressed in very colourful medieval clothes, mostly in brown, green and wine tones. There’s a lot of activity going on and I would have loved to just observe it, but I must not let it distract me or I will not finalize my task. I fly down over the city centre but I only stop at the outside walls to look around into the woods. Where to look for the treasure? It could be anywhere. I decide to go to an area where the fortress walls are breached. It’s as good as anywhere else and it is the place where the forest outside is more dense. But once I’m there I have no clue where to dig. I just try to follow my instinct. I see a stone at the very end of the wall, which looks completely different from the rest. It is whitish and smooth. I clear the dirt from it and find some inscriptions as if it is from a tomb. It clearly doesn’t belong there. I lift it up, hopeful to find something under it. I find nothing, just more dirt, but I decide to dig right there. But then when I turned the stone over to put it on the floor, I noticed some concavity on it and inside it I found a small box. I get it out and it seems made of plaster, because it is white and light. But it ain’t soft and malleable like plaster. It has some high relief patterns carved and some rest of paint in pinkish and bluish tones. The drawing looks like a Mayan design On the bottom right of this strange box there is a round button. I press it and it opens in two pieces. The two pieces have more carved drawings, on the left plaque more patterns, like stylized roses and crosses inside circles and on the right plaque carvings of animals, like a whale, a moose and you name it, floating between clouds in the sky and coming down to earth. The plaques then split up into 5 and then 10 parallelepiped pieces. But it wasn’t broken, it was some automated mechanism. I then started moving these little parallelepiped pieces in my hand and found out they were magnetic and could be put together again in different combinations. They kind of naturally started to rearrange themselves into a different sequence and formed completely new designs. On the left plaque there was now some kind of reddish monstrous creature and on the right plaque a different kind of yellowish monstrous creature with what seemed to be a monstrous robotic dog under his command. I was like “What is this about?” Then I realised there were probably many more combinations of the plates which would explain who these creatures were and what was the meaning of all this and what this thing was for. But I started to slip out of the dream and I woke up.
I didn't need to fight, but I felt something approaching me when I woke up. Something was coming to offer some resistance to my prospection. It's sad I didn't manage to stay longer.

I don’t go outside, because on a side door I notice this warehouse connects to a market. It’s an indoors supplier market. It’s really early morning and they are preparing the boxes with food to be shipped to the merchants. I look for the strange fruit I’m supposed to find and I do see among pears and apples, a few boxes of something that looks like a mango, but with spikes. It looks like the picture posted by WakingNomad on DV, but it is not pink, it is reddish and yellowish like a mango. I feel it might be it, but I insist in looking around a bit more, to see if I find some other weirder fruit. I don’t, so I pick up one of those strange mangos. Unfortunately some guy appears complaining that I shouldn’t be there and escorts me out. He distracts me from my intent to eat the fruit and I wake up. Grrrrr…….

Market of Denn - part II: Eating the fruit and becoming a dragon
(...) I enter one of the elevators and imagine it taking me to the same supplier market in Denn, where I was last time. The elevator drops me at a very busy cargo entrance area. I get out of the way of men carrying heavy loads to outside where merchants stands are selling produce to the villagers.
I immediately see the strange fruit I’m supposed to eat on a fruit stand. I choose a small one and eat it. I keep walking around waiting to see if anything happens (it’s supposed to give me some new magical power) but nothing happens. I then find a stand where people gather around, very agitated and I go check what’s up. It’s more of those fruits, but here they look bigger and better and are being served already cut and clean for free to the villagers. Two girls approach me and ask me what is it about. By the way they are so “defined” and “lucid” I realize they are dreamers. I tell them there’s a task on DV to come here and eat this fruit, which is supposed to give us new powers. They enjoy that, they say they also wanna give it a try and then we all grab some fruits to eat.
Once we are served, we gather on the left side of this stand where they meet a third girl friend and they ask me more about DV. I first ask for their names and tell them mine. One girl says she is called what I perceived as“Lollena”and the other what I perceive as “Sino”(as in Portuguese for “bell”; the equivalent sound in English would be“xenu”). The third girl to my left looks blocked, as if she couldn’t remember her name, so I continue to explain what is DV and give them the url. Then the third girl finally says something. She tells me that she (or they?) is user of some other dream website and she tells me the name of it. First it sounded like Dreampaws, which I know exists, but I asked her to repeat and it wasn’t that, although it was something similar, like maybe Dreampush (which I found later on waking up, that also exists). I’m not sure though, because it became fuzzy on waking up.
Then we walk around the town and they ask me about the super-power. I say I don’t know what it is and I also haven’t felt anything different yet. We try telekinesis, morphing objects, etc, and it all goes very well, but I say I already had all these powers before, so it can’t be it.
Then we hear people scream and we see a big pinkish tornado coming right to the centre of the town. We combine efforts and we try to break the tornado apart. I see to my right another guy who is also trying to do it, so we are at least 5 people doing it. Soon the tornado fades away and is but a large pink cloud in the sky. People are cheering us and I lose the girls in the middle of the crowd. When I meet them again later (only the two girls with names) at the entrance of a tavern down a street, they had just been approached by some bullies and one of them sobs while the other comforts her. She admits to her friend that she owes money to those guys and don’t know what to do. I pass by them and remind them we’re just in a dream, but they seem to have lost lucidity for good, so I keep going. It’s when I start feeling the effect of the fruit!
I feel my body changing, my neck elongating, I walk in four limbs and then I spread my “arms” and I feel like I have wings. I flap them and slowly elevate in the air. I am still fundamentally human shaped, but I think I am becoming a dragon! It is hard to deal with this new body and I wobble a little bit in the air. At some point I lose balance all together and fall down on the floor. I think I come back to my human form.
On the floor, I am facing the end of the street, which is the end of the town and I see a huge looming creature crawling in my direction. It’s another dragon.
I immediately remember the talk I had with my dad during the day. He had asked me if I fear dragons when I meet them in my dreams and I had said no, in general they are friendly. But this one has a really dark energy and I immediately felt really scared. I run back to the town, looking for a place to take cover and hide. He steps up, trying to catch me and I only have time to duck under a wagon to my left and I see the dragon passing right by my side. He circulates the wagon and hits it repeatedly. I know it’s a matter of time until he turns it over. For some reason I am really scared and convinced I can’t beat this dragon. So when he is about to grab me with his claws, I decide to wake up.
Since this dream, I was able again to transform into a dragon in other dreams. I already manage to fly perfectly well and I can spit fire and ice and I've burned and frozen a few bad guys!

Fighting the evil me in the mirror
(...) By the way, I'm not going to do the mirror task, because I already did it, way before the setting of this task. Some night, months ago, I just met my evil me on the other side of the mirror when I was lucid and decided to face it, unlike other previous times, where I got scared and looked away. She grabbed me to pull me inside the mirror, but I pulled her back and she came out the mirror. We fought and I killed it with a big sword "she" was carrying along. It felt as if I was killing a part of myself (I guess I was). As I cut through my other me flesh, she started to rot and become dust, while loudly screaming. It felt really raw and very gore. I guess the sword I took from her could be considered as the gift.

After the Manjushri sword
(...) I just flew out of the window and left him behind. It was late night and pitch dark. I landed on the top of a building and I did some tricks to stabilize the LD. Found out a new way to keep myself anchored - chewing gum! The sensation of taste and texture helps stabilizing the LD and it's something you can keep doing during the entire dream.
Once I felt anchored I used a door as a portal to the town of Denn. I landed on what looked like a fancy mall instead of the outdoors market, but every time I've been there it looked different, so I embraced it. I looked at my reflection in a mirror and adjusted my look - there I was in my black boots, black leggings, red corset, long dark hair and samurai blade.
I looked for the weapons' stands and I found a lady selling what seemed to be tibetan buddhist knifes and swords, with vajras on the grip and beautiful turquoise ornaments. I immediately knew what I wanted, so I asked her if she had the sword of Manjushri.
Manjushri is the wisdom Buddha, who holds in his right hand a sword with burning flames at the end of the blade. This sword is said to represent the realization of transcendent wisdom which cuts down ignorance and duality.

She seemed apprehensive with my request and started talking very fast in a foreign language - sometimes sounded like german, other times sounded like russian. I asked her what she meant, but she didn't want to have anything to do with me anymore. She started talking to other customers and putting me aside. I was baffled.
Then some guy pulled me over a corner and told me he knew where this sword was. He told that this sword was in the hands of some rich noble guy who got it (stole it?) for his private collection. He gave me his name and the land where he lived and then disappeared. I guess there was more about this sword going on, than I initially expected. There were different interests pulling it in different directions. This guy probably was using me to get the sword, but I wouldn't let it keep it anyway.
I used another door as portal to this other land and landed on a beach, where people were gathered for some kind of local festivity. It was a beautiful day, but it was ruined by a water spout that formed close to the shore. It worked as a wake up call for me, as it forced me to take cover in the city and reminded me of my mission.
I noticed when looking up at the sky, that there was a suspended bridge - almost like a suspended tunnel - over the city, high up in the clouds. It was metallic with big glass panoramic windows and branched in several directions. It was used for traveling to different parts of the town and to neighboring towns. I flew up there and looking down I tried to feel in my guts where the guy's house might be. I was amazed by the beautiful landscape below. I thought: "it looks just like a Hayao Miyazaki film" and it did! There were green fields with geometric forms, interspersed with colorful cottages of different shapes and sizes, all around the city center. When I finally tuned in to the house of the guy, I left myself fall down from the suspended tunnel through the clouds and with that I teleported myself to inside his home.
But this time I had to be smarter. I couldn't just appear there, so I actually entered the body of his daughter, who was about to wake up in her room. She opened her eyes and I was seeing through her eyes. She was in her pajamas and I used her body to open the door and explore the rest of the house. I saw her dad ("so, this is the guy?") on the dining room drinking coffee and reading some papers. The mom was busy walking around between dining room and kitchen and said good morning to me. There was also one or two boys, probably the brothers, roaming around. I looked inside each room, trying not to look like a stranger to this house. The mother however noticed my strange behavior and I excused myself with being looking for something.
When she left me alone I found the dad's office and saw a bunch of swords and knifes near his desk. I looked at each and every one and took some out of their cover, but none was the one I wanted. Then I was caught in flagrant by the guy, with a sword in my hand. He looked me in the eyes and he knew. He asked me "who are you? who sent you?". I tried to disguise "what do you mean, dad? it's me!". But he wouldn't buy it. Things were getting ugly and by then I had already figured out the sword wasn't there. I had found on my exploration that they had a country house somewhere else and the sword was probably hidden there. The guy was threatening me and I was loosing lucidity, so I decided this dream wasn't going anywhere anyway, so I woke up.

I found out some of the powers I apparently bought from the store (according to nomad's dream) now I just need to go back and remember getting them this time.

I am playing Megaman X, I notice powers that I have never seen in the game before:

Shield -puts up a defensive steel barrier between you and your enemy, it can be suspended in the air.

The hover ability has been improved, now it's more of a rocket boot that enables flight.

"Volcano" -did not get a chance to use this ability, sounds devastating...

Speed up -my running speed is dramatically increased, used during the boss fight.

Multiple different colored shots fired in many different directions (unnamed?)

Warp drive -I warp in rapid succession, skipping points in space, making it incredibly difficult to hit me.

Bow -launches an arrow

as well as some of the abilities from the game

Electric Spark -shoots a ball of electricity, can be charged to create a shockwave

Shotgun ice -Shoots a large, spiked chunk of ice, shatters when hitting a wall or enemy and rockets multiple shards of ice in the opposite direction, causing damage to anything except me standing in the way.

I make my way through the level, the enemies provide little challenge, my main interest is to test out some of my weapons, I notice that the weapon selection grid is packed with more powers than normal, normally it's 5X5, there appear to be at least double that now, as well as the ability to use two shots at the same time.

I reach the boss room, the wall drops, and shuts me in. the boss is a giant metal plant. I test out a few more of my powers, mostly the evasive ones. I take a few shots at the enemy, but since I'm focusing more on evading attacks, I don't do a lot of damage to the boss, it whittles down my health little by little here and there, until I wake up.

I didn't complete my task, so no 'Warrior' title for me yet, but I did get into character and have a confrontation with a posse of outlaws.

I stop and stabilize, rubbing my hands together. The hand-rubbing thing is actually a fairly new thing for me to try, so I do it vigorously, really paying attention to how well it works, how well I stabilize. I decide to get in character for my Dream RPG. I turn away from the large windows in the hotel lobby, get a picture in my head of what I should look like, then turn back to the windows to see my reflection.. Wide-brimmed brown hat, white button-up linen shirt, brown leather pants.. looks pretty good. I also have leather straps around my shoulders, which appear to be some sort of holster/weapons storage.. I didn't explicitly try to create this, but it is definitely in keeping with the character.

I know my task is to find the market in Denn and get some armor and a weapon, but for some reason I go ahead and imagine a sawed-off shotgun in my hands.. and it's there. I practice firing it a bit, but there is no muzzle fire and bullet coming out. I have had this problem before, where I had to explicitly imagine the bullet firing for it to work. In the previous lucid, once I imagined it right the first time, it became automatic. This time, however, I seem to be having trouble doing so.

After a few practice shots, I see some outlaws approaching the hotel from the sidewalk. As I still haven't gotten the gun working yet, I retreated around a corner and up some stairs, still trying to get the gun working. I know that I just have to believe it will fire, but at this point I think I'm mostly convinced I'm not gonna be able to get it working. The posse comes around the corner and I aim at them and fire.. The trigger clicks and there is a slight recoil, but no projectile.. As they get to point-blank range and I still haven't been able to get a shot off, I wake up.

Giant white wolfs

(...) Eventually I headed to my hometown. I lived some adventures down the way, but nothing worth mentioning. What matters is that eventually I got lucid there and I flew up in the air to absorb the detailed landscape from above while deciding what to do with my LD.
I landed on top of a large concrete building on top of a hill and I planned to pursue my latest adventure of getting the sword of Manjushri from the guy who had it. But as I was summoning a portal to go to the land of Aud, two giant white wolves appeared out of nowhere, growling and looking for a way to get me. I felt safe, because I was on top of a building, but then I noticed there was a ramp on the back of the building, from the hill directly to this rooftop, which I could swear wasn't there before. They were getting really close and I decided to jump through the portal I had opened, although I hadn't clearly figured where I wanted to land.
Anyway, I think I landed in Aud, I just didn't know exactly what part of it. It was a rough landing. I fell on the ground with my bottom. Everything was pitch dark and I realized it was night. I could feel grass under my hands and hear a murmur of water to my right side. I was afraid the wolves could have crossed the portal to, but after a while of hearing no threatening sound, I was rest assured I was all by myself. I cringed against a warm rock waiting for the morning. When the sky started to light up I saw I was on some prairie, with a lake and a forest in the horizon. I guessed the forest was the one around the town of Denn, but before I could even make plans about what to do next, I started waking up...

Full DJ entry: Successful Portal + Failed Waterwalking + Weirdness in the Market of Denn

I wanted to continue my quest in the Land of Aud, so I attempted to make a portal that would take me to the Market in Denn.

As I watched, a blue mist began to materialize before me in the air, expanding into a circle about 4 feet in diameter. I closed my eyes and backed through the portal (for some reason, at the time this method of entering seemed like the most promising for success )

It worked! When I backed through the portal, the sounds around me changed, the temperature changed, and when I opened my eyes, I was in the marketplace in Denn! The sky went from clear and pink-orange to cloudy and purple. There were small shops criss-crossed by dirt paths, with small rectangular pools of water smattered about. I walked over to a pool and looked at my reflection. I wasn't in character, so I changed into my brown wide-brimmed hat, white linen shirt, and brown leather pants. It's getting much easier to do this.

Because I've been having a tough time walking on water (made 2 attempts even before it was the TOTM), I decided to give it a quick go while I was staring at some... and failed. and failed. and then said screw it!

Now, I needed some armor and a weapon. I ducked down an alley and found several aisles of armor. I walked down a couple of them, surveying the selection. There was mail, plate, boiled leather, and things I had never seen before, all in crazy colors (even polka dot). I found some burnt-orange colored armor that looked interesting. It looked almost like a robotic suit of armor, but lightweight.

As I slipped my legs into the bottom part, they snapped tightly around my legs, forming to the contours and glowing slightly. They were lightweight but felt very study. I still had great flexibility. I put on the breastplate and gauntlets (this was all hanging together as one suit), and began to jump around and move, testing the armor. I was able to move like I had nothing on, but I felt incredibly well-protected, and everything was lightly glowing a dark orange. There was a helmet but I decided I didn't need it.

I remembered that I needed a weapon. I realized that the armor I was wearing resembled the 'shardplate' armor suits that I had read about in The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson. In that book, shard bearers (those wearing the shardplate) were able to summon a shardblade with their minds. I closed my eyes, took three slow breaths (actually, I think it takes 10 breaths in the books, but this didn't deter me at the time), and opened my eyes as I felt something in my right hand.

I was holding the grip of a brilliant orange sword, glowing. The blade came out of the grip and curved around my hand and out in front of me. It was about 3.5 feet long and looked kinda like the sword from Halo. I took a few practice swipes, and it whistled as it sliced through the air. I just stood there for a few minutes, sort of in awe at the whole situation.. feeling pretty invincible

It was time to find a beast to slay! I took off back up the alley I had ducked into to find the armor. When I reached the place where the broad street had been before, it was now a stream bordered on the other side by a forest. I headed in a trot and made a flying leap to cross the stream.. and woke up.. d'oh!

I've started my own quest in the land of Aud, parallel to the "official" script. It became a world of its own

Confronting the villain who has Manjushri sword
(...) As we walk down some suburban-like residential street, for no reason whatsoever I realize I'm dreaming! I turn to them and inform them we're dreaming and that I'm lucid. Analaurus smiles and says "Good for you! Don't waste this chance!"
I smile back at Analaurus and say I just have to recall what is my latest assignment. I almost wake up then (and I almost woke up 3 or 4 times along the rest of the dream), but managed to come back from the limbo before really waking up. Once stable on the dream, I remember I was supposed to go back to the land of Aud, to the unknown village in the countryside where that guy kept the sword of Manjushri hidden in his property, which should be a castle with a guarded tower. Because my anchorage to the dream isn't the most solid, I decide to use the whirling teleportation technique instead of opening a portal. I whirl and when I stop I am at the entrance of the said village. It looks similar to Denn, in which the houses are mostly bright white, but here the buildings are less humble and some are actually pretty awesome. Many of them have towers. It reminds me of Bologna in RL, because of the number of regular houses with big towers on it. I think "It's going to be hard to find the one I'm looking for.", but it should be the bigger or the most impressive one, as this guy is sort of the richer and more powerful around here. I see a very tall pyramidal like wooden structure in the center of a square, composed of three legs supporting a small platform on the top - like some kind of watching tower - and I climb up one of the legs. From the top platform I look around for something unequivocal. That's when I see a hill behind me with a small castle on top. I immediately know it is there. I fly most of the way, but right at the end I simply climb the last bit of the hill, feeling the soil on my feet and hand.
I had planned to fly directly into the tower, to avoid the guards on the door, but I find the front door open and can't resist to sneak in. I don't see anybody. It may be a trap, but the inside of the fortress leaves me speechless and I just forget about any precautions. I go inside and explore it, going up the floors. There's an eerie atmosphere, dark yet luminous. Although there are walls and floors, they are made of a white metallic labyrinthine grid which emanates an invisible shield that fills the in-betweens, so we can see through it. The entire place looks like one big hollow building, despite the floors and divisions. Even the external walls are of this material, so we can see to the outside, although from the outside we see only a regular stone wall. I've reached what seems to be the top floor, which is totally empty and I'm looking through the wall to the outside, absolutely mesmerized, when I notice a dark figure passing by. I look around and see a guy dressed in black, long black hair, evaluating me from head to toes. He is immediately followed by the guy that I recognize as being my true rival. He is dressed in a black suit and looks a lot like the actor Daniel Craig. He is very calm, almost zen-calm and causes quite an impression on me.
He noticed I was impressed with the place, so he tells me the former owner was a guy with a phobia for closed places, who had a constant burning sensation in his body, so he needed to feel like he was always on open air with the breeze passing through. That's when I notice that I can indeed feel the wind blowing as if there were absolutely no walls. Marvelous technology.
Then he tells his assistant to spread the blue powder. I don't know what he is talking about, but when the guy throws a blue powder to the center of this room we're at, I notice the air shimmering and slowly the shape of a sword appears floating in the air, at the level of my eyes, roughly two meters away from me. The sword was hidden behind a camouflage shield and I would have never guessed if he hadn't shown me. He knows what I am coming for and he is interested in playing the game with me. We keep our 2 or 3 meters distance, still evaluating each other, not wanting to rush things up. Then his assistant hands him a sort of neck collar that also emanates a type of force shield and he tells me that if I accept putting in on my neck, he won't hurt me - he really doesn't seem to want to. I know that neck will totally immobilize me, so there's no way I accept the offer. He seems pretty convinced that I can't beat him, but I am pretty convinced that I can. He then asks me exactly who I am and why I want this sword so bad that I am willing to die for it. I tell him my story and then I reply that I do not intend to die. He says that if I'm so sure I won't die, at least someone will be killed in the end - he kinda insinuates without words if I want to carry that load around. But I don't feel any anger for him, I even kind of admire the guy. So I tell him I also don't intend to kill anybody. I will simply recover the sword to hand it back to its rightful owner.
Then I wake up.

I'm dreaming I tell myself. I am now fully lucid. "What to do?" I think to myself. Then suddenly I know what I want to do. I want to get to Den to complete my next mission. I'm still flying. I decide to try to open portals for the first time. I decided to try. I'm trying to rip the air but it's not working (DAMN). I then trace the atmosphere with my two fingers making a circle for the portal. It still doesn't work (GRRR!). Then I take out a sword from my side like a knight and slash it 3 times then make a portal using the sword. Suddenly a portal appears in front of me inside a mirror. I walked up to it. I decided that onstead of going through it I want to try something with a mirror. I want to go to someone’s dream and ask for permission. I know just the person. I think of my first ex because I never got any closure at all. I want to talk to him. I need answers. I say his full name to the mirror "Lorenzo Miguel Salazar". He suddenly appears in the mirror. He’s choking. I look away at the horrific sight. I look back and I see a phone cord choking his neck. I realize this mirror was no ordinary mirror but a Halloween themed mirror kinda thing. I look next to me and there’s another mirror but with a computer attached to it. Like I had to fill out my name and info and fill out the other person's info I wanted to see kinda thing. I'm too lazy so I fly up. I look at my hands to stabilize myself to make evrything clearer. I suddenly appear in this fancy restaurant. I see it getting unclear so I restabilize by touching everything near me. I'm touching the floor and the wooden staircase by me and everything is clear again. I am facing a painting on the wall then suddenly a waiter approaches me. He asks me what I want. "I want to get to Denn" I tell him. "There's a way there from here" he replies. I’m suddenly more inside the restaurant. I am talking with an old man. Everything becomes unclear again so I restabilize by touching everything. Smelling everything in. I ask the old man to give me a fruit tart. I never ate anything in the dreamworld. I look in his bag and see a red velvet cake instead inside "Even better" I thought.

I attempt to eat it. It’s good but not as good as reality’s taste of it I though lol. The part of the restaurant I was in looks like a spaceship-themed restaurant. The walls around me are white and this part of the building I was in took the shape of an alien spaceship. I suddenly realize there are a lot of people in this restaurant. Suddenly evryone including me all follow the waiter I met earlier. He was gonna lead us to Denn. We’re all walking down a ramp as we approach a big parking structure with a bunch of cars. I’m talking to one girl I know she's a DC. She appears to be nice. I randomly tell her “I’m dreaming”. She suddenly loses control for some reason and starts crying. I hug her and ask her “What’s wrong?” she says, “Well then this all isn’t real then.” I say well without you guys I wouldn’t have dreams, and without me you guys wouldn’t be in a dream” Lol. She smiles. I ask “Where’s Denn? This is just a parking structure. I thought you guys are leading me to Denn?” They say “There’s a portal in the parking lot to get directly there. We approach a portal that is by a red car. It’s low, near the ground. I suddenly hurl through the portal face-first. It’s suddenly tunnel vision. I'm in a wormhole (COOL!).

I go through. When I get out all I see is darkness. My eyes are closed. I restabilize. I feel sand by me. I open my eyes. I am in the middle of the street by my house in waking life. I fly up again in disappointment. I'm not gonna give up. I Take out my sword slash it 3 times make a portal and I go through it. I re-stabilize. I feel grass and dirt by me. I open my eyes. I’m in Denn (SUCCESS!). I restabilize but my hands look like yellow fur or feathers instead of skin. I only have two fingers, one big and one small. I wonder what do I look like? I see WakingNomad in Denn again for some reason. I don’t pay attention to him. I think I gotta get to the forest and look in the mirror to get my normal look back lol. I run into the forest. I find the mirror. I look in the mirror. I see myself having a furry chicken body with a dalmation dog head. I quickly look away. I look back and say "WITCH" and I transform back to my player’s normal appearance. A witch wearing red. This time what I was wearing became clearer. I'm wearing a skin tight dark red top. A dark red witch hat which matched the color of my mini-dress floats down from the sky and lands on my head. I look in the mirror to see that my eyes were orange for some reason. It looked cool. I had a weird pg nose so I looked away and say "Nose back to normal". I look back and it changed back to normal. I walk away in Denn's forest and see some kind of doppleganger. I see someone that looks exactly like me wearing the same outfit and hat except she has a pig nose. I think "That's weird." I don't pay attention to it. I walk back to the village and WakingNomad is still there. We suddenly are in a kitchen and he is attempting to mix drinks/bartend LOL. He attepts to do tricks with a fork and lemon for some reason and he fails horribly lol. Me and this other girl inside laugh as he tries to look cool mixing and blending but a fail lol. I try one bottle that he's mixing.

It tastes like champagne but kinda saltier and stronger. First time I drank something in a dream and it had to be that? I thought lol. There’s pain in my right leg as im sleeping in reality. It wakes me up. I DEILD. I appear with a little boy asking me where to get nothing to buy in the free market of Denn. Before I could answer WakingNomad re-appears and answers his question saying "It costs nothing." I suddenly remember the quest I have to do. I have to buy a weapon and kill something with it. I buy a long shiny sword for nothing.

Before I could go out and venture to kill something with it the pain in my leg bothered me and woke me up completely.

I managed to check off a few things in my dream goals. I ate and drank in a dream and I went through a wormhole. I didn't get to finish the warrior level of RPG yet though. I also noticed my dream control is on and off hopefully it improves. lol.
