Thread: Any Air/Water/Earth/Firebenders Out There?

Well, I never watched Avatar, but I do have a passion for the elements. Not as much actual control as I'd like, though.

The most I've done with water itself is running on top of it, but I've also used ice to freeze objects and people. I redirected a tornado while flying once though, so that was pretty cool. Not sure if I've done anything for fire or earth yet, I think I would probably remember if I did.... I think they'd all be pretty cool to be really awesome at, I really want to master them all. Ice for crafting things, water/ice, fire, and air for using cool attacks/putting on cool displays, and earth for meditation. That would be the good life.

Elemental: an animated or living elemental being

and Nomad says you create "creatures" out of your element that can fight with you :p

Ahhh no I don't think I've created water creatures that I've done battle stuff with. Though that would be pretty cool too! Definitely gonna try it out some time

Look up some pictures or videos with water elementals so you have some imagination of what it should/could look like!

I've shot lightning, I want to shoot fireballs but I'm not really sure how to visualize it. Any tips?

OHMYGEHRD I love the Avatar series. I've tried earth-bending once and failed, and I tried fire-bending twice to little success. I snapped my fingers together and made some small flames.

When I firebend sometimes, I just punch the air and imagine fire coming out of my fists. Try it out :3

Did earth, fire, and water once. Had the first element in a floating ball and it changed to the second element, then the third. Never done anything with air, and I haven't seen if a floating ball is the limit for me with the others. I have many things to try in my next Lucid, and the more I read the more I want to do...

I've manipulated elements lots. I was taught that everything in your dream can be broken down into the basic elements. And you can be creative with how they counter act one another or aid one another in relation to what you want to do. Like if you are fighting obviously if you are being attacked by anything fitting the fire category you can block with water. It goes on and on. Subconsciously we expect how elements react to one another so it's easier to control things when you use them.

I did not elementalbend before, that is a nice concept though.
I will try firebending my next LD.

Yeah most people say the series are awesome. Gave the first episode a try but it felt like it was for a younger audience, plus they were speaking English if I'm not mistaken. Might have been that. Anyways I'd like to bend Earth one day. Will give that a try in my next LD

Matte, they were speaking English because it is an american anime. It is meant for a younger audience, but so is most anime. I watched when I was 16 and thought it was the bomb, it has a very in depth story that is enjoyable for the whole family.

But. Some people struggle with watching kid's shows, so I don't blame you.

I can not think of any type I have not done. Probably one of the coolest things I have done was teleporting to the top of a pyramid, then causing the entire pyramid to burst into an inferno of flames, which I then rose out of burning like the human torch.

Oddly enough none of my dreams involve much combat.

To get better with the air stuff I would sit infront of a fan in a relaxed state and really take in how it feels.

I will try airbending next time I become lucid.

I have a lot of dreams near the Ocean (4 out of 4 last night for ocean dreams). So I will try making a tidal wave next time I am lucid. Didn't cross my mind when I was lucid last night.

Has anyone tried eating fire and spitting it back out like a flame thrower? or tried to freeze yourself in a block of ice and fall off a building to feel yourself shatter? or tried to get launched like a rocket from the inside of a volcano? i havent done any of this but they would def be pretty sweett!

I am going to eat fire soon, like Natsu. I haven't done any of those things, but I have died a lot in other ways in dreams. Kind of unpleasant since I feel pain.
