Very interesting, I shall ponder these things. I normally see a scene and try to stabilize when I first start seeing it, just sitting back and waiting before engaging sounds like a good idea (of course, so does fireballs ). When realizing I am in a dream I go with the flow of stable that the dream has set up normally, so waiting a while for a flow to be set up when entering a dream from the start makes sense. I shall give this a try tonight since it doesn't interfere with my normal lucid schedule.

Also:
You pray for dreams? That is interesting. I don't like to bother God with such trivial things, but last week I was talking to my wife about that and she told me that "All the things that we are facing must seem trivial to God, he helps us with them because he loves us and sympathizes with us." or something to that extent. I decided that I should start praying for more small things, but hadn't thought about LDing yet.

Another question:
What is a way that you have improved waking life through a dream?
