Thread: Techno-color, or Black and White? Do you notice color in your dreams?

I sometimes have such vivid colors in my LDs that I just stare at things and am in awe. However, at other times it feels like I am in an old black and white vampire movie. It is not always just B&W, sometimes it is shades of blue or other weird things. At those times I do not seem to have any sense of color really.
Tell us if you have noticed colors in your dream, and what you noticed. Also tell us if any thing really stands out in your memory. In my case, I one time had an LD where I got down close to the surface of a metal lid and there was dew all over it. As I looked closely light actually reflected through each drop, causing many rainbows inside each drop. Very cool!

This makes me want to have a B&W noir-styled lucid dream.

In my dreams i see colors. Theyre not vibrant or anything but you can I can tell the grass is green and wood looks like the color is supposed to looklike

I normally see normal colors in non lucids. If it is a 3rd person non lucid, it might have a different hue and have almost a background of colors. In kucids it is normally vibrant and crazy colors where they mostly dont belong. Then of course anime dreams and cartoon dreams are a strange color by themselves.

I have read somewhere, that in the times of b/w television - the majority of people would have dreamt in b/w for the majority of times, and that this is now reversed. I forgot the numbers, but it was pretty astonishing - something like from 70% b/w down to 25%.
I seem to always dream in colour - if I remember a dream - it's always got colour and sometimes even something very prominent - like a woman all in garish glaring pink dress.

I see colors too, quite vividly every time. Don't remember and don't think I've had a dream where I saw in black and white
