      Share Your Dream Worlds

I wasn't able to find a thread exactly like this, but please redirect me if I am wrong.

Anyways, I think one of the most amazing things about lucid dreaming is being able to create a world that we can go back to. I've created one myself and wanted to share, and I want to read about yours as well!

      About mine:

I got inspiration of a city called Bern, Switzerland:

      Beautiful, isn't it?

My world is like that city, just as colorful, but less populated. It's a tight knit town where everyone knows each other and gets along. There's a town hall (I'm not the leader, though) and a marketplace. There are a good number of houses and are reasonably spread apart. The streets are like Venice, Italy where there is water for streets, but there is also a sidewalk and bridges. There are no cars- everyone either bikes, boats, or walks.

By house is located outside of the center of the city. The house is circular and has no doors. The top floor has a bed next to a window along with some cozy nooks in case I want to have some dream-friends over. The lower floor is an open concept with a living room, kitchen etc. Outside of the house is a large garden and the backyard borders a gorgeous lake. There's a tree up against the lake that I can climb up and relax on or use as a diving board. Beyond the lake is an expansive forest and mountain that I can explore or shape-shift into an animal and go live in.

To the north of the city is a beach that the river empties out to. It's very tropical.

So... that's mine. I still have to go there (gonna try for tonight). What about you?

Oh wow that sounds amazing. Is your dream world stable? Meaning, is it the same when you go back to it? I have yet to create my own world, but I can't wait! Need more stability first though.

I've tried to create a 'dream base'. It wasn't so much for the desire to have a place that I enjoyed than it was to get lucid more often. I figured that if I could create a base, then I could send a message to my subconscious that I was anchored to the dream world and wanted to return to it more often. I tried everything. Drawing the base. Writing fake dreams involving it. Even re-creating it in Minecraft. It never really worked out and eventually I abandoned the project for other things.

Let me know if you get anywhere and how. I would happily start up my Dream Base project if I had a proven means to approach it by.

First, wow this thread had three posts within 8 hours.

I used to have this very bright island city five or so dreams have happened in, but the most recurring aspect of my dreams is a very futuristic Audi. Most of them happened in places I've "been" (things like cp_steel or my minecraft world count). I'd try to create one after I can get familiar with scene changes and teleports.

Oh, about that city I mentioned: Most parts of the city are brownish with little saturation or contrast to make everything else 'pop'. It has the golden gate bridge too. I also feel the sun is unusually bright there.

The plan is to make it stable, but I am yet to get there. Do you know what you want yours to be like?

JadeGreen, I will definitely update you if I have positive results! Shame it didn't work for you, I hope I can prove this is possible and help you start it again. What was your world going to be?

Smashem, were other parts other than the Audi stable?
And wow, golden gate and the sun. Must've been a pretty sight.

      Zödra
My current Dream world is called Zödra. Technically it isn't mine. One of my DCs, that looks and acts like my dad, claims to have created it, and that he is actually my dad when awake as world.

It is an interesting place. My dad is basically the hero of it. I read about a thousand newspapers and a bunch of the history of it one night (it all kinda flashed into my head in one second). I don't think he is the ruler, but more of a protector. It is quite a hostile place, so the people need protected quite a bit. There are witches everywhere, they love watching you struggle and pretending to not notice you if your attacks aren't strong enough to hit them. I found out a while ago that if I move fast enough or use a sword it will get through their barriers, any kamehameha or kunai will disappear. I did manage to create a barrier on the end of an arrow that pierced through a witches shield and sent her into another dimension. It was supposed to send all the witches away, but it only worked on one.

      Mall
I also have a mall... I have been there on and off my entire life. Any mall I have been to in waking life or in a non lucid seems to add itself on as an extension. It has places that only make sense for LDers and there are DCs that "LDers" created to run. You can buy any item you wish at the shops, or almost any experience you wish as well. You need dream money, which the DCs seem to be able to tell if you made it instead of earned it. There are trampoline rooms, sex rooms, shooting rooms, food... everywhere, and all sorts of training for everything imaginable.

I am hoping to have one main place and to move the mall over and leave Zödra forever.
