It seems like you're on the border between being happy and surprised. Being more surprised probably won't do any good, so being less surprised while remaining happy is the way to go.

I have been in this position before, and what has worked for me in the past was just to focus on my breath. This makes me feel more peaceful.

Feeling any emotion between interested and optimistic would probably work just as well.
