Thread: Intro Class Daily Dream Snippets

In one dream I was shooting my high school friends with some sort of BB gun, and they were shooting me back, I guess it was a game. They hurt like hell though, then this one dude shot me in the forehead and that was especially painful and left a mark.

In another dream I fought this dude with longish hair who looked kind of like Thor, we kept punching each other and he kept slamming me into the wall. I was kinda losing (but not as fast as I would have in real life), so I called a truce. No idea what we were fighting over.

I had a DEILD but all I did was face plant into the carpet and roll around.

In the final dream, This middle aged Asian dude and I were best buddies for some reason, and we worked together. I'm not sure what we did, but we had the same boss.

I'm Robert Deniro, at war with the mob and on the run from the law in a Grand Theft Auto-style game. After what feels like hours of brawling, shooting, and driving my way through the city, the police corner me at sunset by a deserted beach. I distract them by jamming a brick onto the accelerator of my yellow Lamborghini so that it speeds toward the police barricade. In the confusion, I swim across the bay in the opposite direction. As I swim toward the setting sun, I think that this is the greatest video game I've ever played. I can't remember who wrote this game but earnestly hope that it was me.

This dream was so uneventful, yet I enjoyed it so very much.

There was a field. It wasn't anything special, just some short grass with small buildings and trees in the distance. What really stole the show was the sky; it looked patched together, like many skies laid over onto each other.

The first section was a normal sky. Thin wispy clouds and a purple backdrop, with just a hint of light pollution. It was nice but it wasn't anything special, either. The second was illuminated sky. This section looked like falsely colored images of space. Rather than seeing individual stars, I saw entire galaxies shining in various colors. This piece was quite beautiful.

The final piece was a symbolic sky, in a literal sense. Massive letters and symbols made of light dominated this area, flying about. The only symbol that I can clearly recall was a Greek letter Ψ. Replacing the moon was what I can only describe as a large stone skull. Thick smoke hung around it, obscuring the majority of it's details but I could clearly make out the mouth and eyes. For whatever reason, I immediately assumed that this skull was the oldest object in the universe.

For the entire dream, I sat and stared at the sections of sky.

Larry the Cable guy and my brother decide to prank me. Larry hooks up my storage shed to a truck and steals it. My wife decides to call a "Clairvoyant" to find our shed and spends $600 doing it. Of course, I go berserk. There's that high emotion dream sign again.

Lucid fragment: I'm in the passenger seat of our old Camry and Wife's behind the wheel. We're driving down a familiar road but it's filled with abandoned cars that were left pointing in the wrong direction. Wife slaloms through them flawlessly, not slowing down or using the brakes. It scares the hell out of me and I become lucid. "I'm dreaming!" I exclaim. "Yep," she says tersely, and swerves around a mini-van. I grip the doorhandle in terror and almost immediately wake up.

Lol at y'all and y'all's wives

This morning I had an odd sort of rendevous with a customer from work. It wasn't particularly eventful, but I was left with an emotional hangover all day. It's gonna be awkward at work next time I see him irl. I'll probably just put a booger in his cannoli and avoid eye-contact.

I had a DEILD where I got to make a DC laugh by telling her a joke:

Me: "Knock knock."
DC: "Who's there?"
Me: "Smell mop."
DC: "Smell mop who?"
Me: "Eww I'm not gonna smell your poo!"

She laughed so hard. Haha.

Had my first sustained lucid dream last night. I was in what appeared to be a large shopping warehouse such as Sams Club and when I got there I heard a message that this was a special place that people go to attain lucid dreams. There are other various people around me. I decide to look at items on the shelf with the realization that they are created by my dreaming mind and walk over to another part of the store. I then think since I'm lucid that I should try flying. I lean forward 70degrees and my legs lift off the ground and I start floating down the aisle. One of the attendants tell me not to float too high for a safety reason (she doesn't go into details). I stop by a frozen bratwurst and shrimp freezer and evaluate which bratworsts to purchase. There are also packs of frozen noodles. I didn't wake up directly from the dream, so I don't remember what happened after that.

The Joplin tornado leaves the town in anarchy causing Missouri to succeed from the union. Unfortunately, and evil dictator takes over. The first part is vague but I remember stalking him from behind. I casually walk up behind him and put a hand over his mouth and quickly thrust a blade into his rib cage and back. I climb to the top of a tall building and reminisce.

I ate the darkness and everything became monochrome negative. Then regular negative. If I recall correctly, I was on a train in a subway and the darkness had the consistency of cotton candy. I quite enjoyed this dream.

I had a dream it was raining and my puppy was so small she could fit on my palm. She was curled up and dead. :'(

I was experiencing a car crash from two perspectives, one as somebody in the car and another as somebody witnessing the car crash and calling for an ambulance. The perspective from within the car crash ended up being paralysed and it was extremely weird to feel my limbs constantly numb.

I was doing some sort of mission and I had guys in suits appearing constantly and trying to kill me. I ran into this big WalMart and I shot down at least 4 or 5 guys who where shooting at me. But then things got bad. I kinda got cornered and there were a couple guys on either side of me. I shot them all with my handgun, but not before I got shot a couple times in the gut. As I sat, bleeding to death with my back on one isle and dead men in suits around, a fat black lady in a WalMart uniform looked at me. I had a strong feeling that she was going to kill me, so I reached for my gun and tried to shoot her but I missed. I heard a gun go off and the dream ended. She must have put a bullet in my head.

I'm riding on a school bus when a pair of gurkhas rob me at gunpoint for the computer equipment that I'm carrying, throwing it into the bed of a passing pick-up truck before leaping off the back of the bus. The theft is a matter of urgent national security, and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie personally orders me to get it back. My search across the city ultimately leads me to the ruthless crime lord who controls the city's underworld -- Elton John, clad in gigantic pink sunglasses. He loans me an army of hundreds of zombified mobster hitmen. My undead wiseguy minions shamble with me toward a dark fortress in the middle of the city, prepared to attack. Sadly, I wake up before the assault begins.

I shook hands with the child version of myself. For some reason, in this reality the childhood-me was a singer in a Barney type TV show. When we made contact I braced myself because I fully expected a paradox in the space time continuum thus causing the universe to collapse on itself. Sadly, the only thing that happened was a mild sensation of energy passing between us and then the boy no longer looked like me.

I had a FA from a lucid. The scene looked exactly like it should. The bed, furniture, even the lighting was dead on. Except the bathroom door was on the wrong side. I said, "wait a minute... this isn't right. I'm still dreaming." As soon as I said that my wife turns into a screaming banshee and grows rainbow colored crystalline spikes from all over her body. She put her hand up in attack mode. It's kind of funny now but I was so scared that I passed out in the dream and fell on top of her. Then I was falling in a dark abyss only to find myself in the same FA again. I said, "Oh HELL no. I can't do this again and I just skipped to the passing out falling part and avoided the whole screaming banshee thing.

I am in a hotel room and using my computer, I think I was on IRC, when a sheet of paper came out of the printer with the text "SEROQUEL" and some strange drawings on it. What gives, subconscious? Is this seriously the best thing you could be doing with yourself?

I attempted a DEILD and was greeted with flickering black and white images of my own face. Soon enough these images stabilised and became full colour and I was observing myself as I climbed out of bed and performed my usual routine. This was intertwined with phases where I "opened my eyes" and I was back laying in bed, staring at a wall and each time I closed my eyes I went back into observing myself. Lots of mini false awakenings, basically. After some time I closed my eyes yet again and my cloned self that I was observing was now right in my face and said "What are you doing here?", causing me to wake up instantly.

I was apparently going to this class, and the subject was "WIKIASHON" but I somehow read it as WEAKFASHION. Only when i woke up did I realize how different it was.

There is a horde of old people from the nursing home coming over a grassy hilltop. I notice they are all zombies. They begin to shoot rockets out of their eyes at me.

I had a zombie dream also, ridiculously long, about 4 days worth of events. Sorry in advance for the partial wall of text, I realise it's supposed to be snippets but it was pretty epic

The dream started at the outbreak of a zombie infection. People slowly began turning into zombies and everybody was frantic, including myself, looking for some place to hide. At one point I just passed out and my consciousness faded into a vision of the future after a cure for the infection had been discovered. I saw zombies being converted back into human, and at this point some zombies had evolved and grown giant tentacles lashing out from their body which were being cut off before they could be cured. I faded back into the present (well, a few days ahead of where I initially passed out) and this gave me hope to survive until the cure was found. The military had set up these "defence rings" which you could sit in and they were designed to ward zombies away, and if they did get too close you could activate spikes or burning light to destroy them. I eventually set up camp in a room suspended from a cliff with a few other survivors and we gathered food, stole one of the defence rings and installed it into our floor and witnessed the zombies evolving into creatures with wings, and even with the ability to talk to try and fool humans into thinking they weren't zombies. The dream abruptly ended when one of our friends got bitten and started turning into a zombie.

I had a lucid this morning where I asked my dream which elements I had the ability to manipulate. I closed my hands together, and told my dream that if I could bend water, my hands should light up when I open them. And they did. Same goes for fire, and slightly with earth. But no matter how much I tried to convince the dream I could manipulate air, my hands just wouldn't light up. No matter how much I tried to airbend, I just couldn't.

P.S. I pushed my arm forward with my hands closed into fists, and I firebent! It was the most awesome feeling ever, it was vivid and I could feel the force coming out of my arm into my hand and finally turning into fire.

So, I finally got to sleep, and woke up, rolled over on my back with the pillow on my head. Instead of the vibrations, I got another one of those growly demon lie on top of me. The weight felt really heavy, more than usual. I couldn't see him, just the pillow. But I could feel that he was holding my hands down. Again, as I tried to move my hands or get free, he growled even louder. So I tried 2 bits of advice from 2 different members: I tried talking and reasoning with him, while imagining him growing weaker and weaker. I asked him "Why are you doing this?" and "What's your name?" His growling got softer and began to sound farther away, and the weight grew less and less heavy. Then there was nothing. I whipped the pillow off me, but he was gone. Feeling triumphant, I got up out of bed, ready to have an adventure. As I was standing in my room, trying to think of something, I woke up.

I appear in a space station. This old man is here telling me about all the constellations. I look out the window and the constellations were mostly from skyrim. Then these kids appear and they run around the place. In the middle of the room is a pillar and there is a blue substance floating around it. I accidently rip the substance a part while chasing the kids around. Then there mother comes and she is pretty mad. The kids vanish and she says "There's just so much pressure.." I angrily say "What pressure!?" She says "I've been up here for many years and nobody even cares!" I reply "Let me guess..your up here because you are afraid of the apocalypse, listen, theres no logical reason why you should be afraid, do you know why?" she just stares at me. I say "We are all destined to die one day, there is no point in being afraid of something that is inevitable" I then prepare to leave but before I do I say "I hope you considered what I've said" I am transported back to a parking lot. It is midday. I see my mothers car. I walk up to it and the dream ends...
