Haha, well when the movie came out, there was an obvious increase in new members joining DV. Even the members noticed it, but the stats showed it too. |
I'm curious as to how many users on DV are interested in the topic of dreaming due to only having seen the recent movie; Inception. |

I'm actually quite interested to see how many people say yes here. |

I'm not guilty xP As for finding someone to match your views, I believe myself to be a cynic. haha |
Confess I have not seen it, but I need to check it out! |
Haven't seen it, joined because I found a link to it with a google search of "Lucid dream inductions" |
Inception didn't really get me into it, I never even related it to Lucid Dreaming. Feels kinda obvious now, though. |
Around the release of Inception, I must have spoken to at least 25 new members. I'm certain there were more than that, but some of them probably left soon afterwards. I'm curious to see who stuck around. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I joined DV as inception came out, but I didn't know what it was until after I joined DV. But I remember there were lots of other new people who said they came because of it, but they seemed to mostly have dissapeared. |
not guilty, I already was a natural lucid dreamer when I was younger |

Nope. Not guilty! |

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
I would think a lot of people who watched Inception thought it would be as easy as plugging yourself into a machine and getting lucid. I may be wrong, but just my two cents lol. |
Nah. I've never seen inception. I don't even remember how I found DV. I think it was a really hot night and i couldn't fall asleep. A random thought just came to me: "hey, how cool would it be to control your dreams?" |
I started before Inception. Though, I'm sure attaching the word "guilt" to a new lucid dreamer based on how they were introduced to the idea is not a positive way to encourage them. |

Not guilty, I saw it about a month after I found out about lucid dreaming. |
We need more movies about dreams! They always seem to bring a lot of attention to lucid dreaming. Free publicity for lucidity |
