Nope, work boots are free. The acid ones, anyway. They reimburse you for regular steel tips as well. They have covers that you can put over boots, but they're awkward and annoying to walk in. Plus, if they get a whole, the acid gets in and slowly eats away your boot without you knowing (which is what happened to me before).

Really, it's somewhat of a personal problem. Shoes marked wide are still often times still too tight for me.

Ahh, Sefalik. That's very cool that they're free! Where my daughter last worked, they had to have special shoes but the company orders them and takes it out of their paycheck.

My rant is that last night I had something that felt like a gallbladder attack. It was excruciating but only lasted about 5 minutes thankfully!! It couldn't have been a gallbladder attack, seeing as I had mine removed, but I read you can still form stones without one. I REALLY hope that's not what it was!!

Other than that, today's been decent. I ran my family around all morning, but it's over and done with and hopefully hubby doesn't make any plans for this evening.
Our pipes have been frozen for a couple days again, but that shouldn't last much longer.

I might take a nap....

More. MORE. I need more overtime so that I can buy more albums. Yob, Flaming Lips, Nadja, Pallbearer, My Bloody Valentine, Blood Ceremony, The Sword, Pixies, Causa Sui, Burial... I NEED albums from all those bands. NEED, as in my survival depends on getting them. I'll probably die otherwise.

Really, what I need to do is buy a house. Because my current monthly rent payment is more than what a fucking monthly morgage payment would be... it's ridiculous. So really, I shouldn't be buying any albums; I need to save up for a down payment. But, but, but... I like music. I think my monthly bills would actually be lower if I was paying for my own house. I don't agree with the "buy as much house as you can" statement I've seen tossed around on the internet. Fuck that, I'll buy something I can easily afford. Because comfortably maintaining a fridge full of beer is more important than an extra bedroom.

I am officially out of my dry spell, cuz I just had da best Lucid.

Got a 96% on my second mid-term, finished the two extra points that brings my first up to a 90%, and sorta, starting work on my first research paper. My first week of work was slow, but everyone was awesome.

Relationship stuff is going amazingly too. This would what I believe is known as a good week. I've only heard about it though.

My rant is that I have a very full and happy tummy. That's a rant because in around 3 hours I'm going to be eating Indian food (most likely). Hubby and I are going to go visit his daughter for a while.
I can't skip food at all. If I don't eat enough I feel punched in the gut and/or severely nauseous. I've been on a big oatmeal kick lately, so at least it's healthy food for a change (and PLEASE, no one tell me otherwise )

A rave is that our cat Tiny finally had her babies. Her cries of pain actually woke me up. She was in labor for a few hours. I checked on her a couple of times because I don't remember her crying like that in the past. But all is well. She has 4 little ones when last I checked. Now I just need to get her spayed before she goes in heat again!!!

All I ever do in winter is eat

Ahhh... a very good trip with extremely great food. I even managed to eat some more plus I had some to take home. I tried something different at the Indian restaurant. It was a curried half chicken (cut in sections) that was prepared in a clay oven I believe. It was very tender and I only got a spice of 4 (0-10) so it didn't even make my nose water lol.
Hubby got his usually chicken tiki masala (or some such) and Diana order a curried lamb with rice dish which I took a few bites of. Yummy.

When we got back to her apartment, hubby disappeared into the restroom for a long time lol, so I chatted with his daughter and I said one thing that was stupid. She was talking about under graduate and graduate degrees and said she didn't know if she could go for a second under graduate and in the course of the conversation I was confused about why not, so I asked: 'Do you have to make up your mind and choose one thing?' She seemed REALLY taken aback and was at a lose for words and what I said slapped me in the face so I quickly recovered with 'I just don't understand the difference between graduate and under graduate and what's required for what.' She seemed to likewise recover and went on to explain.

But I felt like a pile of crap. She struggling with deciding what she wants to do with her life and education. Her fiancee broke up with her because he was crushing on one of her friends and he said he never wanted to see Diana again and just left. She was talking about starting a family with him before he pulled his crap. She had previous finished her medical degree and was in the residency part of her education when she decided Medicine wasn't for her. Then she got into computers but she doesn't care for that either. That's when her fiancee broke things off and she has since left college again. She feels like a huge failure even though she's one of the brightest and sweetest and most creative people I've ever known.

Before we left she told us to send her an email to let her know we made it back home safely. I asked hubby if he was going to and he hadn't even heard her ask that So I did. And I apologized for my poor choice of words, told her how amazing she is and that I'm proud to be a part of her family. I signed goodnight and with love.

And now I worry I was too personal lol. We've never been a lovey-dovey family. I can't remember when I last told her I love her so I fear I came on too strong.
But she's in a very emotional place right now so perhaps it's something she needs to hear?

Another rave is that she gave me a whole BUNCH of plastic bags I could crochet a workout mat out of them!

Another rant is that, in anticipation of the pizza I ate earlier and the Indian I had yet to eat, I took an anti-diarrhea pill. I'll likely be suffering for it for the next couple of days

Various shipping services, oh why must you fail me so frequently?! Two LPs (different orders) were to be delivered today. They were sorted and loaded on to the same truck. Both were "delivered" at the same time according to the online tracking. Only one was in my mailbox...

Well Friday was so embarrassing. When I was at school, I said something funny during class. And everyone laughed, which is good.
But then I noticed that everyone was looking at me so I felt quite uncomfortable. And my face turned bright red and everyone noticed omg.
How can I prevent this from happening?

I also went to a party on Friday night. I felt so uncomfortable and awkward when I first arrived.
So I thought it was a good idea to get drunk straight away. Everything was going great and I had a lot of fun.
I didn't drink more than usual, I had about 16 pints of beer and about 4 pints vodka mixed with coke.
My dad came to pick us up at 6am and when I stepped in the car, I felt so freaking nauseous and so drunk. It was horrible.
And before I even knew it, I've gotten sick in the car and it was so embarrassing. I just threw up in my dad's car while three of my friends were sitting right next to me.
There are even some parts I don't remember, I honestly can't recall what happened in the car apart from me getting sick.
The next morning I had to clean it all up. I still don't know why I've gotten sick? Maybe because mixing vodka with beer isn't such a good idea?
Or maybe because I've been taking meds for my cold all week including that Friday? The next party is on Wednesday and I told my friend I'll be staying at his house.
And I'm not going to drink too much. So all of this won't happen again.

I've been ill a few weeks ago so I didn't go to work experience. I currently have half term right now but because I didn't go,
I have to catch up on Wednesday morning. And I really don't want to go just knowing that all of my friends are at home
makes me so jealous of them. Two other students work there aswell but they don't have to go because it's half term.
I'm so stressed out and so anxious, I'm afraid of messings things up even though the tasks I get aren't really that hard.
I really don't want to go.

Crashy. That is why I don't drink lol. I cannot stand vomiting (more so than most, though I'm sure no one "enjoys" it )

My rave is that I had a couple of very awesome dreams. They were about war. In the first one, I followed a man. A soldier. He raiding an Orc stronghold and was killing the adults. When it got to the kids, the dream showed him with a weapon, but then the dream flashed to villagers. They were terrified and hated the war. Some even hesitated, but each of them still killed the children. Then the dream flashed to the man again. He was in a hospital room and there were a bunch of Orc children on a bed. He caressed one of their faces and I realized those were the children I thought he had killed. Then the kids all chimed in a sing songy voice: "We won't amass an army against you, Uncle." lol Yeah, brain, as if kids would be so forgiving of a man who massacred their parents and elders

In another dream, I was some woman fleeing with sensitive war time documents. I had evidence of treason. One man cornered me and I stuck a business card type thing in my underwear (as if that would stop anyone ). I told a soldier that I would not betray my country. I ran off. Next thing I know, I'm on a boat with another woman. A man is on the shoreline shooting at us. I'm hit and killed. The dream rewinds, lol, and I slink off the edge of the boat and into the water but the current's too strong and I'm pushed ashore. I take off running, I'm shot and killed. The dream rewinds again and this time when I start running, I dodge and weave and make it to allied forces before waking up.

I blame those dreams on having watched Grimm and reading about Russia/Ukrain before bed.

A rant is very minor and silly but it drives me bonkers. I'm very picky about my volume. When I'm watching Hulu, it has to be at 75% sound. When I'm playing Minecraft, I turn it down to 55%. The volume slider HATES going where I want it to and I'll obsessively fiddle with it for several minutes until it goes where I want

Another rant is that I'm really disliking my clearomizers. I have a couple of new ones, and several old ones. The taste like I'm vaping plastic. Only one works decently and I treat them all the same so I don't understand why the others heat too hot or something.

Other than that, it's a very good day.

After reading your teeth problems I had weird dreams about cavities and going to the dentist. Such relief to wake up and know that I don't need to go after all.

The weather is awful and I'm damn sick. :'( Throat was so sore on saturday that it was painful to swallow. Now my throat's better but i still have fever. Not sure why I came to work today. For some reason I thought I'll feel better if I get out of bed and go to work. But now the ac is making it worse. Moreover I got my periods too. :/ I just want this week to get over asap.

Ahhh i am so pissed. I have a recently new youtube account. I have 10 videos and close to 1000 views. My videos consist of xbox gameplay clips. Well i deleted someone from my friends list on xbox and now he is stalking my youtube videos disliking them. I know he can only dislike one time per video but damn it is annoying as hell. Before him i had 5 or so dislikes and now im up to 15 or so. I know my videos will get dislikes, its just the matter of fact he is doing it to piss me off and get a reaction out of me, and well he is doing a good job. I sent him a message telling him to leave me the f alone and stay away from my youtube and his reply was "i didnt do anything wrong, i dont like what you post" Yes i know it shouldnt let it bug me and i plan on not replying to him ever again but i know he will not stop haha.

I almost always sit with my knees pulled up. When I make plarn it comes in handy because I'll lean one of them into the edge of my desk and that helps me stabilize the loops when putting them together.
After I loop together enough bags that it piles up at my feet, lol, I make a ball out of the plarn then just add to the ball as I continue.

I just did find this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQtcpPBJc70 video. She does it differently so I guess there's no hard rule to making plarn. My loops tend to be slightly thinner than an inch.
It is VERY time consuming but something a little different to play around with when I get tired of regular crocheting.

^^^ This is a big issues within my life. I mean, FROZEN won two oscars. Yeah it was a great film but a film for kids wins two oscars and a guy who played his first role as a kid with special needs, so convincingly that the cast were actually shocked when he turned up at the red carpet perfectly ordinary to society because they thought he legitimately had special needs, doesn't get one?
