      I grabbed a Nook HD+ tablet a couple weeks ago and got a cover with an any-orientation stand built in, but I was never thrilled with the looks of the cover. It had crossed my mind that they were going for the look of a naked hardcover book, but today was the first time it clicked that there's an easy way to dress up a naked hardcover:



      As it turned out, I had a book sitting right next to my desk that was a perfect fit in more ways than one

      I got a new camera a few weeks ago after my last camera bit the dust. And check it out...I will never have to worry again when I take pictures while kayaking, paddleboarding or hiking through waist deep water...it's waterproof! And most importantly...sandproof. Sand has been the death of all my previous cameras.

      And I also felt it was time to update my avatar since I have been using that one since about 2006. Haha. So that meant taking cheesy pictures in front of mirrors...and my favorite--talking pictures of my reflection in CDs (it's actually more challenging than you might think).
