Question What technique do you use mostly to get a LD?

I just want to see if the results from the poll above are a landslide of one technique.

      Please participate .

      CDFILD counts under DILD, right?

I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.

      DILD, all the way.

I don't have to do ANYTHING to get DILDs- besides visiting DV and writing in my DJ.
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

That seems to be the case with most LDers... If I can't master DEILD or FILD... then I am probably just going to try DILDing 8/.

Personally, I think that beginning LDers should try mulitple techniques, but then when they get some DILDs, they can chill on those other techniques, and DILDs could become naturally-or at least more easily.

It makes up for unreliability in simplicity and easiness.

I selected DILD....I normally have about a 50/50 with DILDs and WILDs, but since I've been going through a drought, the only thing I've managed to get were a couple of DILDs.

I'd say 80% come from DILD, the other 20% from WILD.

Well I guess that's one good thing about being a newbie to LDing... I never have droughts .

I debated it... but I think that it is too much like a DEILD to have its own category 8/. So just click DEILD.

I've tried a few WILDs but only been successful once, but I'm gonna try more. It's just not enough yet to classify it as my main method.

I use none of these, they occur naturally once in a while.

I had to say DILD only because it is my most common way to become lucid, but I am a natural at WILD, but can not induce WILDs at will; where as I am getting good and inducing DILDs at will.

      Take Care,
      DG

I mostly only seem to LD when I attempt to WILD. The thing is, isn't it possible to WILD, DILD, AND DEILD in the same sleep session? Sometimes I'll WILD, lose my focus and end up losing lucidity for a while, then DILD'ing when I 'remember I was WILDing' within the dream, wake up, DEILD back to sleep, et cetera... I can WILD, but as soon as I lose concentration or get too distracted I go into 'regular non lucid dreamstate', and push/pull more or less lucidity throughout the dream, or lose it all together and only get it back for fragments of it.

If you lose concentration after initiating a WILD, then regain lucidity again later from within the dream, isn't it also a DILD?
Tell me what'cha know about dreamin', dreamin'...

I MILD at bedtime, than attempt a WILD or DEILD when i wake up (DEILD if I don't set an alarm, WILD otherwise). Then again I've never successfully DEILDed, and I've only recently gotten into WILDing, so MILD for me I guess, but as soon as I get the hang of WILDing that'll prolly be my go to technique.

DILD happens to me randomly. But it's the technique I got the most Lucid Dream with.
I practice the Reflection Intention technique during the day doing my Reality check when a dreamsign occurs...Helps alot for DILD
And I am perfectioning my DEILD, I got 6 in the last three days. My favorite technique is FILD (Finger Induced Lucid Dream) which is a DEILD.
I have tried alot of times to MILD, but it is keeping me awake.

“Don't believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is limitation. Look with your understanding, find out what you already know, and you'll see the way to fly.”
