Has anyone of you managed to talk to your subconscious in a LD?

I had the most interesting LD experience after a while, and the best one yet. While it wasn't perfect, I've managed to verbally connect to my subconscious by asking some questions, and which responses had been projected on several TV screens. It was my first time to do so, successfully getting myself aware to the point of remembering most of the things I've been planning to do in a lucid dream, most importantly this one. The answers were pretty subtle and just weird, and then succeeded with a cliffhanger as I miserably got jarred back to reality when I was in the middle of deciphering it.

Haven't yet, but its something I would like to do in the future. Can you explain exactly how you got to the point of asking your subconscious and also what you asked it, as well as any tips?

It's hard to say...does talking to it through DCs count? Because I've had some times where I felt that I was talking to it directly through a DC in the past. But most of the time my DCs are either clueless and speak gibberish, or insist that they are not DCs at all but independent entities. :S

I got myself to be aware of the potentials of a lucid dream. I think it's just pure luck that I got to do so. Prior to this I got to do most of the things that I was planning to do in a LD, and some which are slightly... invasive. Lol. Others quite failed sadly, like teleporting. Lol

Well I can't tell you what I asked , but the answers were certainly shrewd and just plain weird. At that point I was like "Wait a minute, of course! I'm in a LD! " and excitedly shouted out, "Hey subconscious, respond?" The room acted pretty weird, and pulled out some TV screens. I stared at it in a little while, and I thought, "Is this it?" So I began asking some questions and the answers popped out there. It was just weird. But I think I got the answer. Well almost. But the second answer was sort of a word play. And yes, it's still projected on the TV. When I was carrying on I woke up, sadly.

And tips. Honestly, it was my first time to be able to do so. I think. Often times I think I wasn't aware that I am speaking with my subconscious. It's just being projected on a different medium. There was this one time, and it was a book. There were several bible verses. And quotes as far as I could recall. I think if you get yourself fully aware in a LD, or at least to the point that you remember most of your dream goals, you'll get there. While In my case I wasn't anticipating I'd get there soon, oh such luck.

Though I remember how I'm constantly inclined with the thought of it before going to sleep, and it reflected in my dream state. That's probably why I got to be aware that I'm in a dream easily and turned it to an LD. I trained myself a bit. Sometimes I plan out what I wanted to do before I go to sleep, and I'd be like, "Be lucid, be lucid!" Lol

I think DCs count. After all it's a manifestation of our subconscious. And lol yes, they're not making much of a sense sometimes.

While I can't tell you what we talked about, I can tell you how it responded. I think it was sort of a troll because there were figures that you have to guess. With my first question it was a panorama of different interviews with people that I've never seen before, but they were answering the question. It kind of made sense, but I don't like the answers. Lol. The second one was a word play. But it was a bit tough, and sort of a cliffhanger 'cause I gained consciousness :<

Why can't it just answer me directly! Lol

I believe I talked to my subconscious in a LD because I had a mindset that if I see a blonde that makes herself stand out compared to the rest of the DC, then she is most likely my DG.

If you want to know why it doesn't answer to you directly, you can check my post here --->Dream Guide? My experience - What are they anyway?

It's pretty long, but I think I made several perspectives to consider. They may not be right, but if you're really interested, you might stumble on a similar mindset and find an answer to test.

I don't know if you're interested, but a fairly long and perhaps informative conversation about just this subject recently happened on a thread named Subconscious Talking To You. You might want to check it out.

That's a pretty cool method of conversation. I tried to verbally speak with my subconscious once, but just got an omnipresent voice echoing whatever I said.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I have never thought about doing this, but I will definitely give it a try sometime.
It will be interesting to see what kind of responses I get (if I get any).

I have been trying, endlessly! I understand it's not entirely, but I read the power of the subconscious mind by Joseph murphy, and I think of the subconscious as this super-super genius that if you ask a question, you'll get a good answer, even if it sounds like gibberish. But I tried this 4 times now?,
And I just woke up, like software, or a huge iPad app or something it JUST CRASHED!!!!!
I just awoke, I have a lot of questions, like problems to solve, or just philosophical questions or loads,
But last night, I didn't want to risk it and just went flying.
It could be like my subconscious feels threatened like I'm gonna interfere I something.
Maybe next time I'll just talk to a DC? Any tips? Pweez?

It's funny, 'cause last night I attempted to speak with the Holy Subconscious again. Before engaging myself with it I was trying to remember all the guides that I read here so I merely stared at the sky. Then my attention shifted to a DC standing beside me, and spoke with it.

      Me: Hey you.
      A DC: Yeah?
Me: D'you know you're just a fragment of my mind?
      A DC: (Chuckles) You're funny.
Me: You're in a dream. And I'm dreaming.
A DC: You're delusional. And I'm late for class.
      The DC left.
(It seemed like my dream scene was in a school)
I followed it like a psycho. Lol
Me: Come on, help me out here? You'll believe me.
      It ran down the stairs

      I gave up.

Now there was this one guy, Never seen him before and I was thinking maybe he's my DG or something. It felt like it. So I followed it.

      Me: Hey.
      The guy: (Ignores)
      Me: Hey! D:
The guy: (Continued walking. Everyone seems to be in a hurry back then)
Me: If you're not my DG at least talk to me?
He was on his way down the stairs and it halted. It stared back at me.
Me: Look, we're dreaming. Well, I'm dreaming. I'll prove it. Hey, subconscious!

Now all of a sudden my tongue got twisted. I can't speak!

      Me: Oh, you, you.

I tried to stabilize but I couldn't fix it. I left it alone instead and moved on with another dream goal.

Now what's strange, is that it seemed like it doesn't want me to communicate with it, and twisted my tongue instead.

Ahh yes, it's a must. The subconscious is collaborated with infinite knowledge that can work out a solution, an answer, depending on the information that we supply. It's methodology may be a simple verbal response from a dream figure, to means beyond peculiarity, yet with profound significance. It's response can be projected with pretty much, anything, I believe. Visually, auditory, etc.

I think the response varies with how you approach it.

In that case, yeah I've talked to it many times by talking to DCs. They often give me useful insights and advice about my RL problems and about myself.

Well technically we are connecting with our subconscious with our dreams . Just a direct confrontation in a LD has a more profound significance as you can get to ask it directly . Though it doesn't really seem to answer directly sometimes.

I FINALLY DID IT!! I realised I was dreaming! I went up to a DC and I don't know if I'm happy with this answer, but it's alright. My first thought was to ask for a money making idea, they told me to write a novel!! Not the most profound genius thing I was expecting, but it's still a very good idea! Then they all just surrounded me, talking about ideas, now they were genius ideas! I'm still thinking about if I should do it or not, Im just really I managed to speak to a dream character! If you want to speak to your subconscious, you don't have to go directly, then it will be threatened and push you back, just go up to a DC and be all like "Yo baby, wassup?"

Congratulations . I'm curious as to how you got to the point of speaking with the DC. Oh do share more, please! And wow, I'm jealous. Lol. My subconscious seems to like to twist me in a labyrinth. Or literally twist me Dx. Maybe you can get to meet your DG if you try to dig more. Good luck!

And thanks for the insight, I'll really note that

I had a dream wich is directly topic related. I was near my school and realized that i was in state of dreaming. I asked my subconscious to manifest itself and a moment later there was very big tree ahead of me.

Yeah, In my first lucid dream, I shouted "Dream, show me something amazing!" I kinda felt a presence behind me, so I looked back, and saw glowing blue text written on my front door. It read, "Look up, at the sky." So I looked up, and the sky filled with galaxies and stars (it really was the most amazing thing I've ever seen). Ever since then, when I want to communicate with my subconscious, I just look at my front door..I want to learn how to get a verbal response from my subconscious so I can communicate with it wherever I may be in the dream

errr I kinda do this while awake.. I'll start writing a question and an answer just follows as if I'm having a conversation with myself. Never tried it in a dream, though!

I talk with DCs all the time. But on a more direct approach, once a kid-version of myself came and said he was my unconcious mind, then he said I could ask anything, I was woken up before getting even the first answer though -.-

I have summoned my sub conscious I think. I used the door technique where I imagined that the person I'm imagining would end up n the other side of the door. It worked and someone was at the door. Though I said can you help me? He said Im sorry but I can't. I don't think I was very specific but I was losing stability and forgot to spin

It's hard to say...does talking to it through DCs count? Because I've had some times where I felt that I was talking to it directly through a DC in the past.
Yeah, I've generally done it through dream characters. Sometimes I'll just amble up to any random one and start explaining to them their role as a 'face/voice' for my subconscious, other times a particular dream denizen will stand out to me, etc.
