    Biography:
Born in Punta Gorda, Florida; married (and moved to Australia) in 1994. We have five children. Really enjoy (old style) dub reggae. I am of a mixed racial background including Native American (although people thought I was Asian during my school years - that's the South for you) and wife is Roma/Romani authentic older gypsy clan from Hungary. The world is strange and contrary and I do not "get" it at all. Ha. I don't believe in anything occult or New Age (or even psychological for that matter); in fact, rarely believe anything I read, yet we enjoy life on this crazy backwards planet. I've followed my path and learned a lot of how dreams are far beyond what most people think they are and wouldn't have done it differently for anything. I mostly do legitimate work in education as well as my own music.

"The Drop," and its Processing Factors, 1

by Blue_Opossum on Yesterday at 01:31 PM
    Sunday, 22 September 2019.

Reading time: 4 min 24 sec.

“Something coming down,” when witnessed by my dream self, is the passive form of “the drop” (unless I simultaneously experience vestibular modulation to a discernible degree) when the subliminal, liminal, or supraliminal anticipation is projected instead of inherited. The causal factors and its potential for control revolve around several dynamics that include the level of melatonin, ultradian rhythm (and time spent sleeping up to that point), vestibular system activity, muscle tension, heart rate, reticular activating system nuances, cortical arousal, and sleeping position. I have studied the process extensively since I was six years of age.

I will go into specific details about dream events of this type already posted, for comparison purposes. I may include details here that will not be present in the original entries. For this series only, I will look at induction factors for some experiences to check for correlation of the cycle as complete or not. (I rarely include this as it is often too similar from dream to dream even over 50 years.)

February 4, 1972. The moon (subliminal association with awareness in dreams) becomes a giant crow that crashes through our roof (the drop) into the sliding-door closet in the southwest bedroom (preparedness for return to consciousness and getting dressed for school). It then seems too fat to fly (my dream has ended), cartoonish (not real life), and puzzled (“Am I dreaming?”). The bird’s position matches mine (partly on my stomach), and there is very slight vestibular modulation (stomach-based). Induction: Neighbor girl peeks from around tree but hides again. (My focus on a tree represents associations with how my physical body cannot move while asleep.) Is the process complete? Yes.

September 21, 2019. I get on a bus with my two youngest children. A teenage girl will be driving it (induction as anticipation of vestibular processing with a female personification of it). She deliberately steers the bus off the edge of a second-level parking lot so that it drops to the perpendicular street below. I vividly feel the motions and momentum of the drop with an increase in perception of my physicality. I am unconcerned. Is the process complete? No, because I instinctually use it to vivify and sustain my dream and it continues for at least fifteen minutes with other scenarios (toward cognitive arousal as opening and studying the contents of a suitcase of which represents lesser consciousness while dreaming similarly as a cage represents the lack of controlling the physical body while sleeping).

June 13, 1978. The drop does not complete in this dream, but I am placing it here for comparison with the previous summary. I get on an airplane (anticipation of vestibular processing) with a teenage female pilot. She has difficulty flying it as I vividly feel the motion and momentum. We go under the Eiffel Tower before rising into the sky. (There is no uneasiness because of my liminal awareness of modulating the process.) Induction: The typical Naiad factor (water induction) that in this case, transitioned into hippopotamuses swallowing swimmers and people in a competitive rowing contest. Is the process complete? Technically no, as it transitions into the rising experience instead of the drop.

August 23, 1987. In this dream, a helicopter falls from the sky while a friend and I are fishing (seeking consciousness emergence after water induction and the Naiad factor). After crashing, it transforms into a digging machine, with the helicopter rotary blades throwing dirt everywhere as it goes a little lower into the ground. My friend looks on with puzzlement (“Am I dreaming?”). Is the process complete? Technically no, as the event stems from anticipation or expectation of a return to slow-wave sleep.

September 17, 1978. A navy jet drops from the sky at the south side yard of our house but somehow “freezes” in midair before hitting the ground. The pilot cheerfully talks to my father as if asking for directions. I assume he will continue (though my puzzlement, “Am I dreaming?” results in waking without discernible vestibular modulation). Induction: Generic Naiad factor, neighbor in a pool, though my father is seen as a sea captain for a short time before the next process. Is the process complete? No, but it still resulted in (a soft) waking.

November 4, 1972. As I am in bed (in my dream), an airplane flies over the area where I live. A cage falls to the ground from high above into my front yard. It contains the cartoon version of the Tasmanian devil, but I do not feel threatened or afraid at any point. (Induction was the Naiad factor that shifted into this stage.) Is the process complete? Yes, but the perception of my real physicality has not correlated at this point. A cage typically represents the inability to move the body while sleeping.

February 18, 2019. A drone that I assume belongs to either the government or a local business slowly gets close to the ground (though it was first high in the sky) as I am in our backyard. Although it looks like the Galileo shuttlecraft from “Star Trek,” I do not associate with it as such. In a later scene, I am holding it in my arms. There is a movement that feels as if an animal may be inside (unverified). Induction stemmed from water from a broken light bulb in the bathroom. Is the process complete? No, it continues through cognitive arousal (attempting to read the writing on the spacecraft) and a more intrusive preconscious presence. (A red light, the most extreme waking alert factor typically from sleeping too long, moves through my son’s head as a result of a laser from the drone.)

April 8, 2013. Jets fly overhead, as well as a small UFO that soon looks like the original Romulan Bird-of-Prey I got for Christmas as a boy (though bigger than my model). It comes closer, but crashes to the ground, sliding a short distance. I approach it without fear. There is no pilot. I pull out a computer chip that slides out and is about the size of a stick of gum, though thicker. Is the process complete? No, as by taking out the computer chip (autosymbolically disconnecting the emerging consciousness and emerging physicality), it extends my dream, and as a result, becomes a more dramatic preconscious scenario with the military. I later hit an MP on the head with the handle of a screwdriver as an association with consciousness emergence. (Induction was two Naiads trying to solve a typical square maze.)

I will continue from here, on additional pages, to reveal many more extraordinary and wonderfully unique examples of the same processes.

The Suitcase and the Stolen Sweepstakes Entries

    by Blue_Opossum on 09-20-2019 at 11:33 AM
Morning of September 20, 2019. Friday.

Dream #: 19,268-02. Reading time (optimized): 1 min.

My oldest son’s Tae Kwon Do teacher is in an area that vaguely reminds me of my middle school (conscious afterthought only). There is a backstory having something to do with a contest or sweepstakes. Eventually, an unknown teenage girl shows up and has an angry disposition. (She vaguely reminds me of Brenda, though this is never validated and I have not seen her since I was in tenth grade.)

The girl is angry because she does not have sweepstakes entry forms. They relate to Bugs Bunny somehow. I can see the dotted line on the A4 paper where people add personal details to a coupon. She takes several copies.

When I am more aware of my waking life identity (here as a result of precursory vestibular modulation, though still instinctual), my youngest son and daughter are with me. We get on a bus that the teenage girl is going to drive. (We are the only people on the bus other than the driver.) The setting now seems to be Toombul Shoppingtown. However, the bus is on a fictitious second-level parking lot. She drives to the edge without stopping, and the bus drops a full level to the perpendicular street below. Instinctually, I am unconcerned (and have subliminal control of the process at this point), and after the vehicle’s short flight, we continue as if nothing had happened.

I look through documents in a suitcase (cognitive arousal) in an unknown location with a group of people. Old dream journals are also in it.

    A Train Becomes a Shed

    by Blue_Opossum on 09-13-2019 at 03:13 PM
Morning of September 13, 2019. Friday.

Dream #: 19,261-01. Reading time (optimized): 1 min.

I enter an instinctually motivated dreaming experience of watching a train in Brisbane in the late morning (anticipation of vestibular modulation). Several unknown people are present. Instead of boarding it, I continue to stand in the area and watch it leave.

I decide I may get the train after all and manage to catch up when it makes a stop. The setting is now rural, and the train seems to have become a ramshackle shed. Welding sparks from an unseen welder scatter from beyond the other side of one corner to the right (neural synchrony).

This dream stems from the same process as “Typewriter Train.” I was flying over a train that screeched and suddenly stopped. The front of the train was a giant black 1940s typewriter (potential cognitive arousal). The train had run out of track and dug slightly into the ground.

Another version of the same process occurred in “Helicopter Digger.” While a friend and I were fishing, a helicopter came down, and its rotor blades dug into the ground.

The first dream’s last scene is consciousness initiation and emerging from the dream state (neural synchrony in waking point modulation as emerging sparks as analogous with fire, lightning, and electricity).

The second dream is vestibular modulation transitioning to potential cognitive arousal, but with the association of needing physicality to relay information (typewriter). (The mind and body must connect to wake and move.)

The third dream is vestibular modulation transitioning to the anticipation (or desire) of returning to slow-wave sleep.

    The Propeller

    by Blue_Opossum on 09-13-2019 at 09:05 AM
Morning of March 5, 2019. Tuesday.

Dream #: 19,069-04. Reading time (optimized): 1 min.

I stand in the early afternoon in an unknown location directly facing the propeller of a small white airplane. The propeller moves a short distance counterclockwise, but then it seems like it had not. I try to determine if it had by concentrating on the scene. I do not see a pilot, as the windows reflect blue sky and white clouds with a gray hue.

I consider the essence of a slipstream, though mainly, since childhood, my modulation of the imaginary physicality of dreaming has been about balance or hovering to sustain and vivify a dream. I know there would have to be no imagined physical contact (despite ordinary wall mediation using phasing). I feel a sense of movement, but wake.

“Beautiful Sparkling Tornadoes” from this date was about phasing and slipstreams as well. It is the principal factor of dream entry and egress. (That dream had a fictitious author who wrote about unknown creatures coming through the slipstream to “threaten humanity,” though there was no threat to me.) I can assume (at an esoteric level) that a tornado is a primary vehicle of enigmatic space (when it models the virtual Merkaba), yet which I have modulated even in childhood with one of my favorite dreams of spinning a merry-go-round to counteract an oncoming tornado.

dream type: liminal modulation of imaginary physicality, supraliminal imaginary slipstream (virtual Merkaba)

Induction, dreaming, and waking processes stem from the same dynamics regardless of any personification or preconscious simulacrum. There is no vestibular system personification here, only me.

    Our Mansion with Amazing Amalgamations

    by Blue_Opossum on 08-10-2019 at 01:12 PM
Morning of August 10, 2019. Saturday.

Dream #: 19,227-02. Reading time (optimized): 3 min.

This online dream journal entry describes and explains chronological segments from instinctual dreaming, that is, dream exploration and control without so-called lucidity. Such dreams share the same processes, often in the same order towards the waking process. Their content mainly stems from modulatory factors of both (precursory) liminal space and enigmatic space with the usual dream state indicators, vestibular system adaptation, and wall mediation.

My dream is atypical as it provides two porch settings, one for co-occurrence with liminal space, one for enigmatic space. (Usually, one porch serves as both in an amalgam. Because of that, I mostly only use the typification “porch as liminal space” as enigmatic space is tricky to confirm without reasonable evidence.)

My ongoing dream vivifies with the process of exploring instinctual realization that I am asleep as has occurred every sleep cycle since I was a toddler. I find myself in the Cubitis house (irrelevant since 1978) without my conscious identity. Earl (half-brother on my mother’s side; deceased) is sleeping on the floor in my old bedroom with his head oriented toward the door. It is just light enough to see some detail. I have no recall he had died or any recall of ever having lived in Wisconsin at this point (only this Florida setting). There are stacks of books on the floor. Earl’s head is close to one small pile of about four books as he is on his left side (as I am in reality as sleep simulacra in dreams typically match my sleeping position). I tell him to be careful about one possibly falling on his head. (This is my subliminal directive to remain asleep, as books require wakefulness to read.) I see the moonlight through the south window and consider the beauty of my room.

Dream processes progress toward liminal space emergence. There is a vague backstory of having human remains in a small sack (a play on being in bed). They represent the essence of my dream self being ephemeral illusory “remains” of my waking life identity. It is still nighttime. Regardless of just having been in the house in Cubitis, Florida, I am now on the front porch of the Barolin Street house in Australia. I recall I had placed the remains in the basement but in the open. I also consider I should check to see if there is enough food in the house. I wonder if Earl will need something to eat or drink soon. I soon see bright light shining up through the floorboards. I consider the basement light is on. Eventually, that area of the porch floor (south side) is missing, and I can look down to see one section of the basement. (Note that there was no basement in any house I have lived in, in Australia.) I realize I need to turn the light off, so the public does not see into our basement or start intruding upon that area.

I go outside and walk around to the back of the Barolin Street house. Nevertheless, I soon reach the front of the Loomis Street house without a second thought. The porch door is erroneously at the south side instead of the front (east). At this point, enigmatic space emerges to a lesser degree. With ambiguity, I consider there may be people active on the street at the front of the house (even though it was the back of the house seconds ago). After I am on the porch, my perception of physicality intensifies. I vividly feel the hook as I fit it perfectly into the eye latch, oriented on the right. (This act is the most vivid part of my dream.)

I wander around in the basement. I see various packages of food and consider how much effort was needed to place it in different areas. I see many boxes of cereal and packets of potato chips that are almost empty.

My focus changes. I start thinking that there are two access points at the front of the house, my illusory thoughts again erroneously contemplating the front of the Barolin Street house. However, to the left would be the outside area of the Stadcor Street house. Instead of a basement wall directly in front of me, it is a garage door that opens into the front yard. I falsely recall this is how someone carried the groceries in.

From here, I step into the lounge room of our present home (W Street). Zsuzsanna says something to me about needing a flashlight (consciousness).
