      Constantly tired?

Hey guys, I've been into the whole lucid dreaming thing since about feb this year. Until a while ago I used to experiment with a lot of binaural beats and such when I went to bed, early in the morning, in the afternoon, etc. I'm not sure if this has somehow messed up a bit of me somehow though, because I'm always tired these days.. I don't know whether it's due to sleeping patterns or what, but it certainly wasn't happening before I tried all these binaurals.

Well, have you noticed a change in your sleep schedule? This can definitely cause you to feel tired until you get used to the new schedule. If you are listening to binaurals the entire time you sleep, it is possible that they may be affecting you. If you are just listening to them as you go to sleep only (not during sleep), they shouldn't be causing you problems.

Go running. It'll make you more tired immediately after, but then your body starts to rebuilt the muscles, that releases sugar.

I haven't used binaurals in months, but I think I did used to fall asleep with them on sometimes. My sleep schedule used to be asleep (or try to be) for 10pm and up for 6-7am (which later changed to 11 and up for 7-8). Now that I'm off college it's switched to anywhere from 12-1am to 10-1pm.

Maybe you are getting too much sleep.

When I get more than ten hours of sleep it usually makes me feel tired.

Also try taking long, hot showers in the morning, the only times that a shower can't make me feel good throughout the day is when I get less than 3 hours of sleep.

You haven't quite mentioned how much sleep you usually get and how much sleep you're getting right now.

Any questions about lucid dreaming? Drop me a PM here!

Maybe the beats are messing with when you wake up during a cycle. A lot of the time I wake up groggy and tired is when I wake up mid-cycle rather then not actually getting enough sleep. You could fix this by using a cycle calculator something like 'sleepyti.me' to time when you fall asleep and wake up, or look up on mealtimes and how that affects sleep patterns. I don't remember exactly what it was but your body bases it's rhythms off when you eat.

Sounds like that's your problem right there, you don't have a consistent schedule. I'm with ninja on this one, though. Get some exercise when you can, it makes a pretty big difference in your quality of sleep and that should help you a lot, regardless of when or how much sleep you're getting. Also, make sure you're eating right and that you're not getting too stressed out.
