    1. Tunnel of Spiders, Flying Over Stormreach, A Lucid Contract (February 17, 2012)

Once again I didn't daydream about anything in particular. I just wanted to become lucid. That may have influenced the last dream. It's also possible that I may have had spiders on my mind at one point.

      Tunnel of Spiders

I'm really not sure how to describe this dreamscape. I guess it was sort of like a Colorado dessert with all of the giant rocks and crap. I was walking around the lower area of a mountain with Claire. We were walking along a set of railroad tracks for some time just talking about something. It was probably something important that I really wanted to know. Somewhere in this I either became lucid because of the conversation or because I remembered Claire is a dream guide.

The tracks led towards a tunnel that was blocked by some really tough spider webs. There was a small cave to our left with a huge brown spider standing in it. Not really huge, but it was like bigger than my foot. It just sat there watching our every move.

Claire pointed her sword at it and said, "Go kill it."
      "What? Why?" I asked.
"Those webs won't disappear unless it dies." She said.
"Why do I have to do it though?" I asked her.
      "Because you're dragonborn!" She yelled.
"There is no way I'm dealing with anymore dream spiders!" I shouted.

As I said this the spider from the cave behind me started running towards me. My danger sense alerted me and I started running from it. I kept running in circles as it kept trying to bite my ass. Claire nearly killed me a few times while trying to slash it with her sword. Eventually the spider did jump on me. I grabbed it and threw it on the ground before it could bite me. Claire then stabbed it with her sword repeatedly until the spider stopped twitching. I crawled onto the ground and curled into a ball.

"I hate spiders, I hate spiders, I hate spiders..." I kept repeating.
"Don't be such a baby." Claire said.
"It tried to eat me!" I screamed.
"Get off the ground already. We have a job to do." She ordered me.

As I got up, I heard a rumbling sound. I looked down the tracks and saw a train coming. The train slowed down until it stopped in front of the tunnel. Chris stuck his head out the window and waved to us. Apparently he was driving the train.

"All aboard!" Chris yelled to us.
"What's with the train?" I asked him.
"You want to make it through the tunnel alive don't you?" He asked me.

Claire climbed the ladder onto the top of the train and I followed her. Once I reached the top, the train blew its whistle and started moving again. As It moved towards the tunnel I saw hundreds and hundreds of those giant brown spiders along the tunnel ways.

"Oh F***..." I said staring at all of them.
"Don't worry, we'll be fine." Claire said trying to build my confidence.
"Nope, I'm out of here." I said walking back towards the caboose.

Claire grabbed my hand and pulled me back. She then forced me into a battle stance as the train went into the tunnel. Claire started charging her lightning magic in her one hand to create a light source. I could now see thousands of spiders swarming around the tunnel. A few of them tried jumping at Claire, but she slashed them with her sword. A few of them jumped at me and I just slapped them away. My heart was racing and I couldn't really think clearly out of fear. 10 or more of them soon surrounded me in my confusion. Claire then jumped between me and them and started defending me. Each time one tried to jump at me she would rush in and slash it with her sword.

"Calm down, I won't let anything bad happen to you." Claire told me.
      "Okay." I said.

Seeing her slash spiders to pieces and saying that to me calmed me down some. I could still only punch and slap spiders though. I wasn't thinking about using any of my powers. Claire did a really awesome move with her lightning. She threw a ball of lightning at some spiders and it exploded into bunch of lightning bolts that killed many spiders.I looked at Claire and saw that she was getting exhausted. An extra big one snuck behind her an jumped at her. She turned around and tried to slash it, but she was too late. It held her down and started clawing at her (these spiders had claws).

This really angered me and I gave myself dragon hands. I gripped the spider's stomach with my claws and lifted it off of Claire. I ripped the spider's stomach open and threw it off of the train. Claires blood seemed to have attracted hundreds of other spiders who were previously docile. I tried to get Claire back up, but she could barely move. As the spiders moved closer I realized it was up to me to protect her this time.

I stood above Claire and created a shield of fire around us. It burned every spider that touched it, but they were starting to overpower it. I was really starting to struggle to keep the shield up. Claire then started to wake up a little.

      "Release your fury..." She said.
      "What?" I asked confused.
"Do it." She said before passing out again.

I really started to get angrier at this point and sort of understood what she meant. My whole body started glowing with a purple energy and my fire shield grew more poweful. I slowly let this power build up inside me. When it was full, I let out a powerful draconic roar and shot the flames out in both directions. I felt much more calm and relaxed after releasing my fury. Unfortunately this was a really long tunnel and there was another wave of spiders coming. I looked down at Claire to see how she was doing. She was more awake now and she took a drink of what looked like a healing potion. Her cuts started to heal and she sat up. She wasn't capable of standing anymore though, so I still had to fight alone.

I suddenly remembered Neji from Naruto using the 16 triagrams 128 palm thing on over a hundred spiders. I decided to mimic this with my fire element. I charged fire magic into my hands and got into the stance. All of the spiders started swarming in towards me. I rappidly hit all of them with my fire hands while circling around Claire. My main goal until we got out of the tunnel was to protect her. A bunch of them then jumped at me from all angles. I spun around and created a wave of fire in all directions to kill them. After all of this the train finally exited the tunnel. After getting a good distance away from the tunnel, Chris stopped the train.

I carried Claire on my back and climbed down the ladder. I walked to the front of the train to see what all of this trouble was worth. In the distance from the mountain I could see a bunch of floating islands. They were hidden in the clouds and had a bunch of dragons flying around them. I got too excited after this and woke up.

      Flying Over Stormreach

A pretty short lucid dream (because I forgot most of it). I had just grown dragon wings and was flying above the ocean. I was flying towards Stormreach's harbor off in the distance. I flew over the city and was amazed by it. Some general guy then started yelling at me something about having to go one a mission with a bunch of other soldiers. I just ignored him and went looking for some friends to quest with instead. I flew over a gate and landed in a street. I saw a horse carriage running full speed down the street at some guy who wasn't paying attention. For some reason I recognized this guy as Colton/Coolb3rt. I jumped in and grabbed Colton. I used my shadow magic to turn both of us into shadows so that we would phase through the carriage. I know a lot more happened in this dream, but I just can't seem to remember.

      A Lucid Contract

I was in a school like place called the "Lucid Academy". I most likely became lucid due to the name of the place. For the most part it looked like a normal highschool, but you would see kids practicing magic, summoning things, and flying all over the place. I was walking down the hall and talking to Chris about something before we bumped into some girl. She looked completely confused about everything that was happening.

"Where am I? What's happening here?" She asked.
      "You're dreaming." I told her.
      "I am?"
"This is the Lucid Academy." Chris told her.
"I don't want to lucid dream!" She yelled.
"What? Why wouldn't you want to lucid dream?" Chris asked.
      "Because it's scary!" She said.
"Okay, let's get this straight. In a lucid dream you can do ANYTHING you want!" I said.
"Yeah, it's really fun." Chris said.

Chris then summoned a large piece of paper. He mentioned something about signing a "lucid contract" and training the girl. Oddly he wasn't going to sign it, but wanted me and the girl to sign it. He handed me the blank paper and a marker to sign. I handed it back to Chris and he examined it as if he was checking to see if it was legitimate. I watched the girl write her name on it. It was hard for me to read, but I think it was either Carly or Molly written on it. She handed it back to Chris and he examined it again.

"Alright, it's official! You will make her become lucid every night from now on." Chris said.
      "Wait what?" I asked confused.
"Oh you didn't know?" Chris asked me.
There was a long pause before I asked the girl, "So are you lucid yet?"

She just sat there motionless wiith a blank expressionless stare. I waved my hand in front of her face to try to get her attention. With no response I could only assume she woke up or something.

"I don't do that everytime I wake up do I?" I asked Chris.

He laughed, but didn't give me a clear response. I spent the last minute of the dream trying to get the girl's attention.

      Uncontrollable Fury

I don't really remember the beginning of this dream. I do remember seeing a man standing inside a pond with a baby. Something about it didn't seem right, so I started walking over to the pond. I then saw him hold the baby under the water trying to drown it. I ran into the pond as fast as I could and punched the guy in the face. I brought the baby back to the surface and somehow got it to breathe again.

"What the hell were you trying to do???" I asked the man.
"That is the child of the enemy. He should be killed!" The man said.
"That's not his fault!" I exclaimed
"He'll grow up to be a monster. Give him to me." He demanded.
      "No." I told him.

He was about to take the baby from me by force, but I just punched him in the face again. I kind of knocked him out and left him floating on the water. I walked over to a house and left the child on a rocking chair. I then heard the sound of an animal crying in pain followed by laughter. That combination did not sound one bit right. I followed the sounds to back of the house. On the other side of the house I saw 3 men surrounding a dog. The dog was covered in cuts and bruises and it looked like it hadn't eaten in days. Two of the men were holding down the dog and beating it while the other guy was taking pictures of them.

It completely sickened me to watch this and my anger started rising quickly.
I somehow becaame lucid at this moment and decided I would go over there and beat some sense into those guys. Before I could even take my first step towards them the dog they were beating had died. They kicked it a few more times before tossing it to the side. I then saw them bring my dog out of the house and hold him down. One of them pulled out a pair of scissors and started cutting my dog's nose up. This pushed my anger far beyond its limits.

I transformed into a dragon and started growling. I actually found this scary because I completely stopped acting human. When the man was about to stick the scissors in my dog's eye I let out my most powerful draconic roar. It knocked them all to the ground and used time control to close the distance before they could get back up. The one with the camera did man age to get back up though and he attempted to run into the woods. He only made a few steps before I stabbed my claws right into his back. I used my earth element to smash him into the ground with as much force as powerful. I then started biting and clawing at him.

As I was doing this, the man with the scissors tried to sneak up from behind me and stab me. I saw this coming with my danger sense though and cut the man's stomach with my tail blade. When I turned to face him he tried to stab me again. I shoved my claws straight through his arm and he dropped his scissors in pain. I forced him to the ground with my claws still in his arm. I then started biting and pulling at his arm until it was completely ripped off. I finished him off by slashing my claws through his throat.

The last man pulled out a hand gun and shot me in the side. It knocked me to the ground and hurt like hell, but I didn't care at all. I got right back up and slowly started walking towards him. He tried firing another shot, but this time a purple spark appeared a few inches in front of me. The bullet seemed to have bounced off of this energy. He tried firing a few more shots at me, but the same thing happened whenever a bullet got near. I soon cornered the man against the house and started growling again. He stumbled to the ground and I pierced his chest with my claws to be sure he wouldn't crawl away. I then looked directly into his eyes and released a red energy (fear) into his mind. He started screaming in fear until he passed out a few seconds later. I ended it when I jumped up into the air and smashed his head with a tail strike.

I was now in some sort of killing frenzy. I was looking all around me for anything to kill. I started roaring and took out many trees with my draconic roar. It wasn't until I saw my dog lying on the ground in pain that I finally calmed down. I came back into control of myself and undid my dragon form. I walked over to my dog and used my healing magic on him before waking up.

When I woke up, I still had much anger inside me. So much in fact, that I had to punch my wall. My hand still hurts...

    3. Stopping the Dragon (January 6, 2012)

by , 01-07-2012 at 08:07 PM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      DreamLucidAwake

Many of the dreams I've had recently were too boring for me to remember except this one.

      Stopping the Dragon

I had a low level of lucidity for most of the dream. It was the middle of the night and I was standing in a large grassy field again. The night sky had many stars, but nothing particularly amazing. In the distance I could see a lake and some hills further away. To the left and right were two different castles that sat near the lake. I stood there and thought over which castle I wanted to explore. Then all of the sudden there was a sense of panic in the air. It felt like something dangerous like a battle was about to happen. So without thinking about which side I wanted to take, I made the long run to the castle on the left.

As I approached the gate I could see a few men setting up siege equipment in a tower. Looking through the metal bars of the gate I could see many people running around in chaos.

"Hey you! Stop!" Said one of the soldiers in the tower.
"Are you a Draflam?" The second guard asked.
"What the hell is a Draflam?" I responded.
A fireball hit the tower hard before one of the guards said, "Get inside quickly!"

The gate in front of me soon opened and I ran inside. I was constantly being pushed and shoved by the panicking citizens and the soldiers moving to position. The ground and walls of the castle shook a few times after each blast. I'm not even sure where these explosions where coming from. I eventually made it to a group of soldiers near a spiral staircase. Before I could even say anything I heard one final explosion from around the corner. I saw soldiers and debris fly against the other wall during the explosion.

The next thing I know all of the soldiers are yelling about a dragon. They managed to tie a black rope around the dragon that extended around the corner to where I'm at. I'm guessing the point of this was to make sure the dragon couldn't fly away and cause more trouble. I grabbed the rope and helped them pull against the dragons strength. Then I saw a familiar face to my side. It was a man that reminded me a lot of the squire and dragon tamer from previous dreams.

"You there!" He said pointing to me.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him?
"Outsider, who are you? Are you Aranian or one of those Draflams?" He asked me.
"I'm a Dragonborn." Was the only way I could think to respond.
"Outsider, you are not welcome here!" He said starting to become angry with me.
"Please, just let me help your people." I said desperately.
"Very well then." He said overlooking the situation.
"Quick, give me your match." I requested.

He tossed a box of matches to me and I suddenly had an idea. The rope was black and reminded me of a fuse. So I struck a match and lit the rope on fire. The soldiers down the line quickly started moving away as they noticed the fire. Once the fire moved around the corner I realized we only had about 5 seconds left.

"Everyone get down now!" I yelled.

All of the soldiers soon started running away from the area and taking cover. Me and the squire moved ducked down behind the stone staircase. Right as we ducked down a huge explosion was heard and felt from where the dragon was. I soon got back up off the floor covered in dust and debris. As everyone stood up they started to cheer at the defeat of the dragon. I was happy for a moment until I realized something the others didn't. Although I didn't see it, I could feel that the dragon was only wounded by the explosion and it had just retreated. I also realized that the other castle was still attacking us.

I ran up the spiral staircase that led to the castle walls. From there I could see an army approaching from the other side of the lake. Soon there were arrows and fireballs flying at us. I ran into the tower near the gate to help out the soldiers who helped me. Sadly the dream skips here and I can't remember what happened with them.

I was now sitting on the couch in my grandmother's living room. I had memories from earlier in the dream, but I wasn't lucid. I remembered that we had won the battle, but I had only wounded the dragon. I became nervous and worried that the dragon could come back any moment and attack. I looked out the window and it was pitch black. That made me even more nervous because the dragon could be right outside and I wouldn't know it. I walked into the dining room and saw a few family members sitting at the table talking. I ignored them and looked at the window behind them. It was too dark to see out that window too.

"Speak of the devil! How are ya?" My uncle spoke to me.
"Jolly, just jolly!" I said nervously looking through another dark window.
"That's good. Hey you look a bit worried. Is something wrong?"
"Nope..." I said and walked back to the living room.

I then sat on the couch and fell asleep. Next thing I know it's the middle of the day and I'm sitting in a tree in my backyard. Everything looked normal except there was a stone tower growing out of the back of my house. In the distance you could also see castle walls that surrounded the villages in the kingdom. I was sitting there telling my story a group of people below the tree. I just wrote my story though, so I'll skip to the end. I explained to them that the dragon was still alive, and I knew it would come back and attack the top of that tower. So I told them how I was going to go to the top to fight it, but they all walked away nervously. There was one person though that didn't walk away though.

As soon as I saw her I became lucid. It was the same elf in the red dress from the "Dragonborn Magic" and "Healing Potion Quest" dreams. She raised her hands in a way that I knew she was about to cast a lightning spell at me. I slowed down time and jumped off of the tree branch. I just barely dodge the lightning bolt. I immediately started running to the backdoor of my house/tower.

To make things more confusing, when I entered the building it looked more like a lab or hospital. There were a few sets of stairs that I didn't have time to climb. I jumped over the railing to the top and looked back. I saw the door slam open and heard foot steps. I couldn't see anyone though. "Oh crap! She knows an invisibility spell!" I said and started running again.

As I ran down the hallway of the hospital I remembered my magic. I took in a deep breath, turned around, and let out a powerful roar. It knocked her hard off her feet and disabled her invisibility spell. I ran towards her and jumped up in the air to kick her. She grabbed my foot though and threw me into one of the rooms to the right. I got up and went back into the hallway. I took in another deep breath and prepared for a roar. She started moving between rooms very quickly so I couldn't get a good aim on her. Then suddenly I realized that I really need to breath. So I let out my roar down the hall without hitting anything. The elf then came out of nowhere and knocked me to the ground. She was now on top of me and was about to blast me with a spell. I managed to let out one quick weak roar though. It made her stumble back against the other wall. I continued to let out a series of quick roars to keep her pinned. I started to think about how I was only taking short quick breaths for a moment. I woke up shortly after realizing it probably wasn't healthy.

      End

I wonder how things would have turned out if I did get to fight the dragon a second time. I also thought that elf died before after I tried to help her. Now she is trying to kill us again. Whose side is she on?
    4. Dragon Taming (January 2, 2012)

by , 01-03-2012 at 07:18 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      DreamLucidAwake

More dragon stuff and I'm happy with that. Some interesting things happened in this dream that made it the best lucid I've had to date. Not all was perfect though.

      Dragon Taming

I don't remember anything from before I became lucid (if there was anything). It was a bright day and I was in a small river valley. I water was shallow and you could see beautiful colored rocks below the water. There were small trees growing in the water along the rivers path. I was lucid and taking joy in the ability to perform nearly impossible parkour techniques.

I was jumping from tree to tree and trying to avoid the water as much as possible. There isn't much to say about it other than there was a lot of flipping and precision jumping. The freedom felt amazing. The last few jumps were the best. I jumped from one tree to the one in front of me and I spun around to the other side of it. I then jumped over to a large rock and jumped off of that onto a very high tree. I leaped off of this tree before I realized that there's nothing to jump to. Although I fell from a great hight, I was okay because I did a roll.

Now my goal was to get to the top of the cliff in front of me and out of the valley. I saw a crevice that I could wall jump on next to the waterfall. I ran straight towards it, but then I stopped when I saw a spiked wall to the left of it. The wall shot out and just barely missed me. I ran past the wall and into the crevice as the trap slowly reset itself. I then wall jumped all the way to the top. I even slid all the way back down right after just to do it again.

At the top was a great mansion that the river flowed around. I entered the mansion through the back door which led to my bedroom. I opened my bedroom door and everything looked like a mansion again. It was mostly empty though as if it had just been bought. I thought my family was in there somewhere and I had to ask my mother something. I searched a few nearby rooms, but I found no one. I then returned to the main hall where I saw my aunt looking outside through the wide open doors.

"Is mom here?" I asked her.
      "Your parents left." She said.
      "Where are they?" I asked.
"Just head north and you'll find them." She said.
"Okay, which way is north?" I asked while looking for a compas.
She pointed outside and said, "That way. Just past the mountains."

Before I went outside, I felt like exploring one more room. It was a living room that actually had furniture and stuff in it. This is when I realized I never stabilized. I started rubbing my hands together and noticed I had a glove on my right hand. It felt pretty real and the dream started to become more vivid than it already was. Suddenly I remembered hearing something about stabilizing by licking things. I licked my glove and it tasted like any other glove. I saw a glass table in front of me and then decided to try licking it. After I licked it there was a disgusting taste in my mouth. I looked at the table and saw that there was a yellow slime on it. I then spent the next 30 seconds scraping off my tounge and spitting the taste out. The dream became almost as vivid as real life, but I still wish I hadn't licked the table.

I then went outside to start my journey. The path looked like it would require me to go a long way east to go around the mountains. There were also mountains to the east though, so I figured it wouldn't be a favorable road. I thought about flying over the mountains, but I really just don't like standard flying in dreams. I kind of got distracted from my goal here and remembered my draconic roar. I figured that since I was still knew to it, I should practice it and try to make it stronger. I did at least five roars and each one was much louder than the ones from previous dreams. It was like the Lion King with the volume at 100. Most of my roars were just aimed into the sky where they wouldn't have an effect on anything. My last roar though, I looked at a tree, took a deep breath, and made an amazing sounding roar. It also instantly blasted the tree in two, which I thought was just great.

I then remembered that I needed to get over the mountains, and at the same time remembered that I'm Dragonborn. So I figured I could just fly a dragon. I looked towards the mountains to the east and held my hands out. "Summon dragons!" I commanded. I then saw a baby ice dragon and a baby earth dragon fly out from behind the mountains. I also saw the image of a giant (mountain size) earth dragon in the distance, but it didn't move. The two baby dragons started playing together in the air for a little bit before they finally landed in front of me. I reached out my hand and moved slowly towards the white one.

"Hey buddy!" I said as I moved towards it. The two dragons started to back away from me.
"Don't be scared, it's okay." I said trying to calm them. As I moved closer into their space, they started to become aggressive.
"No, no, I'm friendly! See?" I said holding my hand out to it.
"Oh shit!" I yelled as tried to bite me.

The ice dragon nearly bit my arm and the two of them were starting to growl at me. If I were to make one more attempt they would tear me to shreds in seconds. I guess baby dragons are just more timid and aggressive. It's not like I could fight against them though. You don't hurt the creature you're trying to befriend. Then an idea hit me. Summon a teacher!

For some reason I'm just no good at summoning people, but I'm really good at summoning dragons. So what if I summoned a dragon with a person riding it? I held my hand out and looked towards the mountains again. "Summon dragon tamer!" I commanded. I waited a few seconds before seeing a figure come out from behind the mountain. A fire dragon with a man on it then appeared next to me. The man was dressed in a funny outfit that reminded me a lot of the squire from many dreams ago.

"How do I tame one of these dragons?" I asked him.
      "With a ball." He said.
      "A ball...?" I said confused.
"You can use it to distract them long enough to get close and make friends with them." He explained to me.

He then pulled out a yellow ball that got the green dragon's attention. He tossed it and the dragon caught it and started to happily play with it. He then moved in close to it and started petting the dragon. It worked, and he had made the dragon his pet. The dragon tamer handed me the yellow ball and told me to try. I looked towards the white dragon, but it got scared and started running down the road. Naturally, I chased after it. When the dragon realized I was chasing it, it started to fly low to the ground. Then there were fences and walls in my way, but I managed to jump and flip over them. The dragon was starting to tire as chase went on, but my dad woke me up before the end.

      End

If the dragons weren't so timid I think this would have been the perfect lucid dream. I feel like I did learn something from all this though. Only problem is I don't care enough at the moment to figure that out.
    5. Healing Potion Quest(December 31, 2011)

by , 01-03-2012 at 02:32 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      DreamLucidAwake

I felt like this dream should have been recorded, but it became fragmented after a couple days. I can't remember any of the before lucid stuff.

      Healing Potion Quest

I was inside my grandmother's house at the front door. There was a female elf laying there, who may or may not be the same one from my last entry. She was in pain and dying after being attacked by either me or something else. I can't remember. She mentioned something about finding a healing potion.

Healing potions are always in a vial full of a red liquid for no reason at all. So I kept that in mind as I searched the house. I started in the living room and looked among the tables and shelves. I found a scented red candle sitting on a shelf. I figured it was a potion because it was something red inside a glass and smelled interesting. I ran back to the girl with the candle and smashed it onto the ground next to her.

      "That's a candle..." She mumbled.
"Damn it." I said, realizing how stupid it was to both pick a candle and to smash it.
"Okay, don't move. I'll check the bedroom!" I told her.

I ran about half way down the hallway before I heard a scream. I ran back to her and saw about three goblins with spears surrounding her. They got a few swipes in before I jumped between them and the elf. I grabbed the goblin to the right and smashed it into the middle one. Surprisingly that's all it took to kill them. The one to the left then made a jump towards me. I kicked it as hard as I could and it flew across the room and hit the wall. This one made an attempt to get back up. I finished it off with my draconic roar that blasted the goblin into the wall. I learned that my roar has a secondary effect. It released some sort of pressure wave that left the room in a mess. I was impressed by that.

My attention quickly went back to the elf. She looked like she would only last a minute at best before bleeding out. I then got an idea to summon a potion. I told myself, "There's a potion in the fridge." I then ran into the kitchen and saw an empty vial sitting on the counter. I took it and then opened the fridge. I found a lone pitcher full of a red liquid inside. I poured it into the vial and swished it around a little. I ran back to the girl as quick as I could. Sadly I was too late though. She died just as I crouched in front of her. The dream ended after I said a few sad things.

      End

This is the second time someone has died when I could have easily saved them. I seriously need to unlock my healing magic.

      DreamLucidAwake

Haven't wrote in my journal lately because I was busy with holiday stuff and generally unmotivated. This dream is important to me because I learned two very useful abilities.

      Dragonborn Magic

I can't remember much of anything from before I became lucid. It was night time and I was in a field. There were also grey clouds in the sky and it was starting to snow. I was by myself and surrounded by a low fence that was generating a force field. Chris and some other guy were in another one not too far away. They were fighting with a woman, who was an elf, and casting spells at each other. So now my current goal was to figure out how to get out of the force field and help them.

At this point I became lucid. I put my hands up in the air and kept making a throwing motion. I was attempting to cast a magic missle spell, but I just couldn't get it to work. I don't think I was really focusing on the spell enough. After trying at least 10 times I gave up and something interesting happened.

"Why isn't it working?!" I asked myself. It frustrated me because I was doing the exact same thing the other three were doing. Instinct suddenly started to take over like it did when I first used time control. I jumped into the air and roared loudly. A powerful wave of blue energy came out of the roar and blasted through the force field like it was nothing. I noticed that the others were now fighting in the center of the field and regained complete control of my actions again.

I jumped over the fence and then noticed my dog standing in front of me. She started to push me as I rubbed my hands together. After I had won the fight with her over stabilization, returned my focus to the fight. Instinct kind of took over again and I held my hands out flat while looking into the distance. I shouted, "Summon Ice Dragon!" A few seconds later I saw a shadowed figure flying out of the fog. The dragon flew very fast and was able to reach me in only about 10 seconds. It was full grown and looked very tame. I made a few steps forwards in an attempt to mount it. My dog tackled me before I could even touch the dragon and I woke up.

      End

I learned the draconic roar and how to summon dragons. I feel like this is related to the dream I had where the old man told me I was Dragonborn. I wonder if I'll gain other abilities from it...
