wow cool lucid there. its nice to read your dj entrys^^

and the first thing that crosses my mind is to summon some company. Looking back at the door to the room, which is now closed, I simply state, aloud: "You know what I like. Blonde. Pretty. C'mon."

A moment later the door handle turns and a short woman walks in. She's wearing a skirt and dark coloured tights. Her hair is indeed blonde and loose, falling to her shoulders. She smiles at me and lets me kiss her. I get my hand under her top to play with her breasts for a bit and then try to take her tights off. There is a bit of awkwardness as they won't disappear, but then we start to have sex. I make the fatal mistake of closing my eyes and lose the scene.
so easy hm? will try that^^

Up on one of the tall buildings a murder of crows are perched. Lazy birds. They should be flying. So I lift all of them into the air with telekinesis and start moving them around in the sky. They are resistant at first and refuse to flap their wings or even pretend, so it's just a bunch of black bird shapes rotating around in the air. Meh. Stupid birds.
ehehehe move your damn wings i cant do this the whole day...

My usual method of size manipulation is to use my breath, inhaling to grow, exhaling to shrink.
that sounds awesome. i sure will remember to try it. i never changed my size sofar but its on my (not too important) to do list

needed to google Drax the destroyer its from guardians of the galaxy? is it worth a watch? heard about it but didnt watched it yet.

lol your non lucid part. sometimes the signs just smash into your face and the one thing that triggers lucidity in the end is often the smallest hint of all^^
i envy you for your springroll... points for summoning and eating just like that^^ plus probably the nice taste. i never find any food in my pockets

False awakening. Dad walks in. Tells me it is 11.59. Shit I should be at work. He says its times like this when you wonder what you used to do before work fired you... Uh. Okay then. So I hurry to the bathroom, naked, to pee. And then Dad is standing outside the bathroom door joking about phasers. "Set phasers to stun!" I shout.
      hehe
congrats to your lucid^^ sounds atleast a little like fun

Thanks! I don't often have much luck with DEILD, but didn't want to fail the TOTY again after getting so close...

Nice job DEILDing back in! Dreams like to destabilize at the critical moment, just to torment us... cliffhanger endings are bad enough on TV!

Sounds exhilarating! So you missed your goal but still got a descent lucid out of it. It's those small wins that keep us going.

Yeah any dream with a motorbike in it is a good dream!

Wow I never really thought of writing anything... there's nothing really new or any "magic bullet" in particular. It's been (and still is) trial and error, lots of reading other posts, to find what works for me.

      *obfusc8 ponders writing something

      Hey obfusc8

Looks to me like these dreamers have touched on something concerning your cool LD's! Maybe you might consider writing up a thread of what your day/night practice is and how it works for you as you have worked it that's for sure

Thanks but as proved last night, it's not perfect.

I've been practicing for just over two years, and competitions definitely give me a boost, but I still get way more non-lucids than lucid dreams. Most nights the dawn naturally wakes me up for a WBTB, at which point I laugh at the silly dream signs I've missed earlier in the night, write up some notes, and then just go back to sleep (normally with eye mask and ear plugs) for one more sleep phase...

It's a mix, not all of them are so long. Sometimes it's just fragments.

Lunagoddess I believe it is possible to be as good as a natural. The brain is an amazing thing. Just because it's easier to learn as a child, doesn't mean it is impossible for an adult, it just takes longer and much more work!

I would still argue that you're a natural. Just a late bloomer

I agree with Spock, your DILDs are incredibly consistent. Plus you have awesome dream control.

I don't actually have any recollection of anyone doing a fight with teammates in the last competition, so I don't think I've ever had to decide whether it doubles up with the regular "fight an enemy" task. I seem to think they should be separate from one another, but you can only do one of each per competition anyway, so with your dream control skill, you should be able to make up that extra 10 points soon anyway .

I will give you the invulnerability for the Superman punch though, so that gives you a total of 92.5 points for the night.

How long have you been practicing? Do you normally get so many long DILDs?

      Thanks stoic and luna

Yeah I started paying closer attention to my fitbit sleep report to try and figure out exactly how long the dream was, but I'm no good at working out the duration of dream sections except based on how much 'dream stuff' got done.

Might be useful to give an estimated dream time for you Lucids I almost always do this, tho 25% of the time my estimate is <5 seconds and only 25% of the time is it >5 minutes (including void time)

Yes I have been planning some of my tasks among them perhaps to summon a tree just as you describe by sweeping hands upwards and make tree grow from ground or just materialize from air. (in combination I can then object transform into a pear, apple or banana tree for personal goal) (perhaps perform tree bending unspecified power) (or alternately cut the damn thing down with a summoned light saber) additionally I could use this tree as a spring board to possible Gnome TOTY by digging or finding tunnel (tho I suspect my luck would run out before I could smack a Gnome or two with a flash light or whatever

Also for element manipulation I was thinking of summoning a canyon and diving in (invulnerability, or flight) then use element manipulation to summon water although again I would wave hand and cause a flash flood, then I could attempt walk on water (intermediate challenge) and also breath underwater (new personal goal)

Likewise I have been thinking of the seven Task of the Year, in case of leprechaun I can likely use the stolen gold coin/coins to flip and land on edge (or at least fail miserably but try, tho I might need to summon a flat surface too have any chance)

      (posted comment #1 for me)
