lucid dream: 9-19-10



I haven't been recording any of my dreams lately, so it was surprising that I was able to have a lucid. I don't remember all the details, but it was a really long lucid and pretty vivid.


The first thing I remember was being in the computer room and looking in the closet. I had like 3 or 4 dresses in there and was looking for something to wear to homecoming. Two of the dresses I had never seen in my life and don't remember buying, so I'm not sure but I think that made me wonder if I was dreaming. But it seemed so real, there was no way I could be dreaming. But I did a reality check anyway and looked at my hands, one at a time. My left hand looked normal but my right hand had an extra finger, I I knew I had to be dreaming. I wasn't really sure what to do. I guess I just wanted to fool around and do random stuff so I went outside. I really don't remember a lot of what I did, but it was a really long dream. At one point I remember jumping up in the air and flapping my arms to try to get higher. I was in the middle of the road and cars would go past me. Someone shouted my name and I shouted back "My name is Elsia!" because they called me by my real name and apparently I was "Elsia" at the time. It was really hard to get high up in the air. Finally on the third time I got pretty high, I think it was about 6 stories up or so, but floated back down right away. I also remember something about a car crash.... but I don't remember any details. And I tried to teleport at some time. I acted like Hiro from the show Heroes and closed my eyes and tried to teleport but it didn't work. I also tried to stop time but that didn't work either. I was afraid of losing my lucidity so I focused on a blade of grass and it worked. Oh and then my friend Dani showed up at the bus stop for some reason(she doesn't live by me, or even take the bus) so I waited with her till the bus came. I started acting normal, just seeing where the dream would take me. We got on the bus and I forgot where it took us. Probably to school.

I wish I could remember more of this dream, it was really long and fun!

Exploding a Little Girl's Head LD(My first DEILD)

I was starting to wake up, and that's when I realized I was lucid. I decided to look down at my hands just for the heck of it, and I had more fingers than I normally would(unlike in my last lucid, which I had less fngers). Everything seemed really clear and life-like, so I was scared that I would wake myself up but I think I'm getting better at controlling that, because I became very stable. I was in my house again, and decided to go outside and experiment and have some fun. As I was walking out across my lawn, I would jump in the air and see how high I could float. One of those times I decided to jump and then flap my arms and "swim" up and see how far I could go. I got to be about 4 or 5 stories up I think when I started heading back down. I'm not too good with flying yet. So then I saw these two sisters walking down the sidewalk, the older one(8? years old) pushing the younger one(around 4) in a stroller. I don't know why, but I wanted to make the younger one's head explode, just for a quick experiment before I went on to do something else. I focused on her head and imagined it exploding. I did this for awhile, and nothing happened except the little one started crying and the older one got really mad at me. I must have lost lucidity after this because I don't remember anything else.


Killer

I don't remember the first part of this too clearly, so these are just some details. I was at my house with some older people, I don't rememer who, when some woman turned evil and wanted to kill me. She said that I "had to die." I ran to my dad's room and went on his bed and had an explosive in my hand that you would light up and the flame would go down the string uptil it reached the bomb part. When she came in, I tried to throw it at her but missed, then somehow got into the garage and tried again, but missed again and this time set the garage on fire. I had to get out of there, but she stood in the way of the door. I somehow managed to get out and on the roof. I saw an elderly couple walking towards the house as if nothing had happened, so I jumped off the roof down to them and kept screaming "CALL 911! CALL 911 NOW!!" but they kept saying "What??" like they couldn't hear me. I even screaming their ears but they still couldn't hear me! Then I ran to the bushes behind my house to hide and called 911 myself.

Then I met this other girl in the bushes who was wearing this huge puffy pink dress. I called her by what I thought was her name, but later found out that she changes her name 4 times a year, depending on the season. Anyways, we ran into the neighborhoods behind my house and it was around midnight or so. Every once in awhile, I would jump up really high in the air and go above the trees and houses just for the fun of it. At one time, one of my neighbors came out of her house and complained, but not at us. Apparently her car? or something was making noises and keeping her awake.

I don't remember what happened after this, but eventually I was back at my house and the next day, the cop finally showed up. He was cautiously going into the bushes, where I told him I was hiding. I went outside to tell him that I was fine and he was super late but couldn't find him.


Crash

Me and Ali were planning on going on a road trip to this really pretty island thing in the middle of Colorado(which was only like 1 or 2 state away when I looked at the map, but in reality its more than that). She said she could get us free plane tickets(we took the car anyway, so what's the point?). So I told my parents and they said it was okay. We were going to take my sister's car and we were going to take my parents with us and drop them off somewhere on the way to Colorado. On the way to pick up Ali, my dad went the wrong way and went to my other friend's house instead(I don't know why, because its super easy to get to Ali's house, it's close by mine). I told him to turn right at the next stop sign but he turned left, and we went into this section where there were snow covered hills that looked like mountains and the road was really curvy and went up and down. It was like a smaller version of the roads you would see in Colorado, and I thought it was really cool. Anyway, we eventually finally somehow got my friend in the car, and started driving to CO. The roads were really dangerous now. They were up really high in the sky, and there were tons of cut-offs that you could take and go the wrong way on accident, really sharp turns, and all the cars were going like 100mph. Ali was driving and I was nervous for her because, well, the roads were terrible! We were approaching a tight curve when two cars in front of us crashed into each other. Time seemed to stop, and everything was going really really slowly. The cars were just in front of us now, and it seemed like there was no way to get around. Then my mom told us to back up, so somehow I helped as we slowly backed up as everything around us was frozen. This way, the cars could go off the side of the road(there weren't any walls in this section, which was weird because why wouldn't there be walls on the CURVED section??) and fall back to Earth.. and die. So we did just that and it looked like we were going to be safe.. but then I woke up.


Gymnast in the Air

I was walking over this tall bridge/road thing when I saw an outdoor gymnasium. I looked down and saw some people down there practicing gymnastics. There was a billboard right by the bridge, and some girls from my school were on it, practicing(more like showing off) gymnastics on it with no safety ropes or anything. I don't know why, but I decided to go onto the billboard with them just to check it out. I somehow managed to get on it and saw more girls from my school doing gymnastics. One girl laid a balance beam(a floor one) down in mid air and started walking across it. I was really scared that she was going to fall off it, and I think I actually had to catch her and all the other girls at one point. They were hanging onto strings below me and I was holding them. It was really heavy but I had to hold on until I made it back to the bridge. I got back safely, but I think one of the girls died.

lucid dream: 8-15-10

I haven't had a lucid in awhile so this was very unexpected

I had just woken up and went into the bathroom. I stood in front of the mirror and realized that something wasn't quite right so I looked down at my hands and I was missing some fingers. That's when I realized that I was dreaming. I got excited and started losing it so I tried a new technique(usually I dream spin to stabilize) and tried focusing on a shampoo bottle. Then everything in the room became really clear and I slowly made my way out my front door and stood on my driveway. I wanted to do one of my dream goals, which was to relive another dream that I had in the past, so I closed my eyes and imagined a bright yellow light. When I opened them, a guy from the sidewalk across the road started to float up and he was surrounded by the yellow light, like he was on fire or something. I think he might have exploded but I don't remember for sure. This wasn't the way it was supposed to be so I tried again. I don't remember what happened.

I have been having trouble remembering my dreams lately, so I can only recall fragments.


Short Lucid Fragment

In one dream, I was talking to someone who I think was important. Actually, they were talking to me. I was lucid the whole time, but just sat there and listened. The background was a blue sky, and we were up in the clouds. I wish I could remember what was being said.


Mr. Echo

I think this dream might have been a lucid one since I wanted to wake up from it..

I fell back asleep using the FILD method, which actually works really well. But when the dream opened, Mr. Echo from the television show Lost showed up. For some reason, I was really scared of him and didn't want to see him or talk to him so I tried to wake myself up again. He said something like "no.. wait!" but it was too late.I was drifting in and out of the dream. Finally I decided to return to the dream but I just couldn't get back to it.

Chemistry Class

I was in chemistry class(this is my second LD that started in chem class..) when I realized that I was lucid. I looked down at my hands but they looked normal. This didn't stop me though. I looked around and noticed that everything was exactly the same as real life. I was sitting in the same seat. I got up, kind of nervous that maybe I wasn't dreaming, but went up to the teacher at the front of the class and said "I don't care!" because she was talking about some boring chem stuff... In reply she said "Why?" and I said "Because I'm lucid dreaming!" and she started saying stuff but I ignored her and started trying to figure out what to do next. I attempted to fly right there in the class but that didn't work. I didn't want to lose my dream so I just kept myself calm and walking around the classroom for a little while. Then I decided to go outside and attempt to fly. The fastest way out was the window, so I went over to it and gave it a good kick, which broke it. I went through it and jumped out of it, attempting to fly, which worked a little but then I floated back down to the ground. I don't remember what happened after that.. but I don't remember waking up or anything.. I must have just lost the LD.

4 People 1 Bike

I was at my house one afternoon when three of my friends showed up, including one of them that I don't like too much, wanting me to take them to the store. I was sick of taking them to the store because they always wanted a ride from me and I felt like a taxi driver. I agreed to go anyway, but only because I wanted to get some ice cream cones from the store. We went outside on the driveway and sitting there was a red bicycle. We decided to take that to the store. I sat on the seat while one of my friends stood on the metal things in back(i don't know what they are called..). Somehow, my two other friends managed to squeeze on the bike also. I was nervous when I took off because the bike felt really wobbly. When I went down the bump in my driveway, everyone fell off. I thought that they would want to give up, but they just got right back on the bike and I started peddling down the road. On the way, there was this random kid who stopped and wanted to take our picture. I wanted him to take it because I thought that it was amazing how we could fit so many people on that little bike and I wanted to remember the epic journey. I'm not sure if he actually took it or not, but shortly after that my friends started getting off the bike for some reason and were walking instead. This made me angry because I wanted to continue our epic 4 person 1 bike quest. I don't think we ever made it to the store...


The Party is Over, Kesha


Me and my friend were at a library(not my usual one, some other one that was next to some other stores). I was looking for a certain book when out of nowhere, Kesha the singer showed up and started singing "Tik Tok." I got really annoyed because all I wanted to do was find my book and get out of there, but this stupid ***** was in my way(haha, yes, I really did feel that way..) So I started singing along to her song, but I changed the lyrics to something like "you are really annoying and shouldn't be singing in the library!" It was something like that, but it sounded really good the way I sang it along with her music. I was really proud of myself. That made her leave, which I was happy about. Then I remember going outside to the parking lot. There were tons cops and then my dad showed up, driving like a maniac. I was scared that he would get pulled over for reckless driving, but the cops didn't seem to care.

Fragments

I remember being on some crazy roller coaster ride. I had to go into the back seat because the other seats were either taken or broken. When it started, it kept flinging me off and I would somehow have to get back on.. it was really scary. I don't remember much about it.

I also remember something about jumping into a pool and sinking to the bottom curled up in a ball. When I reached the bottom I didn't feel like moving so I just kind of stayed there...


Friend's house Lucid

I was at Dani's house on a bright summer day. I looked down at my hands and realized that I was lucid. I had 6 fingers on each hand. I decided to go outside and attempt to fly, so I went out through her garage and stood on her driveway, attempting to jump up and fly.


Other Lucid

I also had another lucid in which I was outside and I saw this girl and followed her up a hill.. I don't feel like adding more details.... it wasn't a sexual dream, I just don't want to share it.

For the last half a month or so, I have been waking up early and attempting to WILD. Each time I have failed, but this time I got a DILD at 5a.m. (I attempted a WILD at 4am and fell right asleep). I don't have time right now to list all the dreams I had last night, so I'll just list the lucid one for now.

I was in chemistry class and we were doing a lab. My lab partner was this new girl in my class, who was really annoying and tried to act all cool by doing stupid stuff.. we had to staple a packet of papers together so I got this weird yellow small stapler and stapled them together and the girl said something stupid.. i dont remember what. Then she was like "I can do whatever I want, I'm in a lucid dream." and that got me thinking and I realized "Hey, Im dreaming!" So I did some deam spinning to prevent losing it, which worked for a little while. Since we were in a huge tall building for some reason, I went to one of the wall-length windows in another room and wanted to try flying. I tried to jump through the windows but they were angled weird, like sloped towards me. Each time I jumped, I would bounce right back. So I decided to try to just jump straight up through the ceiling and out the top of the building. I don't think that worked.. I ended up waking up shortly after that.

Spanish Class in the Mall Lucid

In the first one, I was about to return to my eighth hour class. To get there, I remembered my teacher taking me there through a mall last time we went there. So I went into the mall but I couldn't remember which way to go. Then I asked this girl from my class and she said "just keep going that way down the street." She didn't say anything about the mall and I was confused. Then I realized that there was no way you could walk through a mall to get to my class so I knew I was dreaming. I returned to the mall for a brief time before waking up.


Short WBTB

In the second one, I was so happy about achieving an LD that I decided to try again. I got up at 6am the next day to go to the bathroom, then returned to try a WBTB. It worked. I was in this house.. and I don't really know how to- or want to- describe it. Then I was flying around being Elsia for awhile but decided to do something else. I appeared in Criss Angel's room. It was a really long dream in which I was going in and out of the LD and waking life.

Talking With Criss


I met Criss Angel, at some place.. I dont know where, he was signing autographs. I got his autograph and he actually sat down and talked to me. There were other fans by us, but it seemed like he cared more about talking to me then talking to them.. Thats all I remember. When I woke up, I tried hard to remember it but thats all I could think of..


Gum Wrapper for Bus Ticket

I was in school and I thought "hey, its August!(its actually July though..) we don't even have school yet." But I went to math class anyway and sat by Allie. I thought how weird it was to have math class again with the same friend and same teacher. I realized I only had half my homework done but the teacher said it was okay. When it was time to go home, instead of riding the bus, people rode in vans. You needed a ticket to get it the van. Katelyn handed her a ticket and I realized that I didn't have one. Then I realized that the driver is probably too dumb to notice, so instead of handing her a ticket, I handed her a gum wrapper that was the same color as the ticket. I hesitated before getting in the van, but she accepted my ticket and I got it. Thats all I remember..


Short School Lucid


Then I was in the school hallway and I realized that I could be having a lucid dream if I wanted too(its almost like I kind of knew I was dreaming the whole time.) I knew my dream was going to fade away so I started running because I thought it might help. Then I spun around but I could tell that it was fading. Pretty soon I could here my friend, Brittany turning around in her bunk bed and I knew I was awake.


Friend Driving

I went back to bed at like 9:40am. Had a dream I was in a car on the freeway with Ali and Katelyn. I was in the back seat and Katelyn was in front and Ali was driving but the wheel was on the right side. She was a new driver, not that experienced(in real life she hadnt even taken the driving class yet..) She avoided an old man walking across the street. Next we saw a policecar. She slowed down to 30mph when the speed limit was 35mph because their was a slow car in front. Then, the car in front of her rammed into the car in front of it. Ali quickly turned the car around it. "Man I can't believe all this stuff I have to deal with.." she said.


False Awakening

I remember going downstairs in my cabin(this was a false awakening) and I was hungry so I grabbed some cheerios but didn't really want them so put them back. I looked at the clock and it said 11:30 or something.. Then I actually woke up. I thought it was 11:30am in real life so I got out of bed and went downstairs, thinking Brittany would already be awake and wondering why I slept so late. But it was actually only 10:15.(she sleeps until 10:30).

Monica Fragment

I really dont remember that much.. I remember these two guys chasing eachother by a barn in the woods... or something like that... and then a friend named Monica showed up and I dont know.. I was Elsia Star.. and something happened to me.. I dont remember what.. well anyway she called 911 for some reason and said "can i request an ambulance?" but one never showed up..I wasnt actually hurt though and I think she knew that. then later she said that we need to visit the (something, idk what she called it..something up in the sky). I tried to fly up with her but it didnt work. then the next thing i remember is standing by a lake with Monica and the lake was covered with clouds and so was the sky. then..

i realized I was dreaming.. but i wasnt sure if I wanted to have an LD because then I knew that this wouldnt seem real anymore.. and I would know that none of this is actually real. I had a choice: have an LD or just forget that I was dreaming and continue with my amazing adventure. Since I hadnt had an LD in a long time, I decided I'd give it a try. Even though I knew I was dreaming, I did a reality check and looked down at my hands but they looked normal. I still knew I was dreaming though. I started loosing the dream so I tried dream spinning, but I started hearing music, repeating itself over and over, and it was waking me up.. I thought it was coming from the real world.. but it was actually my dream music waking me up. Thats all I remember.

OK so it was a school day and a friday. I woke up at 5:30am and immediatly turned on the news channel to see if they closed my school because it was a blizzard outside. And of course we did. Snow day!! Anyways, I went back to sleep and tried a WILD. It worked right away. I appeared in this creepy place with dark trees and I looked down at my hands and they looked odd so I knew I must be dreaming. Then I transported myself to the high school pool for some reason and I started drowning.. thats all I remember.

It was a very short LD and very random, but better than nothing.

First Memorable LD: 8-20-08


okey so heres how it went:

i woke up at 10am one morning an decided to try to LD. I really didnt think it would work though. My mind just kinda imagined a room and all of a sudden I was in it! It only took like 1 min. to get into an LD!

So anyway, I appeared in this store, I think it was a bookstore or something. I started getting too excited and I started loosing it, so I tried dream spinning and it worked! Then I went outside and jumped 10ft in the air. then I decided to try to walk through a wall so I walked through a door!! I was like "whoa, this is so cool! i wonder if i can meet Criss Angel (a magician who is my hero and ive wanted to meet him FOREVER.) and i thought of him and he appeared!!! I hugged him and asked for his autograph but then some loud sounds woke me up, my mom.

but it was the best ever!! I hope i can meet Criss again in another LD sometime. I'll keep workin on it!!
