20-10-13 shared dream attempt The aim was to strengthen our connection. So far we have had pretty good syncs (excellent really) but some things have been playing out differently. So before trying out different ideas within the dreaming I wanted to strengthen our connection first by planning and incubating another dream. My daughter REALLY likes playing minecraft, which made me think of bringing some aspects of minecraft into the dream. For example, she has created a giant tree house within minecraft, so we decided to use that creation in minecraft as a basis to build around our dream tree. I feel building on our shared dreaming SPACE will help solidify the shared dreaming space so that we keep returning there for future excursions (hopefully automatically). Thinking about minecraft made me consider how, if we compare our personal dreaming to the hundreds of computer games out there, and similar to how each computer game is not compatible with another computer game - perhaps that is how the dreaming is configured? What I am saying is that perhaps we need to be playing the same GAME (metaphorically speaking) as one another before being able to connect? So by agreeing on the rules of how a dream plays out will help us connect easier to one another I think these are all things we need to consider when beginning a shared dream experience So, in my dream I find myself lucid, but seemingly having a little more time on my hands before I connect with my daughter (for some reason I felt it was a little too early) SO I flew around for a bit until I came accross some big guy dressed in medievil gear. He would not leave me alone so I pulled his legs off. And then he STILL came at me so I then pulled his arms off! Flying around a little more I wanted to try and 'fast travel' I focused on something in the background (I think it was somekind of a red tanker) and tried to 'pull' it toward me by applying focus to it - this had an amazing effect and I felt myself fly faster than I have ever before. YES, I learnt a new trick!! Next I found the moon in the sky and thought I would try and contact Nomad and Raven, I did the same trick and 'pulled' the moon toward me, I went whizzing through the sky but just before I was about to land the scene went blank. ** time missing?** After that I found it difficult to get back to sleep, going in and out, ....reading my daughter's dream journal and trying to enter HER dream that way... seeing a minecraft style map of our tree in progress... and then it was over, I felt something had passed but I do not remember it. My Daughter's Dream: I met daddy at the tree, I was so excited to get started on building the treehouse that I just said 'let's get going!' first of all we were stuck on how we were going to create the block shapes that existed in minecraft but then I had the idea of bundling some sticks into a block and then using THEM as the building blocks. We built the first floor and second floor, but it was about halfway through and I felt ill so I had to wake up. There is no doubt in my mind that this happened, and I am REALLY excited to continue working on the treehouse with her next week (so am kinda glad that we did not finish it this time around and will make sure I remember next week!)
Our plan was to meet at our tree and go to the wild west Briefly - here are the syncs we had this weekend: (above is my account and below is my daughter's) 1) - I found my daughter at the tree talking to a group of her friends, they were standing around her clearly impressed with something she had done, I talked to her - she acknowledged me but seemed to be 'somewhere else' at first I thought she was a dream character so I shook her hard and and called out her name, felt a 'power' surge through me and felt she had 'woke up' in the dream - my daughter was having a dream about giving her friend a ring she found on the floor - all of her friends were there and impressed with her generosity - she then finds herself running through a field to the tree with me conclusion - this was pretty amazing, I think I actually saw through to her as she was having a dream and pulled her out of it! 2) - I created a pink portal with her and we jumped through - my daughter dream t of creating a blue portal with me and we jumped through 3) - I find myself in the wild west, I am dressed as a cowboy standing next to my daughter, we decide to rob a bank/saloon - my daughter finds herself in the wildwest with me, we are both dressed as cowboys - we decide to rob a bank 4) - I tell my daughter to go out back and clear the place out while I start to collect money form the patrons - one puts his hand in his pocket and I think it is a gun so I shoot - but he is unharmed - my gun did not work! - my daughter tries out her gun but finds it does not work 5) - we walk out the bank and I plan to ride on some horses - but feel like I am forced to wake up - my daughter dreams we have finished at the bank so as soon as we leave we go into a portal together and arrive back at the tree - we say goodbye and wake up our dream finished at the same time again!
shared dream 13/10/13 I run to our tree and start calling out my daughter's name, I see her running to me in the distance - 'don't forget your dream guide' I shout to her A few seconds pass and then suddenly a brilliant green dragon comes swooping in out of nowhere right past me, it flies into the distance, turns, does a kind of loop the loop and swoops again past me, it is an amazing site to see. It finally lands and my daughter hops off from the back of the dragon. This is fantastic! I go toward the dragon, he is sitting straight, stone faced but calm. 'wow, so you are Illeana's dragon/dream guide?' 'yes, that is correct' his voice is deep and wise. But something is off... he didn't move his mouth when he talked! He was talking to me directly into my head. I turn to Illeana, 'your Dragon, he's talking to me telepathically - this is amazing!!' I take another closer lolok at him, his head is long, kind of beak shaped with black patches within the green. Without warning, as I am staring at the dragon his face changes, super imposed ontop, or within I see my daughter's face. wow, I guess this answers the question of where he comes from! I call out my dream guide, 'Lazo' we then both walk over to my dream guide, today he has white hair and a white beard - but is young -he seems to be albino. I give him a hug 'sorry about last time mate' I tell him, he hugs me back 'it's fine' he replies, and his reply sounds sincere. I introduce him to Illeana and then we walk into a building nearby. It is a bar, an old kind of bar - I don't stop to think while it has suddenly appeared out of nowhere next to our tree. I just follow my daughter inside -'you need to show me how to make a fireball' I tell her, I am finding it difficult to focus, things are becoming blurry - I rub my hands together and focus on a few objects in the room to stop myself from waking. There are people in the bar - who are they? 'it's just like this' Illeana replies making a movement of the fireball (like Ryu from streetfighter) but it is too fast, I could not follow, she then runs out of the building saying that we need to fight. I run after her but now I am half her size 'this makes absolutely NO sense' I tell her then wake up Illeana's dream (sync highlights): - I am flying toward the tree on my dragon, I fly around and land next to Daddy. - He talks to my dragon - we then go and say hello to Lazo, he has long brown hair and a brown beard. - I show daddy how to make a fire ball then we decide to fight (she then tells of how we have a fight using telekinetic powers (or using the force)) and we draw conclusions: It seems to me that once again we start off with a strong link - then as I started to loose focus I think I allowed my own dream (or other types of dreams) enter into the dream space. The link then started to break. So perhaps once a regular dream starts to permeate into the lucid dream the link starts to break up? We need to find a way to strengthen this link!
