April 22, 2025 - Around 5:27 AM I woke up in my bedroom. Going through my normal middle of the night routine, I tried to remember dreams, without success, and then I did reality checks. It was my hands that finally convinced me, but it was pretty dark, so to be safe, I moved about quietly to keep from waking my family. I climb the ladder into my attic, while trying to find Arina, (A character I made up.) After I get into the attic, I find my younger sister has followed me up. I think I talked to her for a bit, and I showed her my watch, which was wrong of course. I think she agreed that I was dreaming. At this point, I still wasn't able to find Arina, so I switch goals and try to find a place I made up called the House. Side Note: In waking life, I made a plan to accomplish both of these goals. I would use a doorway as a portal to a door in the House, and there I could find Arina. I also think Dream Control is easier in a setting that isn't a real place. But in this dream, I didn't actually use this plan... To get to the house, I jumped out the window to fly. I have found a method to fly from (many) previous dreams. At first I struggle a lot. Weirdly, the clouds are very low down, closer to the ground than the tops of the trees, and there somewhat solid, like an invisible wall. At some point I'm trying to do a Mario wall jump off of invisible walls to get higher. Then, I realize I have no idea where I'm going, so I pull up Google Maps. And then I'm at some kind of computer, but the dream is focused on google maps. It shows the entire Earth, so I type "The House" into the search bar, and it zooms into a particular place in Oregon. It shows the location in 3D, in a clearing in a forest near a lake. It doesn't show the House, but it does have these low-poly 3D birds flying around. Also, a meteor hits the ground in the middle of the clearing while I'm watching it. Shortly after that, the dream ends and I wake up. A few days later, I checked that location in google maps and found that it's actually a drier area with out a lake. I also discovered that Google Maps doesn't have 3D birds or meteors.
