    Hair Poetry

A girl was reading some poetry I wrote for a girlfriend over 20 years ago. I wanted to read it, so she gave it to me. I couldn't read the words. I noticed it was in a faded red folder. In my dream I had given my old girl friend these poems in a red folder, so I was concerned that it was her folder and had faded, and now my old girlfriend didn't have the folder anymore.

Another friend of mine appeared behind me. He said it was his copy. That could have made since even in waking life, so that was cool.

I started trying to read the poem again, but now the words were written in hair. A braid of hair glued to a basket. Another person and I started inspecting the hair closely to. We were looking for a break to distinguish one word from another.

At this point, the paper becomes a basket with wedge sections. The braided hair is cord on the top edge of the basket. I lift up a wedge to find the break between words and find the basket is stuffed with fluff.

I never could figure out what the hair said. (Imagine that!)

    The End

I think this is the kind of thing that you can only really visualize after youve dreamed it.

I'm kind of interested as to what dream poetry would be like, though.

Yea, I think you're right. Ultimately, the poetry was only hair.

I wrote part of a song in a dream. I sang it and remembered it all. When I upload it, I'll link you to it.

I love interesting dream-created things like hair poetry. People are rarely that weirdly creative in waking life.

I guess you're right. I don't know how creative it was though. It was just weird. I have thought about starting a business selling flowers where you buy flowers based on the first letter of the flowers spelling out your loved-ones name. That was a good one...in waking life.
