So walking around in your own mind...I was imagining you would create a visual hall or space that is the inside of your own mind, and then visit the various areas that the brain controls or experiences. The hall of bad memories, the room of sexual wishes, or a theater containing the best visuals from your waking experiences. Then visit the parts of your brain that control your hands and legs and see if you can activate them so that your real-life body moves even slightly.

Have you ever explored the dreams you had when you were a kid? I used to have a lot of dreams about traveling through pipes as a kid and I would like to explore them in a lucid dream. Do you think you could revisit those memories? I was thinking this and saw TiredPhil's post but I wouldn't recommend the substances.

I spent last night having lucid sex, but it was a dream that had a timeline spanning some 50 years and involved living a life active in politics. I gave speeches and campaigned for various human rights...and I was successful. Could you control a lucid dream that started when you were a young age (say a young teen) and live a different life that involved making a major impact on the world? What positive things would you like to create in that scenario? I think that sums up the true value of dreams for the human species, making the world a better place, and controlling a lucid to give you room to explore those possibilities is a worthy pursuit, imho.
