I've always seemed to have had this problem, but lately it seems to come on quicker.

Basically what happens to me is after using powers in LD's. (Most commonly shooting some sort of lightning or flame, causing earthquakes etc) As I use the power I will start to tire extremely quickly. The length of time it take seems to vary depending on what I am doing. For example flying is a fairly small drain, but doing things like shooting lightning from my hands etc. can leave me completely drained in what feels like 30 seconds or so.

Take last night, I was attempting to destroy a structure that rose form the ground. I was hovering in the air shooting lightning from both hands, after about 15 seconds I started to feel weak, over the next 15 seconds I slowly sank back to the ground as I focused all my energy trying to maintain the lightning. Eventually that gave out as well and I woke from the dream breathing heavily. (I attempted to DEILD but I was unable to fully catch my breath in the position I was laying in)

I'm not sure if the worsening of this problem recently is due being ill the last 6+ weeks, and not breathing as well at night in general, or if it is purely in my mind. (Right after I got sick, when I was in bed for basically 3 weeks straight, I actually woke from an LD with a horrible splitting migraine one morning, which I've never gotten before)

Is this just from watching TV/movies in which extended use of powers usually leaves people drained afterwords, and therefore simply in my head due to expecting it, or is there actually something to it? Any tips to avoid this are welcomed.
