What does your sleep paralysis sound like?

I am just curious if it sounds the same for everyone. I mean when you leave SP and enter the dream or anything during. For me, when I enter the dream from SP, it sounds like a lot of wind on microphone and a high pitched sound like a shrieking sound. I am going to work on a way to recreate this sound on my computer. Should be interesting. How about you people?

I hear all sorts of things. I like it when I hear very realistic bells. Very common for me is a sound like voices from a crowd at a distance that all blends so the words are just noise. I always find it very cool when my brain plays music that seems like a good replica of real songs with guitars and the voice. It probaly is not exact, but entertaining.

I've only induced SP once or twice (I aim to start trying to WILD again soon), but I'm pretty sure it just seemed like white noise - the same muffling sound I get before I faint.

My brain just buzzes. Sometimes it gets really loud and/or I hallucinate voices, whispering that overpowers. I don't know if that's still considered sp or something else, but I usually get too frightened to go any further.

I guess Galantamine dreams count as SP, right? Those are the ones where I tend to get loud voices, as if there's a party going on in the next room while I'm trying to sleep, or like there are people talking right behind me where I can't see them. Or sometimes I hear songs playing really loud.

That sound, when you shampoo your carpet and you can hear all the bubbles popping at once.

Also, the sound in your ears when you yawn.

Yeah I get that sometimes but I mean like when you cant move your body and your hallucinating and hearing things but you are able to open your eyes. So do you have much luck with G? I tried it a few nights and remembered a lot of dreams but no lucids.

Whenever i've had an SP, the sounds have been like an idling engine, or some electrical buzzing. Both voices get really loud.

Everyone seems to have a negitive experiance with SP. Is there any positive experiances out there?
Does anyone get a feeling that during SP that your spirit or life force is been moved from your body?

Usually, I hear two noises. One is like a ban saw or a saw saw and the other is like a really steady highpowered motorcycle engine. They reach this insane fever pitch before melding together and becoming a really soothing fuzzy vibration. The feeling is really similar to floating on my back in a pool...Havent quite gotten used to the process yet since it is friggin intense.
Its nice to know others are experiencing the same thing..

I have gotten sleep paralysis 2-3 times, each time as I was drifting into dreams, I would get a really loud sound, normally a feeling of my eardrums almost exploding under pressure. I will use this in the future as a signal to think about a place, focus on senses, and stabilize lucidity.

I have become quite interested on the layers of lucidity, and I use them to measure how lucid a dream is. For more information on these layers, click here.

My experiences used to be negative because I didn't understand what was happening to me and there was fear. But the more I learned about it and the more I began to relax into it and not fight it the more I was able to use it to become lucid. And yes when I DEILD I feel like my spirit moves out of my body but that is really just your dream body. Learn to control that and you will be in a LD. I have a method that works really well for me.

I had one the other night...I hear a very loud wooshing sound that builds to a very loud wooshing sound...I always feal fear and being pushed down hard on bed, also feel a dark presence in the room. During this time I opened my eyes and a man with deep blue eyes with a tounge coming out of one eye was in my face. I closed my eyes and reopened and a lady with green eyes was in my face with her tounge sticking out. closed my eyes and reopened and I was on the ocean floor looking around. I closed my eyes and said I want to be in a meadow, opened my eyes and I was. Also at this time everyting was so bright with very clear colors. So I closed my eys and said on the moon this time...then I woke up Oh well. SP doesnt scare me anymore. I look forward to the next one.....LOL

I think you entered the dream. Usually, if you relax, you will be lucid. Very cool though.

I have been only recently enlightened that not all the times I thought I was in SP, was actually SP. I realized most of those times, they were just normal bodily sensations, and not necessarily true sleep paralysis. However, at rare times when I do experience sleep paralysis, and I am stricken with the inability to move as well as uncomfortable crushing feelings, I hear very disturbing things.

I would hear intense screaming by a child – really bloodcurdling yells for help. As well as banging on my walls and scratching on my doors. I would also hear chains being dragged across the floor right beside me. And almost always, I would hear a man whispering my name in my ear, and speaking incomprehensible jibberish.

I get the auditory hallucinations normally before sleep, though they seem to be much more extreme when I am in sleep paralysis.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Ah paigey that still amazes me. I guess the point is not to give too much notice to the noise.

today I'm really mad because I woke up in SP without knowing it and this fear came to me, that if I'm staying still, I'm gonna be in a comma or something, and I was frightened

after I stood up I felt like a voice inside me was going: Congratulations! Your organism has just fooled ya!
and I was mad like hell.

Well, because it was induced before I know it, and I woke up in the middle of it, It sounded (and looked like) my thoughts

last time i had sleep paralysis it was really weird and scary.
i was lying in my bed facing the wall and then i sort of drifted off but didnt sleep, i just went straight into sleep paralysis. I heard this loud buzzing sound and felt a vibration all over my body, like the sound was paralyzing me.
I felt a strong presence behind me but couldnt turn to see. i could hear weird alien voice talking in some sort of garbled jibberish. i could hear 'them' going through my drawers next to my bed and going through all my papers.
this went on for a while, all the time i was scared shitless and couldn't move. eventually i was back to normal and the room went quiet. i lay there for a while listening to see if it was just my fan shuffling papers around but it couldn't have been the fan making the noise.
