Thread: Share your dream from last night in one sentence

My mom and I were in the kitchen eating cucumbers and in between bites, we were harmonizing to "Longer Than"

Had some "fun" with some girls, killed a zombie, ran through a town with some guy while firing hookshots from my hands, dived into a volcano, the planet's core exploded into a white purple-ish ball of energy and I happily dived into it as my whole painlessly burned of leaving only my soul wich burned off and then everything went black.
I think I have a new favorite dream.

I ended up naked outside on a city block, and was chased by an angry neighbor, then his dog, then a cop, then I knocked on the wrong door, and the last door I tried had some angry animal near it, growling at me from the shadows.

Going through tests to be recruited to CIA.

I was on a road trip with a few coworkers and some strangers, one of which kept singing "America The Beautiful" every 2 minutes, which made me realize something wasn't right. I became lucid but then realized that my real body needed to pee, which kind of killed the dream.

fought a nerd with my katana and he kept picking up different things to fight me with...was scary when he slung a sledgehammer at me but i ducked and decapitated him, all because he was talking to my circle of friends

Not bad for jet lag dreams:

+ with sister and brother in law, I say do they want to turn to the left or to the right to avoid the approaching snow avalanche.

+ trying to think of where to set up business, we choose the beach, because there is already a huge garbage processing facility there.

+ in a parking lot and a crazy driver in a black SUV drives through at high speed.

+ new top 5 sex dream, maybe top 3, in the "final seconds to completion" half woke up and was concerned that my hips were moving in waking life which stopped the action, Aaaaaargh!

Got chased by a large oversized green eel on dry land.

i....i...saw someone get........raped.

"What was I just dreaming?" is magical. Went from nothing to all these scenes, they just started flooding in. I love dreams

+ crazy racquetball: an angry mob invades my court, they want to take it from me, I stand up to them and they back off

+ trying to find my way back to my court, it's moved into a ridiculous area with about 6 "lanes" each one about 1 yard wide is supposed to be a "court" with people playing a game there, I'm teaching my mother to play she hits the ball the wrong way, as I'm setting up to show her the right way (you have to bounce it on the ground first) I realize the floor is grooved so the ball bounces strangely, a black guy borrows my racquet and hits my ball way the heck away across the street, which really pisses me off, I should make him go get it.

+ some guy is letting a live fish go into a lake, it's a large strange looking fish, it was being cooked previously in hot water, I think it may not survive, maybe the cool lake water will revive it, and I think it's probably against the rules to let such a strange fish go into the lake

+ I'm swimming through the murky water and regret letting that weird fish go, I imagine all sorts of weird slimy fish will be brushing by me

+ setting up a barbecue in old boy scout friend's RB's yard, I'm advising on placement, no not next to the house, put it out here, but rain might get on it so we should get one of those portable tent/cover things, a kid is poking his fingers into the electrical socket by the BBQ, I see sparks, and I think he's going to get blown across the yard by a big shock

+ I don't want to be the boy scout leader, they choose an adult instead, he comes and pushes his way into my place at the table which is laden with lobsters and other food items and he leans way over the table and really tucks in, I see a bucket of funny looking candy canes across the table I choose one which is chewy and delicious

+ I'm cooking porridge for the boy scouts (notice a theme?), I test it with a ladle which is dirty, it had ketchup on it, I see the ketchup get into the porridge and start to spread through, starting to turn a bunch of it red/pink, I try to get it out with a clean spoon, I pick up a spoon of the thickest ketchup/porridge and blow on it and want to eat it, I think they'll all complain about ketchup-flavored porridge, it turns into small shells of pasta and there's barely enough in there for one or two servings.

+ approaching McDonald's in a car, I'm in a hurry to get in ahead of the crowds, many cars are pulling up, I notice the power is out inside the restaurant, the power is out everywhere all around in stores but the street lights are all working, I think why not tap into the street light circuits, the manager inside has the same idea, and they start handing out orders, there are hundreds of orders backed up and people waiting, I think this will take forever.

+ I'm thinking about playing the saxophone, the reed for my instrument has been chewed/bitten down to where it's not playable, I drop a fresh reed into a shot glass of water to get it soaked in order to play

+ a guy I don't like is playing piano, I admit he's playing well, I think it would be good to play some lounge jazz, he's playing nice improvisations, there is music with a lot of notes on it, but if you know chords well you can just play arpeggios.

A lot of bugs, and bees coming out of my nose. Goddammit I hate dreaming about bugs.

The aisles at my workplace were replaced by canals and I was helping the merchandise flow team as they struggled to load merchandise into gondolas.

Ah crap went to bed too late.

Some interesting dreams only vague fragments remain, didn't record at the actual wakings so not much remains:

+ in my childhood home with my wife

+ lots of activity in a large complex outdoor area with lots of people, I think the idea is we're trying to determine the ideal conditions for lucid dreaming.

I'm in a movie theatre with my mum and a couple of muggers crouch behind us and threaten us with guns but, instead of complying, my mother jumps off her seat and runs away so I decide to follow her but end up running far and alone into the shopping centre.

• Someone emptied the knickknacks out of a curio cabinet in the family room and then filled it to the brim with boxes of shredded wheat cereal.

• Lupita Nyong'o was staying with me as a house guest and missed her outgoing flight.

• I was enjoying a relaxing soak in some hot springs until some guy tried to flirt with me, and then the dream morphed into a group of cops discussing a rape case.

And oddly enough, heavy rain causes flash flooding all around my workplace last night. There was no flooding inside but I've got to wonder if my subconscious was warning me about something.

I wanted a shirt that was too big for me, so I told my mother to go to another shop but she didn't want. We started walking and I realized we had been walking for like 10 minutes in circles, and the place was not the same anymore, so I did a RC and went lucid. All went dark and I tried to stabilize and told my dream to create a scene. The scene formed, but lucidity was almost gone and I was surrounded by zombies.

Kind of strange night, lots of wakings (1.5hr, 3hr, 4hr, 6hr) but only the faintest of recall

+ long sequence about dreaming

+ work tour, climbing up over a large hill of utensils pointing upwards in racks like being inside a huge dishwasher, at the top someone says "oh so and so is going to work here?", cracking jokes about pigs or other animals, at the time it seemed clever/hilarious

+ chicken egg / straw / angry guy, the eggs naturally grow straw on the outside of them which can be harvested, a guy gets mad and says no he just wants the chicken, not the straw, and as he storms out of the door I think if he wants his chicken so much he should be careful not the break his egg

+ sitting on the ground, leaning back up right against some guy, I'm looking at the shelves inside the door of an open refrigerator, I say this twice to the guy behind me: "OK, remind me, I'm putting the silver spoon on top of the grapefruit", I put the spoon there, then I reach back and pat his arm in thanks.

+ group of people, wife, in a store, we're thinking of doing some bulk ordering, I say yeah it's OK to order some cigarettes "because we can always consider them on the menu."

Become lucid at the top of the hill while riding a massive roller coaster at night...better than x.

+ A vicious lion brutally attacks a statue as a method for that statue to physically take on many injuries and problems of lots of people around the world so they are free from them.

+ Parkour style fight club, I must jump from building to building in order to reach the group.

I was playing with a houseplant so sensitive that it would sprout a bud in seconds depending on the kind of light I set it in... so I was having fun moving it around, watching it bud, then bloom, then nearly wither, then spring back to life over and over again.

• I was visiting a city in China where there was a long river (or canal or a really large lake?) where the water was such a bright shade of blue that I thought it had been dyed.

• My friends wanted to have lunch at this "healthy" restaurant, except all the salads and smoothies were made with fried chicken.

theme of the night: cars/driving

+ in a car going up a steep hill following another car, saying to pull over so we can talk

+ leaning out the driver's window of a car to talk to someone, a drunk bum comes by, I wonder how I can shoo him off

+ lying on a bed in the middle of a very dark room, there are glass walls (dream sign) to my left and behind me, the left ones are covered with curtains, I look behind me to see if those ones have the curtains drawn of not, I think there is or was a small animal lying at my feet

+ talking with another guy about our dog pets, as they reach end of life, would you spend $100,000 on them?

+ driving up a short steep driveway/hill, see my best friend MR walking, I open my window, lean out and chat with him, he's throwing a party, not sure if I want to go

+ at a table in a restaurant, my friends are hanging around another table, I order, then I walk over to my friends and say yeah they're going to order, too

+ walking down a hill where my little mini sheep (yellow?) are in the fields, I'm sad at the idea I must slaughter them, maybe I should get someone else to do it, but no they're my sheep, I should

+ there's a weather station set up on a card table outside some building, someone asks me to read the instruments, there's a storm coming

+ (my record longest lucid dream yet: 10-15 mins minimum) Many different scenes, low lucidity, passenger in a car that drove/broke through a wall (the craziness of that got me lucid, did nose pinch after we drove through), engaged hyperdrive on the car to see where we'd end up, walked through a glass wall/door ("there is no door") to go outside where I was set upon by a hoard of orange glowing jack-o-lanterns, so I (yay, finally) pulled out a lightsaber from my belt and turned it on (it was kinda weak/transparent, I waved it around on an annoying little thing following me (felt kind of bad about that), then spend the rest of the time walking around to many different places, looking for girls, kissing girls, summoning girls (first time just got two stuffed animals on the counter ), none really satisfying, but always being polite and saying "thank you" every time I moved on....
