When I decide to peruse the DJ section I'll start by looking for certain names of people who I know write a good dream journal. As for making new discoveries, I'll start by looking for people I've spoken to or read on the board who seem to write well or have interesting things to say. Then I'll quickly scan their journal - if all the entries are only a brief sentence or two Ill pass right on by, or likewise if they're all massive walls of text.

Next thing I"ll check is comments. If I find a few comments I'll check them - this will often clue you in as to how good a DJ is.
