What was the thing you really wanted to do when you started Lucid dreaming?

      Have you done it yet?
Do you still wanna do it?
Have you moved onto something else?

Because before I had an LD I wanted to do so many things like fly and such.

One time I had an LD and I didn't know what to do an ended up standing in the dream. So I just woke up.

The first goal at hand is to learn to actually stabilize a lucid dream. The original goal of getting lucid was, and still is, to do everything I'd like to do IRL but can't. Living in a perfect world is a simple example. Other simple ones are chilling out on a beach, flying and fighting while using elemental control and such.

I want to get to my subconscious. Maybe talk to him if he is a character; like a mirror where you see what yo want to see hidden in your subconscious. Anyways this goal is for when I master lucid dreaming.

For the next lucid dream I want to travel to a different planet.

My first conscious LD goal involved remote viewing with another dreamer. I got close, but gave up before succeeding.

My first lucid goal that I ever set and accomplished was meeting my favorite philosopher Nietzsche and talking to him. When I first set the goal, I imagined having an intense philosophical conversation with him in his Sils Maria house that maybe led to new insights. When I finally met him, it was pretty weird and not at all what I expected. He was wearing a track suit, living in a room behind a hidden door in a closet and just said weird, cryptic things. Despite this, it was certainly worth the effort to accomplish this, as I think it was great training on setting and accomplishing a goal and finding a specific DC in a dream. Also, the journey finding him was pretty interesting, too.

I think when setting a LD goal, its important to follow through even if you become disinterested in it, because its a great learning experience.

Currently, I would like to meet my Dream Guide while fully lucid. Also, flying to the moon or outer space seems fun.

      Flying...
I have had 90 LDs, but I have succeeded in flying without immediate loss of dream only twice (once in DILD, once in DEILD). I don't try it every time though. When I fly, I can float in the air only about 2 m high.
I PASSIONATELY daydream about flying in a lucid dream above city and nature at night. I would love to fly and see the calm nature and shining lamps and my house and everything while flying very high and breathing the fresh night air and hearing the silence. Later the sun would start to rise and I would see the sunrays while everything below would still be in the earth shadow. Then the sunrays would start to light the edges of houses. I would land in late morning and wake up in my bed totally excited. This is my dream which I would love to make true (or dream actually).
As you can see, I am still very far from something as amazing as this.
Further great goals: exploring 4-dimensional world, shared dreaming (if possible).
Summary: My goals are very high, I am still at the beginning.

Do something in an LD, rather than just realize I'm dreaming.

Started off wanting to do this ^^, basically everything in it, but then I sort of grew out of it and I'm more aware of the different things you can do, instead of just "OOH, ACTION AND FIGHTING AND ROBOTS AND SHOOTING AND STUFF".

Remote viewing is seeing while not being physically there. Many times it involves seeing a object hidden from physical view. In this case, the other dreamer (in WR) pulled a tarot card from a deck and a group of us attempted to tell him what the card was. I was able to tell he hid the card in a book, but didn't stick with the task long enough to see what the card actually was.

I wanted to have sex and time travel to the late 60's early 70's. I've moved on from sex to drugs and improving certain skills. Time Traveling is still on my list.
I was so much older then, I'm younger then that now.

I was simply amazed that I could decide what do in my dreams, didn't have anything specific in my mind. I was surprised that lucid dreaming isn't very popular, if I had only known this before.
      Lucid dreaming since September 2011!!!
Lucid goals: Jumping out of a car going at high speed and crashing into an oncoming car, completely destroying the car, leaving me unharmed. [ ],
      Visiting moon [x], Proper flying [x], Stabilizing an LD perfectly [x], Shoot lightning/lasers out of my fingers [x], Shapeshifting [ ], Fly a helicopter [ ], TOTY 2013 [ ], Change dreamscene [x].
      Lucids: 16 crappy, 15 good, 5 awesome.

The first thing I wanted to do after learning about it and hearing stories, was simply observe what was going on. I wanted to see just how real it felt in comparison to reality. Afterwards, I typically just do random things such as flying, parkour, and practicing different powers like TK or Phasing through solid objects.

The main thing I want to do now, is come to a full and complete realization that everything is generated by my mind, find a dream character and tell it what I know, and then try to have it show/tell me things that I may have forgotten, just to see if it can bring up lost memories and act as a bit of a "conduit" so to speak, a bridge between my conscious and subconscious.

I'm in a long-distance relationship, so on average, I see my partner for two months each year. It's usually the most difficult once we are in our native countries again. That's the only time when I have dreams with me fiancee in them. I decided that lucid dreaming would provide an interesting way for me to see and interact with my fiancee. Learning about lucid dreaming could distract me from the initial melancholy I was experiencing after our separation as well.

Now that I've learned more about lucid dreaming and experienced one, I'm interested in learning a lot about myself and experimenting in my own world. The exhilaration I felt during my first very brief LD is reason enough to have another LD though.

After a lot of thought, I'm not sure if regularly recreating my significant other is a healthy way of dealing with the distance. If I can have more lucid dreams more regularly, I would like to experiment with shared dreaming, if my fiancee is up for it.

There are so many things to do while lucid dreaming. The first thing I want to do is just drive, really fast. I want to go into the video game "Need for Speed: Most Wanted" and drive in the blue and silver BMW. Than, I want to have sex with multiple beautiful, big breasted woman.

When I first started lucid dreaming, I was constantly thinking of new things I wanted to try out, most of which are impossible to do in real life. I've made quite a large list, including things like controlling the elements, meeting fictional characters, trying out my own summoning technique, and jumping off a skyscraper. I haven't yet done any of this, as I didn't have a lot of control in most of my lucid dreams so far.

However, before doing any of this, there's one thing I want to do first. There are a few things going on in my life, which I can't seem to do on my own. Therefore, I want to use lucid dreaming to ask my subconscious mind for advice. This may sound silly, but I believe it will be helpful in one way or another. And even if it doesn't help, it will at least be a fun experience trying to converse with my subconscious mind.

Speaking of which, I also want to use lucid dreaming to get rid of some fears I have. For example, I have acrophobia (fear of heights), which I think will prevent me from doing things I want to do in the future, like travelling by aeroplane. Since I don't want something like fear to determine what I do in my life, I'll find a way to get rid of it, probably through lucid dreaming.

If you've actually read all of this, you deserve a cookie.

This isn't silly at all. I think there are many people who use LD's to do this. I heard of one technique where (while in a LD) you get a bowl. Turn the bowl upside down, then ask your subconscious a question out loud. When you turn over the bowl, there should be an answer inside.

This is a great idea. Many psychologists use visualizations and virtual reality to help treat phobias. A lucid would be immensely better than a strong visualization or virtual reality.

I haven't heard of any techniques to interact with your subconscious mind before, so thanks a lot for sharing this! I will definitely try it out next chance I get.

Thanks. I'm not entirely sure this will work though. In most of my dreams I don't feel any emotions at all. However, I don't know if this is true for lucid dreams as well. I hope it's not, as I doubt it will be possible to get rid of fear if I don't feel it to begin with.
