if I am in allegasia, I could learn magic, if I am in the galactic republic, you can use the force etc
book contains items that I put my dream control into, the items have to be from realms and the amount of power is however much I put into it at the beginning. If I get better at barriers or find a new type of barrier, then I must put it in there outside of the realm. Max 5 items. Depending on the rarity of the item and the type of item limits the powers of it and how to use it. If I put fire into a sword iI can add fire around the sword and get a better attack, but probably won't be doing a getsuga tenshou of fire. If I destroy the item, I can get all my powers back even in realm. (My fire powers are immense). A sword with low rarity could have fire, a sword that took me forever to get and has many magical properties might be able to have all my elemental powers or the power to not exist for a second. If I put too much powers though, it could break, so it is always a risk putting a big ability or another ability.
There are a bunch of other rules, especially about timelines. I have them all in a notebook. Planning on getting omnipotent and making the rules canon in my dreams. always working towards this goal.
Ohhh, yes. Organised omnipotence. That sounds like a fascinating system to develop. *_*
Your home base idea reminds me of something, though. I've had this idea to daydream about for a long time of having a super-lucid dream (with perfect vividness/stability/consciousness and everything) wherein I can just casually chat and have tea with my subconscious at my Happy Place. You know, the ideal location people always talk about imagining that creates, for you, the best and most comforting feeling of any location you can imagine. I don't actually know what my Happy Place is - I think, if it's so special and real for every given person, like a spirit animal or whatever, it's something you'd have to discover and not just something you can come up with off the top of your head - so I hope I could just ask my subconscious to show me what it is in the dream.
However, I've defaulted to picturing my Happy Place as a library, which may be a single room, complex or palace, where, in the case of a single room, the walls are all lined with bookcases filled with colourful books and, in the case of a larger complex, these bookcases are everywhere. The whole place is empty except for me (and my subconscious/any dream characters I'd want to invite) and as quiet as a library should be. Also fairly cool in temperature, although no air-conditioning units are visible. It's funny because I don't even read that much; but for me, the atmosphere of a library makes it one of the most attractive stock locations to hang out in in existence.
So I'll imagine just sitting at a table, surrounded by these bookcases, consuming biscuits and tea from fancy cups, with my subconscious, represented by a dream character who looks just like me. Like, he's a mirror image of me. And, at this time, without worrying about time constraints because I'll have presumably gotten really good at lucid dreaming by then, we'll be casually discussing the nature of my personality, my deepest fears and which Hogwarts house I'd be in. I just like that image. And that could also be somewhere I go routinely, like, between my lucid dreaming adventures.
I also really like the idea of going to Equestria and all varieties of fantastic battle realms to test my dream control abilities against formidable foes. For instance, the shōnen anime scenes you simulate in your dreams sometimes. Gosh, now that's living the dream.
