Sorry for interrogating you, but this is so fascinating to me...
When did you first realize that you had photographic memory. Was it always there or did you just "get it some day"?

Thanks for your answers

I've let myself die before in dreams, but usually I steer away from the dream or take another path because it scares me and saddens me.

What do you mean by 360 degree view?

And yes, I actually completed one of the tasks last night! I'm going to go submit that right after this. Why do I feel like I'm cheating? I feel bad.
By 360 degree view, I mean just that. You can see everywhere. On this forum, we often try to do stuff that we could never do in real life, even godly stuff.

There was a thread about 360 degrees and the idea most likely came from this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fw7Hhk3FySc

Anyway as for the "cheating" thing, the word natural means something.

If I swim all of my life and became a natural swimmer and race someone who wasn't, then would I be cheating? You just have a natural in this area. Don't worry about it, you just the right person for the job.
Noticed things in my lucid dreams: Not scare of death (kinda forgotten Freddy special power of killing in dreams, opps?) Huge ego which cause me to summon monsters, most DC are useless and don't even speak.

I always had it, but I didn't realize it was actually called something until I was maybe ten. It's also strengthened over time.

Do you have to read what's on the page first?
Depends how much text is on the page. And photographic memory doesn't work for just text. It also works for pictures and...a lot of things.

Whatever you answer, I am completly baffled! You are soooo special (in the most interesitng way!)

Call yourself a freak, that's fine but if that's your definition of a freak than I'm gonna have to call every great and interesting people I meet "freaks"... "Hey Einstein! You're such a freak".
Aww thank you so much! Really, the support I'm getting here is flattering me, so thank you! To all of you.

Wow, while i try to have a lucid dream longer than 5 seconds, you have every night
I'm sure if you practice you'll get there! And I don't have one every night...just many of them.

Of all the things to do in an LD... shopping?
I was in the mall at the time, so I thought, "Oh, what the hell! I need clothes!" So I did. LOL Come on, I'm a girl.

But I guess the grand stuff somewhat looses it's charm once you've done it a few times?
You know what? I never really got the urge to do something wild and crazy in lucid dreams, although I definitely should try. It never appealed to me, but as I've surfed this forum, it sounds really cool. I usually just do whatever I have the impulse to. Then again, I'm a very realistic person, so maybe...I don't know. But I definitely would like to try some outrageous things. One time I transported myself into a video game. LOL That was pretty cool. I was all pixelated.

Don't they say "The simplest things make you the happiest"?
That definitely goes for me. I like simple things. Maybe that's why I don't attempt insane things in dreams? LOL

I've never tried 360 degree view, but that sounds like a cool aim. I'm going to try.

Wow, thank you all of you for being so amazing. Your questions have gotten me so interested about this topic.

Ahah I'm glad you feel better!!

I was thinking about how is your dream recall. Do you dream very often? Because you said that when you dream you're always Lucid so I was curious about this :3

And wow looks like your mind is greatly developed...always having LDs, the synesthesia and the photographic memory...you shouldn't say your life suck, I mean yea you are different, in a good way, but you'll be like this for the rest of your life, so being in harmony with these is the least you can do! And I'm pretty sure these special abilities could be the future Humans "normal" abilities!

And also do you know if your parents or anyone in your family has something to do with those gifts?

That is very interesting nicole. I had a friend who once told me a bit about his dream experience, and it was similarly interesting to me.

I cannot remember if he said that he was fully lucid or not, but I am pretty sure that he did. He tended to watch himself from a third person point of view, kind of behind his character looking down or something. Also, he appeared to be what he thought was what he would probably look like when he was older.

damn, im so jealous! actually i have a friend who is also a natural lucid dreamer an just thought everyone dreamed lucidly too! haha me and my other friend were like wait? what? you can control your dreams? actually thats how i first learned of lucid dreaming. you could educate people anyways~ shall i refer to you as the "Great One" from now on? BTW have you ever tried breathing underwater or flying in your dreams? if you have could you let me know how well it worked? for example i wonder since your a natural at lucid dreaming are you a natural at lucid tech. too? such as being able to do anything you wish with no difficulty? this might be a stupid question but i still cant help but ask actually i have another question> do you ever lose lucidity at ALL in any of your dreams? like even for a split second? or are you constantly aware your dreaming?

Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.

Thank you! And it depends. I've noticed that in better sleeps, and when I wake up fully refreshed, I can recall more. Lately, I've not been getting enough sleep (final exams are torturing me), so my dreams, although they've been lucid, have been harder to recall. But that's just me.

And wow looks like your mind is greatly developed...always having LDs, the synesthesia and the photographic memory...you shouldn't say your life suck, I mean yea you are different, in a good way, but you'll be like this for the rest of your life, so being in harmony with these is the least you can do! Thanks again! I'm starting to see the bright side of these things.
I know my grandmother has synesthesia, but I'm not sure where controlling dreams is from.

I cannot remember if he said that he was fully lucid or not, but I am pretty sure that he did. He tended to watch himself from a third person point of view, kind of behind his character looking down or something. Also, he appeared to be what he thought was what he would probably look like when he was older.
I've done that before! Not in all of my lucid dreams, but I've done that many times. Does anyone comment and make observations in their lucid dreams? I'm a very observant person, so perhaps that's why I always do, but I'm just wondering. I'm always making little additional comments to myself in them about things.

Synesthesia?

Nice.

How is your synesthesia? Taste sight? Touch + Emotions?

I have so many, I can hardly keep track. Some of them aren't for everything, some come and go....

I've done both actually! Not many times, but I definitely have. I'm in rush right now, but I can tell more later!

And I've definitely lost lucidity before. Sometimes it causes me to wake up, sometimes not.

No, it is. I'm not saying it like that. I mean that the ones that I have weaker, I don't have for everything. For example: I don't have very strong taste -> sight. I only get that for some things. That's what I meant. Trust me, I DEFINITELY have synesthesia, 100%, without a doubt.

Welcome to DV! Believe me, your not a freak, haha. Seriously. Lucid Dreaming is completely normal; in fact, many people's abilities in Lucid Dreaming vary. For example, my girlfriend typically becomes conscious in her dreams very frequently....more so than the "average" person (like me!), so your not too far from her in that aspect. Don't worry about a thing.

If the constant lucidity in dreams still bothers you, perhaps you can learn to embrace them; try dream meditation/yoga and things of that nature. It's always fun to explore your subconscious!

Haha, this is why I'm trying to lucid dream. The novel I'm writing is actually about a "dream world" within human subconscious, and it's going to require several very vivid and strange worlds. XD So I'm aiming for using my own dreaming as inspiration. That is, if I can conquer lucid dreaming.

You must be a really good writter since each of the letter your write has its own color and feeling... You could write a book for synesthetics like you that could understand the story and understand the feelings and colors that you mean through letters. YOu could write stuff that normal people wouldn't understand...

Keep in mind though, not all people with synesthesia feel or see colors the same way. So it would come off differently to everyone. <.>

Oh right... I thought it was the same color for all the letters though. i watched a video and I'm not quite sure if I understood right, but what I understood is that the shape and meaning has an effect to the brain or something and I thought that it said that it was the same for all of them... Well maybe not then.

Ooh that sounds really cool! I'm sure with practice, you'll get it. And I'm def going to buy that book!

Well, actually, writing is my number one passion, LOL so good guess. Yes, the colors help a lot. Maybe I could write a book for synesthetics! I'd actually planned one out where the main character was a synesthete, but I haven't written it yet. I'd love to write about "bizarre" things like that.

Keep in mind though, not all people with synesthesia feel or see colors the same way. So it would come off differently to everyone. <.>
Yes, that is true, but there are some feelings that are synesthetes feel the same way. It's extremely hard to describe. I wrote a short story about a girl with synesthesia, and it was almost frustrating to get my ideas across to someone who didn't know synesthesia.

Oh right... No, every person has their own colors and etc. It can get confusing, I know. LOL

/jealous can we trade brains? seriously? i would be happy for you to have sub conscious dreams with the exchange of me being lucid for the rest of my life.

It's not a bad thing, really! just find out what you can actually do in lucid dreams and then try it out you wont even need a dream journal!

Greetings and welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy it here.

Lucid dreams are a wonderful opportunity to explore, experiment, and find inspiration. But unfortunately it is very difficult for most people to achieve, which is why we are all so jealous of your ability. I have been practicing lucid dreaming for the past two years and only recently able to have them fairly regularly. My control is still not as good as I would like, however.

I do this all the time in my lucid dreams. I talk to myself a lot and say things like "This happens a lot in my dreams. I wonder why." Or I just comment about all the details and how beautiful a nature scene looks.
