Ugh... I might have to spend some time in my hubby's basement this evening. We're under a tornado warning (or is it watch?) According to Intellicast, the storm system is heading directly toward us.

I've ridden out hurricanes, so I'm not too worried. (And at this point my dad would say "Famous last words." )

I think these allergies are going to kill me. And this job.

A job that should have taken... 2 hours max, took 6 hours yesterday. The job was simple enough, run cable through 3 walls. What no one told us, was that one of those walls was 8 inches of goddamned concrete. So that was fun, never in a million years did I think my job would involve drilling through concrete. The shitty part was that it was a repair shop for a bunch of combines (or harvesters, depending on where you are ) And I am seriously allergic to grain. SOoooooo 6 hours in a room full of grain dust, is sorta killing me. The worst part is I had to go back this morning. But whatever. The job is done.

Bah! The storm was a total let down. We're still under Tornado watch, but we're barely even getting rain. It thundered for about 5 minutes. It's blowing through quickly and without incident.
I hope other areas weren't hard hit.

Hi! I was across the intersection from you, and it's no tiny intersection, and your fucking bright bicycle light is blinding me. Look, I'm all for bicycle safety, but your light is not only aimed too high (especially since you were on a downward slope) but is also brighter than the headlights of the car next to you by a factor of fifty.

Look, do me a favor...toss that shitty light on the side of the road and I will aim my vehicle for it instead of you. I can't see anything but bright spots now anyway, so if you drop it you have a decent shot of getting away from my rampage while I wait for my sight to return.

I'm ok. We used to visit throughout many years past and she always had a huge flower garden around the house. In memory of her, we are going to fill the church with so many flowers that it will be nearly impossible to move around in there.

Dear stupid drunk bitch,

I know you are busy back there with your staggering and many smells, but there is no need to yell at me while I'm in the drive-thru. Sure, those roofies are finally kicking in and sound is really annoying, and god knows that Jack-In-The-Box is the seventh layer of hell, but there is no need to yell at me while I'm ordering. I just wanted some stuffed jalapenos and curly fries.

I'm also pretty sure that those people with the convertible two cars behind me didn't appreciate it when you climbed in to their car. I know, it looked comfy, but remember, this is Austin. You are no longer in Tahoka, or Manvel, or whatever backwater shithole you came from where climbing in to someone else's car is normal because everyone is drunk all the time and some of the men have three testicles.

What was I talking about again? Oh, yeah...stupid bitch. Just stagger off to the right, hang out with the hobos by the track, and don't mind that rumbling effect or that super loud horn. It just means that it's time to lay down on the tracks for a better view of the spinning sky. It will all be over soon.

Man, I love the heck out of flowers too.

I hope I have relatives like you and your family who outlive me and stuff a church with flowers in my memory. I just planted some blue hyacinth in my garden yesterday. Hyacinth has a ridiculously sweet smell.

SO. LET ME RANT A BIT.

This morning I woke up with a sore throat. It wasn't too bad. I go to school and start getting chills randomly in my body during lunch. Then I start to ache and get pins and needles everywhere in my body. THEN a headache and my throat gets worse. So I go to the nurse to check my temperature to see if I have the flu. I explain to her my symptoms and she takes my temp. 97.0.

THEN SHE ACCUSES ME of lying to her about the flu to get out of school XD. So I tell her to look in my throat and she is like "wow! Reddest throat I have ever seen.." Then she gives my Tylenol and I go back to class. By the end of the day I'm super soar and achy and feel horrible. So when I get home I sleep for like 5 hours. Tomorrow I have drivers Ed and I have to drive and get up tomorrow at 5:00 AM AND parallel park.
