Thread: Rant and Rave, Cry and Complain

So my dad has done nothing for my birthday. I don't want anything, but a card would be nice. Anything? I don't even think he told me happy birthday, but maybe he did.

But then... He came here in a brand new camaro! That he bought his wife.

I didn't expect a camaro, or a car, or a bike, or a keychain. But I do want a little effort. Am I just being too sensitive over this? Or do I have a reason to be a little upset?

I would be a little upset, myself. :/ Especially with the car thing....

I hate my neighbor's contractors.

They woke me up early after I went to bed late. I should be happy because my RC finally worked, and very well, but being this tired is overshadowing any joy I can get from that.

I sat outside with my daughter afer putting the turkey in his run. One of the guys was staring at me. He looks creepy. I'm too polite to tell him to take a picture.

I just don't want them cussing any more. My kiddo doesn't need to hear that, particularly in the backyard.

I am off to the store now. Much cooking today. If I feel better I may be back later but probably not until tomorrow. I really need sleep.

Why worry about that event in particular? A lot of people only buy presents or give cards out of guilt, because they feel like they have to. If he had gotten you something, it wouldn't change whatever issues are going on with him that make him not care enough about you, or whatever it is, which is likely the real reason behind your discontent. I'm sorry for whatever the problem is, and hope you both find some way to fix the relationship eventually.

If it's any consolation, my whole family forgot Mother's Day. And then I had to work 10 hours at a bakery today, waiting on these folks, watching people buy their mothers flowers and cards and cakes. Not trying to 1 up you, I can just sympathize.

You have completely out done me. Haha just kidding. I'm sorry your family forgot mothers day. I wish I did more for my mom today. I took her out for lunch and bought her a set of lawn chairs she has wanted for the back yard. I wish I would have painted her something, or did something creative.

I completely agree. It's not a major problem, we don't see a lot of each other, I just expected a little effort like a phone call. I don't think he doesn't care about me, I just think it was really low on his priority list. Thanks

I still didn't study... even while i said i'll start it on friday... the only thing that makes me less nervous is that i still have around 2 weeks left or so... but still... meh.. i'm so lazy... it takes a lot of effort for me to start anything o.o

I just got ticked off by my mother for always staying up late, staying awake for the whole night, having dark eye circles, being jobless and such. Then one moment she told me to go overseas with my aunty's family and grandma because she's worried I will be too lazy to even eat if my grandma isn't around to cook. Then the next moment she wants me to get a job. So what you want me to do?

About what you did for your mum, I think it's pretty good. At least you made the effort to do something for her. I guess that's what matters most.

So I got myself Pokemon White yesterday and I was up the whole night playing it like some addicted freak. I just can't stop moving on to the next town. After getting it for one day, I clocked in 15 hours of gameplay time and I was even out for the whole day with my friend. We went to a Pikachu event that Aly told me. Followed by watching The Avengers. It was sadly disappointing and not as good as Captain America: The First Avenger.

I'm tired and my fingers hurt for smashing my NDS buttons too much.

What I don't really like about the game is it's spoon-feeding us information when we can actually find out on our own. It's trying too hard to explain things. Too much story related events going on and appearing at every new town means I need to complete a task. How tiring. Tsk. But still I'm glued to it I wonder why...

Yeah, it's kind of an over-the-top Pokémon game. But it's addictive regardless.

Well you can get all of them once you beat the Elite 4.

My head's in such a mess since few hours ago.

So much to read on DV, my mother came into the room and ticked me off, my friend randomly asked me to go out tomorrow, trying to find jobs, have been meaning to write down my dream journal and last but not least Pokemon. Ah all the madness. Just because I was away from the laptop for 2 days.
