Going to see The Protomen tomorrow. So stoked.

Got a 96 on my lab final....now it's up to my regular final...I felt pretty good about the extra credit, but who knows. The fate of my future depends on one grade.

Oh my god, I passed my math class, this means I can take the higher Calculus courses!!! I just hope I did well on the other exams. >.<

Set off for Cali a few hours ago, trying to squeeze past Donner Pass before the storm hits tomorrow. This is going to be an interesting week, and hopefully my last zombie-free week ever again.

Checked my grades online, made a C in History, which I thought was going to fail me, but apparently for quality points, that same extra point I thought I needed was a miscalculation on my part.

I passed the semester overall, and I can take FREAKING CALCULUS baby!!!!!

At least things are in the clear for me for now, so fucking happy right now...SO HAPPY.

Got an AB in P-chem. I completely failed my first oral exam, and got a solid A on everything else. Otherwise I would've gotten an A.

My grades, at least some of them, are surprisingly good!

FREAKING CODE LYOKO, XANA slaying hardcore warriors are back at it again! I can't wait until the English dub is out, or at least french subs are out (since it was primarily a French cartoon/anime).

My childhood senses are tingling so much. I know the prequel wasn't epic like DBZ, but the fact that a group of kids have to keep a military secret weapon pertaining to electronic disruption from potentially destroying them and the world while they have to go about balancing killing XANA's monsters, deactivating the tower to return the past, and still living the life of soon to be teenagers.

I hear a lot of skepticism about the cast, but you know, someone has to do some new changes. I honestly would prefer if the cartoon version was still implemented, because the cast and the voice acting (English) was ACTUALLY good for a lukewarm show like this.

Oh my god, those moments where the main characters almost died, but went to the past thanks to the supercomputer just in time....those were crazy moments, at least in the standards of not having super powers, crazy Pokemon to help you, or some other abnormal crap in an attempt to make things exciting.

These are just living breathing human beings without any kind of special abilities going into a digital program, doing their best to rid the world of evil, and they can't even spam the Super computer's ability to do a trip to the past because that only makes the enemy more intelligent and deadly.

AHHH mind orgasms all over the place.

I remember when doing past papers for revision for my maths 'O' level in England 1986. The hardest past papers were by the Joint Matriculation Board from the 1960's. It was pot luck which board set the exam papers. Each decade the exams got easier and easier. Just saying. And well done

Aced most of my finals, got 100% and 105% on two of them. Overall though, happy with my grades. Just one B in a hard class which is okay xD
It snowed last night/today from that recent winter storm. This morning it was like a blizzard because winds were up to around 50mph, and the roads were really slick because there was sleet and rain before it began snowing last night.
Oh well I love the snow so much, don't even care about driving in it <3 sdfghj just so happy because of it.
I've been lazy all day. Ordered Chinese food and watched Portlandia (which is probably the only type of humor i actually find funny).
Now I gotta wrap some presents ~

Got B's in both Combinatorics and Real Analysis. It's even better than passing! Expecting A's for both of my non-major classes, keeping my GPA above 3.75.

This has been a successful year. For my first Christmas as a legal drinker, I nabbed me a bottle of apple martini last night at the family party when we were playing White Elephant (basically this game where you steal gifts from people), and my mom got me a classy bottle of sparkling rosé wine for today. (Essentially, pink fucking champagne.)

This is going to make for some fun celebrations.

Yay! I got snow for Christmas! Just what I wanted!!! Actually, I happy that my fever broke last evening. Now I actually get to enjoy the day. I can finally breathe freely and I don't have a head/body ache.

Now, it's time to go find out who's been naughty.

I'm eating a pizza with cheeses I've never had it on it before, specifically manchego and pecorino (and provolone, but that's not new to me), and damn it is good.

You know, if there's one thing these past couple of days have taught me, it's that there are so many wonderful wines and cheeses out there that I've never experienced before. I wonder if it pays to become a connoisseur.

I'm 'alone' for the first time in almost a month. I normally keep to myself and place high value on my personal space, and would have thought I'd go crazy if I were around someone all the time. I used to think I'd never be able to sleep in the same bed as someone else because I'd need to move around and would get self-conscious, and that I especially wouldn't be able to if the person snored, since snoring irritates me to no end. But all of that evidently changes when I like the person enough. That social anxiety and the desire to be away just doesn't come. I genuinely enjoy being around him, even his snoring doesn't sound annoying to me like it would coming from anyone else. I've been sleeping more easily than I can remember having done before because it's just so damn comfortable. He just left about 2 minutes before I started typing this post for a ~3 hour job with my brother. I never noticed it before, but I suppose it does feel freeing in a way, exciting. I can do anything now. Not that I felt I couldn't do anything before. There's just something nice about being able to make decisions on my own, with only my desires in mind, as opposed to the "what should we do now?" "I don't know what do you want to do?" "how about we ______?" "Nah I don't really feel like doing that right now" "then what do you want to do?" "_______?" "okay [even though would rather not]" exchange. The likely problem is that it's constant. We sleep together, wake up together, do everything together until going to bed. Even while doing different things it's usually in the same room. Decisions are just made so much more easily on one's own and that part of it feels freeing. I haven't desired to be alone so far, and am surprised by how liberating it feels.

My dragonfly nymphs are so cool. The smallest one ate a baby fish today, but couldn't quite get the whole thing in its mouth at once. The larger one (a different species) seems uninterested in baby fish, but ate 10 daphnia just now.

I feel a sick pleasure from feeding higher intelligence to lower intelligence.

In my first semester of college I got my first 4.0 (all A's) report card in my life. It is nice knowing that college isn't necessarily hard, but I know that its just going to get harder. I suppose that's OK though because I didn't really do a lot of work anyway.

I took a 2 hour nap, and my blog suddenly gets another 1,321+ views. It usually takes maybe 3-4 days for that to happen, but just randomly, BOOM, search engine optimization bitches!

I finished 3 weeks worth of logic during an 8-hour shift yesterday, and 5 more weeks during an 8-hour shift today. Who knows what I'll accomplish by week's end. The last assignment is a 90+ step proof.

And why am I doing this?

To prepare myself for Symbolic Logic, with the same professor. Also wikiing theorems on the syllabus to get a taste for the logigasmic experience that is to come.

It can take me 8 hours to fully understand a single logic lecture. >:|

Well, I guess I can feel happy that my course is so dense that they're apparently stuffing 3 weeks' worth of content into each lecture. The lecturer is notoriously abstruse and detailed. Take a look at 'Notes on Logic and Set Theory' by Johnstone if you want a flavour.
