Thread: OG DV Users!

Hi Meg. Just seeing this. Good hearing from you. Life took some unfortunate turns. Working on getting myself back to a place (menatlly) where I can start making things happen again. I'm getting there... Hope you have been doing alright.

I'm still getting the occasional animal attacks... However, after the death of my friend early this year my mind set has been very different and I'm curious as how that will play out in my dreams as things progress, particularly with the dream animals. I had a really strange encounter with a herd of hippo like animals the other day.

I had a random urge to check this site out again, and my login info still worked! I used to post here very rarely back in the day, but it was when I was 13 years old, so it's all incredibly embarrassing. I remember the names Oneironaut, and OpheliaBlue I think? Do those ring any bells for anyone? It's wild to see that this site is still up and running. Does anyone know who started it, and who still maintains it? I'm glad it is still around, it just feels like a slice of the internet from such a different time.

I know that Alex was the last owner, I think? I think there was an owner before that, but, to be honest, I don't remember who it was. OpheliaBlue was here last year 2019-09-27. ran into some astral projection tiktoks and joined their discord and told them about a lucid dream tutorial I learned from on here and it got me missing this place. Finally found my login

I've been active on DV again this past year or so after 8 or 9 years away. Don't know if anyone recognizes me from the old days since I didn't post a ton back then.

I've been logging online since 2013, but I was originally on Mortal Mist under the name Relyt. Same profile picture though. I imagine I'm not the only one who changed teams hahaha.

It's so crazy to see all of these names I recognize from so long ago! How's it going, everyone? I decided to pop in since it's my 14th anniversary of joining DV. Haven't been here in AGES and I no longer go by this name (I'm Leo now), but figured I'd see how things are holding up. I joined here as a wee (rulebreaking) child of 13 years old. Hopefully I've passed the statute of limitations on that particular offense. It's great to see you all again!

You know you're a DV OG, if you can remember the dehumanizing (albeit brief) DV Playpen forum. I think MoS got rid of it. Due to COPPA laws, if staff found out you were underage while accessing the forum as a member, your forum access was heavily restricted. How restricted? Whenever you would try to access DV again, the ONLY forum you'd see would be the "DV Playpen". The explanation is in the title.

Hey Jeff! Long time no see!

I remember that all too well. Somehow I managed to avoid the playpen during that era. I was constantly so paranoid about getting caught, I did everything I could to seem older. At the time, I think the lowest age you could join was 15. Maybe 16. Then once I finally hit that age I was invited to join Mortal Mist, whose age requirement was even older! So I just never told anyone.
