Meanwhile, I will be re-reading the Harry Potter books and trying to get my hands on the films I haven't seen / have forgotten.

So, the internet at my house has changed dramatically since last time. Although I've succeeded in persuading my sister to use open source items such as Firefox and GIMP, Dad's computer skills are as backward as ever. We've got multiple security programs killing each other, here. For every link I hover over, it checks its "security," ironically (probably purposely) labelling advertisements as "secure," forum threads as "low risk," and XKCD as "high risk." Chat won't load, because fffff.

Ah, and my laptop is having trouble overcoming his buttfuck firewall settings (on top of an abnormally slow connection). I can access threads, but can't post. So I'll be gone from chat until however long it takes for my brother to deliver me from this place (next week, if he has any sibling sympathy in him at all).
