Haha. I was actually just about to post "I'm back". But to be honest, I never really left because of the whole hacking event, which took place literally a day after I stopped checking my DV account.

Puffin is like one who has left her lover over an argument, but just as she's about to turn away she sees him fall. He's hanging from the edge of a cliff and she realises how much she cares about him and saves his life. Then she stays for good because she realises she loves him too much to really leave.

I'm going to be going on a ski trip this weekend until late sunday so I won't be on at all after tonight. Hopefully you guys can handle these russian idiots. I want to see DV back to normal when I return! (I'm not leaving until tomorrow morning though )

I'll still be around to keep up correspondence with anyone who PMs me, and I'll probably continue making threads every once in a while when I want to articulate an idea against this specific audience. But I can't use DV to waste time any more, so I'm abstaining from that aspect while I work on completing my projects and improving my life. Once I finish my book I'll consider myself free to troll the interweb again for a period of time but hopefully by then I'll have integrated a set of new productive habits so even then it won't be the same as before.

I gotta say.... I've been thinking the same thing. I'm not gonna leave though, but I will be participating a lot less. I waste too much time on here. And I'm not even using it to talk about dreams anymore for the most part. I need to get my life in order first, then I can waste time on the internet to chill out.

I'll be leaving for a while as well. Partly for similar reasons to Omnis's. I'm in danger of failing some classes and spend way too much time on here. I could limit my time but I've tried that. I come on for a few minutes and before I know it hours have been wasted. I also check DV in the middle of doing homework, every 5 minutes or so, and that severely limits my progress. It's gotten so bad that I've been going to coffee shops to work just so that I won't be able to get onto DV. It's just a lot easier to leave completely. There are other reasons as well, people I need to be away from. I typed a goodbye message yesterday while quite upset but decided to wait until I had a clear head. I do now, and still feel the need to leave.

In the meantime, if anyone wants to contact me for whatever reason, I receive PMs in my e-mail, so if you PM me your e-mail address I'll reply through e-mail. Goodbye people of DV, I will miss many of you.

Also, I agree with Pensive.... There are like maybe half the people I like gone. On the flip side, most of them are on IRC, so I don't really have to hunt for them .

This country's legal process takes longer than you think.

I will most likely not go to prison though. In fact it appears as though I'll have a pretty juicy lawsuit to pursue. We'll have to see though, it'll still be well over a month before my preliminary hearing. I have no intention of pleading guilty though, so there will be several prelims interspersed over the next several months before they finally drop the case or let it go to jury trial. Most likely what will happen is they'll try to make an agreement to scare me into pleading guilty to a lesser charge or at least agreeing not to sue. But what they did is so outrageous that I feel obligated to make an example of them, and this case can change the police tactics in this city so they'll stop this malicious entrapment. I simply cannot reject that opportunity. I have to take a stand for justice.
