As the thread says, absolutely nothing will happen in 2012. No end of the world, no "spiritual rising", nothing like that. People who believe in something happening are vitun idiootteja who really have a wrong image of the world, and no capability of rational thinking. Well, maybe that´s a little over-exaggerated I´ll be laughing my ass off when I´ll link this thread around in 2013. I am 110% sure that "the year" has changed forward by then, and all the 2012 believers will be like "ghost, 2012 was wrong, <install reason here>, and the real year will be <insert random year here>." It would really be funnier to link this around in 2013 if some 2012 believers would fight against me in this thread, so go ahead.

One good example, if you were actually logical, you would refute the "end of the world" thingy by saying that, opposed to the hype many people put in the mayan prophecy, they only say a "big thing" will happen, and since they weren't a world-wide religion anyway, it would only affect something very small, but of course, you are incapable of doing so much.

"Big thing will happen" is so vague as to cross the line into meaninglessness. There are an unlimited number of potential things that could happen that you could then say "See! It happened just as prophesized!" of course totally after the fact and without having made any real prediction. You might as well predict we're going to have "weather of some type next year." What evidence do you have to say that the world will continue in 2012? How can you be so blind to the facts? There is such a thing as a stupid question and this is one of them. No special circumstance is required for the world to continue existing. What happened in 2010 that allowed us to keep existing in 2011? Nothing "happens" to keep us existing, but rather nothing happened to stop us from existing. There are all kinds of stupid ancient prophecies for all kinds of stupid crap. The reason why I don't totally believe all the 2012 conspiracies is because the Mayan calendar was based on their religion. Religion is a hypothesis that cannot be proven, yet it spreads like wildfire in the minds of most of people.
