Are you a professional artist or a hobbyist? That picture is beautiful. I'd love to have some 1920x1080 dreamscapes by you for some wall papers

I'm far from a professional artist, just freelance here and there. I've been wanting to paint another dreamscape since August but I've never got around to it, so if I actually do that I'll be sure to do it in 1920x1080.

I've always wanted to use lucid dreaming as inspiration. I'm not much of an artist, but I love art and science fiction. I've dreamt about visiting towering sci-fi-ish cities, but I've always wanted to explore them lucidly just for the sheer awesomeness of it.

it's awesome that you can portray your dreams in a medium like that.

Inspiration was one of the things I wanted when I started lucid dreaming and it's been better than I initially anticipated.

And yes, it's great to show people what my dream scenes are like. Just wish I was faster at outputting paintings! Takes me hours.

Man, i stumbled on a picture from google i searched as, "couples kissing on a chair" and i end up with this. It's actually scaring me the f*** out and pieces are coming together about my dream guy and my past life making a chain reaction, dream after dream. O_o.....

Usually I just do little sketches for things I see, or the lay out of a room if I can't describe it well. I did this right after I had the dream and kept the drawing.
All through my childhood I had recurring nightmares about a mansion where a witch lived. In this one she had abducted a friend of mine and I went to get him back. This thing was guarding the stairway. Her breath smelled terrible. She was dark green, with yellow eyes and teeth, the cloak was black and tattered. She flew down from above and pinned me to the wall with this lantern on a hooked pole.

This is from a dream a few months back, I was the only one in a group of people eating ice cream that had the ice cream that was trying to lick me back, I kept trying and trying but it's tongue was crafty.

I never want to go blind. *Touch wood* Seriously though, I don't think I will ever take sight for granted again.

I couldn't quite get it to look how it did in my vision, and by the way it's the firework part. So to compare, this is how it would've looked if my vision was normal:

I go to the sink and look in the mirror. I notice the medicine cabinet is all wrong. It has a sliding glass door rather than a hinged one. I look really creepy and distorted. My body is all jittery and wavy like I am underwater. I focus on my face. My eyes look bloodshot. My goatee is gone and I look like I am 16 again. I gasp and let out a laugh. When I do that there is this strange zooming focus effect in the mirror with the background behind me. I am taken aback. I focus again on my face. I am making crazy faces at myself. I am still wavy and jittery. My reflection gives me a half smirk. It looks like someone is photo editing my mouth in real time with a smudge tool. I realize I am not smiling. Then I notice that I have a black, smoky aura around me. I gasp and again the strange zooming effect. It was almost like reality bent and flexed around me. I focus on my face once more and it looks sort of normal. I feel really creeped out and decide to move on.

So yeah, i dreamed about me being a trooper and shooting some monsters with tentacles, there were mech and all kinds of stuff, then it became weird. I drew some moments from it. (This is not how i draw, i just did something quickly just so you could see how it looked

The other night I had some really vivid hypnagogia. It stuck around for awhile so I tried to memorize it encase I ever got the motivation to try and draw it... I had some inspiration hit me tonight so here it is... except even more blurry if you can imagine it...
