Whenever I daydream during the day. Around 5-25 times. Depends if I am planning to get lucid that night or the next. |

Five or six times a day, following a brief session of heavy awareness. This usually happens whenever I remember to do so, or am really tired. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

When I started out I thought about reality checks in the morning and everytime the thought of reality checking popt up in my mind during they day I used that to reality check. |
When I was starting, I did 5-10 RC's a day. Usually when I caught myself zoning out and daydreaming. |
I can't wait until I don't have to do anything and still have lucid dreams. Sure, you might call it lazy or whatever, but you will only get to that point by having earned it through extensive R.C.ing and WBTB'ing and that. |

......
Awesome! |

I've been LD'ing for over thirty years, and have had thousands of LD's. Getting lucid is relatively easy these days, but you know what? I still do many RC's every day -- sometimes a few times an hour. Want to hear something even more ironic? I never do RC's in my dreams. |
I try to remember to do a reality check once an hour. |
In the conscious world? Never. The only RC's I do these days are in dreams. Then the fun begins. |
Thanks for the feedback, guys. Follow up question, what's your favorite RC and why? Mine are hands because they always work for me. I remember once having thirteen fingers on one hand. Another time each finger split off into two more at the tips. Freaking awesome. Second favorite would be the nose since I can do it safely while driving. |

I like to look at my hands, but my favourite is the nose plug reality check, because that never fails me |
I'm not really advanced but, |
Please feel free to check out my DEILD guide: http://bit.ly/2DOqiyT
Try to make it once that lasts all day long, but failing right now and doing around 5-7 that are one-2hours long each. |
Usually when I wake up, maybe when I go to sleep. |
I don't RC a lot. I focus more on awareness than anything else - seems to provide better results. |
My favourite is definitely the nose-plug, hands down. If I try to count my fingers in a lucid, sometimes my mind has some sort of "hiccup" where I'm not sure if I counted the fingers properly, so I end up having to count them again. |

I havn't been lucid dreaming much lately, but when i used to be good i did it somewhere between 40-60 times a day. I nod off alot and it really helped out. I was getting 4-5 a week. |

Peter piper picked your pecker.... wait that's not right.
When I first started lucid dreaming I tried a lot of reality checking but that barely got me anywhere. I got lazy and stopped doing the RCs for a while and started having a bunch of lucid dreams out of nowhere. After that they just kept coming and I never reality check, not even in my dreams. I lucid dream almost every day now. Nowadays I'm experimenting on what kind of lucid dream I want, I picked WILDs instead of WBTB or DILD. So a lot of times now when im falling asleep I realize it out of nowhere. I barely have to do anything. |

When bored at work I RC probably once an hour or so, more often when I'm browsing these forums as well. |
Maybe 2 or 3 times on a good day. I don't do much rcs in dreams anymore. I just instantly know I am dreaming. |
