I want to be able to have a lucid dream whenever i wish, I had my first Lucid Dream a little less than a year ago but I have been having extremely long vivid dreams and have great dream recall for quite some time. Since my first lucid dream I have had maybe 3 or 4 others with my most recent one 2 weeks ago. I love lucid dreaming so much and my last lucid dream was so amazing that I want to be able to have these at will! Please help and give any advice you have on attaining this. What would be the best method to do this with? I'm thinking WILD even though I've never really attempted one if thats what it will take than I will definetly start. Any help is appreciated! Thanks |

WILD, to some people, is a hard method. Having to relax your body, clear your mind, and basically manually make yourself fall asleep. It's complicated, I haven't even been able to do it yet. Cnsider yourself lucky for having the amount of lucid dreams you do, I have only had 3, which lasted only seconds before I woke up. Just keep practicing, and from what I know, the more you pay attention to details and surroundings, while questioning if you're awake, when you're awake, the more likely it is to carry over into your dreams. Hope this helps. Happy dreaming friend. |

I'm pretty sure that it IS infact possible to Lucid Dream at will, I've read about people who can lucid dream everytime they go to sleep. I guess this isn't the best place to ask about this since none of you even knew this was possible... |

While there are the masters that Can do it at will, unless you have probably 30-45 years of experience, chances are you won't be able to do it at will. They have done it for so long, that it's second nature to their brain. It's like breathing, or blinking your eyes. Yes, it is possible for it to be done at will, and if you see something online saying "I will tell you how to lucid dream at will." Chances are, it's some person trying to sell a book of their experiences and their views on Lucid Dreaming, telling you how they go about Lucid Dreaming. The thing is, why spend money on a book when you get the Same exact thing on this site, from Really great people. Along with any other advice, and being able to ask them questions when you don't understand something. |

It's because they do it at will. They will it. They know it will happen so it happens. |

Ask Hukif and Silverbullet. They went from lucid dreaming nobody's to having the ability to have multiple lucid dreams every night. |

My best advice is to find a technique that works for you and stick with it. If there was a way ( i.e. a drug) to have lucid dreams at will , people in the real world would never get things done. They would be busy sleeping, or trying to sleep... all day, every day. Lucid dreams are that good. |

Just practice awareness for a couple years and you'll have them every night |

You can have them whenever you want if you believe you can. |

I do not believe there is a silver bullet. Everyone is different. I think it is just a matter of brain training, which takes time. The more you practice and the more diligent you apply the techniques will yield results, but LEARN what works for you individually. I am into my 9th month and am seeing improvement. 6 lds in 4 nights... not sure if I can sustain this but am certainly going to try. |
