Lol! Just follow the weird people. They're all going somewhere. Bring a note pad and draw some scribble monster, or have one printed on your shirt. That will let the leaders know you have no brain.

I agree. The back-story in dreams can be fascinating. You can create a dream that requires you to be ignorant of back-story that you created.

Was the girl's mind Tiffany twisted? I hope she didn't steal your merc
Seriously though, I find it incredible how some dreams develop these really complex back-stories and traditions.

You know what's funny? My friend MJ said, "Don't forget about Saturday." Well, this Saturday I'm going to take my riding mower up to Kroger to show it to someone who may want to buy it. I never know what day it is during the summer, and I realized only this morning that today is Friday, so it's as though he was reminding me that I have an important appointment Saturday morning.

I also wake up at the crack of noon, so I can't miss being there with my mower at 10:00 am.

OK. I'm going to tag "school" even if it seems unimportant. I think it will likely have some importance in any dream.

Fascinating. These are like detailed versions of the dreams I mostly can't recall.

I end up touching my vagina, (I'm a hetero guy in waking life) but I didn't feel it. It was as though it was someone elses, but now there was nobody there.
-LOL! Seriously though, when it comes to sex in dreams, point of view is problematic. The view during sex ranges from hot, blurry, to none. Dreams tend to render it oddly.

I added the tag: school. Because come to think of it, old school dreams are common. And by necessity, relics of a different era.

So you don't need that tagged?

While the elementary school moment doesn't scream for a tag. It may not be meaningless. Starting new dreams from old recurring locations may be fairly common.

Yea, I can make contact. Lately I've been waking up right at the point.

I kissed her flat stomach and went to fuck her. As I was trying to put it in, I woke up.
Hey, at least you made contact unlike me that gets cock-blocked too soon.

      MrDreamsX,

Do you have a list of ideas that you track I have a really bad memory (Forget what you know about my dream recall.) I have to work really hard to monitor these hypotheses you put forth, but I think they are important to track, and easily enough measured.

I have my own goals, but my personal interests are in inducing lucidity via Third-Party-Planned Game Induced Lucid Dreaming, and dreams infiltrated by speech--the latter typically accomplished by custom MP3.

I'm also working on another project which takes much of my time and interest. It seems you or I could set up a spread sheet of ideas and predictions, to follow. It would be the only way I could follow all the ideas you have. Do you have some sort of list, or simply a good memory?

BTW, I have to share something I read from one of my favorite threads on DV: "DC's say the darndest things." Someone posted a link you may get a kick out of. Sleep Talkin' Man

Oh, and if you haven't checked it out already, do check out the DV thread I mentioned above.

I am being threatened by some criminal types. They are demanding all my money. I have a lot, but I tell them no, throw down a $20.00, kicked a couple of them and ran away.
Oh yeah this dream! I love this moment, great diversion. If you weren't dreaming about your cousins, I would be perplexed. As far as recurring dreams/locations/people... They must be the door to remembering old dreams and motifs not accessible during the waking configuration of the brain. --At least 5% of my dreams involve childhood friends and family who are not deceased.

      MrDreamsX,

I have dreamed of one of my cousins I'm sure. I don't know why I wouldn't tag that. I have a very good relationship with the cousin I dream of from time to time.

I'll keep in mind your request of old recurring homes and old friends.

This is so funny. I just searched for a "cousin" tag, and found a "lost" dream.
Lost all damn night ...just for interest sake.

Also.. I don't see a cousins tag. Do you not have any dreams about your cousins?

Well, because if you don't remember your dreams, you don't remember if you were lucid or not. But since your recall is so consistent, more reality checks should have a measurable effect on your LDs. I would love to see all the dreams that feature your childhood homes or old friends tagged or linked: "old reoccurring" or something like that..

      MrDreamsX,

I'll try to remember when my lost and found dreams occur. I certainly seem to have enough of them.

Funny you mention my dream count. I noticed just the other day that my count was about half of the days I've been registered, and I often remember multiple dreams in a night.

I don't really have any technique there except that sometimes I'll consciously identify key concepts when I wake up, then I go back to sleep. When I wake up for the morning, I try to remember the subject of all my dreams immediately.

Some of my dreams may not be that interesting, but I journal them if it effected me in my dream, and they usually gave me a feeling I want to remember if I dream at all. I think you told me I should journal everything for a year. I did, and now I only journal what is important to me...which is most, even if they aren't awesome dreams.

I rarely do reality checks. I recently had a dream that I should have. I suspected I was dreaming and had an FA. I need to pay more attention during the day.

Any reason you ask that last question? Do you correlate good recall with a better chance at doing an RC or becoming lucid?

We went in a room looking for something. I set my beer down, and when we left, I realized I had left my beer in the room. I went back to look for it and couldn't find it. I went to a back room and couldn't find it. I went back to a bathroom and looked around and finally found it.
As you know, I have a sneaking feeling these "lost and found" situations may dominate our dream lives. Especially in early REM cycles. But... seeing you are up to 173 dream entries, what recall techniques are you using bro? And how much reality testing are you doing?
