Dream No. 706 - Separated Sections

Dream 706 A - The Walk-Away Sora
The dream started with me walking around the under cover area of my old primary school. That’s when I happened to catch sight of Riku was distorted into some sort of demonic entity. Even though he looked completely different with the reddened skin, no hair, and completely different clothes, I somehow knew that this was Riku. Since I knew that this was Riku, I wasn’t afraid to go in and hug him. I thought though that because he was a demon, there would be a bad reaction bit it’s as if he paused.By change in his energy, I could tell I had ‘softened his heart’. In-fact so much so that he eventually hugged me back, with a tight but pleasant grip. After we had hugged for a while, the demonic Riku seemed to partially ascend into the air as he turned into a hologram, and Riku finally ‘popped out’ of the demon as a human; not as a hologram, but physically. It’s as if I had hugged his evil away and freed him from the demon.I was then by myself again and headed towards the area where the old Year 5/6 playground was. At the end of the path, I saw Sora approaching, bathed in this almost blinding but only orange-toned warm light. I knew I needed to talk to Sora for a dream task and so I called out “Sora!” to get his attention. He did not turn to notice me though and rather he kept walking. I was bewildered that he did not stop and so I continued, now with a tone of shock and confusion; “Sora?”. I called his name a few times, but it wasn’t enough and he just walked towards the undercover area, leaving the scene.I couldn’t get Sora back and I so I just decided to continue wandering around the school. When I ended up back in the undercover area, there was this girl there that was wearing my high school uniform but I don’t remember her being from my high school. I can’t remember what she said exactly but I can recall that the things she was saying were generally weird and creepy. I can’t remember anything else about this dream.

Dream 706 B - Will He Abandon Me
The dream started with me at my current house as I sat on one of the stools at the kitchen bench and was reflecting on something. I found myself asking, something like, “If Riku was to switch the fan on, would he just leave me in there?”. The main idea was that if I entered a situation I didn’t like; would Riku abandon me and just leave me there?”.The dream switched over to being at my old house. Indeed I was in the bathroom with the noisy fan going but I looked up and saw Riku (KH3 appearance) standing right in front of me. There was this energy radiating off him and a look on his face suggesting that he heard what I had said before and felt bad that I think he’d ignore me. He took no time and all to bend over and put his hands on my shoulders, towards my back, to keep me calm and relaxed. The dream then ended.

Dream No. 703 - Separated Sections

Dream 703 A - The Target Team
I don’t remember how this dream started. From where I do remember, I was walking around Target in The Glen Shopping Centre when I saw Taka wondering around the women’s clothing area in their uniform; I realised he was working there. Once he noticed me, he approached me and asked me if I needed help with anything; and not in a pushy way either, but there was a sense of kindness in his voice and like he was going to look after me.

I was originally going to tell him that I didn’t need any help but then I decided to tell him that I was looking for something to wear to my upcoming graduation. Taka looked at the black pinny (pinafore) that I was currently wearing, and he said that I had to apparently wear the Target uniform to my graduation. But then he paused, and said I could wear this instead, as he led me to a rack to pull out a spotted playsuit that I could wear under the pinny. He told me though that he currently couldn’t find a size large enough for me (he had a size 8 with him, whereas he knew I needed size 12 or 14 (AUS sizing)). He said that he was going to be busy, so to find someone called Doryanne, once I found the right size first, and that she’d help me.

As Taka walked off, I went in size for the playsuit in a larger size. As I was walking around, I knew for some reason, that Doryanne was going to be a young Asian lady. I had eventually found the right size but I could not find Doryanne anywhere. Near the lay-by area, a lady popped out from behind the counter and scared me by surprise, but it wasn’t Doryanne; it was a young lady but she was fairly large and had blonde hair. Also, this lady seemed cold and nowhere near as friendly as Taka was when she asked me what I wanted. However, that completely changed when I told her that I was previously with Taka and that he told me to look for Doryanne, but that I couldn’t find her anyway. All of a sudden this lady was the friendliest person in the world and came out of the counter booth to help me herself.

Later on in the dream, there were mentions of Taka’s sister, but it wasn’t Monty like in real life. And soon enough, I would be coming face-to-face with this person. It was seemingly at an unknown house but the kitchen looked a distorted version of the one in my old house. And as I said, Taka’s sister in-dream wasn’t Monty. Rather, it was some African-American lady who to me was some random, crazy loon, and the following is why. She began to sing but after a while it got annoying and so I asked her to stop. She did not stop but rather she kept getting louder and eventually obnoxious too, like she was doing it out of spite and had this big, nasty attitude at me.

Somehow, the dream itself removed me from the scene now and I seemed to be off to the side. Like Taka’s dream sister was still singing obnoxiously but I was isolated in a sub-scene but still in the same house. The dream said that I could choose two dream guides that were going to deal with her. I had no hesitation in choosing Riku and then after a slight pause of a few seconds, I said that I would also choose 18-Volt.

In almost no time at all, both men casually walked into the scene; Riku in his KH3 appearance and 18-Volt in his Warioware Gold appearance. I could already tell; it looked like Riku was going to do the talking and 18-Volt was just acting as moral support. Both boys went into the room where Taka’s dream sister was and it seemed like they were sitting on a cafe bench. Taka’s dream sister standing at the stove, facing the boys, while 18-Volt and Riku got in and sat against the wall. As 18-Volt stared at the lady to make sure she was taking it in, Riku started speaking, and mentioned something about being connected by hearts. Never once did Riku raise his voice, he seemed calm at all times and knew how to deal with the lady. I can’t remember anything else about this dream.

Dream 703 B - Sora In Annihilation Nation
I don’t remember how this dream started. From where I do remember, I seemed to be at Radiant Garden from Kingdom Hearts. The Fairy Godmother was there; and in-fact, the dream camera was enacting the dream as if we were playing as her! She ended up approaching the main courtyard and as she did so, she goes, “Just look at him”. This was in reference to Riku and it’s as if she was a mother telling us to look at how her child was playing.

The dream then went to Sora who was seemingly in the Annihilation Nation gauntlet area of Ratchet and Clank 3. The ground was entirely lava and there was this series of tall but skinny column-like platforms, arranged in a neat lattice as it were, evenly spaced apart. Not only was Sora going across these platforms, but there was also unknown dream characters doing the same things but off to the side.

Eventually, Sora got to the main arena where he was going to be involved in some sort of boss fight. On the floor was ascendable lava, in which there was a really tall tower shooting up, like a giant version of the earlier column platforms. There was an elephant on the tower which looked like Bing-Bong from Inside out and he was talking to Sora about what to expect in the boss fight. Sora was just hanging on for dear life and was about to fall off the tower and into the lava until someone saved him at the last minute. The mysterious dream character was a cross between Aku Aku and the mysterious purple mask advertised for Crash 4.

The dream then went back to Radiant Garden, to the Fairy Godmother’s perspective again. This time, she also had a health bar and was walking along a side strip of streets, meaning the area was distorted (because there are no tar roads in the actual game version of KH Radiant Garden). She turned her face to the dream camera as if to talk to me, and she said “I call him Naeir Waer”, which I know meant she calls Sora ‘Near Where’. The dream ended there.

Dream No. 700 - Separated Sections

Dream 700 A - Victim In The Lab
I don’t remember how this dream started. From what I remember, I seemed to be in a hospital but the actual lab I was in felt more like a school science lab in there. There was a chubby, middle-aged man in the room who was called Trevor. The dream didn’t really give a logical sequence for explanation, but Trevor was really scary, mean and nasty. He offered us some sort of meal but would let us leave the room. We were basically being held hostage. Later on the dream, I can’t recall how I got out but I managed to without Trevor knowing. However, I knew he would soon realise and be after me.

The dream went to a scene where I was on the creek-side walking track near my house. Riku ended up appearing on the path in-front of me, in his KH1 appearance. He was talking to me about the environment we were in and commented on the peacefulness of the ‘forest’ (there is no ‘forest’ in my IRL local area, but it was one in the dream). In-fact he himself felt so at peace that after a moment of quiet reflection, he opened his arms, prompting me to come over to him and when I got close enough to him, he gave me a fairly tight and lengthy hug.

Once he ended up releasing me, he then told me that he wanted to take me somewhere deeper into the forest; to ‘The Drinking Cup’ which was supposedly a relatively tiny, naturally formed body of water that we could drink out of. By the tone he was using to describe it, it felt like the equivalent to ‘Peace Rock’ from The Jungle Book.

The scene then changed to where we were actually at the area and Riku was flying me across it, holding me outwards so he could lower me for a drink while still securing me. We ran into a huge problem though as the area was completely flooded over. Riku actually struggled to get higher as my feet were dangling and we didn’t want to get them wet. Eventually though, Riku managed to gain altitude and get us out of the area.

The dream then went back to me in the hospital complex, and I was silly enough to go back into Trevor’s room. That being said, I was once again one of his victims and was never aloud out again. I can’t remember anything else about this dream.

Dream 700 B - Pyjamas At A Wedding
I don’t remember how this dream started. From where I do remember, I was at this lush, outdoor setting; like it was either on the outskirts of some park or the grounds of some church. Apparently this scene was a wedding event but I was in my pyjamas. In the distance, there was a photographer taking photos of the wedding couple as well as other people in the wedding party. At first, I thought there was no way I could get past or they’d catch me in the photo in my pyjamas. However, I needed to catch my mum before she left the premises, so I ran, ducked and weaved my way through all the photo shoots to get to her.

This next scene was playing as a sub-scene. I was supposedly on Twitter, and my grandma’s friend had posted a photo of herself with her granddaughter; but this baby wasn’t one I had ever known about in real life. Therefore, it looked to me like my grandmother’s friend was holding an ‘alien’ granddaughter. The baby girl also had big and black eyes; but not as big as depicted on IRL cartoon aliens; just very big eyes for a tiny human.

The next actually dream scene was one where I landed in hospital. Apparently I was treated unfairly by Edward (Ed) B and so if he did mistreat me, I’d end up in hospital for 4 weeks; this was the case. I sat up in my own bed to notice my one of my teddy OC’s become realistic in the dream as he was wheeled into my ward. Apparently Ed had also done something to him; any teddies he mistreated would be in hospital for 2 weeks.

And then Ed came into the ward himself, looking surprised but sorry to realise that his actions and landed me in hospital; as if he wasn’t previously aware. He said there wasn’t a need for me to spend the whole 4 weeks in hospital and just to wait until the next Saturday (PST) to be released; meaning the length of stay would only be one week. He specifically said to remain in hospital over the next Friday (PST) (today was ‘Friday’) so he could do something on his next weekly show without interfering. He mentioned nothing about the newly admitted teddy. The dream then ended.

Dream No. 699 - Separated Sections

Dream 699 A - In Order To Sit The Exam
I don’t remember much about this dream. To me, it only felt like a very short scene and that was it. In my voice, the dream was saying to me that in order to be able to sit the exam, Riku needed to sign some sort of form. A sub-scene then showed Riku (KH3 appearance) standing in the dining room of my old house while he was signing something, but the dream didn’t show what he was signing.

Dream 699 B - Kneading Pizza Dough
I don’t remember how this dream started. From where I can remember, I was in my garage and I was trying to kneed this pizza dough, that was sitting in a plastic box, into a specific shape. However, the pizza dough became extremely hard and so I had an extremely hard time kneading it. I heard that I should have started kneading it earlier when it was just freshly combined; apparently exposure to the surrounding air was making it hard.

I looked up and my grandma as well as some of her friends and other members of my family were sitting at the edges of the garage. They were encouraging me but it seemed ‘torturous’ in a way, like they were making cute faces at me as if I was a kid and I grimaced at this. I then still wondered why the pizza dough was so hard to knead. As I squashed it together, all these Kingdom Hearts figurines suddenly came flying out of it and landed in pieces on the window sill.

I went over to examine the figurines and make sure they weren’t broken in any way. The figurine at the front was Riku and he looked fine. I then saw other characters like Terra, Aqua and Kairi in the back ground. I then went over to Roxas, this set of figurines having ‘stick’ legs. Roxas’ current pose was a sitting one, but I could not get him to sit properly on the window sill. So I ended up detaching Roxas’ current legs and changed them over so that he could stand. He ended up successfully standing.

I then went back to the dough in the box and suddenly it was easier to knead, either that or I seemed to apply more force this time around. The box also seemed to fill up with a tomato-based pasta sauce. Somehow, the dough broke into small pieces and went amongst the sauce, and then I got in and ended up bathing in the mixture. I can’t remember anything else about this dream.

Dream 699 C - The Disney Stairs
I don’t remember how this dream started. From where I do remember, I was at a shopping centre that felt like a cross between Dandenong Plaza and The Glen, but was identified to be Dandenong Plaza. On Level 3, I came across AD and she just seemed to plainly ignore me as we passed each other. Further up the corridor, I discovered that there was this huge attraction in Target called ‘The Disney Stairs’, which I had to go and check out.

So I took the escalators down to level 1 where Target would supposedly be, but apparently I wasn’t there yet. I wondered where ‘The Disney Stairs’ was and soon, I saw a sign saying ‘To Disney Stairs’ with an arrow on it. I grew worry as I thought it was an elevator going down, but eventually, I see all these people going down a narrow, weirdly formed escalator. I wondered why it was formed the way it was and someone said to me that it was good practise for the actual ‘Disney Stairs’. The escalator was moving terribly fast and the steps were very narrow, so I had step on at the right time or I’d fall. I thought Target would be 1 basement level below, whereas we actually went down many ‘mysterious levels’ to eventually end up in Target.

We approached the ‘Disney Stairs’ scene which was actually a Christmas set-up which looked more miraculous than any one I had ever seen in real life; it was a corridor full of ‘Christmas’ leading to an unknown journey path. Mickey was at the front of it and seemed to be the curator for this event. There were twelve of us and so he told us that we’d be in three teams of four; blue, red and white.

Mickey then told people to start coming up but they all hesitated so I decided to go up first. As I approached Mickey, I realised Santa standing just inside the corridor, which was actually Riku dressed in a Santa suit! Mickey said to me, “And I see you have a special relationship with Santa”, which proved further that this was actually Riku. Whereas the rest of my teammates were going to get a plain white robe, I got this elegant cream coloured robe with dark teal patches on it and fine beading; as if it cost $500 to make or buy. Just as I was about to go over to Santa to start the adventure and potentially be greeted with a hug, I woke up.

Dream No. 698 - Separated Sections

Dream 698 A - A Boy With Big Problems
I don’t remember how this dream started. From where I do remember, I was in the hills, in one the supermarket, when I ran into a couple of girls currently attending my old high school, wearing their PE uniforms. However, it like the girls recognised me and were really happy to see me. One of the girls told me that it was ‘Wellness Wednesday for them’ and this is why there were at the shops. It was eventually that I saw some girls in the academic summer uniforms; but then what I saw next shocked me; a couple of boys in summer uniform. Since when was this a co-ed school?

There was one boy that really caught my attention though, and this was for the wrong reasons. Just by looking at him, I could tell that he had violent tendencies and therefore huge mental problems. I found out that his name was Nathan. It wasn’t very long though before he started acting up towards me and that he actually wanted me for his own ‘desires’ as it were. I tried to get away from him, but he was really forceful and would actually be really violent to me if I tried to leave; so I was basically trapped.

The dream no longer played in the supermarket, but Nathan seemed to be a consistent theme in all the scenes. However, to my relief though, my dream guides seemed to know what was going as Dreamy WB walked into the scene to try and get Nathan off me. She managed to provide a distraction and told me to led me to wait in the ‘staff room’ of the complex. For a while, I was just dawdling in there until someone came into the room and told me to get out. I did, thinking that Nathan was finally dealt with.

Though as soon as Dreamy WB had gone, Nathan came back and was threatening himself on me again. I needed to act fast and decided to call for a male dream guide to see if they would yield a better result. I decided to call for Riku and somehow managed to summon him without Nathan detecting me. What was even more satisfying is that Riku had walked into the scene (KH3 appearance) and Nathan didn’t even suspect that Riku was there for me.

Riku came and sat on the ground, prompting me to sit down in-front of him. However, I thought that in the current position, Nathan would be able to whisk me away and use me. So I asked Riku to bend his knees out slightly so I could go back in towards him a bit more. I ended up lying down with my head on Riku’s lap as he then looked up and started to speak to Nathan. Despite the severity of Nathan’s actions towards me and his obvious mental illness; Riku didn’t raise his voice to Nathan at all or even insinuate that he had a problem. It’s like Riku knew not to flare Nathan up or that’s when Nathan would become uncontrollable and bad things would happen.

Riku actually simply smiled at Nathan, connecting with him like a friend, and said to him, something like, “I think you should go and see Mickey. It’d be good for you”. And to my surprise, Nathan left the scene on his own and did not come back this time. I also knew what Riku was really doing. It was Mickey that was going to give Nathan a good roasting; Riku basically insinuated, in a disguised manner, to Nathan, that he had problems and needed counselling. I can’t remember anything else about this dream.

Dream 698 B - Dirty Bathers
I don’t remember much about this dream. From where I do remember, family friend couple EW and JW were at the beach and apparently they were recalling a phone call that they had gotten from my mum, asking them to wash my sandy bathers while they were at the beach. The wife JW had taken my cobalt coloured bikinis and held them over the water, waiting for the waves to wash over them ten times. Meanwhile, EW and their baby were standing on the sand, listening as JW counted the number of times the waves had washed over the bathers.

As soon as JW said ten, she stepped back from the ocean and went back to EW and XW. EW had pulled his phone in order to film proof for my mum that the bathers had been washed. However, as EW was filming and JW was now holding XW and my bathers, XW took a swipe at the bathers and they immediately fell on the sand, taking the family back to square 1. I can’t remember anything else about this dream.

Dream No. 697 - Separated Sections

Dream 697 A - Drive Or Stay Home
I don’t remember much about this dream. From where I do remember, my family were planning on going to a holiday to Apollo Bay. My parents were discussing arrangements at the time such as who was going to drive there. It was supposedly going to be a long drive, so I suggested that I drive a portion of the way. I said to asked my mum if I could drive down the portion of the major road that was going to be straight, but my dad wasn’t having any of it.

After I failed to get the message through to my dad, my mum tried explaining to him. He kept insisting though that I wasn’t allowed to drive and he said it in a mean and somewhat aggressive way. Though by now, I wanted my way and since my dad kept resisting, I snapped and said that I wasn’t going to go on the holiday with them at all and that I was going to stay home. The dream ended as I walked into the house to begin my home-stay and my parents and brother were getting ready to leave.

Dream 697 B - Kairi's Light
The dream started with me wondering around in my old house. A middle aged Asian lady approached me and brought my attention to some sort of video that Kairi had made to supposedly teach others about her light and its powers. As she suggested for me to watch it, I went over to the sitting room and sat on the couch as the lady set up the video and darkened the room. The rest of the dream was now a sub-scene, which was the actual video, the dream camera now actually immersing me in it rather than playing from the sitting room.

The scene showed Kairi in The Final World and both Sora and Riku were also there with her; all in their KH3 appearances. Also, as the entire scene played, Kairi’s theme was running in the background. Kairi was saying something, insinuating that she used to have different powers but that she chose her current light powers for a reason. She then went to the group. Although they were standing equally apart from each other, it’s like the dream gave the illusion of Sora being in the middle and Riku was off to the side.

And then the dream camera went to a close up of Sora, though I can’t exactly explain what he was doing persay, I think he ended up looking at me, studying me, but I’m not sure. But then the dream panned out again and that’s when Kairi was seen to close her eyes and then peacefully ascend somewhat, with when she was at the highest, she was glowing with all this light. When she descended again, she walked back over to the dream camera again to supposedly communicate with me. She did say more but I forgot what it was that she said. The dream ended after this.

This is the second time I have successfully completed a task for a 'dream project' that I have set. I thought since Riku is my current dream guide, and he's from Kingdom Hearts which is a world that seems to have laws of its own, I thought I'd do something to give back to him for helping me pass all my university subjects as well as all the other times he's helped me in-dream. I thought that since the last KH game, Sora has gone missing; so the dream project that I have set is for me to incubate dreams where I may get fictional leads on Sora. The dreams form the 'assignment' component, and then in waking life, I'm going to write an imaginary report on my dream findings which forms the 'exam' component.

For the assignment component, I set six compulsory tasks and one optional task to carry out in dream. The tasks are as follows:
Task 1 - Have Riku take me to Shibuya so I can gauge the area that Sora has to survive in until IRL canon rescue via whatever game they make next.
Task 2 - Conduct a supervised audit on Yozora. 'Supervised audit' meaning that Riku has to be accessible for assistance if Yozora gets bad in the dream.
Task 3 - Get Riku's perspective on his connection with Sora.
Task 4 - Pull Sora for a one-time 1-on-1 meeting with me so I can get his perspective on any matters.
Task 5 - Explore the Destiny Islands to get some leads on Sora's homeworld or something about he himself. Riku can take me or I can go independently.
Task 6 - Conduct an independent audit on Organisation XIII. 'Independent audit' meaning I don't need a dream guide in attendence.
Task 7 (optional) - Get Kairi's perspective on her connection with Sora.

Once again, Task 7 was optional, meaning I wasn't attempting to incubate it in real life, but could execute it if I stumbled upon it in a dream, which is what happened last night (this morning actually; the sun was up when I woke up and fell back asleep).

So far I have completed Task 5 (Dream 693 C) and Task 7 (Dream 697 B). I still have 5 tasks (1, 2, 3, 4 and 6) to go before I write up the paper which I have given myself the imaginary rule of two days to write 'till it's due. The two days will be set once all 7 tasks have been completed.

Lastly, although Riku was in the scene, I have not declared him as a dream guide here, because this felt like it was Kairi's spotlight and Riku was such an insignificant part of it, so much so that he didn't even shudder or speak.

Dream No. 693 - Separated Sections

Dream 693 A - Call Security
I don’t remember much about this dream. From where I do remember, I had come back from shopping for something at Dandenong Plaza. I was now at home and was somehow in my parents’ bed. I was going to get in to have a lie down with Riku (in his KH3 appearance). However, my dad got in between us and was being very annoying. There was a digital clock in the room with a weird set of numbers and every time that went off, my dad would harass me to wake up and would not let me have a moment with Riku.

Eventually, I ended up calling out these various 5 or 6 digit numbers, making the threat to my dad that I was calling security. Every time I called out one of these numbers, he’d stop what he was doing and leave the room, but it wasn’t effective at all as he’d come back almost immediately. The dream morphed into us being in my bedroom and my dad was being annoying again. I remember this being the last ‘security’ number I called out. Also, Riku was partially distorted for this whole dream and just as Riku was finally about to ‘un-distort’, the dream forced a wake up on me.

Dream No. 693 B - Royal Melbourne Lies
I don’t remember how this dream started. From where I do remember, I was initially at the Royal Melbourne show with my mum, checking out all the various attractions. It was only a short while before one of the grounds staff members came and took her away as it were. Unbeknown to me, she was actually working at the show. I ended up speaking to Jasmine’s sister who was also working at the show but specifically with the horses. She said that if I came back at 11:00 AM, my mum would be done.

The dream scene then shifted to me being in an actual part of the Melbourne CBD and I was wondering around until it was time for me to go back to the Royal Melbourne Show. However, I wasn’t even back yet and I realised that they were keeping my mum for longer than they had said; she was basically their workhorse now. I now had to make my way there in order to get my mum back. Not only was I cross at the officials for keeping her, but being on my own seemed to make me feel somewhat scared and insecure. I feel like I needed help and so while still in the CBD, I went to look for a dream guide.

Just outside the train station, Riku ended up coming (in his KH3 appearance). I have entirely forgotten how he was summoned and how he came. Riku had a cool, casual, and fun temperament, but by his energy, I also knew he could tell that I was scared. The dream still had a while to go but Riku never let me out of his sight and always stuck close by for the rest of the dream, as if he was fulfilling the role of a mother.

It then became the scene where I was due to take the train to get back to the showgrounds and only in this scene was Riku seemingly not present. Rather than an actual train, the dream seemed to make me fly low across these railway tracks myself, as if I was the train…? However, I saw all these brick walls and various obstacles within the train tunnels and this freaked me out. As I sped towards the obstacles, just as I was about to him them, I thought, ‘if I hit them I’ll die!’. The time came and I hit a brick wall with high speed but I was not affected AT ALL and rather the brick wall itself crumbled apart. I was now on the other side, continuing the show, I thought ‘how could this be?’, but then I remembered that although not visible, Riku was still with me and so he must have protected me and made me cause impact to the wall instead of the opposite way around.

I got to the showgrounds and Riku was physically human again, now holding my hand and letting me take him wherever I wanted to go. It almost felt like I was now attending the show with the boyfriend I never had IRL. Riku was still able to ‘mother’ me and protect me while laughing at various things we ended up talking about as well as looked at the attractions I pointed him to. We came to a pavilion with all these carnival games and prizes, the most significant one I remember was the ball in the clowns’ mouth game.

While we were there, I looked down and I seemed to have all these laminated cutouts neatly ordered in my hands. There were four of each of my dream guides; (from left to right) of Riku, 18-Volt, and Dreamy WB. Riku’s were of his default KH3 pose. 18-Volt’s hair was bizarrely ‘too black’ but his skin was ‘too pale’. Dreamy WB seemed to have her OCT 2016 school uniform appearance with the two braids. It felt as if these cutouts were a part of the carnival game prizes, like a ‘collectors edition’ as it were.

I was then back to talking with the real Riku and making him laugh. After going to some more attractions on the fairgrounds with him having his arm around me, the dream ended.

Dream No. 693 C - The Destiny Islands
I don’t remember much about this dream. From where I do remember, I seemed to be at the Kingdom Hearts Destiny Islands myself. I didn’t necessarily spend too much time there. As I wondered from the coast with clear blue water and skies, I ended up seeing all this ‘dark, blue/purple’ crystal fissure-y stuff embedded into the cliffs. I decided to walk in the direction to see what it was about and as I kept walking, the rocks were all saturated with that crystal stuff, as if it were turning into the Realm of Darkness.

However, I saw the other-side of the cliffs and made a realisation. I noticed I had ended up in a dry, barren, somewhat polluted dessert and came to the realisation that this was the wastelands from Jak 3. I remember that I had only walked in from the Destiny Islands though, so I this was not another dimension. I thought to myself ‘the sky is connected’. That’s all I can remember about this dream.

Dream No. 689 - Training At Disney Castle

The dream started with my at my house; the surroundings outside seeming like it was very early, like it was still night time but I could see. Back to what was going on in the house; my aunty had come over for a visit. Both my parents were at home but only my mum was seemingly around at the time. My aunty was talking to us about an opportunity she had for me as some sort of work experience, it had something to do with all these photos that were now all of sudden lying on the floor. I thought the project was a bit corny and so I didn’t like the idea of it. However, my mum got angry and in-fact, both my parents as a collective were angry (my aunty was just disappointed), so I realised I had to get out of there as fast as I could.

I only had a little bit of a head-start to scramble out of the house once I then realised that my parents were chasing me! I rushed out the back door and then scampered around the house to try and get to the front. Though I realised though that if I exited through the streets, my parents would detect me and be likely to get me. So instead, I flew what felt freakishly high, and went over the roof, escaping from the back blocks of my group of houses. As I then went back down towards the streets and started walking again, I called for Dreamy WB but she didn’t respond. I then tried for 18-Volt, no response from him either but there was this energy suggesting that he was still angry with me. I thought I had run out of options, so although I couldn’t get help, I had to keep moving or my parents would catch up with me.

However, as I started walking up the hill towards the milk-bar, I saw Riku casually walking on the other side of the road (in his KH3 appearance) that the milk-bar was on. I then remembered that Riku was my third option and so yelled out to him so he could hear me across the street. It took quite a lot of tries but he eventually noticed me, quickly turning his head sideways to see me and then he crossed the road to come to my side.

Riku looked at me like he could tell I was anxious from my parents, so he came and hugged me. However, when he put his arms around me, both he and I ascended into the air and I realised he wanted to take me somewhere. For a while, it just seemed like he was transporting me casually within my area, but then he paused while in mid-air and told me to make sure I was holding onto him tightly. I realised that he wanted to fly me to Kingdom Hearts. So then I made sure I was holding onto him for dear life; my arms around his neck, my body pressed into his chest, and my head perched over one of Riku’s shoulders.

However, Riku seemed to hesitate his next move, as if he noticed some sort of risk. He gently pushed my head off his shoulder and put it ‘behind his’ in regards to the direction we were supposed to be facing for this action to work. Once he made sure I was secure and ‘out of harms way’, he flew extremely fast with his head slightly backwards, however swinging it forward at the last minute in order to have enough impact to bash the sky open, forming an inter-dimensional hole. At first, the hole seemed to be nothing but ‘darkness’, but as he flew back and put me back into a normal position, we could actually see into the other world. It was at that point that I realised he not only wanted to take me to Kingdom Hearts, but ultimately to Disney Castle which was a sub-dimension of Kingdom Hearts, so he had to take me through yet another ‘rift’.

Once Riku had taken me through all the necessary ‘holes’, I realised we were finally at the Disney world, but it didn’t look cartoony; rather it was quite a realistic setting. The grounds looked the setting in the Lord of The Rings / The Hobbit movies where they’d have the major battles; the grass was a very lush green, the field being wide and mountains being seen in the distance. As we were going across the field, I noticed Riku’s altitude getting lower and lower until eventually, he landed us right in front of Disney Castle (which did look like the actual Disney Castle but smaller) and released me.

I realised that there was an event going on at Disney Castle in which Riku wanted to utilise to help train me for how I could deal with my parents. It was something called ‘Ninja Battles’, even though it had absolutely nothing to do with Ninjas. It was some sort of physical game but I cannot describe the specific actions. First it was just me and Riku and although we were battling each other, I didn’t mind as it was only for training and no one was actually going to hurt the other.

I was stopped though with the realisation that my parents had found their way into this realm. I ran in a panic to see my mum walking down a now visible road in the distance while looking down at her phone (suspecting she was in contact with my dad). I ran back to Riku and was talking at him like at motormouth, asking him what on Earth I should do with the knowledge of my parents finding their way in. However, Riku’s calm response and unique perspective surprised me. He said that they may also have come here to improve themselves and to just leave them be.

We were than able to get back into the ‘Ninja Battles' and I told Riku that although I was going up against him, I found it fun as I knew we were only training. He gave a slight smile and then we got back into it. However this time, others also seemed to join us and it was now between 6 people rather than just the 2 of us. The other 4 were random, unidentified Disney characters. After continuing to playfully feud for awhile, the dream ended and I woke up to an early time at dawn.

Dream No. 686 - Reality Is Believing

I don’t remember how this dream started. From where I do remember, my family and I were just finishing up at our beach-side holiday destination. On the way back home, I seemed to end up by myself but at another accommodation complex, somewhere within the Dandenong Ranges. It was an entire group of people and I heard that it was supposed to split up between males and females. I was a special case though; the person told me that I was going to be in the mens’ cabin to be with Riku. As the announcement was being made, a short sub-scene was playing with Riku, supposedly in the cabin, in his KH2 appearance, wearing his Organisation XIII coat, but he looked happy and had this fatherly energy about him like he was ready to care for me. I was now so excited and couldn’t wait until we got to be in our cabins.

The next scene felt like we were finally getting access to the cabins, but the scene actually took place at my other grandparents’ house. Apparently there was still the females cabin and the males cabin, but then I also heard that there was a now a third group made called the Dream Eaters cabin (Dream Eaters IRL is the Kingdom Hearts interpretation of Dream Guide) and apparently I was going to be with the Dream Eaters. I then found out that it would consist of 2 men and 2 ladies.

I went in the back room behind my grandparents’ garage and there were 4 laminated pieces of paper in there, who were supposedly going to be my Dream Eaters. One of them was Riku, and another one of them was WBD… I can’t remember the other man and woman. I felt more excited than in the last scene and I realised that I had to awaken them. I went up to the couch which the 4 pieces of paper were laying on and I recited a repetitive prayer over them to awaken them.

Three of the Dream Eaters had awaken, but I was notably struggling with Riku. However, Master Yen Sid appeared, supposedly walking in from the garage and he caught my attention. I turned towards him and he spoke to me, saying something like “you might be struggling because you think he’s not real but in order to awaken him, you need to think he’s real”. As Master Yen Sid walked off again I felt this new, confident energy within me as I recited something very short and indeed Riku became human, once again in his KH2, Organisation XIII appearance but again without the blindfold.

I was excited to see the other Dream Eaters but I was most excited to see him and almost screamed in excitement when he got up off the couch. Riku didn’t hesitate and went outside into the backyard with me. Once we were outside, we were talking with each other and he was laughing as he then did cartwheels on the grass in an attempt to entertain me but I could tell he was having fun while doing them too. However, the fun couldn’t last forever and the dream scene changed again.

I was now by myself and was apparently getting ready to see Edward (Ed) B at a convention. There was a sub-scene of him talking to me. He said that he’d only allow two people in the room at a time because there was going to be no one around to protect him; from this, there was this grave feeling that I would miss out and that I had travelled to the con for nothing. My surrounding energy was projecting the thought of ‘he seems to care more about himself than any of his fans. Why can’t he take alternative measures to make sure everyone gets their turn?’. I can’t remember anything else about this dream.

I was unpleasantly shocked to see that WBD was portrayed as a dream guide in this dream, because IRL, she's one of my online community members that has mistreated me in the past. In contrast though, I was pleasantly surprised and honoured to see Master Yen Sid, and the fact that he seemed to already have an awareness of the connection between me and Riku. Also, my dreams seem to use the term 'Dream Eaters', but that's basically KH-DDD's interpretation of 'Dream Guides'.

Dream No. 684 - The Other Plant Nursery

I don’t remember how the dream started. From where I do remember, my mum, brother and I had pre-booked tickets to see a movie. I was the one driving us to an old styled cinema in a small town. I had an idea of where I wanted to park, but either my mum or my brother (I’ve forgotten which one) told me to park where ‘The Brass’ would normally park. I ended parking in their area, though I was relieved because there also seemed to be other public patrons parked there as well.

We then ended up inside the cinema and my dad was with us well. I can recall that were waiting to see a film that was sort of a cross between Ice Age and Star Wars. As were waiting to go inside the theatre, there was a lady that seemed to catch my attention. She seemed like a very nice person and was asking me to do something for her; to sing something or learn something to sing for her. Before we were going to leave the area, I recalled that I had to see that person (her name was stated in dream but I have forgotten it). The dream then changed scenes.

For the second scene, I was at my house and was trying to invite people over to a party that I was hosting. First of all, on my brother’s phone, I managed to contact someone with the identity of ‘Farting Tart’, we ended up having a small conversation but I forgot what it was about. I then scrolled down my brother’s contacts to see who else he had on his phone and I was surprised to see that he had Riku’s number. Even though it felt strange that Riku was more connected to my brother in this instance, I decided to send him what seemed to be an awkwardly short text to invite him to the party. When the text was sent though, this energy descended upon me, hinting that Riku was actually likely to make an appearance later in the dream.

I was then at a familiar shopping centre with my family, but then it was distorted enough so it felt like an unfamiliar shopping centre. I forgot what we were specially doing at the time, but I remember we went into Target and we saw a set of elevators in the store. My brother said that in order to see his friends, we had to go down them. I was wondering why we had to go down when we were pretty much already on the ground floor, but then I figured this could have been a way to enter into another dimension.

The dream skipped showing us going down the elevator but it felt like we were in this so called ‘dimension’ when the dream shifted scenes. It was just me and my brother as we were the only ones that supposedly went down. We ended up in this large but beautifully antique area of shops, almost like Sovereign Hill. We ended up walking past the local Lindt Cafe and went inside to see what we could snag.

Inside the shop, the lady at the counter seemed to be normal, but also to be very cold and somewhat scheming. I found a hot chocolate whisk that I liked and brought it to the counter. When the lady calculated it, with my brother standing beside me, she said that the item would cost $41.63 and I immediately stopped her, claiming that it a rip-off. I then turned to my brother as I said that the one we got from an IRL chocolate shop (which is actually a true story) was only $5.00. The lady said that she would reconsider and charge us as if were buying 2 for 1; however, the price ended up not being cheaper, but rather more expensive, showing $56.58 on the computer. I was outraged.

Through feeling, I noticed that I had screwed up my face at the lady. As I held the whisk to my brother, it showed pieces of chocolate falling of it; as if the chocolate had already melted, the actual fault is hard to describe. I then let the lady have it; I told her that she was going against consumer law. I specifically stated that goods to be abiding by consumer law, they had to be fit for purpose, as well as that they had also to match the description. I then pointed vigorously at the collapsing chocolate whisk as I said to the lady “this does not match the description”. I then stormed out of the shop as I was then on my own but bumped into my university friend RV and told her about what nonsense I had just experienced, explaining the principles of consumer law to her as well.

By myself again, I entered this nursery shop which sold all these plants and other gardening supplies and there I seemed to join up with my old high school friend JSa. It felt just like the old days in real life, we walked around, looking at all the different plants while we spoke and I tried to make her laugh. At one point though, something caught my eye. On a high counter in a corner, there was a small green hologram of Riku’s face, suggesting that he was somewhere present in the dream. I left JSa where she was and went by myself to investigate.

It didn’t take long before I saw a middle aged man wondering around the nursery, he was a large build and was wearing a black short-sleeved t-shirt and medium washed denim jeans. Although this looked, and sounded, like a completely different person, there was this energy always pulsating from him to tell me that this was in-fact Riku. From my end of the store, I yelled out “Riku!”, numerous times, but the man kept on ignoring me. The man, however, started walking away and so I had to walk quickly to catch up to him. As he kept walking, I tried to grab his attention; “Riku, please! Wait!”; he kept on going. I knew what was going on. He didn’t know who I was or what my intention was, so he was probably thinking, in-fact hoping that I’d just go away and leave him alone.

I realised that he was about to enter into a ‘parallel’ version of the nursery as I was supposedly in the ‘real life’ version of the nursery and we was going to enter back to where he was, being the ‘dream’ version of the nursery. Before he went into the other one, I ran as fast as I could, saying with urgency, “Riku, I’m your dreamer, I’m here to help you” as I then finally caught him, hugging him from behind, putting my hands on gently his sides and so he was forced to stand still but had an energy radiating off him like he was annoyed, and like he was still doubtful to trust me, like anyone would want to help him. Once I let go of him, he crossed to ‘the other side’ and so I had to make a decision, whether I’d stay where I was, or go to Riku’s version of the nursery but that meant I had to leave JSa behind and perhaps wouldn’t be able to return.

I carefully made my choice and ended up going to pursue Riku. I caught him in the back corner of the ‘other’ nursery and he grumbled something at me, I forgot what he said, but it was in this deep, overly Southern, hunter like voice. But I kept deflecting what he said and kept reassuring him about who I was and that I was there for him. Eventually he stopped babbling but still didn’t sound happy. He did say though that I had to work for him and it sounded like he was going to put me through a tough slog.

Reluctantly, I agreed but then also told him as a dreamer that I wanted him to carry me and I taught him how he could do it, telling him that ‘the laws don’t exist’ (meaning the laws of gravity and other physics). He took a deep sigh and then stood slightly bent over, with his back to me, insinuating that I climb onto his back. Once I secured myself, he lifted to stand up straight again, and although he wasn’t holding me at all (and neither was I holding onto him him), I didn’t fall off. Still with a subtle energy of annoyance, he walked over to where the supposed ‘work’ was.

When we got to the bench, Crash Bandicoot also appeared, in his wacky crazy demeanour just as he’s portrayed in the IRL games; also, Crash was not distorted in appearance, unlike Riku who heavily was. However, the distorted Riku didn’t seem to be too happy with his companion at all; in-fact it felt as if Crash Bandicoot was with him as a replacement because Sora was still missing in Kingdom Hearts. As Riku was giving me instructions on what to do, Crash kept making these manic noises and ‘spun’ himself into the distance. Catching Riku’s attention, he looked over at Crash and said to me in his weird Southern voice, something like “that bandicoot’s done nothing at all”.

There were three ‘trays’, one on each side of the bench, and Riku told me that I was to fill them with the fertiliser that was in the bag on the bench. There was barely any fertiliser in the trays and that was supposedly what Crash had already done. I thought Riku was being a bit harsh towards me and still wasn’t convinced that he was being a good dream guide; so I said I’d do it, but that he had to still carry me. He tried complaining but I quickly interrupted him and told him he could carry me between trays. So using the same method as he did before, he got me on his back and moved me between the trays. However, I realised I could do my job properly as the fertiliser in the bad had turned into some sort of cut up capsicum and tomato salad mix, but I filled the tray with this to show that I was trying.

When I finished the last try, I told Riku that I was done. He didn’t look impressed but then as his dreamer, I politely told him that I did the best I could. He went over to look in the fertiliser bag and he seemed to have a slight change of heart when he saw that I had indeed emptied it. He sighed and said, “let’s just leave it to someone who knows what they’re doing”, insinuating that the distorted Riku felt at fault for the group’s project failure.

However, he brought a try full of water and told me that he wanted to drain it. Without enough time to say anything, he put it on my dress, so now my dress would get dirty. As he was lowering the try, I panicked as fast as I could, like “Riku what are you doing!? You’re going to make my dress wet!”. but as I said, he just put it there without a second thought. I sighed as I realised and told him, “It’s okay Riku, remember the laws don’t exist and so my dress should be try in no time (rather than staying dirty and wet)”, and indeed, the dream camera showed my dress and it dried immediately, with no stains left behind either. I saw that I was wearing a teal and white chequered design.

After that, Riku prompted me to come with him as he was supposedly going to jump through the huge portal on the wall to go to Kindgom Hearts. Although his distorting was still making him nasty and sour, I felt an energy from Riku like he now appreciated me as his dreamer, like I had finally showed him that I was enough. He still wasn’t happy with Crash though and as Riku was helping me through the portal, Crash was skipping towards it himself, still making his stupid ‘hannah montana’ noises. I had a feeling within me that as soon as we got to the other side, Riku’s distortion would lift off. However, before we could even touch the portal, the dream ended.

Dream No. 681 - The Wrong Elevator

I don’t remember how this started. From where I do remember, I seemed to be outside my Chisholm 311 campus and four girls from my high school were; I can remember who one of them was but not the other three. I then ended up at a distorted version of Knox Shopping Centre where I came to Hungry Jacks in the food court. The same four girls were there but as if they were acting like bodyguards and wouldn’t let me near the ordering counter.

The dream camera changed perspectives to third-person mode and Riku (in his KH3 appearance) was seen to be ordering at the counter. He was seen talking to the girl at the counter, as she asked him which Fanta he wanted, he pointed at the machine and said he wanted the pink one (there was orange and pink (raspberry)). He had also ordered a chicken burger which he was seen to take a bite of. Back to me; I was trying to get through the girls to the counter when all of sudden, Riku finished his order, got his drink, and came and told them they didn’t need to be there guarding the counter. As Riku than walked over to find a table; I felt cut that he bought himself a pink Fanta but didn’t get one for me. However, I felt like I shouldn’t say anything in fear of sounding rude and so I just quietly accepted my fate of getting nothing.

Once Riku had finished his lunch, the dream had showed us just outside the food court and Riku began to speak to me. He seemed to make an observation that if I was to return to my university campus for a new semester, my familiarity with the elevator my have washed and so my fear could return, so he specifically came as he said he wanted to take me for elevator practise. We discussed that we’d attempt usage of the elevator at MYER.

He then seemed to give me this entire preparatory speech. He put his hands on my shoulders and looked me right in the eyes, starting off with an endearment as he said “Angel, can you take control of your fears or will you let them take control of you?”. I didn’t necessarily answer as I knew it was a rhetorical question but Riku seemed to gauge from my energy that I was willing, so he directed me to go towards MYER. I ended up waiting for him at the entrance as I had gotten ahead a little bit and he needed to catch up to me.

Once Riku caught up, he and walked into MYER, which looked significantly different than in real life. Rather than being one large floor space, the second floor we entered on just seemed to be a narrow corridor with an eventual dead end. There were two young ladies working at the counter in the entryway, in which Riku had stopped to speak to one of them. He said something to the lady like “excuse me, do you know where the lift is? I’m just taking her for some practise because she’s scared of them”. The lady was very friendly and understanding and she pointed out to Riku where the lift was. Riku signalled for me to follow him to the elevator and so I did.

Just before we walked in, he once again asked me if I was ready. At the sight of the doors, my fear seemed to be present again but then I did say to Riku that I was going to do it. As the doors opened, Riku escorted me in and as they shut, realising I was still uneasy, he ended up encasing me in a surprisingly tight hug for him, as I peered over his left shoulder to remain true to facing my returning fear rather than hiding entirely. However, the surroundings in the lift became extremely distorted and started to look nothing like one in real life and it was actually me that told Riku that the surroundings were incorrect.

Riku looked around and he too realised that the environment was a dud. He was now thinking about which other elevator he would take me in. He thought about ones more in the middle of the shopping centre but then he decided that the interiors of them may be too dark and therefore look ominous to me. Eventually, he decided and told me that he would take me to the elevator at the opposite end of the shopping centre as he believed this would be the next best environment to my university one.

As he and I walked out of MYER, the same way we came in, we now past by two ladies working at the front register. An African lady was talking to another customer and the lady that Riku had spoken to before seemed to be preoccupied with her own task. However, at the last minute, the lady ended stopping us and asked Riku how we went. He told her that the attempt was a disappointment and that he’d be taking me to the one at the opposite end of the shopping centre. Just as we were about to exit MYER all together and walk to the other end, the dream ended.

Dream No. 676 - Mystery Of The Possessed Kingdom Hearts Characters

I don’t remember how the dream started. From where I do remember, it was a simulation of Kingdom Hearts and for some time, the first-person entity in the dream was Sora (in his KH3 appearance; in-fact, all characters were in their KH3 appearance). He was in this world which seemed to be like a forest with ancient ruins scattered throughout it. The King (Mickey) was instructing him throughout a mission which seemed to, though, have some dark, creepy and somewhat psychotic vibe about it. Sora had to collect these red coins (120 of them) and the later the coins, they were harder to find and some even triggered weird events for Sora.

The dream seemed to change scenes but it was regarding the same situation. I was now amongst Riku as well as Aqua and Terra in a different, seemingly more peaceful part of the forest. The King wasn’t there, but through his energy, we knew that Sora was in trouble. In-fact, Riku, Terra and Aqua spoke to me, wanting me to go on a scouting mission for them. Ventus was with them but he didn’t really say anything and was rather hiding being Terra and Aqua as if he was their child. I realised that the reason they wanted me to go is because as I am not an official member of Kingdom Hearts; Organisation XIII would not recognise me and so I could do whatever I wanted without being caught.

The dream now split into two different scenes of what each party was doing. Firstly, the dream went to Riku, Ventus, Terra and Aqua who now seemed to set up base under a great big majestic tree and they were there waiting for me. Terra and Aqua were sitting on an additional stump on the side and were casually conversing with each other (though there was no sound from them, just visual) as Ventus seemed to be eating a bowl of porridge, but not by himself. Riku was spoon-feeding Ventus and I believed Riku was practising his feeding technique as a dream guide for when I would return. As Terra and Aqua had a calm, casual energy, there was a nervous energy coming off Riku like he was extremely worried that I wouldn’t make it back safely.

Now the dream went to my scene. I was walking to this more open area and I saw these characters glowing with some light-greenish data shield around them; they were recognisable Disney characters from Kingdom Hearts. In the real life games, Donald and Goofy are Sora’s main companions but in this dream, they were his closest, nastiest prison guards. Sora didn’t have any obvious restrictions but if he moved from in-between Donald and Goofy, the possessed characters would hurt him very badly (any characters with the shields moulded around them).

Even though the characters were extremely nasty and creepy when possessed, I walked around without a care as I recalled I would not be recognised by any of them; though my energy was that of sheer nervousness. Upon assessing the group, I shockingly noticed that Kairi was also possessed and so could also very well hurt Sora. The dream camera then went to a close-up of Sora, Donald and Goofy. Whoever was possessed would be able to say some of the nastiest, most horrible things in somewhat of a deep robotic tone; and this was Goofy at the moment, threatening Sora… Sora did dare not move or say a word. However, Goofy’s shield seemed to switch off and he was trying to cram as much in as he could naturally. However, it wasn’t long before his shield came back on and he was as psychotic as ever. Donald just stood there all the time, looking like he could hit Sora with a baseball bat.

Goofy seemed to now be giving the ultimate speech of sheer terror and Donald now looked so violent like he was ready to pounce. I even felt Riku’s energy of sheer terror from afar, being worried sick about his dreamer. The speech did it; as Donald and Goofy remained on the hill to bar Sora; the rest of the possessed characters, including Kairi, got violent with each other. The dream camera even ended up doing a close up on the Pirates of the Caribbean group who were punching each other in the face while laughing in their faces like drunkards. I had seen enough and I figured it was time to head back to the group at the great tree before something would indeed happen to me too.

As I quickly but quietly slipped away, I started off with a little dash and propelled myself into the air. I gained the best feeling inside me as I was to fly across the forest to return ‘home’, this energy of sheer joy and excitement to see my Kingdom Hearts family again. Flying felt so much fun as I went up and down and then straight forward, but making a slight left curve to steer towards the great tree, and now this triumphant sounding music was playing as I continued towards the great tree.

Now as I was flying straight again, as soon as I caught sight of the great tree, Aqua and Terra smiled and started waving at me. However, Riku seemed to have his back turned and was still doing something with Ventus. Terra took a quick second to tap Riku on the back and had a look like ‘told you she’d make it’. Riku turned around quickly in a flustered manner and had the most surprised look on his face, like he was gasping in astonishment, as he then smiled and waved to welcome me back along with Terra and Aqua. While I was still at full speed, just before I entered under the shade of the tree; the dream ended and I woke up.

I also ended up discussing this dream, so I'm also going to share here what I said about it on my Tumblr account:

I’ve treated Kingdom Hearts differently compared to the past video game worlds I’ve incorporated in my dreams. Because Kingdom Hearts is such a large group and they all seem to be ‘friends’ with each other, I felt bad about using only Riku and therefore perhaps taking him away from the rest of them; so I’ve devised a 3 Level system in which the whole KH group can contribute. As Riku is my dream guide; he’s the only one on Level 3. Those that are not dream guides but I think still have a strong competence are on Level 2; they are Aqua, Terra, Roxas and Sora; they can act as substitutes if my dreams were to impair Riku in any way. The rest are on Level 1 which are those who are... Casual players; they are Kairi, Axel, Xion, Ventus and Namine. For those shocked about Kairi; I MAY promote her to Level 2 depending on how she performs IRL in Melody of Memory. It’s funny because I think the Level system was really demonstrated in Dream No. 676, but I’ll get to that recap eventually.

So, since Riku was maintaining significant weakness as a dream guide; I decided to write a letter to Aqua and Terra in my IRL task journal, asking them to ‘speak to him’ about some points I as a dreamer wanted to address. I wrote to Terra because he’s Riku’s predecessor in their world; and then I included Aqua because I creatively thought ‘what if Terra gets another spell of darkness or some kind of rage?’. It was amazing to actually see results, but I was not expecting Dream No. 676.

I’ll give the actual full dream recap in another post, but here’s some discussion on it. In Dream No. 676, Riku, Terra and Aqua appeared to me (after the first scene was about Sora rather than me). Ventus was also there, but he seemed to be ‘hiding’ behind Terra and Aqua like a kid; so that there emphasises my Subconscious’ (SubC’s) assertion that I had put Ventus on Level 1; whereas Terra and Aqua’s Level 2 was demonstrated by them ‘outlining the mission’ to me; and in this dream, it also seemed that they were teaching Riku about being a dream guide. In-fact it felt like the Wayfinder Trio were the main ones featured but Riku was brought along as that link between me and them.

In a sub-scene, while I was gone; Aqua and Terra were sitting at the side on a stump and were talking with each other. Then there was Riku and Ventus at a table; Ventus had a bowl of porridge and Riku was spoon-feeding it to him. I feel like Aqua and Terra had asked Ventus to be a ‘practise dummy’ for Riku and Ventus had agreed. Riku may never spoon-feed me a meal in a subsequent dream, but it was just a metaphor at least of general caring conduct as a ‘dream guide’ in my universe.

Like Riku still has a way to go to be a fully-fledged dream guide in my universe (he still has to master hugging and carrying), but he tried so damn hard in Dream No. 676. In-fact, Riku was the sole one to have the fear of God in him that I wouldn’t make it back alive (like a parent, he was worried sick for my safety), whereas the energies from Aqua and Terra showed that they were always confident I’d make it back to them safely. In-fact when I was returning, it was Terra that tapped Riku on the back and Riku was absolutely shocked. Ventus just continued to twiddle around at his end of the table. So with our group, it felt like a family of 3 ‘adults’ (Riku, Terra and Aqua) and 2 ‘children’ (me and Ventus).

I loved the interaction I had with these guys in Dream No. 676, so I decided afterwards to draw us. I’m the one in-between Riku and Terra. My outfit is consistent; I devised this to be my Kingdom Hearts OC outfit; I thought my usual school uniform would not suit, so this is my new get-up. The background is externally sourced from a wallpaper image but this is similar to what the environment was like in the dream. As I said; I’ll put the actual dream recap in a separate post. Dream No. 671 - Protests In The Streets

I don’t remember how the dream started. From where I do remember, the dream had just changed to another scene. My brother and I were walking around this unknown town, but it didn’t remain peaceful for too long. Apparently the dream started initiating the sense of protests and riots in this town as well. There was this man that was one of the troublemakers but he seemed innocent. I was talking to him on the streets for a while until he said he had to go because we could feel the presence of the police closing in. I was slightly devastated that I couldn’t talk to the man more because he seemed like a good guy.

As the guy went into the block of houses, the police car pulled up and parked at the side of the street. There was only one police officer in the car and when he got out, he ended up speaking to me and my brother. Even though he was a guy, he seemed to have some womanly features as well. As he was talking to us, he had this seemingly creepy grin and he was saying way too much to try and sound like the good guy. In-fact, he was talking to my brother and I as if we were babies and we didn’t understand anything… I did not like this one at all.

The police officer eventually went away to try and find the man from before and when he did, my brother all of a sudden got really angry at me. He accused me of saying something to the police officer when in-fact, I said absolutely nothing the entire time. I tried to explain to my brother but he just wasn’t having any of it. Eventually, he got so mad with me that he actually started to walk away. I kept trying to beg for him to listen and understand but he just stormed off and actually left the scene.

Everything that was happening made me now feel unsafe, but what amplified this the most was the way I was treated by my own brother, and so I was under the belief that he too was affected by the surrounding riots. I decided that it was time for me to find a dream guide before things got any worse, so I could be taken to safety. I thought I knew who I wanted, but at the same time I didn’t. As I was walking down the surrounding suburb streets in a mix between a calm but panicked manner, I first called for 18-Volt, but then I changed it to Dreamy WB, but then I changed it again, this time to Riku.

I seemed to stick with Riku though as I repeatedly called his name as I tried to walk further and further away from the town. Eventually, due to Riku’s energy, I turned around and noticed him walking into the scene from one of the backstreets; he even went around a parked car. I stood as I watched Riku coming towards me. As he then traversed the grass to get to me, the sides of his hair (he was in KH3 appearance) seemed to sway slightly back and forth. In this dream, his hair ended up looking really soft and silky and the white on his t-shirt was almost visually piercing.

As he was finally in-front of me, he hugged me briefly. On releasing me, Riku then gave me a slightly serious look like he knew I was in danger and was telling me I needed to get out of this place. Although he himself wasn’t, his energy made it feel like we were linking arms as I walked beside him to be escorted out of the area. However, that energy didn’t last long and I realised that Riku was actually gone, but not by his own will.

I was shocked as I looked down to notice two pieces of a small laminated Riku in my hand. My heart sank as I realised his head was separated from his body; the dream basically ruining his existence. I knew I had to keep walking in the direction Riku had started me on though. I did so with a look of despair and disappointment, but at the same time, feeling obliged to make this Riku whole again. Eventually I was able to stop and had a roll of sticky tape with me. I took a piece off as I tried to connect Riku’s head back to the rest of his body. Even though I had used the sticky tape, I came to the realisation that Riku would never be the same again. The dream ended there.

Dream No. 670N - I Will Survive

It was a fairly short dream, or so it felt. As in the game reveal trailer I saw in the morning when I was awake, both Riku and Kairi were togther in The Final World. However, the dream was playing in third-person and I skipped and twirled into the scene in the Kingdom Hearts outfit I drew myself in IRL. As this was happening, the song ‘I Will Survive’ was playing and I was somewhat singing to it as I approached the lurching Xehanort with purpose; it’s as if this would be my theme if I was really in Kindgom Hearts. I couldn’t tell their emotions but I could tell that Riku and Kairi could do nothing but stop and stare at the magnificent entrance of this unknown but seemingly powerful person who was going to handle Xehanort on their behalf.

The dream then moved onto the next scene which was completely unrelated. The energy felt like I was in my bedroom, but the scene itself was rather an empty black void as I was supposedly talking to Riku about how my tax exam went. I said that I needed to get 35 out of 60 to pass (which was actually also the case in real life) and then Riku appeared (still in the black void) as a hologram and gained a sort of ‘yikes’ look on his face; he shot his head back as his mouth remained closed but his eyes widened with his grey eyebrows shooting up and his forehead scrunching up. I woke up after this as my mum said dinner was ready.

I find it an amazing coincidence that this dream happened immediately after the tax exam; like 1,1/2 hrs after the conclusion of it. It's even more amazing because in my waking life task journal, I asked Riku to be with me IRL (in the form of energy) during the exam period. I was non-lucid, yet I accurately stated I needed 35/60 to pass which is actually the benchmark I need to meet in real life, and then Riku giving such an animated reaction to that made it feel even more real.

Dream No. 669 - The Dreadful Tax Exam

I can’t remember how the dream started. From where I do remember, I was at my old high school, however, I was using this as my primary place of study; it felt almost like home to me. There were a few scenes showing me in the year 12 rooms and I was worrying about the material as well as that I was not going to leave myself enough time to sit the exam properly.

The subject coordinator had given us a practise exam for some of the revision materials. I was now at the library in the year 12 study room as I seemed to recap in the dream what the practise exam was based on. Apparently, in the real exam, the subject coordinator was going to also be giving us questions completely unrelated to tax to distract us, and so there were some in the practise exam as well. There were some really hard questions about biology and then there was one question which wrote ‘what is a baka?’. I had a feeling that the subject coordinator was trying to call us an idiot as I envisioned the answer being ‘baka means idiot in Japanese’.

In the dream, the exams were still being sat at the Chisholm 311 campus but everyone had to do it on the computers. As it was getting stressfully close to exam time, I was going to ask for Riku to take me to campus. Even though he wasn’t yet present, I didn’t end up yelling or even declaring; I seemed to use a calm voice instead like I was talking to somone in the area. I said; ‘Riku, please take me to Chisholm 311 and please include my laptop, the Australian Taxation Textbook, the Australian Taxation Study Manual, the Australian Taxation Legislation Guide, and a calculator’. I said this because I didn’t have those materials currently with me, and I wanted to use my laptop because I didn’t trust the Chisholm computers. Riku didn’t necessarily appear to transport me like I expected but his energy started to amplify and there was a slight hologram of him in his KH3 appearance as I then seemed to suddenly be teleported to the location, with the requested materials magically appearing in a neat stack in my arms.

Unlike in real life, the campus wasn’t in the correct suburb and was rather in the CBD of Melbourne. I first seemed to be hovering and looking at the campus from the outside, like Riku was yet to release me. Inside, I saw some familiar classmates already working at the computers, so it seemed that I was already late and had find to make my way to the examination room quickly. Social distancing protocols weren’t being measured either; people were sitting next to each other.

The dream scene then changed and I seemed to be inside the distorted building, on Level. I had to make my way to Level 3 as that’s where the classrooms for our exams were. The only way to get to Level 3, like in real life, was via an elevator. I eventually found an elevator but it said that it leads to ‘MYER’ and so I grew a look of disgust as MYER was the last place I needed and was definitely not related to the exam.

There were no other elevators around and so I figured I had to traverse the huge building (campus is really small in real life) to find another one. As I walked through Level 1 and 2, I realised the majority of this area of Chisholm was actually a public cinemas entreprise, not an education institution. I kept the look of disgust at all the irrelevent, pointless features of the campus, but a feeling of worry and panic started to increasingly build up as well. The scene ended and I never found my way to Level 3.

I was though back in the library of my high school and as I walked through room, there were now other students around. Strangely, they were all crying for some reason and I could make out why. Everyone was wearing dresses and even though this is an all-girls school, there were boys in dresses too! I approached the library man at the desk to have myself marked off for the study period. In this dream he seemed nasty and asked my why some details weren’t there. I said that even though I was there, I was not enrolled as a student in a homeroom, and it hasn’t been that way since 2017 through to 2020.

Eventually I was able to go to the year 12 study room next door again and there were people in there. There were two people that came up to me and spoke to me, and it was actually Sora and Kairi in uniform even though they didn’t actually identify themselves! Sora was the only boy in the dream not wearing a dress but proper shirt and pants instead, and even the navy blue jumper over the top. Sora asked on behalf of himself and Kairi about going to the Chisholm 311 campus because apparently they had the same exam there. I said that I was asking Riku (whom they seemed to not know in this dream) to take me and that he could take them too.

I walked out of the room by myself and proceeded to ask Riku like last time; but I asked just for myself. I figured that once he had me at the campus; I would ask him to go and do another trip for Sora and Kairi. Just as Riku was fading into appearance to take me across to campus, the dream ended and I woke up.
